001Good afternoon and welcome to the select board meeting of January 15, 2026, 2 p.m. in room three of town hall. We do not have any public hearings. We do not have any scheduled appointments. Uh town administrators, >> I do not have a report, Mr. Chairman. >> We do not have any old business, new business. The town administrator concerning the approval of a town meeting more. >> Yeah. Before you is a special town meeting warrant looking to schedule for February 9th. It is a one article warrant uh dealing with property located on park terrace, more specifically six park terrace. Um and the article would seek to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds uh money to be utilized to either acquire by purchase or by eminent domain that particular property. Goes on to include uh
002uh monies for purpose of de demolition. um or any building or structure um and to authorize the select board uh to acquire said property or purchase all by eminent domain. So select board will be in charge again one article town meeting warrant um and that's what we have. Okay. Do I have a motion? Um motion, Mr. chair that uh I move that the select board approve the warrant article for the upcoming special town meeting on February 9th, 2026 that would authorize the town of Milford to consider acquiring the property at six park terrace by purchase or eminent domain or whatever available funds would be available.
