You know, if I had one big takeaway these four years, it was Magic Johnson telling me to go to school every day with the same video every year. Every day your average student struggles to get out of that ever so comfortable bed. And it's a miracle I even made it here. So, I want to take this moment to appreciate my teachers and coaches who've guided me here and dealt with my daily shenanigans. I also want to thank my friends and classmates who make school fun and disrupt the school environment along with me. Lastly, my family who raised me since I
010was just a baby. They're some of my biggest supporters and I wouldn't be here without them. Today, however, isn't the end of something, but rather the start of something new. As graduates of Apollo, we are intellectuals never taught to perfectly fit into any space we go. We are individuals who will construct our own paths. I have been taught to never forget the immeasurable value of self- belonging. For teaching me the importance of creating space where you're meant to be. An Arizona native and 25-year resident of the district, he and his wife Gail are proud parents of four children, three three who have graduated from Sunny Slope High School, with their youngest set to graduate in 2026. As an owner of a consulting company, Mr. Yulan has over 30 years of experience supporting Arizona's public schools through volunteer work, community committee leadership, and advocacy for school funding. and he served on several boards including the business Arizona business education coalition, Arizona racing commission and masters of coin. Mr. Yulan enjoys family activities and participating in local running events in his free time. He has completed over 75 half and three marathons.
