001I'd like to welcome everybody to the Clay County Board of Education special board meeting of June 4th, 2026, 5:00 p.m. Central Office. Call to order and roll call. Braxton? Here. Drew? Here. Cody? Here. Preston? Here. Sheriff? Here. Actions with discussion. Discuss or take action on timber harvest service bids for road project. Dr. Taylor. >> Okay. [snorts] Well, they opened them today while I was in mediation. So, uh Tiffany has a letter here says please find attached bids for timber harvest for road project. We recommend the bid be awarded to the following company. Kelly Tucker Jr. Recommendation is based on the highest bid. Copy of bids attached. His bid was 23,000. We have five bids total ranging from 7,500 to 23,000. >> [snorts] >> Mr. Carter, could you clarify that that's money that's coming to us?

004action on addendum for Healthy Kids Clinic 2026-2027. Mr. Bond? >> Uh that's just for our nursing contract. Uh every year they send us an addendum to update the nurses' salaries. Uh they reimburse us 100% for those salaries for all of our nurses. Uh and then we also get the elected services that we want to um adopt for the year which they provide medical, dental, and optometry services for us. Uh I would recommend that that we go with all those again this year. Um and I have copies in a red folder for you all and it also has the changes that are effective on June the 1st for some of those changes that we made. Um the only thing that's on there that we did not discuss at that last meeting was we needed to go back in and add a Reclaiming Futures, which is our drug court grant. It pays for summer and after school counseling sessions that are drug court mandated for those students. So, we just we added that line on there to kind of clean everything up. >> That's also
