003of 2024 today as We Gather to celebrate the end of our high school journey I am overwhelmed with gratitude and Nostalgia first and foremost I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our teachers your dedication patience and guidance have shaped us into the individuals we are today from the early morning lectures to the late night grading sessions your commitment to our education has not gone unnoticed to my parents whose unwavering love and support have been my rock throughout this journey thank you your sacrifices and encouragement have fueled my determination and inspired me to reach for the stars to my friends who have been my second become my second family thank you for the laughter the late night study sessions and the countless memories we've shared from navigating the H as freshman to Conquering the
004challenges of virtual learning your friendship has been a constant source of strength and joy reflecting on the past four years I can't help but look at how far we've come High School much like life itself wasn't always smooth sailing there were moments of Doubt moments of fear but through it all we persevered we discovered our passions embraced our differences and forged lifelong friendships along the way as we stand on the threshold of a new chapter poised to embark on our individual Journeys I I urge you to embrace the unknown with courage and curiosity whether you're pursuing higher education entering the workforce or charting your own path remember that the Lessons Learned Within These Walls will serve as your compass in navigating the road ahead to my fellow graduates I leave you with this cherish the

006graduate Miss Reich has been an education Advocate and a volunteer in the community for over 20 years thank you for joining us this evening also with us this evening is Miss Kim msk Miss msk is executive director of Comm relations for the glendell Union High School District thank you for being here miss mosquita Moon Valley High School confers its highest academic honors by designating the top 1% of the graduating class I'm pleased to present the three students who hold the highest academic ranking in this class of 264 members these students will graduate tonight with the highest distinction wearing a gold medallion I ask them to please please stand as I call their names ad Rodriguez Vargas Gloria Mal and Adalie WN these students have combined GP at 4.96 and are in the top 1% of

009wondering when it finally be my turn to walk the stage let alone write a speech for most of us we have looked forward to this moment and now we are here however the phrase I am looking forward to andeve the truth we often find ourselves yearning for what lies ahead rather than bracing the present moment during the summer if someone were to ask us what are we looking forward to we were most likely to respond with graduation in all of those moments we have thought about this exact moment now if someone were to ask us we would either give a Blank Stare since we don't even know ourselves let's be honest most of us are not really looking forward to adulthood now it gives us a chance to embrace the last time most of us
010will see each other without thinking about what lies next it is a time to celebrate our achievements and say goodbye to lifelong friends yet I want someone to realize that the future is not something we walk into it is something we create each person has their own idea of success and we all have the power to work towards our own goals who knows many of you guys will be successful in life high school is only the foundation of our lives so we should not lay our high school grades friendship or hardships to find or to tear us from our future career to end it off thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way I'm excited to see what the future holds for every one of us once again congratulations now I would

013graduation problem is when you spent the last four years of your life with your nose stuck in a textbook crafting a riveting speech from nothing becomes an insurmountable Challenge and well I wouldn't be standing here in front of you today if I was someone who shied away from challenge Challenges ever since I was little I have never been good with words so I did what I do best in start researching I scoured the Internet for ways on how to write the perfect graduation speech my conclusion there is only one way to write a speech and that is to simply just start after all you can't go anywhere if you don't take the first step and while I personally plan to go to ASU and study biochemistry I know each one of us are pursuing a
014path unique to ourselves even so I'm proud to be taking this first step with all of you today of course I wouldn't be standing here today without the support from the people around me so I'd like to thank my wonderful friends old and new for making each mundane moment Shimmer in a way I never thought they could my most cherished memories are those spent tucked away in welcoming classrooms idly passing the time with all of you as we wait for the first Bell of the day to ring I would also like to thank my mom and dad d da ba um and the rest of my family for taking care of me and loving me even on my worst days gong lastly I would like to thank my teachers for nurturing my love for learning
