of the new year. Um, this is our board of finance meeting here before our our regular meeting. We're going to start with our pledge and our prayer. [Music] >> I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> Let's pray. Dear Lord, thank you for the uh winter season that you've given us. Um thank you for the time that we got to spend during Christmas um with family and to celebrate uh the birth of your son. Lord, be with us as we continue to make decisions not only on behalf of this wonderful school, but also our community that surrounds it. Um Lord, be with those that are here tonight and and and guide
and uh strengthen us. and Lord be with those who couldn't be here tonight as well and just keep them in your hearts and in your minds. In your name we pray. Amen. [Music] >> All right, we're going to jump right in here, but want to welcome Jason as our newest member and uh hope you enjoy it. All right, first we're going to approve uh the agenda. um the first agenda for the board of finance meeting, the shorter one that you'll see. Um there's no additions or corrections, so we just need a motion to approve it. I'll >> make a motion. >> Second. All in favor? >> I opposed. >> Okay, motion carries. All right. Um moving on to our action items. We do need to elect officers for 2026 for the board of finance. And
the first position is the president position. And this has been in the past. So, I'm just going to say I' I'd like to nominate Ben for that again because of his financial expertise. >> I'll second it. >> All right. All in favor? >> Opposed? >> Okay, then. Thanks for serving them. >> Welcome. I'll still do it. >> I didn't even ask. >> We're just making assumptions here. >> A little forced. >> Twisted arm. >> Oh, good. >> All right. Next, we have um for our board of finance, we have our secretary position. So, I'll open up for nominations for that. >> Heather, did you serve on that last December? >> I think Mike was the secretary for the board of finance and for the board last time. Okay. Would you be willing to serve him
as the secretary on the board? >> Sure, I can do that. >> Then I will nominate you. >> Okay, I'll second it. >> All right. Um All right, then. All in favor? >> I opposed. >> Okay, motion carries. >> Okay, next is the appointment of our investing officer, uh Mrs. Don Cook. So, we need a motion to approve. >> I'll make the motion. >> Okay. All in favor? >> I >> opposed. Okay. Motion carries. Uh, next we have the investment officers investment reports. Um, so there's one on we're going to do all these together. There's one on policy. Um, there's a corporation report, the elementary report, and the middle school high school report. Um, I know that those got sent out to us earlier, so hopefully you all had a chance to take a look
at those. And right now, if there's any questions or clarifications, I'm guessing that, uh, Don could help us out with that if we have anything. So, um, anyone come across anything in those reports that you'd like to clarify? anything that we didn't see that we should have seen? >> Um, the investment reports are real easy. It is basically our interest that you're earning. Um, so we started the year at 4.07% and we finished the year at 3.48%. That's what the market >> but still good. >> It is still good. We are thankful for the lessons of that those funds. All right. If there are no further questions or clarifications, then is there a motion to approve the four reports? >> I'll make that motion. >> Second. >> All in favor? >> I >> opposed. Okay.
Motion carries. Uh next we have the financial condition reports. Um each year we look at these they they look pretty similar. The CSFI report and then the data source C CSFI data source. Um again I know you had a chance to look at them. So I don't know if we need to go over them but if there's any questions I'm guessing that that Don could answer those for us. Lots of graphs and fun stuff. one thing. I'm not the one who puts that together for us. That's through the dashboard of the IP lead. >> All right. Any any clarifications on those or questions about those? Okay. Is there a motion to approve the financial condition reports? >> I'll make that motion. >> Second. >> All in favor? >> Opposed? >> Okay. Motion carries. Um, next
we have our approval of our expenditure goals. Um, there's four of those. One deals with student achieve, academic achievement, um, instructional support for our students and overhead and operational costs. Uh, probably the one that we we talk about the most, I would say, as far as as trying this is a goal for us to keep our tax rate at or around a dollar. And we at this point in time, that is set there. and we've been able to stay there at this time. Um, but that is our goal. Um, so we we we're doing good there. Uh, but did anyone have any questions on those expenditure goals that you would have read earlier? And or John, do you have anything you want to mention about those or number number four is we've been very fortunate.
Um, it's going to be a hard one to continue on. So, we do our best. It's a goal. >> That's right. All right. Is there a motion to approve the expenditure goals? >> I'll make a motion to approve. >> I'll second it. >> All in favor? >> I opposed. >> Okay. Motion carries. Um, any other matters that any board member wants to discuss right now during this board of finance meeting or questions or anything else? All right, then we need a motion to adjourn. Motion to adjurnn. >> Second. >> All right. All in favor? >> Opposed? Okay. Motion carries. All right. We're going to move right into our our regular meeting now and uh we start with our board reorganization each January. Uh so first we have our election of board president. So I'll open
the floor for nominations. >> Are you willing to serve as president? >> Yeah, I think I can do another year. >> Then I will nominate you vice president. >> All right second. Okay. Uh all in favor? >> Opposed? Okay, motion carries. And next we will move on to the election of our board vice president which is currently Shelly. >> Still voting. Shel [Applause] sounds like >> take that as a yes. >> All right, then I nominate Shel and I'll second. >> All right. All in favor? I >> opposed. All right, motion carries. Uh, next we have our election of our board secretary. >> What better position for the new guy to spend than can not even having to move the seat that he sat down in tonight? >> That's right. That's right. Mike's old seat.
>> And if you would have some interest in learning more about the board, I think the secretary part is is a good place to start. um gives you some opportunity to see some things. Um maybe not quite as overloading as the presidency or vice presidency at times, but if you want to start to dip your toes into that would be a good spot. >> Then I'm going to nominate Jason as the secretary of the board. >> Second. >> All right. All in favor? >> I opposed. >> Okay. Motion carries. Welcome. >> Thank you. All right. Next, we have our appointment of reporter for our schoolboard meetings, which is Mrs. Lily Mitchell. So, we need a motion to approve. >> I'll make that motion to approve. >> Second. >> All in favor? >> I opposed. Okay.
Motion carries. Uh, next is establishing our meeting day and time for our regular board meetings. And we have stayed the second Tuesday of the month at 7 o'clock for a lot of years. So unless there's anyone who wants to throw out a different day time or has an issue with that, anyone has >> It's 7 o'clock unless we have board visitation day. Right. >> Right. Or sometimes our executive sessions. >> Oh, I think we're doing it in March. >> Okay. >> All right. So, um, is there a motion to to continue on with the second Tuesday of the month at 7 unless we have a special session? >> Make the motion. >> I'll second. >> All in favor? >> Opposed? Okay. Motion carries. We'll stick with our regular time. >> Okay. Next, we have our
approval of the agenda. And the only thing that we are doing under our second reading of our policies is um 5830 and 6320 we're just removing for the second reading. And um 6320 is one that we won't have to revisit because it's actually a policy we did not have um that Nola was suggesting was taken out. Um we don't have it so we won't have to worry about that one. And 5830 is one that we would like a little bit more time to work on. Um, so we will revisit that another month, but the rest of those will stay. So just those two changes to the agenda, unless I was missing something else. >> Okay. All right. So with that amended agenda and that part, then is there a motion to approve the agenda? >>
I'll make a motion to approve. >> I'll second. >> All in favor? >> I opposed. Okay. Motion carries. Next, we have the approval of our minutes. And this would just be from our December 9th, 2025 regular session. I think this is the first time in a long time that we've only had one meeting of minutes to to approve. So, hopefully you all had a chance to take a look at those and make sure that everything in there was correct. Uh any corrections or questions about the minutes that were sent to you? Okay. Then is there a motion to approve the minutes? >> I'll make that motion. >> Second. >> All in favor? >> I opposed. >> Okay. Motion carries. And we checked and there were no public comments. No one signed in tonight. So, we're
going to move on to the appointments of the committees. So, we have um let's see here. We have the policy development committee is first. So, uh, anyone just really dying to be on that committee want to just shout out your name right now, that would be fine. We will do three people on the policy development committee and three people on the negotiations negotiations committee sale policy. >> Okay. Thank you. Everybody >> I will too. >> Okay. Doug, Jeremy, >> I I can stay on if it unless someone's dying to be on. That's fine. >> Okay. Okay. So, right now we have um Jeremy, Doug, and Shelley continuing on on the policy development committee. Is there a motion? >> I'll make that motion. >> Okay. All in favor? >> I >> opposed. Okay. Motion carries. uh
negotiations committee. Um I will continue to stay on that if it's okay with if no one else wants to to jump in and take my spot on that. Um I know that was Ben and Mike and myself. So I don't know if anybody else wants to jump in on that committee and be a part of it. >> I will stay if there's room, but I don't have to. >> Okay. [Music] Okay, Jason. All right, >> you sound a really good question. >> I think that would be fine. >> Agreed. >> All right. So, Heather, Ben, Jason, um, is there a motion to approve the negotiations committee? >> I'll make a motion. I'll second. All right. All in favor? >> Opposed? Okay, that that motion carries. Uh, next we have the appointment of our treasures and
um we are going to just we're going to take this all together here. So, we have corporation treasure, Mrs. Don Cook, extracurricular Mrs. Susie Toner, Mrs. Cindy Jackson, Mrs. Michelle Cochran, Mrs. Candy Stsman, um, and Don Cook. So those those individuals al together there for appointment of treasures. Is there a motion to approve those? >> I'll make the motion. >> A second. >> All in favor? >> Opposed? >> Okay. Motion carries. Next we have our appointment of the designate to sign state and federal grants. And that will be um we have Mr. McClur down there for that. So is there a motion? >> Make that motion. Second. >> All in favor? >> I >> opposed. Okay. Motion carries. And next we have our appointment of representatives for our SEBT insurance trust, which that would be
Mr. Kevin Dyn and Mr. McCclur. >> Could I jump in on that one real quick? And this might be I maybe should have touched base with Arita. I have seen somewhere in a document that you were the alternate. Is that something that needs to be approved or that just if one of us is able to attend you're able to go? Is that anything we need to do formally do you think? >> Yeah. And then um has a proxy uh form that you fill out >> and there was something meaningful that just that one. [Music] >> Okay. Yeah. So we're okay then. >> Okay. Great. Thank you. >> All right. Is there a motion to appoint these two gentlemen for that position? That motion second. >> All in favor? >> Opposed? Okay. Motion carries. And lastly,
a very important position as our uh board attorney attorney, Mrs. Audrey Snder. So, is there a motion to approve Audrey for this position? >> I'll make a motion. So, she doesn't change your mind. >> I'll second. >> All right. All in favor? >> Opposed? >> Okay. Motion carries. >> Thanks, Audra. [Applause] >> All right. All right, we got through that part, guys. Now, we're going to move on to this the portion of our consent agenda for these items. Um, all right. First, we have our payment vouchers and our fund reports. Um, >> I'm going to start maybe one quick question. I I know that we've had some things kind of slide a little bit and we've gotten a little bit farther and farther from from getting those. Is there a way for us to get
those back on Friday again to give us an ample time to see those as that is my goal >> move forward? Okay. >> Yes. >> I know that some things had happened and came up and we had some and I understand that life gets in the way. It just makes it a little tough >> tonight to kind of be like here you go and say yes. >> I understand completely on that. That is always >> perfect. Wonderful. >> Do you have some of those items or Mr. or that you'd like to point out to us like bigger payments or something that you know that maybe you would be looking at new you know not sure about >> um there is and I don't off the top of my head have >> I have some if
you want me to read them all >> the email that you got is that okay >> that's what I was going to do >> yep we've got a couple of the big boy payments voucher 26097 on page 44 um that's our debt payments that are made twice a year we do that in June and December. So, you're going to see some large payments there. Um, we also have our insurance payment for our 2026 to Scraft. Um, that's voucher 2674 on page 38. Um, that's for our property and casualty and workers comp insurance for the district for 2026. Uh, three payments to WAN for our pool renovations. These should be close to, if not the final payments. That was voucher 26077 and 26114. Uh we've got one one two more vouchers. One more voucher on page
02153. That's to Sharp School Services. That was the new furniture for the 400 wing. Um one last large payment voucher 26092. Page 41 and 43. That's for Gordon Food Services. Turned out they didn't get a check that we had mailed them earlier in the year, the school year. sorry, Augustish. Um, and then catching up with November and December's um, bills to Gordon Food Service. Those would be our large payments that you would see that aren't on our normal voucher on typically on a monthly basis. Question [Applause] Maybe one quick question on the Wandi pool Renault. I know that that's been pretty much wrapped up for the most part. Do you feel like there's anything else that would be a surprise like large amount? I'm sure there may be some smaller stuff here and there, but
>> just some smaller stuff as we're involved in the season of making sure everybody is still there safe for our students and >> if no one's gotten a chance to see the pool renovation, it turned out fantastic. I encourage you to take a look at it. It looks awesome. Um, I do get a chance to talk to the swim coach and some of the swimmers and they are very grateful for the pool. Um, and it looks aesthetically it looks nice and and from a user standpoint it's really helped them with their being able to practice and host events and doing it. It does look like Adam. >> Okay. Are there other possible payment voucher questions or questions on refund reports? I know you just recently got that, so I don't know anything else besides what
Ben was listing. All right. Well, then we will move on in the consent agenda to uh B, which is a disposal of a title title one printer that's just lived its life and and is is moving on. I don't think there's any questions or clarifications on that one. Um, next we have contracts and the only one there tonight is with Stiffel. Um, this is the consulting service. They're helping us update a comprehensive financial plan and get ready for that 2027 budget. Mr. Mccclure or Don, do you have anything you'd like to add to that about the contract? >> Just my my quick comment on that. I just had the my first opportunity last week to work with Chad who was one of the representatives and he was just I thought did a really good job.
Uh very informative. So that was very helpful for me just kind of catching me up where we have been and and where we're at. Um, I also know he has volunteered to come sometime and maybe do a little training for you guys just to help you gain a little better understanding of some of those fund lines where that money's at. Uh, so I will work with him uh and you guys to try to find the best time to do that uh down the road here in the next few months sometime. So, but glad for that. I think that's was something that had been worked out prior to to my coming on board here, but my early impression is that'll be very valuable for us. >> Okay. >> All right. Next, we have the overnight and
out of straight out of state trips. And we just have one this time from FFA, the state milk quality judging contest at Purdue in West Lafayette. And that's February 13th and 14th that our students are requesting to go. And then we move on to uh maternity leaves and we have three of those requests. Um Mrs. Jenny Busy is one of our kindergarten teachers and then Mr. Lance Buzzy um our alternative education E2020 teacher. And the last one is Miss Taylor, special education assistant. So that is on our our consent agenda to approve those. We wish them the best in these new lives. All right. Resignations. We have Mrs. Shelley Hurst as transportation driver. Um and then Mrs. Amanda Peterson as cafeteria food prep position. And we have recommendations. We have two of those. Miss Nancy
Hershey for a first grade teacher for the remainder of our school year. She's taking she's she's taking that position. Um Miss Nancy Ray as a cafeteria dishroom uh worker. All right. Any questions or we we've come to the end of our consent agenda there. Any questions or I'm sorry, any comments too about any of the the recommendations or resignations? I should give people a chance if they would like to say anything. Um, >> I don't have much to say about maternity leave, but we are thankful to have Miss Casey for she's joining us. She's in her first grade classroom and super excited. The kids love her and >> maybe also just a shout out to Mrs. Grover who I think uh go a dramatic let you maybe speak a little more about that but just
did an admiral job filling in for us and has helped Macy with that transition as well. >> Yeah, I can't thank Mrs. Grover Randy Grover enough. She jumped in and she has done everything possible for the kids. She's done all the hard work um that a classroom teacher would do and all without expectation, all with absolute kindness and delight to do it. So, yes, great applause for what she's done for our kids. >> Well, we'd like to thank um Shelley Hurst and Amanda Peterson for their their service in those areas. And Shel's continuing on as one of our custodians, but just that transportation driver position and then um welcoming to our new our new recommended for this rest of the school year. Um that's the end of the consent agenda. So, if there are no
questions or clarifications, then we need a motion to approve. >> I'll make that motion. >> I'll second. >> All in favor? >> I opposed. >> Okay. Carried. Motion carried. Um approval of recommendations. Um these we are going to take separately. Uh we have some different coaching positions that have um come to light here. So, our first one is a high school softball JV coach, uh, Miss Lauren Sparks. Is there a motion to approve Miss Sparks for the high school softball JV coach? >> I'll make a motion. >> I'll second. >> All in favor? >> Opposed? All right, motion carries. Next we have Mr. Brody Shane as high school softball volunteer coach. Is there a motion to approve Mr. Shane? >> I'll make that motion. >> I'll second that one. >> All right. All in favor?
>> Opposed. >> Okay. Motion carries. Um next we have Mr. Bla1 Brooks as a high school softball volunteer coach and need a motion to approve. Mr. Brooks, >> I will make that motion. >> I will second. >> All right. All in favor? >> Opposed. Okay. Motion carries. Uh, next we have Mr. Jason Johnson, high school softball volunteer coach. >> Is there a motion? >> I will make that motion. You're on roll, Doug. I'll second. All in favor? >> I >> oppose. >> All right, motion carries. Next, we have Miss Alexa Brotherton and uh we're switching sports here, high school girls tennis volunteer coach. Is there a motion um to approve Alexa? >> I will make that motion. >> I'll second it. >> All right. All in favor? >> Opposed? >> Okay. Motion carries. And lastly,
we have Mrs. Megan Megan Ross Espinosa for our middle school assistant swim coach that new position that we uh created last week or maybe the month before. But um is there a motion to approve Mrs. Espinosa that motion? >> I'll second that as well. >> All right. All in favor? >> I opposed. >> Okay, that motion carries. Okay. Next, we have our updated then coaches rosters. So, we have our winter 2526 coaches roster and I think we have a couple of board members who are on that. Um, so is there a motion to approve the coaches roster for winter? >> I'll second. >> All right. All in favor? >> I opposed abstain. I >> Okay. And then we have our coach's spring 2526 roster and we need a motion for >> I'll make that motion.
>> A second. >> Can I just ask one question? I'm sorry. I didn't see um tennis, middle school tennis. I know it's more of a club. Does that not go on here? >> I did not hear the question. I apologize. >> Middle school tennis is not on there, but we have had that. But I don't >> It's more of a of a club more of a club and I'm going to assume that we will have at some point down the road was on there. >> Yeah, I think it was and we have sixth grade volleyball and that's technically not it's it's a >> that would need to be on there. We'll make sure that we look into that because that should be on >> I just saw today I should have said something earlier but
>> good catch. >> All right. Um, is there a motion or are there any other questions or anything that anyone saw on there that might need updated? Okay. Is there a motion to approve the spring roster, coach's roster? >> Second. >> All in favor? >> I >> opposed. Okay, motion carries. Uh, next we have our approval to forego reading the policies aloud. that this would be our second reading. Is there a motion to forgo reading those 11? >> I'll make that motion. >> I will second. >> All in favor? >> I opposed. Okay. So, next for our policy review. Last month, we went through these in in detail with Mr. Layman. Well, Mr. Mccclure was here as well. Uh but are there any that that you feel have been left with questions or as you
review them again like you want to discuss more? Um a lot of them were technical corrections but there were some that you know were a little more detailed changes that Mr. one went through. But anything that you guys would like to read that policy or go through it another time. Again, we will be working on the 5830 and the 6320 on the list is gone. >> And 58 student fundraising just in that might >> Yeah, I wasn't going I I know last month I went through and read each one. um allow like does anyone want me to do that? Did you want me to go through and read them again for the second time? >> Unless anybody has a specific question. Yeah, if anybody has a >> it's the exact same one. >> Mr. Wayne
did a nice job. I think pretty much explaining those like you've already mentioned that 5830. We'll need to do just a little work here. I need to do a little research uh just so I can bring that back to you guys to help kind of guide that decision on what that will be. But we'll hopefully be able to do that in February. >> Okay. All right. Um if there's not questions or discussions then is there a motion to um approve the policies that we have listed? >> I'll make that motion. >> I will second. >> All right. All in favor? >> Opposed. >> Okay. Motion carries. So we'll get those those will all get updated and then get to the website um for everyone to view all of those updates on those as soon as
we can. Okay, we are now to our administrator reports. So, um, Mr. Nola, >> all right. Um, we are off to a good start coming back from Christmas break. Everybody's settling in and and off off and running. Um, I do have just two things. Uh, just a reminder that next Monday the 19th, we do not have students. We will be having professional development all day that day. So, we're looking forward to getting our staff together to learn and grow. Um, I do want to keep uh the community and the board updated on the differentiated phonics core that we are doing starting at kindergarten level. Um, I want to compliment our teachers, um, our literacy coach, title interventionist, and that team because it has been a big project to try to completely coordinate across five classrooms
with curriculum, assessments, common language, um, and even how we're transferring kids from one classroom to another. uh to see 83 little first or kindergarteners go from room to room um and find their way with without any hassle um has just been a great thing. We've been doing it now two days been in the classrooms and um the instructors are already seeing that that gap um in learning has um lessened and so trying to meet those needs of students should come much more readily for everyone. So just thankful for that work that everyone is doing. Um and then hopefully we'll be able to push that up to try to meet kids with a much more appropriate um basic education in those in those skills. So that's really all we've got, but it's going well. >> Thank
you. >> All right, we'll move on to middle school and high school. Mrs. Hi, >> so I want to start. We um just received our AP school honoral progress report. And so just giving some information on our AP test from our high school. Um in the 25 testing season, we had 122 students take um one or more AP tests. We gave 220 AP exams here um over the over 12 courses. So that's a good number um of AP tests that we do in the spring. And to celebrate the class of 2025, they did earn a silver rating. um their college culture was silver, but then their college credits they earned was gold and their college optimization, meaning um that they showed that college readiness by taking five AP classes across their school year was at
the platinum level. Um so we just had a great um class of 2025 and we want to celebrate all of their work as well and the work of our guidance department um Mrs. Workinger is here and the work that it takes to give those 220 um exams to those students in the spring. um our eighth graders, our school counselors were in the classrooms today getting ready um for them to become our new high schoolers. They're doing their scheduling talks. This Thursday and Friday, we're doing our own CTE tours with them during SAP so they can see the programs that we offer here at Adam Central to make informed choices um and what they want to do in high school. And then our parent night is coming up on Tuesday, January um 20th, and they'll be
at 4:30 and 6:15. So, we're excited to work with our eighth graders as they're getting ready to go into high school. Um, we want to congratulate our high school wrestling team runner of finishers at team state duels last weekend and celebrate Kate Fischer who broke that three-point career school record on last Friday night at the girls basketball game. So, it's been an exciting time in high school. >> All right, Mr. McCor, we've come to your time report. >> So, just a couple things we would have shared. Honestly, I don't remember if it was a November or December board meeting about the teacher appreciation grant that typically you're probably going to hear that referred to as the TAG grant. Uh applications were due for that last week and we had 25 teachers apply for that. If
you recall, we believe we're going to be able to give out about 14 uh stipen awards for that. Uh so we're now kind of working through that process. the administrative team who will be kind of performing the evaluation of those applications is uh working on that over the course of the next week and here before the end of the month we will have have those identified um at some point down the road you guys will have privilege of uh approving those to make those payments that probably won't be until April or May till we get the money for that but uh appreciative of everybody that did apply for that and um so that's just a little change in how that has is works now versus how it did uh before also wanted to give just
a little update. Last Thursday, I went to the Monroe Town Council meeting and uh primarily number one just to to kind of hear what was going on at those meetings as I'm starting my new role here. Uh even though I've lived in town, I've never actually been to a town council meeting. So that was uh just important. But also specifically, I went because Mr. Jeff Soldner, who has presented to us a couple times, was there talking to the town. So that was the first time they had formally heard from him. Uh next steps in that process. Uh and and again make sure Mr. Gerber knows what we're referring here to there is the potential of putting a a a jet a literal jet out in front of the school with a veterans memorial monument of
some sort. Um is that I think Justin Schaper representing the town, myself or the school will get together with Jeff and just continue to progress. What are the what are the next steps? I know uh Audra acquaint I talked to him a little bit that night and I know he talked about you guys communicating just some of those legal things and we still had some insurance things we were kind of working through but uh we'll continue to keep you kind of apprised to what's going on out there. It's not a real fast process. Um uh but bottom line we'll kind of keep working through that. So still still gaining momentum. Um again I I believe correctly from from you guys. I've heard that we're very supportive of that project as long as we can kind
of figure out the details of that. So, we'll continue to uh to do that. And the biggest thing I think is the making the final determination who is the best entity, the school system or the town to actually make the request for the jet. Right now, it's kind of looking like maybe that's the town and then using our land and how we work out are we going to lease that land and and exactly how that looks, but that's kind of where we're at in that process. Still working through it. So, uh, I don't know if anybody has any additional comments or thoughts on that for me or before we move on from that. Okay. So, we we'll keep that ball rolling. Um, other than that, I just had a I guess just a kind of
a report on my first couple official weeks in the job. I just want to again thank all of you for for the opportunity to be sitting here and uh uh thank some of the administrators who are sitting here tonight and just uh uh just the staff. It's been a good first couple weeks for me here. I've just had a a chance to be involved in already a lot of meetings both locally and kind of statewide stuff through some superintendent groups. So, I'm uh slowly compiling a list of of all the things that uh uh need to be done and need to be focused on and we'll continue to to bring those to you. But I've enjoyed it and uh looking forward to uh to the opportunities ahead. And I'm I don't know if the students
will agree with this statement, but I've been glad I have not had to call a 2hour or three-hour delay or a cancellation of school yet. Uh, kids might not like to hear that. That was a popular question I was getting all fall was how many uh, delays and cancellations I was going to offer. So, the weather's been pretty good for us here the last couple of weeks as far as continuing with our educating of our students and hopefully that will will continue, but we'll see what that brings. So, it's all I have for tonight. >> Okay. Thank you. Um, board, is are there any others other matters that you would like to to share right now or Okay. So, our next meeting will be Tuesday, February 10th, um at regular time, 7. Uh our March
meeting is is planned to be our board visitation day where we will be here all day and then that would make our meeting start at 3:15 on that day. Um All right. I think we just need a a motion to I'll make that motion. I'll say it. >> All right. All in favor? >> I opposed. Motion carries. Thank you for all all of you for coming tonight.
