001Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. car. Next thing is Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. That's nice. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. We got from the hospital. Heat. This is rock always. Heat up here. Heat up here. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Jesus. That's probably 280 280 Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. How many time this is what you need? So anyway, this is what they think about the consistency is that it's a little bit too much. So um Heat. Heat. They call their students outside going outside. I didn't realize things change over time. I didn't realize I know I mean I do realize that they're trying to build this year but you know what was the average people know right Heat.
002Heat. Heat. Okay. Now the hospital is crossing. Yeah. So, I mean, do they do they feel like there was a conflict in trying to get scheduling? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So, it is your Yeah. Heat. Heat. Yeah, it has been somewhat Heat. Heat. Heat up here. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat up here. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat up here. Heat. No, you're right. Heat. Heat. Heat. Oh, heat, heat. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat up here. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Okay. Of course. And our players disadvantage for Heat. Yeah. Heat. one time. I mean, did I dream this or did one time we played at two separate places? Sometimes they play over
003at Simple City and the course of the country club and then that happen. Heat. Heat. Heat. The high scores are in fact it is so hard to get people to Yeah. Heat. my own. That was one of the things Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Make sure you heat. You're still going to have people from from this time to this time is so Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. That was the last time. Heat. Heat. And and I know that he's not you're not going to have enough people to police and make sure that those courts are free for the hospital with all the other things that you Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Oh, I know. I started saying you're not supposed to go according to me. Hey. Is there anything else? I can remember back in the
004day I was sitting here and I mean you know that was even said she was but I mean I think that was the reason This time poison. Heat. Hey guys, I heard that in front Heat. Heat. So a little bit more information. So I start to remember the times they're ready for construction especially beginning of the year starting So that's so page Heat. Heat. until this place is taking place. You see there has been yellow and green. This is it. 67. Now on the next page operations into the area the lighter color is the ball. resist. I feel like minimal 60 minutes only 69 elementary and battery that is so policy. Yes. Yes. Our policy Yes. Now bringing of course to here really I don't personally feel like assist. So Russia for we of course
005Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Yes. instruction and you can see my level 68%. So that's the area where I feel like And I know you don't know 45 minutes in 45 minutes. Heat. Heat. Heat. It also means now also teachers have the ability to adjust that lesson. In addition to that, there are personalized instructions just based off of what they are based on. So lesson recovery. Yes. Yes. Elementary teachers really offer other teachers to come over if you want to if you were able to to observe and really appreciate city this year and we have the opportunity to meet other resources. So our last train Heat. Heat. Just working on that lesson standards and the lessons are available. You start seeing more and a lot of practice available. So that's what they talk about next year
006after all the same page how to do that. And nice thing is of Hey, This doesn't happen very often. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. pressure over here. All 950 costume. Heat. Heat. So I'm not as natural as but I will say that in that case and talking with a lot of districts different resources being used. You know what they learn resource all of those system. It's not something that's very Heat. Heat. I'm not secret. So the teachers teach the concept. Oh yes, the teachers are teaching and then they get on and practice. That's a very good question. So yes, that instruction discussed. So a big part of it is like a talk where they're really discussing the problems the kids are working it out and then the goal is kids are sharing the strategies that they're
007using and so yes there's a lot of and you'll notice on the front cover I had a picture of middle school classroom. So they're definitely working with hopefully I mean I feel like that's very important for kids to I know but you surprised sometimes you know I don't have time or you know Yeah. Heat. this growing up because I think that's probably more important right now like taking that student from kindergarten to see absolutely individual students and we we are able students about that but that's using those detail Now actually I think that's what we discuss Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. season. So, it's pretty busy right now. Uh we very concerned about pretty impressive. Uh other districts aren't as fortunate. I don't know what we do any different but some of them have position
008stay open all year long. Uh the biggest need we have here. But if you do know someone and have the bird this year can do something to drive buses, we're going to present a session on what does that look like if you're interested in driving the bus after hours. This is a large I expected this because we're getting that group of people that are just a few years old that I am that where they're all coming at one time. And I expect this year and next year large numbers. I won't be exact on this, but I would say we're anywhere from 25 to already. still waiting on a few that we think we u you know when it gets when it gets to that time and I actually fill out that email or paper and
009say I'm retiring that's hard because it is a lifestyle change. Um I would anticipate we just finished our new season so most of those funded positions so everybody we are we're getting good our student teacher population this year is phenomenal. Uh we have our student teacher awards that we'll present in student teacher of the year that we will present in April and April 14 and I don't and when you get that many nominated that's people that are stepping up saying these are great because it is one of our process, but one of our already Oh, right now currently I've already in class. Well, I say about ready to start. But I mean, how many do we have that are teaching? >> Yeah. And I mean that are in the program that we're grow your own.
010on your own program. students or not. And then we just had start opportunity to see your own and just this past year some of the teachers It's just because there's a lot of work that goes into you're very strategic to make sure that these are individuals who are potential That's right. Um so the other thing that the last thing that I have under human resources is the impact survey load you papers not you have to all but And then this last one they hand out to you. This is um a summary of all of those papers. Yeah. So, this is really tonight. That's right. Um, some this summary. Um, Brian has has really learned And you want to talk about this tool that >> Yes. >> So notebook if you're familiar with it's another tool
011that's available in your Google doc or in your Google. So you go in and once you put in all of our survey they give you a summary and it will break it down by schools whatever you want to ask and it only pulls from what you put in. So it's not like we go for example this is just the doctor that you put in. So we use it a lot procedures the manual specialation has been great very helpful um but that's what this this packet is. It's just kind of a summary. So I'm going to direct you to um the second page. I'm a I'm a graphics girl. I love colorful graphics. Um so this is just uh some positive outcomes noted from the survey results. Um the percentage is there of the positives. So
012staff leadership relationships 80% positive um autonomy and teaching 79% safe. Um and then um on the very back page, this one's a little busy, but um this takes all of like takes each category and has the schools ranked um based upon their percentages. So, I feel like this was a great um at a glance thing to look at and to see just to kind of note um some percentages as far as um completion of the survey. So, the way this works is you have one person in the building who is the coordinator. So, they get all the codes and then they pass a code out to each employee. Um every school does it a little different. Um but what happens is that that employee takes that code puts in to take the survey. Um and
013it on the percentages we had three three of our locations that had 100%. So those schools did it right um in in getting their staff members to do the survey. Greenman, Muenberg South, and then the Renaissance Center. Um obviously Renaissance area has fewer uh people but got 100%. So they um agreed to have 100% participation and then um our district participation was 84%. So still fairly yeah fairly good. um the lowest and it I'll tell you this seems to be the case in a lot of districts the lowest high school getting all of them survey but so those were I felt like some really good percentages as far as number to the survey all last year >> so it was December November December something that um by this past year. >> Yes, it's every other
014year that is taken. So, I'm looking at um on this page right here where it tells you what per question if you went up or went down. um on most on most days how enthusiastic. Yeah. What about being in school? Um which I'll tell you like this is a number we would love to see increase and which is why we're really working on student engagement. Um what are we doing to keep them engaged wanting to be very excited being school? Um really with our focus and with our work increase um if you look at as far as the district um this sheet right here talking about I always want to point out our highest performing areas which is staff leadership relationships and if you'll look um we an 80% favorable rating. But what I love
015is um that 91% where school leaders realize that people have lives outside of school and understand when challenges come up which I think is important. Yeah, absolutely. Um and then um an increase in perception of leadership effectiveness going up to 67%. So by those two high areas, one area um that we obviously see the decline we have every time we've taken this is the managing student behavior. Uh and I want to give you some uh figures from so I've got four four um survey results. So from 1920 21 22 23 24 and then 25 26 um our numbers on that percentage in 1920 was a 70% 2122 was a 73 well it's this but you don't have all of that I went yeah what I can do is make a copy for you all of
016those numbers. Yeah, this page like we went from a 70% in 1920 to now we're at 62% and that one has consistently gone down. Um, and I'll tell you that when I've met with teachers who've gone around and had meetings in schools, um, you know, they say and they don't even have an answer for it. Like they say, student behavior is at an alltime low or at a lot of trouble with student behavior. But then when you act, you know, solution suggestion is one of the things they say is it starts to come. We can't we can't control that, right? So we have to work with our control. Um, we really feel like we talked about PBIS, which is a whole school system, you know, teaching appropriate behaviors, reinforcing appropriate behaviors, retaching those behaviors, just
017being consistent and structured with that is so helpful. um you know it's not it's not and all of our schools do portions of PDI but to say that they are done consistently and systematically you know do consistently resources. So, we know what resources have. >> Yeah. So, I reached out to our principles to ask them um first of all, you know, how much money do you get each year? And that's different in each building. But then every one of them has said that if a teacher comes and says hey I need this they are happy to provide it and willing to provide it. The disconnect is and you know where if you see one of the questions where they use their own funds to purchase items um you know if they're at the Dollar Tree
018and they see items that they maybe want to use for activity they'll they'll pick it up. Now, is the Dollar Tree, you know, can you do a purchase order and and get it, you know, specific structured way? Maybe not. And I'm just using Dollar Tree as an example. Um, so sometimes the problem comes where teachers might be able to just pick it up and not go through the purchase order process. Um, which takes a little time to get there. Um, and that's what the principles were saying. They they saw a lot of teachers up because they're right there. They may get the teacher store and like, "Oh, I want this order. I'm going to get it knowing that they won't be as I mean I mean you Heat. Heat. I know I say this is
019not Yeah. Heat. Yeah, sometimes too much. I'm just kidding. I mean, I feel like they and I said that, you know, I can't I may not be able to give you an answer you like or I may not have a solution, but I'm here to listen. Um and so yeah, sometimes they are brutally honest and you know like let's just take for instance I hear that you know and I get it. I told them I understand what you're saying. Um you know so yeah I think they're very open and honest. Um I my first year here I did that um and had it where it was like some my second year I did um survey last year I just did a survey and this year I went back again to do in person this time
020it I made it here all day in this location anytime. So I didn't have as many as I did that first year, but I did feel like the ones who came and talk to me this year really had something they wanted to share. Heat. Heat. possible figure out what they're thinking of positive people whatever it something like something to sell. Yeah, we can do a survey and maybe ask what they are util what do they purchase with their own money which would be great because retired teachers every year in September do a school Heat. Heat. But anyway, they do drive every year and you know they get loads and loads of stuff. And I mean it's it could probably be more stuff than the teachers need than just what the teacher goes out. I mean
021or every time teachers go out. a lot of people will donate money to our so I think that I can get a list of what each school we'll send out a survey and ask them what they basically what items do they purchase with their own money and yeah I And I think that would be help to because a lot of times, you know, I mean, there's several classroom for years and years. you know, they buy things on sale or you know, but maybe it's not something all the resources. You dig into it and have trouble sleeping, you start reading some questions that they ask. A lot of times those questions if you go you go website all districts a lot of times resources and the reason is because you never have enough resources. Uh you
022could always have more like uh but I do think you can see what the big but resources and educating all students those are two categories that are typically lower in a lot of deals with how questions are asked Heat. Heat. I'm going to pay what what cuz it's not typically like school supplies. That's usually not what our teachers are spending their money on. It could be that is teachers teachers activity or you know something in addition to our supplies. Some of our schools, our PTOs are all schools and they have usually Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Now somebody could do that. Heat. Heat. by your own business falling down, you I guess when you're saying supplies, you're not really teaching that science experiment. And a lot of times you know something that you saying that you
023just really didn't have enough time. So like I was looking at um questions in this packet. So let's go one 2 3 four from the back. Looking at the bottom question, to what extent does the quality of the resources at your school need to improve? So that's a 40%. But quality of resources can mean something different to each person who answers that question. And I say that because when when I talking to people, one of the things that I heard every time every we need more people. Well, you know, and and like let's say for instance special education, they might say we need we need additional number, right? You hear it every time. Um, and what I told him every time when that comes up is if we took every building and every person who
024said we need more people and we gave the number of people every building said we needed we could not sustain because every building will tell you we need five or six or seven or eight more people which is not realistic. Um and like when you take special needs students, you may say we want more classes. Um again, you know, special education funds only there's only so much, right? And our district funds, there's only so much um and so that is also a difficult there's there's just no solution to that problem. So then um when you look at um trying to look at on the next page, how often do your school facilities need repairs? Um you know, so when you look at these, how much of your own money do you spend on your classroom?
02522%. Um when it says response favorably, that means 80% of the people 78% of people said they did not. Um, you know, so when you look at the way the questions are worded, sometimes resources aren't really like blue or paper and that's 85. Yes. So that's also but we want to be able to provide as much as we can and and that's that was the sentiment that I got from all the principles. if they tell me they need something. So, no one is turned away as far as, hey, I really have to have these. Okay. So right here really Um and I gave you all this paper, right? This this um also again if you want to kind of dig deeper, it goes into like the scale of the questions. So you know um learn
026a tremendous amount, learn quite a bit, learn some, learn a little bit. So you'll be able to dig a little deeper into the questions that way too because it breaks it each question as to how they what choices I have as far as answering. So that'll tell you just example of one school I feel like. So um the longest he looked at his results in the survey and decided to take the approach of okay here's you're saying here's a problem let's come up with a solution. So he created committees, adop committees and they met during our work day that afternoon. Those committees got together and really started trying to create action around some of those areas. So each school administration is kind of taking figuring out where our next steps increase resources. Yeah. Heat. But
027the real table is going to be resources. Yes. I think that is part of what we are sharing about. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Okay. By the way, parents of kids that are doing it. >> Um, and actually Carlo was going to look into the marketing to see if maybe So we are Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. one. I really didn't know I mean treasure it's not should college 2 years, 4 years professional. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Jason I know one way. Thank you.
