001My name is Sheri Baker and I'm a band director at Winburn Middle School. You'll be hearing from the Winburn Jazz Warriors performing Don't Stop Believing by Journey, arranged by John Barry. The Winburn Jazz Warriors are composed of Winburn Middle School students, grades 6 through 8, from band and orchestra. Students work on various styles of music such as swing, jazz, Latin, pop, and rock. They exemplify the windburn motto, watch windburn work. Many of these students will continue their education with jazz band in high school. Some of our former students have even gone on to receive college scholarships for their talent in music. So, in the jazz band, students help each other succeed through positive feedback and collaboration. Students are also learning skills such as discipline, self-expression, hard work, and perseverance. Music is such an important part of our students education, and becoming well-rounded whole individuals here in Faget County. We are so proud of the opportunities that we provide these students and of the results that are attained because of that. Please enjoy this performance of Don't Stop Believing by the Winburn Jazz Warriors. Hey, heat. Hey. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat.
