Yeah. Yeah. We'll go ahead and start. Um so I'll call our meeting to order and there's only one item to vote on and that is um to approve the school calendar committee. >> And then is Alex there or is he >> Yes, I'm here. >> Okay, there he is. I didn't know if it was a delay or what. [laughter] >> No. Um, do you have the list or >> I do and >> Oh, it was it was uploaded on the um KSBA. Do you want >> Do you have it where you can you >> I can read it to you too, Mr. Raider, if you want me to. >> Yeah, I'm Yeah, that's uh Oh, are you there? I thought I lost you. Okay, >> we got you. >> Okay. Um, so the list is
uploaded. Um, everybody has a chance to review that. He can read the names if you want him to. >> That's that's whatever. >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'll I'll just go over the rationale first and then I'll read the list to you if that's okay. >> Yeah, that's fine. >> So, uh KRS 158 uh 070 requires each school board to annually approve membership of the school district school calendar committee. Uh the membership of this committee meets the guidelines outlined. So the state gives us a kind of a minimum of the amount of people that need to be on. Over the last couple years, we've added a little bit to that just to make sure all the different school levels were represented. Uh >> but who we have on Hayes Browning is a principal. I'm the uh
central office administrator. Uh Miss Rager is our board of education member. Parents Tiffany Bastard, Lorie Cobb, Kristen Rice that represents elementary, middle, and high school. Kelby Newman is our elementary teacher. Our middle school teacher is Jonathan Wales. High school teacher is Mark Oaks. The Renaissance Center teacher is Ryan Groves. And then our classified Erica Dukes, Emily O'Neal, Norma Kinc Kate, Savannah Wales that represents each level plus uh Renaissance Center. Our uh community members Josh Smith, Martha Horn, and Megan Cheney. And then food service, tech, and transportation are represented by Rachel Nelson, Jarrett Moore, and April Smith. >> Okay. [clears throat] >> And that's a wide variety of people, but that would make sure that that everybody is represented. >> Right. Absolutely. >> So, I I recommend the Muenberg County Board of Education um will approve
the 2026 27 counter committee. Have a motion by Mr. Jar, second by Mr. Porter. >> All in favor of approving the school calendar committee, please say I. >> I. All oppose. >> I hear none. And we're down to adjourn. >> Hey, uh, Miss Rager, just a quick uh >> kind of rundown on how it'll work. We will meet, the committee will meet next Thursday, November the 13th at 5. uh I will reach out once I send an email out to the uh all the employees of who is actually on the committee. I'll let that committee know when we're going to meet. Um and then the November board meeting, we will discuss uh the calendar, maybe the couple options that we look at. And then the December meeting, we will look for approval of a calendar
and we will actually kind of break the calendar down monthtomonth uh during the December meeting and that keeps us on uh track of having a calendar approved before the new year. That's some feedback that we've received over the last couple of years that our non-school people like to have a a calendar in place before January just for their u vacations and things that are I guess put in place a year in advance, >> right? Yes. Okay. Sounds good. Sounds good. >> Thank you. >> All right. Thank you. And now I just need a motion to adjurnn. >> So moved. >> Have a motion by Mr. Porter, second by Mr. Johar. All in favor of adjourning, please say I. I. >> All opposed. I hear none and we are adjourned. >> Thank you. Tender.
