Uh I am very happy to be here to recognize our great athletes uh and competitors that participated in the Winter Olympics. Um they we just had a pizza party and a celebration with their families. It was a it was a good time. We promised them that they did not have to

007do work and all of that stuff. So we made that clear. Um, so I I just want to take a moment to thank you all for for taking the time to recognize this this great group of kids. Um, I've gotten to know them in my eight years here and they are they're a great time as as I'm sure you will see shortly. Uh on in May, we go to the York County Games um at at Noble High School. That is

008al always one of my favorite times of years. Uh and it reinvigorates kind of when you're when you're at the at the finish line of the school year. It's like another reason like this is why I do this job. So, uh, it's a great time. Uh, and we also participate in the summer Olympics. Um, I know I do not have my list of people. I do want to recognize Janice, uh, Peterson, who, um, also works for us with for PT. >> Thank you. >> She's going to be mad at me for saying that out loud and making her stand up. So, sorry, Janice. 009a great relationship with the families. And there are many many players behind the scenes that that participate, take the long road trips in the cars um to support the students in the cold this year especially last few years actually um standing out in freezing weather. Um but still having a great time. So I do want to recognize those folks and they will be named in my newsletter. So, um, you know, I unfortunately don't have my list of people, but I do want to publicly acknowledge and thank them for all of their their support because they are they are fantastic. 016job to Mr. O' Conor and student athletes. So, it's uh it's my privilege to to recognize students who have been competing through the Skills USA competition at Sanford Regional Technical Center. this particular group of students uh have achieved a number of different accomplishments in terms of their competition, but then also we're very lucky to have two student of the year nominees. Um if you remember last year the student of the year at SRTC was our own uh Devonyie Brickett uh which is really fantastic that we're sort of following in those in those footsteps. So we'll start off um first a homeschooled student who is um enrolled here at MHS and in SRTC is Connor Wilcox who has earned a gold medal in electrical wiring construction. Congratulations. >> I should have mentioned also this is, as

017we know, the busiest time of year. There's everything from jobs to sports, athletics. You've seen the campus as you drove in tonight. You know what's going on. So, we have a lot of students who are out and about. Uh, next up, Harley Robinson, um, who is also sort of our resident artist at MHS. If you go through the halls, you'll see a lot of murals from Harley. She received the gold medal in Skills USA main branding and pin design. She was also the statewide winner as well. So, congratulations to Harley Robinson. Um, John Madigan also won a gold medal in collision repair technology. So, if you get an offender bender, please see John Madigan. >> Jackson Condan received a silver medal in culinary arts. Congratulations to Jackson. >> Finn Lee received a silver medal in

018restaurant service. Congratulations also to Finn. A bronze medal in entrepreneurship, the team event, our own Vanessa Mccuri. Congratulations. >> Next up, a bronze medal in extemporaneous speaking. He should be up here doing this. Max Tucson, >> one of our student of the year nominees for um SRTC, the Skills USA competition in health occupations, Whitney Borenstein. And last, but certainly not least in Skills USA and SRTC, another student of the year nominee, Giana Carrera. Uh and last but not least, she's out on the softball field uh right now. We hosted Noble this afternoon, but our main principles award winner is Devonyie Brickett. She and I had a chance a couple of weeks ago to uh to go to Bangor, excuse me, together and celebrate with around 200 other principles and their nominees. A really great event.

019So, congratulations to Devonyie on that particular award. Thank you. Congratulations. You're welcome to stay for the rest of the meeting. You don't have to, but you're welcome to. All right. Next up in my board chair report, excuse me, I just have um a couple things. One is a reminder of our district budget meeting. That's next Tuesday night, May 5th at 7 p.m. That's going to be at the middle school. I also wanted to speak to the board briefly about the need for a special meeting next week that would um have just two items of business on it. So, I wanted to ask you, we could do that Monday, uh, which is the 4th at 6 PM or we could do it on Tuesday prior to the budget meeting at 5:30 p.m. We would need a

020three-fifths majority, so 10 plus. So, if um, if we can just kind of have an informal conversation about what day would work best for everyone so that we can get that on the books and scheduled and get it properly noticed. So, Monday, Tuesday is 5:30 on Tuesday. Could we need ample time? The budget meeting starts at 7. Could we do 5:30 on Tuesday >> and it would be at the middle school? You won't be able Okay. So, who who can do Tuesday at 5:30 at the middle school? >> Oh, yeah. Tuesday. 1, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. All right, I think we're going to go with Tuesday. Um, so we will get that properly noticed. We'll get the agenda set out. Um, I appreciate that from all of you. I know

021this is a busy time of year and um, so adding another meeting isn't ideal, but needs to be done. So that is all that I have tonight for my board chair report. So I'll pass things over to Dr. Marquee for the superintendent's report. We'll begin with Zoe and Walker. >> All right. Good evening everyone. So, as I'm sure you could tell by driving up, there's quite a lot happening on our school campuses this time of year. The last two days when I've come here, there's been plenty of athletics and activities happening here on the MHS campus. And this is the first time I've ever had to park in the way, way back of this east building lot. So, there's a lot going on. Uh so at Alfred in the four days before April break they

022had their kindness week. Uh they had a different theme every day which included hats off to kindness, team up for kindness, Alfred kids are kind kids. And on Thursday, April 16th, they wore the color that their grade was assigned for the school's walk for kindness. During this event, students completed laps around the field while music was played and they traversed obstacles while collecting a colored bracelet for each lap that they completed. Families were invited to walk with their child. Uh after this event, students returned home with kindness matters cards to remind them how they can be kind to others over April break. The Alfred PTSA is running a scrapbooking event on the 2nd of May. Uh the group seeking theme donations for raffle baskets and other items for the event. At Alfred and Lyman, preK

023and kindergarten students have been reading spring themes books during their library blocks. First grade students have been reading poetry and their lessons began with an animal poem guessing game. Uh second graders have been focusing on Earth Day themes and older grades have started the final chapter book that they will read this year. Lyman Elementary had an Earth Day school cleanup on the 15th of April. Each grade was assigned to clean a different area on the school grounds. They'll also be having a talent show. Families have also been invited to complete an online form where they can provide additional information about their child and the environment they thrive best in as the school is beginning the process of preparing classes for next year. And these parent input forms are due uh were due the 27th of

024April. Uh Lion Elementary had a showcase of learning and book night which was a success that saw strong attendance from families. The school had a spring food drive where they collected donations from the end of March to April 10th. And their golden spatula, which is given to classes for good lunchroom behavior, has been awarded for its first week of use where two classes were able to earn the award and were given a fancy lunch the following Monday to reward their good behavior. Lion had a BOGO book fair in the week before April break. They also had a two-hour long family night on Wednesday, April 15th. Uh and students at the school are also invited to participate in the bikes for book program where they can earn a chance to win a bike by reading. Chapley

025Memorial had an assembly to recognize numerous milestones. They celebrated 28 students who had perfect attendance during the second trimester as well as their second trimester model must Mustangs. uh they recognized a couple NWA score achievements, particularly those who scored in the 90th percentile nationwide and those who scored 25% or higher than their expected growth from spring to winter. Uh this assembly also recognized five writing students who submitted winter themed poems that were selected to be published. Shapes wrapped up the responsible readers month as March ended. classes earned a mile for each minute they read in their schoolwide reading challenge. And the two classrooms who met the school's goal to earn and uh read enough miles to hypothetically reach Eureka, California will have a special surprise. Additionally, the top two student readers from every class will

026be rewarded with a special ticket to get a free book at the book fair. Uh during a recent early release day, two teachers at Chappley had an especially engaging readalong session where they led an activity where students turn shapes into comic characters. Recently, there was a schoolwide maple syrup tasting. Uh recently, students also dressed up as their favorite movie character for a spirit day. Uh the school's PTC ran a pastry fundraiser and all orders were due by the 15th of April. On Wednesday, April 8th, a local author visited the school and shared her story with classrooms. Her book included the idea of pocket hugs and brave breaths, things students can carry with them throughout the school day when facing a challenge. And I'll turn it over to Zoe for the second half of our report

027this evening. Thank you. >> Good afternoon. I will cover the second half of our report. Starting with uh on April 15th, Waterboro held a fourth grade family night began at 6 p.m. The PTO will be holding a roller skating event at Happy Wheels on that was over vacation on the 20th. Water spring book fair begins on the 4th and um and that will last from 3:30 to 7:30. Uh there is a student art show on May 7th at 7 p.m. as well. In some district-wide news, the Portland Sea Dogs um gave most most improved student awards. They were celebrated with certificates and will be given free tickets to go to a home game in Portland on Sunday, April 26th. The elementary math meet at the elementary math math meet. There we go. Water's team plays

028first. Runners up were Alfred, Lyman landed third, line was fourth, and Shappley was fifth. Southern Main Math League meet at Portland Expo will be on May 5th and the top six mathletes will be there. Fifth grade students um recently attended a music of our month of music in our schools month concert at MMS. Um they these are for band students that will be transitioning to the middle school. Um they had a instrument petting zoo on the on Saturday May 2nd from 10 to 3. Um this was an opportunity to meet band directors and try instruments that they may want to play. Master music Middle School held their Admas family musical in the first half of April. There was all 700 p.m. show. There was a 700 p.m. show on April 10th and 11th and a

0292 p.m. show on Sunday, April 5th or April 12th. And those that show is free for all. On April 5th, MMS held its spring fling dance. Masses High School had its March Madness dodgeball tournament winners, which was the Masterpiece Wrestling Team. Uh there are seven teams that played and Masterpiece Wrestling that name will be on will be engraved onto the back of a wooden trophy for them. Uh a musical showcase was put on as a fundraiser on April 14th from um from M from Mustang Theater. Um the students performed different songs from different uh from different musicals. We had good attendance from families. Um we will be opening a improv night for Thursdays after break for the incoming freshmen. And the resiliency project has been focused on trauma in April and they will be informing

030students about different types of trauma and they have information boards to post all over the hallways for students. Uh MHS had a had a spirit week. Monday was white lies. Tuesday was throwback. Wednesday was wacky Wednesday. Thursday was Hawaiian. And Thursday was Hawaiian day. Um the MHS math team will also will represent the school at the math meet on Tuesday, April 7th. Uh there's a big congratulations to 14 SRT SRTC students from MHS who got to the National Technical Honor Society. And the senior class trip has been announced. Seniors will be going to the Hilltop Fun Center in New Hampshire on the 29th of May. MHS's music department will have its spring concert on Friday, May 18th at at 6:30 in the gym. The class of 2028 recently held a fundraiser that was a huge

031success and they will also be participating in the May 2nd MHS craft fair with a bake sale. Exams for advanced placement courses will begin on the 4th and we'll run into the final exam on the 13th. uh guidance. The guidance department at MHS has had many meetings to help students prepare for life after high school. And on Thursday, April 9th, all juniors took a MEA science exam. The National Honor Society hid hundreds of plastic eggs filled with candy around the school on the Friday right before Easter. That was a lot of fun and students really enjoyed it, I thought. Um, April break began on the 17th and we came back Monday the 27th. Uh, we hope that everyone has had some time to relax over that spring break. And with this being our last vacation

032before the end of the school year, um, we only have a few more weeks before the year ends. And that will be the conclusion of our report. >> Thank you both very much. There is so much happening. Um, yesterday I had the good fortune of watching a little tennis. Then I went and watched a little of the track meet. Then I watched a little bit of the baseball game. Then this afternoon there was tennis again and also our softball team. And when I left that game, we were up 104. So, uh, our kids are quite busy on this campus right now and also on the middle school campus. Um, so that's the first portion. Um there's several new significant laws that are going to be en enacted um out of this most recent session of

033the legislature and um a couple that um we've talked a little bit about in here 2226 which is the act to amend school finance um has um been approved and that's going to really create um uh some significant budgetary support um in our FY28 uh budget uh subsidy allocation. Um I don't know what the exact amount will be because there were some some slight concessions around hold harmless and phasing that in, but it's going to be um really a significant uh support for us. Um, I don't believe it will be at the $1.3 million, but it'll be probably pretty close to that. In addition to that legislation passing, um, and I'm not sure because I've talked about it so often, so I want to share it again just in case I haven't shared it with

034all of you. There will also be some, um, bridge funding that, um, will come our way in FY27 to kind of frontload that a little bit. um in that $200,000 range. And that's going to be um the way it works in the funding um and budget approval, that will ultimately be really just put forward as carry forward um to help support FY28 because it's not part of the real budget development process um for this current year. that was calculated on a per pupil um expenditure based on the um for districts with over 40% population of what's economically disadvantaged and um we're at for FY 27 we're at I believe 47%. So we take um 407% of roughly 2830 students and we multiply it by um about $115. So that's how we get that. So that's

035going to be a nice um future support to budget development. Um so FY 26 is 27's looking good. FY28's looking good. in comparison to many of our surrounding neighbors, our projected expenditure as well as taxation um are solidly in a good position when nobody wants to pay more taxes. Um but in relation to many of our peers um we're in fairly good shape with that. A reminder, and Jody already shared it as well, the district budget meeting on the 5th. There are two other significant laws that um we're in pretty good shape with the cell phone policy, but I think we're we're going to be updating that a little bit at our next policy meeting. And uh there will um I think that personally cell phones have been one of the greatest challenges to impact

036uh and not necessarily a positive way uh education here in this district throughout the state of Maine and nationally. So some of those restrictions or those restrictions are going to I believe have a significant uh impact uh in a positive direction for us. So that would be LD2212. Uh, another law that's been enacted and um and I think this one is actually um has a lot of levers that are going to be needing some some serious legal guidance on. Um I think it's a a needed law, but um but I think that there's there's a lot to it that is going to be very complex um and require some additional training and insight. and it's LD 2192, which is an act regarding employee investigations. So, um, in the state of Maine, there's been concern that

037when an educator might have some challenges, I'll just put it that way. In one district, they might resign and move on, or they might have done something that's questionable and they resign. Um, it requires anytime there's a need to do an investigation um for conduct of concern, staff to student or staff to staff. Um, a school district must do a few things immediately. They must put the person on paid administrative leave. They must also notify the main department of education that an active investigation is going to be completed and then they must uh we must all school districts must also provide an update of the outcome of those investigations. So there are a lot of different components. Um so we're going to be working through that. Um it's kind of a flowchart for it. Um,

038and then there's also parameters that require us to um, work with the state when we are hiring moving forward to essentially um, vet if there's any existing or um, previous conduct that would lead to um, a concern with hiring. So, that one is pretty significant. So, if you want to look that one up, it's LD2192, an act regarding school employee investigations. What's happened in the past is you can do what's called a covered investigation. So, if you had an employee that was under investigation, and and I don't believe a lot of districts have ever done this. Um, but I I do know that this district has done it um a few times um where you must notify the state or should notify the state if someone were to resign prior to um any um termination

039um any um if someone were to resign while under investigation of a serious conduct, you want to make sure you let the state know for all sorts of reasons. So, this kind of um ratchets things up significantly. Um and it was really born from some belief that some some individuals had been shuffled around the district and and caused harm. Um that all said, the vast majority of educators and and individuals that work in schools do the right thing day in and day out. And um so uh I don't think this is a cause to panic, but it just does require a lot of additional steps and formalizes a process and um and I believe we hire really good people and people that care about kids and and wanting to support one another and work well

040with their colleagues. But since it's since it's such a large new law, I wanted to at least open up that conversation with you all. Couple other kind of good things. This this coming Friday is lunch hero day. It's a day in which we celebrate um our wonderful school nutrition staff that work in our dining rooms. And uh we're really fortunate about that. And next week on um the 7th, next week is nurse appreciation week, but respect with respect to education, it's um May 7th. Um but in reality, we are going to be celebrating all individuals next week as part of um staff appreciation because we believe that what we do in this district is supported by the helping hands of many regardless of what their role is. For some individuals, the person that gets them

041through the door every day in a positive manner is a bus driver or a bus aid or someone that's working in the in our dining rooms providing breakfast or school administrators or school nurses. So, next week is staff appreciation week and uh we'll be celebrating our staff, our PTAs will be celebrating staff and um as a district we'll rotate over a few days providing staff lunchons, a nutritious lunch for our um our staff. That concludes my report uh this evening. Thank you. >> Any questions? Okay. All right, standing committees. First up is policy. Beth and Adam are not here. Are you reporting over there? >> No. No. >> Oh, Beth and Adam are not here this evening. So, um policy has not met since our last full board meeting. Their next meeting is uh next

042next Wednesday, May 6th at 6 PM. Any questions for policy? Um, next up, finance Wes. >> Thank you, Jody. Um, finance committee met last evening. uh the primary business of the evening centered around um regional school district 57's uh audit and uh we had a meeting with Marcus Pratt who's a CPA and he presented a document for the finance committee to review. If any of the board members want it, you can get it through the finance office through uh director Walsh. Um, we had a clean bill of health. Um, bottom line, no material weaknesses or findings nor any deficiencies. So, it was a really, really good report. Um, again, we keep reminding everyone of the district budget meeting, which is next Tuesday, May 5th, at 700 p.m. Um, Director Walsh reported out that our moderator

043is in place. It's going to be Bill Stockmeer again who's been handling that for a number of years for us. Um Dr. Doyle and Director Walsh uh shared that they participated in a u safety and security uh for schools training that occurred during uh vacation break week over at Masses Middle School. And there were a number of folks with EMA coordinating that uh with uh Dr. Doyle and uh there are a ton of EMS personnel and staff and it was just an outstanding event. Um modular roofing repairs are uh are going to be scheduled for this summer. That was new news that we were wondering where that was going to be at. Uh the finance committee accepted u uh seven acoustic guitars that were donated uh through uh Adam go uh to Masabis High School

044and um so we have to vote and accept that formally and the value on those guitars that were donated to us by the county of York jail uh valued at 1,200. We had a report out. We' had a request to review fuel prices. Fuel prices were locked in from September of 2025 through August of 2027. Heating oil is at $2.65 a gallon. Uh gas is at $2.69 69 cents a gallon and diesel is at $32 a gallon which are all pretty remarkable prices for us to be locked in at through 2027. The uh pupil transportation folks uh had a major competition event and they were supported by facilities and maintenance as well as food services. The next finance meeting is going to be on May 19th at 6 pm. The May 12th meeting will not

045occur because there are three members of the finance committee that are unable uh to attend. Myself being one of those and Mark and we're the chair and Suzanne is is out of state as well. So we figured let's wait until the 19th. If something were to come up, we'll reach out. Um so the next meeting 6 p.m. May 19th, but please don't forget next Tuesday. very very important budget meeting, district budget meeting. Thank you. >> Thank you, Wes. Any questions uh for finance? >> The other way around, Wes, aren't we keeping the 12th and canceling the 19th? >> Oh, I >> No, it's actually uh May 12th that we're cancelling and it's the 19th that we'll continue with. 19th is already on the agenda as a >> that's what's canled >> I think that we

046had originally cancelled >> the 19th and kept the 12th but now we're going to have to flip it because of everyone's schedule. >> I think that is what happened because we were canceling some of the >> excuse me weekly meetings >> we did >> so we'll adjust it on the calendar >> okay >> so that it's reflected correctly. Any other questions for Wes? >> Not a question. >> Uh, human resources, Anastasia. >> All right. We met on the 15th. Um, we had some big discussions based on the schoolboard evaluation on the lowest points that we all ranked. Um, we talked about, we tried to clarify the definition of media. Um, we had some conversations on the I notes are a little scribbled, so bear with me. We talked about analysis of the media engagement and

047effectiveness based on the school board valuation. Um, how we get our messages out. What is the definition of media? Is it social media, community newsletters, boarding board communications? Um, we had lots of discussions based on the school board evaluation. We also had an executive session which we will talk about that next board meeting. So, I'm not going to get into that because you got you guys all got those packets. Um, we wanted to highlight workshops, maybe do some more, but we have to adjust with our schedules. Um, and we meet on the 20th next Thank you. Any questions for Anastasia? Real quick before we move on to old business because I forgot this during my board chair report. If you haven't completed the superintendent evaluation, please get that done by the end of the day

048tomorrow so that we can get that ready. Also, I sent everyone the scholarship. So, be ready to make those selections on the 13th. Right. Not tonight. All right. Old business, we have none. new business. Uh we will start off with a couple of nominations. We have Khloe Copeland, a grade one teacher at Line Elementary School, and then also Jessica Gallaniff, special education teacher at Chappley Memorial School. So, we have those two nominations for approval this evening. >> You want to make a motion to approve? >> Sure. I make a motion we approve both nominations. Was that D? All right, we have a motion in a second. Any discussion? >> These positions, are they for this next school year or are they coming in now? >> That's a great question. Um, one of them, the grade

049one teacher at line school is for next school year and moving forward. The other Jessica Lannif um would be for this school year once we find a replacement for her existing position which we're in the process of finalizing. This is not a new position. It's filling a position. So, we've been short staffed for that role. >> Thank you. Uh any other discussion on those nominations? All in favor? That carries. Thank you. Um, next up we have probationary and continuing teacher contract recognition uh recommendations. Those are in your packet. So, I would look for a motion to approve those. Judith, is there a second? Wes, >> you think you want to speak to those? >> Um, yes. Just uh for those new to the board, what happens is a teacher is hired or nominated three times

050when they first get hired like the two individuals a moment ago, that would be hired for probationary one. when they finish their first year. By statute, we must um nominate or not nominate u probationary staff by May 14th. I put this on a meeting early. So, they get hired, then it's probationary one to probationary 2 and then probationary 2 to continuing contract. So this is a statutory requirement in May or April each year. >> Perfect. So we do have a motion and a second to approve that. Is there any further discussion? >> Um actually one error that we just found um on the in your backup Jessica Johnson Massabes Middle School. She's an English language arts teacher, not an ELLL teacher. That is a typo. Anastasia. Um, I see a social worker on here. She's

051only been on here for one year, isn't she? I don't want to say publicly. Yeah. >> Oh, it's in the back. There you go. >> Sarah Los. >> Yes. >> But she's been a social worker for I know I've been dealing with her at line school for a couple years. Um I don't have the the date of hire with me right now. There are some individuals if you start late in the year or in the portion of the year you are not given that year as far as probationary. >> Okay. >> One or two. So I can I'll confirm that in backup right now. Um >> mic. >> No. Nope. Um, that would be another example of someone that started midyear. >> Yep. >> In both cases, I believe. >> Okay. >> Thank you. >>

052Any further discussion? All in favor? >> That carries. Thank you. Next up, first read of policy. This is GBN Family and Medical Leave Act, FMLA. So, this policy is coming before the board this evening as a complete rewrite um because it's there are two associated policies that are with it. GBN-R1 and GBN-R2. Those are administrative procedures that go along with GBN. And the rewrite includes essentially taking those two and putting them right into the body of the policy so that it's going to all be in one. So, you'll see that after GBN comes through the board for a second read, then you we're going to have to um move make a motion and um vote to remove those two the two associated policies. So, GBN is here for a first read tonight. Um, so I

053would look for a motion to approve that and then because policy is meeting next week, then any questions or comments or clarification that you need can be directed to the policy committee. They can address that next week and bring it back on the 13th. So if I could get a motion to uh accept the first read Anastasia, >> any discussion? All in favor? Right. So that will come back for a second read within eight weeks. Next up, we are removing a policy. This is GCSA-E employee computer and internet use um acknowledgement form because this so this is associated with GS GCSA that policy but we do not have our staff um fill out paper forms acknowledging that anymore. It's part of the acceptable use agreement that's completed annually by staff through frontline. So there's no

054need to have this um form as part of our policy anymore, but we can't remove it without approval of the school board. So I would look for a motion to do that. >> Judith Armen, any discussion? All in favor? All right. Thank you everyone. Next up, I would look for a motion to enter into executive session to discuss a student matter pursuant to one MRSA 4056B. Anastasia, I think, got it. Who was the second? J D. All right. Oh, was it Jen? >> Oh. Uh, all in favor? All right. We are in executive session at 6:53 Yeah. What is the direction of the board? >> I make a motion we expel student A indefinitely with a road map for re-entry. Deja >> Michelle. >> All right. So, we have a motion and a second. Is

055there any discussion? All those in favor? That's all. Opposed. All right. So, we have eight in favor and six opposed. That motion carries. So, administration will get with you on next steps. At this time, I'd like to make a motion to enter into executive session to discuss a student matter pursuant to 1 MRSA 4056B. >> All those in favor? We're in executive session at 7:4. Four. What is the direction of the board >> indefinitely or indefinitely? Okay. Second. So we have a motion and a second to expel student B indefinitely with a road map to return. Is there any discussion? All in favor motion. At this time, I'd like to make a motion to enter into executive session to discuss a student matter pursuant to 1 MRSA 4056B. >> Who's who second it? Michelle. >>

056Um, so we have a motion and a second. All in favor? We are in executive session at 8:13 him. What is the direction of the board? >> Second. D. So we have a motion and a second to expel student C indefinitely with a road map. Is there any discussion? All in favor? Opposed? That motion carries. Administration is going to speak with you about next steps. I'm going to make a motion to enter into executive session to discuss a student matter pursuant to 1 MRSA 4056B. Second. All in favor? We are in executive session at 8:58 p.m. Okay. Uh what is the decision of the board? So, we do have a motion and a second to expel student D indefinitely with a road map. Is there any discussion? All those in favor? Opposed. That motion carries.

057Administration will speak with you on next steps. Uh calendar and announcements are at the bottom of your agenda. Upcoming meetings are there. We'll see you all next Tuesday for the budget meeting. We are adjourned. 10:18 p.m.
