001okay [Music] [Applause] hey okay [Applause] thank you for being here welcome to our first awards assembly of the school year and our last award is illegal be time to make sure we get things back to normal as much as possible and we want to thank all of you for your support your encouragement your patience throughout your school year and seventh graders [Music] [Applause] yours getting things done and we're here to celebrate your achievements so at the end of the workout we'll give you time to take pictures and take your children to the side around the gym and get all the control that you need okay that you want so we're gonna go ahead right now and we'll start with our teachers presenting some cult award [Music] so the cult for kindness this is going to
002really be kind responsible could be a lot of different things this is one of the most competitive students i've ever known uh in fact i heard this meeting [Music] question quiz because i studied for it but she's also so nice to all of your friends and even nice to meet you sometimes the kind year [Music] but the student is also very safe very fun to be around always has a smile on her face and that student is lily olsen up next we have our responsible quote of the year this this student is as has been an online student and he is always making sure he's on top of his stuff which as we all know is very difficult to do when you're when you're distance learning um always on top of the stuff getting stuff
003in on time making sure he communicates well with teachers making sure his teachers communicate well with him our responsible whole beer goes to great [Applause] and our seventh grade cult of the year goes to a student who is honestly super easy to teach good choices just seem to naturally come from a student always always always making the right choice always asking questions when she meets when she needs answers to those questions always helpful always friendly with her friends our seventh grade quote of the year is kayla already [Applause] so really quickly we had our builder's club last meeting today and um green valley always recognizes those students one from six one from seven and one and so today that individual was recognized by pastor steve um and this family just has been a she always
004goes above and beyond she does things without having to be asked so i would just like to call up very quickly miss juliana more than ever it was really important that we reached out to our community this year we did a lot of service projects and so we hope to see more kids come out next year so thank you [Applause] i think right now we're going to present thank you oh stay right here okay right now we're going to present our [Music] many of you are so excited to show all the work that you did on them so we're going to go ahead and announce those who placed of the sciencers so we have laina lincoln [Applause] and okay while we're getting that picture our next ones are going to be our ixl super users
005for 6th grade 7th grade 7th grade sorry okay so parents as you know iexpel is a program that we have that is a diagnostic assessment in order to close the achievement gap and also remediate so it's very important that if this summer your children are they need a born on what they can do then you can have them log into ixl right boys and girls they're such good sports and they're tired but we have access to ixl for the month of june on july 1st we will roll over for the next school year so boys and girls we are going to be giving an award for super users for june so and there may be some gift certificates involved some special gift cards for the super users for june we know that it's super hard
006to motivate middle school students so again boys and girls i want you to stay focused because you will be the leaders next year as eighth graders and we're depending on you to continue the good work of the students the current eighth graders that are in place now okay so we want you to keep working hard our super users for seventh grade [Applause] our amazing 7th of graders [Applause] um [Applause] foreign [Applause] andrew [Applause] [Music] nathan nathan [Applause] oh all right [Applause] [Music] [Applause] my camila garcia [Music] [Applause] i'm so happy that so we're so excited and proud of all of your achievements and as eighth graders we want to be able to be recognized and see that all of you are making an honorable again we want to thank our parents for all of your
