004continental she was a master at challenging her accelerated students yet always worked diligently with those students who struggled many students found that reading and writing were now their favorite subjects due to the positive energy and enthusiasm kathy brought to her classroom she truly knew her subject and found many wonderful ways for her students to demonstrate their knowledge kathy was part of continental's rich history of excellent teachers who spent the vast majority of her career at the same school continental was lucky to have her on his teaching staff her impact on children cannot be measured but she has left an indelible mark on many children's lives over her lengthy and successful as a fourth grader as a parent of a fourth grader who struggled with reading so i just wanted to add that in so let's
