Good afternoon. Wow, we're so excited for our first ever participatory budgeting presentations to the cabinet and to the governing board. My name's David Lotsonheiser, I'm the superintendent and what a fun way for us to celebrate the next step in this process. We know it's not done. We know the process is done when everything's back out on your campuses and what you guys have voted for and all of the hard work. So, couple of thank yous that I want to shout out. First, I want to thank Mr. Armstrong for leading this from the district office. Will give him a round of applause. Thank you, Mr. Armstrong >> [applause] >> for moving this through. Second, I'd like to thank all of the advisors and people on campus that led the small groups and led the led the
student leaders and allowed the students to take charge and move forward. So, if you're one of those people, would you just stand and be recognized? Let's give them a round of applause, all of the leaders. Couple little ground rules. We got 5 minutes per group, so we're going to be hustling through pretty quick. I am going to ask that in the audience you guys do your best very best to pay attention and to make sure we're quiet and give all the respect and due to the groups that are up here at front. Mr. Armstrong's got a few words to say and then we are going to get rolling. Yes, thank you, Mr. Lotsonheiser. We're super excited. So, the way this is going to go, um, sponsors, I know you've seen probably 40 or 50 emails
about this, so I appreciate the support. We're going to have the schools, they're going to line up along the back or along my left, your right. It's in alphabetical order. We're going to go ahead and start with elementary schools, then we're going to go into middle schools, then we're going to go into high schools. As Mr. Lotsonheiser said, we have about 5 minutes per presentation. When your campus is done presenting, you're going to walk around behind me and go back to your seat. There is one ask I have of everyone. Please stay for all presentations. This part of the process is one of the most beneficial parts for our kiddos to get up and present to such a large group of individuals. So, if I can ask, please stay. Okay? Couple of shout-outs though that
I need to make sure I address. We have This process is sponsored through the Center for the Future of Arizona and Arizona State University. And we have Carolyn Thrasher in the back who's with the Center for the Future of Arizona. If we can give her a huge round of applause. She supports all schools and all school districts who have this process implemented within their district and is Dr. Bartley here yet? Okay, so we also have Dr. Bartley. She'll be showing up as well. All right. Are you guys excited? Here we go. Mr. Glover's smiling ear to ear, so we're ready. We're going to go ahead and we're going to start with Bridges. After this point in time, Bridges, come on up. After this point in time, it's going to be all students and sponsors, I'm
going to need you guys to facilitate your groups. So, the next group will line up over here to my left, the on-deck group, and we'll move it in the back. Are you guys ready? All right, here we go. All right, microphones on. You guys go ahead and start. Good afternoon. We are representing Bridges Elementary. My name is Cruz Garcia and I'm the vice president of student council. We will be talking about the school participatory budget. Hi, my name is Cole and Tanenbaum and I am the treasurer in student council. I'm in fifth grade. I'm also in a lot of other clubs like steam club, choir and trash can band. Hi, my name is Charlie. I'm secretary of student council. I'm in fifth grade. I am also in cheer at Bridges. We collected ideas from every
single student at Bridges, kindergarten through sixth grade. We wanted every student to give an idea for the school. After we collected the ideas from the students, we moved into the proposal development. In this stage, we met as an our officer committee and we went through the different proposals from all the different grades. We also have to get Mr. Bickel's approval in order to do this. After the great ideas submitted from the students, we picked our top five. The first one was, um, chess. Chess is a giant chessboard. Chess is very popular at Bridges. We even have a chess club that meets every week. Many students asked for an outdoor chessboard to play at recess time. Our second one was funnel ball. Many students also asked for more activities or other options at recess. Funnel ball
was an idea that we found, uh, in our idea collection phase. This game is easy to play and doesn't require much room. A highly requested item, especially from our older students, is a drinking fountain with a filter. Many students wanted better tasting water. We are still We are hoping that a filter will improve the quality quality of water for all of our students. Voting day took place on February 20th. Students in grade kindergarten through first grade voted on a paper ballot with pictures. Students in grade second grade through sixth grade voted using electronic ballot. And the winner is drinking fountains with filters. We announced the winning proposal on our yearly variety show and the next day on the morning announcements. We could hear the students from every single classroom. It was a really loud. There
was an earthquake practically. >> [applause] >> Wait, wait. I thought we're not We're not done. Okay, we're not done yet. I thought this was a great experience because we took students' ideas and we turned them into something new for the school. Thank you, school board members and district leaders for your time. >> [applause] >> All right, guys, go ahead. This way, this way. Okay, I'll go. Hello, my name is Michael Kilgore and I'm the student >> council vice president of the Centennial Cardinals. I am in fifth grade. Hi, my name is Reese McCare. I am the student council treasurer and I'm also in fifth grade. Hi, my name is Remy Payne and I am your student council office manager at Centennial Elementary and I am your office manager. Hi, we're the um, hi, we're the
Centennial Cardinals. Um, uh, how we processed our ideas were we wanted everyone to um, uh, our budget to be reflect everyone every student's ideas. So, we put idea um, suggestion boxes, posters, um, all throughout the school so that every grade could, um, participate in our voting. Once we decided that we were going to spend our money, we took time and met with our principal, Ms. Day, and we, um, all, um, shared our ideas and brainstormed about every idea we had. Our first option was 3D printer noise canceling headphones. The 3D printer could help people be creative and have a lot of fun. The noise canceling headphones were so that some kids could if it was too loud in their class, they could have some quiet time. Our second option was a custom door wrap. A
custom door and window wrap would transform our school environment by creating a welcoming, vibrant space that reflects our pride and identity. Eye-catching designs on the doors and windows could highlight our mascot, school values, and student artwork, or inspiring messages, making every entrance feel special and inviting. A custom wrap would also build school spirit, create a stronger sense of belonging, and showcase what our school what makes our school unique to visitors and families. Our last and final option was playground and sports equipment. This would be a great option because it could help students get their energy out at recess and lots of students wanted to be able to have some new things to be able to do at recess and it also helped build student strength, coordination, and confidence while developing important social skills. Vote day.
Vote day was a super fun day and second grade and under got paper ballots and then fourth third grade and up got to vote on computers. It was super fun because we got to get every single vote from every single student and then we finally made our decision. And the winner is a 3D printer and noise canceling headphones. Thank you so much for watching and listening to our presentation. >> [applause] >> Hi, I'm I'm Maddie and I'm the sixth grade representative. Hi, my name is Mariah and I'm a fifth grade vice president. Hi, I'm Aliyah and I'm the fifth grade treasurer. Hi, I'm Harper, your sixth grade student council president and we're the proud Chaparral Sharks. We have some ideas. We did the bathroom stall wraps, the window wraps, the tetherball, and some picnic tables
for the upper grades. Our proposal developments and what we thought of to do. One of our visions was to get a tetherball on our playground so students could take their energy out and have more games to play at recess. Second, we did window wraps so our cafeteria didn't feel so plain. Third, we did bathroom stall wraps to prove that to show that the bathrooms are nice and clean and organized and it shows some proudness of our school. Um our vote day. Our vote day was on February um 13th, 2020 Well, yeah, it was on February 13th and we um voted. Um the winner is tetherball. Thank you. >> [applause] >> Thank you. Good afternoon. I'm Hayes Washington, a sixth grade student at Coronado Elementary, and we are here to share about Coronado's SPB process. Hi,
I am Madison Hyde and I am in kindergarten. Each [snorts] class work worked hard to um [snorts] share ideas. Share ideas. I'm Adeline Stertini. I'm in fifth grade. NHS collaborated with representatives from all grade levels to summarize the classroom brainstorms. We chose the five most common ideas and created project proposals. I'm Logan Naceo and I'm in fourth grade. Project one was called STEMtastic Explorers. This project includes robots and other STEM tools that could be used to incorporate coding and computer science into each grade levels levels curriculum. Hi, I'm Titus Washington. I'm in fourth grade. Project two was called Ultimate Recess Remix. This project provides sports and recess equipment like gaga ball pits and new playground balls. Hi, I'm Reese Monroe and I'm in fifth grade. Our project third project was called Coyotes in Key. It
included two new xylophones and a whole set of ukuleles for the music room to use. Hi, I'm Jordan Jocks and I'm in fifth grade. We had a very successful voting day at Coronado. Each grade level entered the library by scanning their voter ID. SPB committee members ushered voters to the booths to cast their votes. Our winning Our winning project was Ultimate Recess Remix. We can't wait for this playground update. Thank you for your time. >> [applause] >> Good evening, governing board members. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to speak with you today. We are excited to share the work we did as part of our student participatory budgeting project. My name is Sia Saban. I'm Claire Hartman. I'm Ivory Crosby. I'm Danica Garcia. I'm Cruz Costa. I'm Atticus Tate. And I'm Weston Baird. We
started the SPB process by gathering ideas from every classroom from kindergarten all the way to sixth grade. Each class created a circle map of project ideas. Students were encouraged to dream big and think about things that would help our school community. Once all the ideas were collected, our SPB team sorted them into categories. We tallied how many times each idea each idea was suggested so we could see which ones were the most popular. After reviewing everything, we narrowed it down to the top 10 ideas. After that, we researched the estimated cost of each idea. Our goal was to choose projects that our school could afford within the $5,000 budget. Based on the pricing and student interest, we narrowed the list down to the top three ideas. The final three projects students voted on were a
volleyball court, a pickleball setup, and an obstacle course. These are the ideas that students felt would make a big impact on our school and received the most votes. On February 13th, every class came to the student voting room to cast their vote. To make sure everything was accurate and fair Wait. Students even got an I voted sticker just like in a real election. It was exciting to participate in a process that felt so official. Our SPB committee counted every ballot carefully and double-checked the results to make sure everything was accurate and fair. It was a great learning experience in responsibility and teamwork. And the new project was a new volleyball net. Students across the school were really excited about this choice. Thank you for listening to our presentation. This project taught us so much, like
how to take responsibility, how to help our school community, and how to create activities that make school more engaging for students. We also learned about the civic duty of voting and that it's okay if the idea we voted for doesn't win because [snorts] every voice still matters. We are proud of our work and grateful for the chance to make a positive impact on our school. We hope you are just as excited as we are for the new volleyball net. >> [applause] >> Hi, my name is Layla and I am the president. Hi, my name is Ares and I'm vice president. I'm Zoe and I'm secretary. Hi, my name is Ali and I'm the member at large. Hi, my name is Trudy and I'm the treasurer. Hi, everyone. Thank you for having Gateway Point here today.
We're excited to share our participatory budgeting project for this school year. As you all know, this is a process where we got to share ideas and vote on how money is spent at our school. First, we collected ideas from students across the school by going to their classrooms and getting student input. Everyone had a chance to share what they thought would make our school better, more fun, and more welcoming. Next, we turned the best ideas into detailed proposals. We thought about cost, how each idea would help students, and how it could actually work at our school. We even called vendors and spoke with their sales teams to get quotes and learn about the process. One of our ideas was to improve playground equipment for recess. Our vision was to make recess more fun and active
for everyone. We wanted to add things like soccer balls, basketballs, jump ropes, hula hoops, and kickballs so more students could play together. We also thought about adding cones and games for students who like to create their own activities. We would include safe storage so the equipment doesn't get lost. Our vision was to make our school feel more welcoming and full of pride. A window wrap outside the cafeteria with our school logo and colors would make the building look bright and exciting. We also want to expand the existing wrap in the front of the school as well as many wraps around each courtyard entrance. It would help students feel more proud of our school and help visitors navigate our campus. This would bring more school spirit and make our campus look fresh. After we presented both
of our approved ideas at a school assembly, 589 students voted for their favorite project. Our school's election day was on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026. And the winning project was window wrap. >> [applause] >> 374 students voted for the window wrap. And 215 students voted for the sports equipment. The window wrap was the project students voted for the most. We are excited to bring this idea to life and make our school even more welcoming and full of pride. >> [applause] >> Hello, I'm Jayden and I'm the student council treasurer. I'm Joy and your student council president. Hi, I'm Tatum and I'm student council vice president. I'm Owen, the student council PR. Hi, I'm Kendall. I'm the secretary. Student council ran the SPB. We had 40 students collaborate and we used our meeting time to vote. We
narrowed it down to five ideas. One of our ideas were to wrap the gym to make our school look better for assemblies, which we added to the fun this year and families. Another idea we had was to fix the mount for the Higley bell because we think it is an important piece to our district. Our third idea was to replace the gravel pit with turf to allow students and teachers to use it for read alouds and other activities. We held our vote on February 6th and for the vote we had the younger kids vote on paper and the older kids vote on a electronics. And the And the winner is Wrapping HTA. Which we which we announced at our most recent pep assembly. >> [applause] >> Hello, my name is Jazlyn Bottomfield and I am
in sixth grade and I am uh part of the steering committee. This year our school took on the challenge of of the school participatory budget creating ideas that will beautify our school and make our school even better. My name is Jim Smith. I'm a fifth grade student in our Power Ranch steering committee. We first brainstormed ideas that would help our school campus and we narrowed it down to three ideas we agreed upon. Hi, I'm Lacey Wright. I'm in sixth grade and I was part of the steering committee. Members of the steering committee broke up into five different groups for each proposal to decide how to promote it. Members of the steering committee decided to create videos to share with the whole school. We thoroughly explained our proposals for the younger students in the videos. Members
of the steering committee also created posters to hang up in the cafeteria. These were our five options. Hi, I'm Emily Sexton. I'm in sixth grade and I'm part of the steering committee. The first of three options was playground power up soccer goals. This vision was adding goalie nets to the playground would make recess more fun, active and inclusive. Goalie nets would allow more students to play soccer safely, practice skills and work together through teamwork and fair play. Hi, I'm Eden Randall, a sixth grader and part of the steering committee. One of the top three projects was Chillville. The student vision was that it's so hot in Gilbert, Arizona, student council thought it would be a good idea to put a misting system around the awning in the front of the school where students wait for
parent pick up. Additionally, the budget allowed for portable misters as well. The vision Another top proposal was Together We Play. The vision for this was for students to have recess equipment such as new basketballs, footballs, kickballs, as well as games for students to play. Hi, I'm Emmy Hill. I'm part of the steering committee at Power Ranch Elementary. After the students knew all the options we had an assembly in the gym. The assembly was our present Jazlyn giving our Panthers a quick recap of the options and what they could benefit our school. After the assembly, the students went back to class and voted on Google Forms and picked their favorite. Then the winner was chosen. My name is Kenley Bottomfield and I'm in fourth grade and part of the steering committee. And it was time to
answer the big question. Which proposal was the chosen one? And the winner is TOGETHER WE PLAY! STUDENTS WERE EXCITED for this because it adds better variety of options for students to choose during recess. Before Before we say a big thank you, uh as part of the school the steering committee, I'd like to uh share that we truly appreciate Oh, wait, never mind. Uh I enjoyed listening to the wonders and questions into the creation of the SPB project. Everyone in the student council has a different preference and we made everyone feel involved and we made sure everyone's palette was full of great decisions. And uh we truly appreciate the time that you have taken out of your day and uh to attend this uh board meeting and we would we really really appreciate uh you guys
coming here. Thank you. >> [applause] >> Good afternoon, members of the governing board, district leaders and guests. My name is Kate Reeves and I'm a member of the leadership action team on student lighthouse. This year we had an amazing opportunity to take part in a participatory budgeting pro- process. We used our leadership skills to be proactive and begin with the end in mind. As we work to make our school an even better place, it was exciting to see how our voices can make a real difference in our community. Now, other members of the student lighthouse team will share how the voting process worked at Santan. Hello, my name is Breanna Montoya and I'm a member of the academics action team on student lighthouse. To get started, we collected ideas from students across our school. We
placed a suggestion box in the library so everyone had a chance to share their ideas since all students visit the library. This helped us seek first to understand what our school really wanted and needed and made sure every voice was heard. Hello, my name is Madeline. I am a member of the academic action team on the student lighthouse. We've received hundreds of creative and thoughtful ideas. The lighthouse team worked hard together with staff to review them and narrow them down to five proposals. During this process, we had to think win-win and synergize by combining ideas and working as a team. Our final proposal included recess games and equipment, new library furniture, STEM activities for our makerspace, math games, night activities and an outdoor music garden. Hello, my name is Madeline Reeves and I am a
member of the academic action team on student lighthouse. Scorpions Synergy City focuses on adding new playground equipment. These activities are designed to help students stay active, build teamwork and have fun during recess. This project really represents synergizing, working together, including others and building strong relationships through play. Hello, my name is Dallas Wright and I'm a member of the academic action team on student lighthouse. The scorpion meeting den is designed to be a calm and comfortable space. It would include flexible seating for reading, learning and working in small groups. This space supports students as they put first things first by focusing on their learning while also giving them a place to collaborate and share ideas. Hello, my Oh, wait. Hello, my name is Lauren and I'm a member of leadership action team on student lighthouse. Wait,
no, wait. Our STEM lab is a hands-on makerspace for students. This is a place where we can build, create and solve problems using STEM. This project encourages us to begin with the end in mind as we design and create and be proactive during our learning by trying new ideas and solving challenges. Hello, my name is Tenley Minke and I'm a member of the culture action team on student lighthouse. Together we get together to get everyone excited about voting, we had held a spirit week and created posters and chalk art around the school. On voting day, students wore the color of the project they supported. We also held a school wide assembly where each project was presented and celebrated. After the assembly, students visited the scorpion voting room at the at their assigned time to cast
their ballots. The students showed up showed leadership by being proactive and making responsible choices as voters and we all thought win-win by respecting each other's opinions. And the winner was Scorpion Synergy City. >> [applause] >> Hello, my name is Lily Butta and I'm a member of the culture action team on student lighthouse. We are excited to bring Scorpion Synergy City to life. This project will help us stay active, build relationships and continue synergizing during recess. Most importantly, it will help us sharpen the saw by taking care of our bodies, building friendships and having fun. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to use our voices, show leadership and make a difference in our school. >> [applause] >> Hi, my name is Layla Johnson and I'm in ninth grade. Hi, my name is Shirley Whitmer and
I'm in eighth grade. Hi, my name is Kennedy Block and I'm in eighth grade. >> Hi, my name is Riley Shaw and I'm in eighth grade. Hi, my name is Willow Kellam and I'm in seventh grade. Hello, my name is Quinn Carlson and I'm in eighth grade. Hi, I'm Matthew Rojewski and I'm in seventh grade. Hi, I'm Tiger Shepherd and I'm in eighth grade. For idea collection, we made sure the school was included as much as we could. We filmed a video explaining what SPB is and created a form where everyone could submit a school improvement idea. We took the top ideas and looked on how we could make it happen. Eventually, we ended up with four projects and we had the entire school go down to the library and write down their vote on
a ballot. We then got our winning project. In order to develop our project, we had weekly meetings, researched ideas, asked experts for guidance and worked on developing our project. We also had to call vendors, schedule meetings and talk to staff members to help bring our ideas to life. My group's project was project lunch makeover. At the beginning of the year, my group surveyed the student body to find what improvements needed to be made the most. With this, we created reachable goals and found vendors that would help us achieve these goals. These being big outdoor games, outdoor basketball court improvements and overall a better lunch time experience. We used teamwork and our strengths to create campaigns such as videos and flyers so our peers were aware of our project. My project name is Cougar Quench and
my goals for the project was to improve the school fountains all around the school for better tasting water that everyone can enjoy. I promoted my project by making posters to hang around the school and a tiny video explaining my project. My project is Shade and Seek which covers three parts of the school which are the bike racks, individual seats outside and lunch tables with umbrella holes. I promoted my project by adding posters all around the school which gives information about Shade and Seek and how it will improve the school. Um with all of these three projects, we decided to have our overall voting day. This voting day was campus wide with eighth graders and seventh graders and this was scheduled during all social studies classes. What are what we wanted to do is to treat
this like a traditional voting day. We wanted to do this because well, inside the future, you will have to vote and this is just a great way to have that inside their mind later on. Um we uh kids were overall really excited to see that their opinions and ideas were finally counted for inside these exciting projects to think, wait, I made a change. Um with this, as you can see on the screen, we had these super cool ballot stickers and they would basically just check it off and then also, we had our very own custom made cool I voted stickers which I think are pretty cool. Thank you to our staff and overall, we had 700 people vote and it was just a huge step inside our committee. Congratulations to the winning project, project lunch
makeover. With this money, we got pickleball equipment, large outdoor games, new basketball nets and uh shoot. Sorry. Uh and we wrapped our basketball boards. Also, we had money left over so we looked at our second place winner and we bought a new water fountain. My experience in this club has been wonderful. I got the opportunity to meet and get to know new people. I'm very proud of us for how far we've come this year. I hope we set the bar high enough for next year. Thank you for your time. >> [applause] >> Hi, my name is Serafina Harrison. I'm a part of the SPB committee and I'm in eighth grade. Hi, my name is Piper Hatch and I'm in eighth grade. Hi, I'm Isaac Salazar and I'm in seventh grade. First, we brainstormed ideas and
then we created a Google form where we had our student body vote. This is the result of our voting and then we narrowed it down to a top five choices. One of our top five choices was the upgrade court. Um what comes in these upgrade courts is upgraded hoops, new basketballs and new balls like that and upgraded storage. Second out of our three options were the additional misting fans. We already have eight on campus and we would add two more. Option number three was to upgrade the was to add a new shade umbrella. The idea was to add additional shade for the students when it gets hot. On voting day, we promoted it with posters and did an announcement at our pep assembly. Um we everyone voted in their social studies classes and almost 1,000
students voted. The winner out of the five choices was the up outdoor court upgrades and some of the items have already been delivered to the school. Thank you. >> [applause] >> Thank you so much to President Wade, HUSD cabinet and our governing board. Go Spartans. >> [applause] >> Hi, thank you everyone for coming and staying around. My name is Jacob Reynolds. I am an 11th grader at Higley High School. Hi, my name is Chaney Chase and I am a senior at Higley High School. All right, so to start off, we started off with our idea collections. So um for our SPB committee, we pulled from our members of NHS um but people that were involved in all different aspects around Higley. So me personally, I'm involved in things like theater and choir and then we
had people from StuCo, we had people from band just so we could have a large lens on what we needed in our school. And then as for our proposal advertising, we had a couple of our members go on our studio um which everyone watches on Fridays in their first hour class just to give people an idea of what we were doing and give them updates on what was going on and then we also had things like stickers for people and um for when they voted and other things of that sort. Okay, so the first idea that we had proposed was mister fans. It gets really hot in Arizona and a lot of our cafeteria tables are outside so we're going to put them around the cafeteria just to help students cool down either when they're
walking to their classes or when they're sitting and and eating lunch. The second idea we had was kind of similar, it was the shade structures around where students can get picked up or around either the bus areas so they're not sitting in the heat especially at the time that a lot of students get out, it is very hot and directly in the sun at our school so we thought a shade structure could just help people cool off a little bit. And then we had a third idea but it was denied so um our voting day, what we did was we sent a QR code to all the first hour teachers and we had them scan it so we got I think about like 600 responses and 66% of them voted for our winning project. Our
voting day was February 11th and like he said, you had the voting stickers that we passed out and yeah. And then our winner was the outdoor misting fans so we are hoping to implement those into our school over the summer so hopefully we will have a nice cool August lunch time. Uh thank you everyone for coming. >> [applause] >> And then we also want to thank the sponsors of the SPB committee for giving us this opportunity. Thank you so much. >> [applause] >> Hi everyone, my name is Jayda Reedhead. I'm a senior at Loom School High School and then I was leader of this year's school participatory budgeting. Hi, I'm Britney Zo and I'm a senior. Hi, I'm Bradley Reedhead and I'm a sophomore. Hi, I'm Everly and I'm a sophomore. This year for our
school participatory budgeting, our idea collection started as a QR code that we sent to every classroom on campus and asked students to fill out the QR code with ideas that they wanted to see around campus. For our proposal development, we took a list of all of the top picks from our idea collection and narrowed it down to see overlapping ideas, similar ones and what students wanted to see. Our first idea was to beautify the bathrooms which means we got new hand dryers cuz the ones we have are some of them are broken. And then we needed dividers in between the urinals in the boys bathroom and just to clean up the bathrooms a little bit more. Okay, and then we also wanted to renew or kind of clean up the student union a little bit.
We wanted to make more seating arrangements, make it more comfortable for the students to hang out, to study, and to also clean out a room to make it a copy room for teachers to set up and prepare for their classes. Our last option was updating the nest. We were going to add more seating, better lighting, and then just overall like clean it up and like the accessibility going into the nest. Okay, and then we voted on February 10th and we had students come out during their history classes, scan the QR code so we can make sure that everybody only voted once and we handed out the voted stickers after everybody voted. So after collecting all the votes, the winner was to revamp the media center and we announced that on Instagram and we posted and
everyone was really excited. Thank you so much for your time. >> [applause] >> All right. Well, first and foremost, can we please just give all the kiddos in this room, the teenagers, awesome job. >> [applause] >> It is not easy to get up in front of people and speak. Students, K-12, you guys did an amazing job. We're so proud of you. So many of you don't know that these projects are recently being purchased through our finance department and they are being delivered to campuses with the goal in mind that they be set up and prepared ready to go before kids get out for the summer. Obviously, there's some shipping and stuff like that that's taking place. So not everything is, but I will tell you all these projects will be installed prior to the start
of the new school year. So we're super excited. Great job. Mr. Lotzenhiser, did you want to add anything? So thank you again to all the parents who supported the occasion and did such a fantastic job. And when we see this type of leadership, it really gives us excitement and hope. So thank you so much. >> [applause] >> So I just wanted to say thank you to all of the participation that you did at each school. It is really helpful to us as board members for multiple reasons. A, it's just great to see students doing awesome things. So we're grateful for all of that, but B, I do also think it gives us ideas of needs. So we appreciate your perspective cuz it matters. So thank you and thanks for giving up your time in during
testing season and all that jazz. Get sleep. >> [applause] >> All right, that concludes the presentations. Awesome job. Everyone have a wonderful evening. Be safe going home.
