Okay. So, I will call the meeting to order. I don't need It's might as well say it's four o'clock. Um so, um we have with us today, um Randall, Randy Bar, Barard, Phil Cornet, Amanda Abramson, Phil Wait a minute. Phil Simon. Um, is Emily on? Emily is here, but for some reason, >> hi. >> I don't know how this setup is. Okay. Thanks, Emily. And we also have a couple of Don Vorners. So, [laughter] at this time, um, I need to have everyone aware that this meeting is being recorded by the city of Greenfield. If you are recording this meeting, please let us know now. Okay. Agenda number one is updates from the mayor's office. At this at the time of the posting, there were no topics. uh reasonably anticipated by the chair. >> Still

no topics from the mayor's office. >> Okay. Thank you. Moving on to agenda number two. We are um having a public hearing um for Verizon, a petition to install a utility pole near 116 and 120 Davis Street. public comment. Uh but no discussion or comments will be entertained unless requested by the chair of the board of licensed commissioners. So, um I'm not sure if I have to read all of it, but I um at this time I will open the public hearing and it is I'm not used to It's 4:04 p.m. Are any of members of the board wishing to have me read the whole Well, you can't see me anyway. Um, the whole thing. You've all got the packets. >> There's no need for you to read all of it. >> Thank you. I

was hoping that I would be able to just uh assume everyone read it. So, is there any uh member of the public here who wishes to um speak to the board about this? Okay. Hearing none, um I will >> Can you hear me? Okay. Clear. >> I can hear you now, Mr. Boner. >> Yes, Don Bonner for Verizon. >> Oh, okay. >> I hung up my other phone just I'm calling in unfortunately because of the snow. So, I wanted to have two means of getting into you folks. Um, one seems to be working just fine. So, >> all right. Thank you. Um, so since we have Oh, I haven't done a public hearing for a while. Um, I assume that since there's no public comment, I will close the the public hearing and it is

now 4:05 p.m. So, do I have um any information, Mr. Voner, that would be different than your application states? Uh, probably not, but if you'd like, I can give you a quick overview so you can have something of substance to vote on. >> That would be good. Thank you. Um, so, uh, normally what I would have done is I would have, uh, visited the site beforehand, uh, so I could give you a a firsterson, uh, view, but instead I'm just going to have to give you what I know from all the drawings and engineering plans I've looked at, as well as the petition that you have in hand. Um, >> thank you. So, I can tell you that at the site um there is an old tree uh long dead in front of 120 Davis.

Um and unfortunately the way they used to do it in the in the early days was they used to um attach guy wires, support wires uh for the utility poles and they used to attach them right to the tree not realizing that um it would be somebody else's problem you know 50 60 years down the road. Um so that tree is now long gone and the person I assume at 120 would like to get rid of it. Um and but to do so, um the pole line, as you can see on the map, this Davis Street kind of curls around a little bit around uh what is it? Pole uh 13. Um so because it curls, um it's pulling the pole towards 119 Davis. Um, and we need we need that guy wire to support

the pole on the other side of the street. Um, so rather than have it on the old dead tree, we need to put a new pole in place. It's called a stub pole. Uh, and that's its main purpose is to support the existing pole line and to keep it safe uh from going um and and pulling and twisting and turning into the other properties. Uh so that is the my general overview for why this is being requested. Um and I would certainly entertain any requests you have. I do remember passing by that dead tree often. So I can understand how there is a need to make a proper support system. >> Randy. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Can we just make a motion? We're >> Yes. Okay. I'll make a motion that we accept the

application for the relocation of the telephone pole on Davis Street. I'll second it. >> Point of clarification. It's not a relocation. It's a it's a new pole being placed uh to replace the the dead tree. Okay. I'll make a motion that we accept the application for the replacement of a new pole on Davis Street. >> And I will second that. So with that clarification of the first motion made um we will set that one aside and in um favor of the current uh motion is there any discussion hearing none I will call the role. So, uh, since Brandy, you're up there, I can see you. >> Yes. >> Your vote. >> And Phil, >> yes. >> And Emily, >> yes. And Amanda, >> yes. >> So, it's a unanimous vote. Thank you, Mr. Voner for

being with us today and helping us understand uh the need. >> It's my pleasure, folks. Sorry I couldn't be with you in person, but appreciate you. >> None of us are in person except right here on video. >> All right. Cheers. Thank you. >> All right. Okay. Moving on to uh addendum number three. Just the name hospitality doing business as the Victoria Bar entertainment license at four Chapman Street. Do we have someone who um is with us from I would say not >> Phil Simon's here. >> Oh, we can't hear you. >> You can't hear me? >> No, Phil Simon. Oh yeah, I don't see I don't see >> but we can't hear him. >> Hello. Hello. >> We can hear you. >> Fantastic. Sorry about the technical delay. Phil Simon from Just the Name

Hospitality and Fort Chapman Streets Victoria Bar established 1933. >> We hear you. Have I made contact? >> That's good. Um, yes, you have. Yes, >> I I am in the Victoria bar, so my ability to hear you is limited by bar chatter. >> I can relate to that. Um, >> yes. >> Trying to keep my house quiet right now. He wants an entertainment license. >> Yes, please. >> Well, that's that's what uh the request is on our agenda number three. >> Excellent. >> So, um I'll entertain a motion. >> I'm happy to answer any questions that people may have. We're looking for just ordinary entertainment, things like karaoke and to be able to publicly advertise that we're throwing an ugly sweater party for the holidays, chili cook off, trivia, that kind of thing. >> Thank

you. >> So, can I just make the motion that we grant them the entertainment license at the Victoria Bar? Do I need to say their address? >> Four Chapman Street. for Chapman Street in Greenfield for >> trivia nights, game nights, maybe karaoke, things like that. >> Yeah. Sip and paint. >> Yeah. >> We're going to do some makeup and hair parties. >> Yeah. >> You know, bar stuff. >> I'll second that. >> All right. So, we have a motion on the floor to grant an entertainment license to uh just to name hospitality doing business as the Victoria Bar at four Chapman Street. Um >> I'll second that motion. >> Yeah, it's been seconded. Thank you. And um is there any discussion >> hearing? None. I will call for your vote. Um, Randy, >> yes. >>

And Amanda, >> yes. >> Phil, >> yes. >> And Emily. >> Yes. All right. So, it's unanimous. >> Good luck. I'm sure everything will go well. >> Thank you. Come be entertained and enjoy a beverage. [laughter] >> All right. I wish that my video was working. I don't know. I'm on my laptop, but it's I can't can't get it pulled up. >> We will accept you in person at Fort Chapman Street anytime. >> Thank you. >> Much appreciated. Thank you. Goodbye. >> Goodbye. >> Bye. And so, um, the only, uh, items on the agenda have been covered. And so, we need to, uh, accept the the minutes from our November 18th meeting. I'll make a motion to I'll make a motion to accept the minutes from the November 18th meeting. >> Second that motion. >>

Any discussion? Hearing none, I'll call the role. Uh Randy, >> yes. >> And Amanda, >> yes. >> And Phil, >> yes. and Emily. >> Yes. >> Right. It's unanimous. And I believe that covers everything. Um so, um this is Phil. I gave um Lori permission to use my stamp for signatures. >> Okay. So each of us uh should schedule a time when we can stop in at uh at the office at city hall to sign all those many or um allow the use of our official stamps. So get in touch with Lori. All right. >> Motion to adjurnn. >> I second it. And we are adjourned at 4:17 p.m. >> Thanks everybody. >> So I thank you. I'm glad everything's going well. Stay safe if you have to travel. >> Thanks everyone. I appreciate you

guys logging on virtually. >> Thanks everyone. Sorry I didn't have my camera on. I got stuck in safe driving mode. I can't figure it out. >> I can't figure it out either. So, [laughter] >> all right. Happy holidays everyone. >> Thank you. >> Bye.
