003guests who are joining us today and we be handing out diplomas first is governing board member Patty Kennedy Miss Kennedy is a dedicated member of the Glendale Union High School District Community was elected in November of 2010 having graduated from Moon Valley High School she shares a strong connection with the school as her two children and several other family members also attended Patty generously dedicated ated her time as a volunteer for Moon Valley's theater program apart from her active involvement in the educational realm she is an Ardent Gardener with a special passion for cacti leveraging her extensive experience as an accountant Patty has served as the CFO for a local Law Firm bringing her financial expertise to the organization the second guest of honor I'm happy to introduce is a superintendent of the Glendo Union

015alikum salam alaikum to the class of 2024 my name is Leila I wanted to start by giving my thanks to my family I wanted to say and to my teachers for putting up with my special personality when I made some absurd comments I also wanted to mention about those late nights we stayed up doing homework and watching TV I'll be honest High School is a tough path but it brought to mind a quote by John Mir that goes and into the forest I go to lose my mind and find musle everyone has to search for their purpose and start their Journey this was the start of mine these past four years were not straightforward and there were many twists and turns but we should be proud for making it through these years I will never
016forget the memories of making silly jokes or receiving a coffee filter for some of the absurd things I've said these memories will always last as we depart and open a new chapter in our lives and no matter what path we take we will find a way through high school is what will make us go through these next years teach teaching us the hardships that we will endure whether you choose to go to university a college and to the Army or even the workforce you built the foundation to reach that point these foundations we built are vital to who we are and we built them in these four years we are going to Endeavor through difficulties but if we have a passion go through with it and make it through these dark paths finding our own
