e e e [Music] I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America to the Republic for which it stands one nation God indivisible with liy and justice for all thank you trusty Bowski ask the roll call please trusty Bowski present trusty Gator present trusty serini present trusty derra present trusty Nasser trusty wall pres trusty windland pres we have a quorum agenda adoption be it so resolved that the Board of Education accepts the June 12th 2024 agenda as presented a board member May request an item to be removed from the consent agenda to superintendent Rec recommendation may have a motion Mo moved by trustee Gator supp support by trusty serini questions comments roll call please trusty Gator yes trusty Nan yes trusty sterlini yes trusty dyro yes trusty Basi yes trusty winless yes
trusty wall yes motion carries at this time I'd like to open up the floor to public comment on aend agenda items if anybody would like to come up to the podium please come up now seeing none we will continue on and at this time we're going to go to superintendent report and Mr Klein hands thank you president wall so I have three items that I want to uh present this evening um the first one is technology purchases I'll get that second and then talk a little bit about the upcoming election and then just a couple of uh end of the school year notes so I'll begin with um technology purchases so if you could look in your board packet under exhibit one we are presenting not for Action tonight but for information to give you
a couple weeks to look over this information if you have questions about it you can email me I can um get that information to Shaheen unfortunately he couldn't be here this evening but um typically the way um that schools try to handle major technology purchases is they do they take care of those prior to the end of the fiscal year so that on July 1st when the budget turns over the POS can go out everything's already been approved hopefully POS go out the equipment comes back and it gives the tech department the summer to deploy the equipment that that they get so uh this is kind of in line with how I um see technology purchases going uh if you recall last year we had to do uh in short order we had to order
uh Chromebooks and carts for the middle school which I'm so glad that you guys approved that because testing went much better this year uh as a result of those approvals but probably the better way to do it is the way that we're doing this tonight so with technology purchases we have four major purchases and we presented this uh information to the technology committee and I'm sure uh Tomy will speak to that in her minutes but we have server Replacements we have a video server Replacements that we're recommending Elementary Chromebooks uh Grant funded Middle School Chromebooks totaling approximately 528,000 not approximate that is the amount and 31 cents of these purchases out of general fund and then 5259 out of the title one budget so these dollars are in the presented projected 20 2425 budget so
if you approve the the budget approve these purchases um at our next meeting then we'll be good to go so um so if you'll go to exhibit one you can see the replacement of the server so the current host servers that we have there are two of them they are um eight years old so they're on their last leg um so I think it's a seven-year life fan so they're ready for replacement um the other piece that we're up against although we do have some time is the migration to Windows 11 that um all of all school districts have to go through um and so by purchasing these all of this equip as matter of fact we will be in line for that migration down the road now we still have additional purchases that we
need to plan through next fiscal year and bring at this time next year to finalize what we need for the migration because that's going to take place October of next school year so um this is a start to that process and we're quite pleased to get here so you can see um in the board packet I've included my letter and then Shaheen's explanation of these purchases and then the actual bids and the quotes that have all been vetted through um through um remsey so that the purchases are good to go so the the two host servers are about 76,2 $332 and you can see that this is all all of the stuff that all of the data all the information goes through these host servers out to uh Wayne Risa which connects us to the
U worldwide um internet and all of the programs and all of the information mde where all of this data has to go so that's exhibit number one exhibit number two are the video servers and you'll see in here that Shaheen uh speaks to the fact that our are these are old as well they're eight years old um on a seven-year lifespan so they need to be replaced it's interesting um if you look at the cost of these servers This Server versus our host server and the reason for that is the video has so much more memory that it needs to carry um because that jumped out of me right away too um we have to store that for so many months on our on our cameras um and so this will greatly enhance that whole
video server process and um it actually will allow us to add we've got a few blind spots that we need to add cameras and this will allow us to do that so that's the second exhibit the third are 900 Dell 3110 Chromebooks these are Elementary Chromebooks that we're recommending that we uh spend the Chromebooks the educational upgrade carts the white glove service to get them ready 368,000 325 um this will bring our entire um Elementary Chromebook Fleet up to speed so that they be ready for um the I ready testing and the State Testing they really struggled this year much like the issues that uh ow best had a year ago um they they had to shuffle um Chromebooks around and get kids on the ones that work and switch out the ones that are
old older and couldn't carry the software on that so this will U greatly improve our uh testing platforms at um our elementaries and then the final one is a title purchase so this is separate from our um general fund this is title $1 and this is in the ow best Title One Grant so this is the purchase of 120 uh Dell Chromebooks um the educational upgrade and the license and then it also includes two touch screen LED uh displays for presenting information in the classroom it's an interactive display so they built that into their um title one uh plan and that totals along with the carts that totals $52,599 um if they're technical questions we can get Shaheen to answer those questions okay anything on the technology the next uh item that I wanted to
speak to is the upcoming election Tuesday not upcoming it's down the road but Tuesday November 5th so we need to be uh mindful we have uh for board seats we have four full term positions open the deadline for following and this is why I wanted for filing this this is why I want to get this information out is Tuesday July 23rd 2024 at 4 p.m. so if anybody's interested um you can go to the city clerk's office um you can call them get more information um but you can go there pick up uh packet the requirements are statement of candidacy a Affidavit of identity petition bearing a minimum of 40 or a maximum of 100 registered voters in the school district or the candidates can pay1 non-refundable fee in lie of the nominating position so
um if you are interested um please uh um you know make sure you reach out to the the um city clerk and you're mindful of the the dates of when the filing needs to occur questions on that and then the final thing is just a note about the end of the school year and um I'm going to um in my points of Pride I'm going to speak more to this but um just a couple of things um I know that with Summer coming Friday being our last day there's been a ton of things that have gone on and I'm certainly going to talk about that in our um my points of Pride but just be mindful it's almost like a switch in Seasons right we're going to have uh students will not be in school
they'll be out and about we want to make sure that our community certainly is aware if you're driving up and down the roads just be a little war mindful next week that things have changed that kids are out and about um so that we're we're all safe but as we wind the school year down there's been just a ton of things that have gone on very positive and I'll speak to that um when we get to the uh points of Pride then one other final thing if you are interested and I missed this on the want to make sure that i' speak to this that masb and Neola so masb is Michigan Association School boards Neola is our policy company they're providing virtual Town Hall events that explains the whole process of how to become
a board member there are some upcoming dates uh that you can go on and we'll get this information posted and get it out so that if you are interested you could sit in and explains the responsibilities of serving on your local school board guide you through the process of filing and running for a seat explain the steps and opportunities so I should have mentioned that before but I did want to hit the change in Seasons just to make sure school's out Friday Mondays kind of change everybody stays safe when they're moving in and around through our neighborhoods so all have thank you Mr CL certified staff appointments exhibit number seven in your packet be it so resolved that the Board of Education accepts the following certified staff appointments Lindsay Cox Cox social worker at party

we could approve it with that change in there I say okay so then we we are as we do approve it for it to have Foster I can give a quick over that Amendment yes okay so I'm excited to bring this contract to the board as well as the next contract a lot of work went in this from both sides I know that we spent one night going over all of this information and looking at different options and I know the um negotiating teams for both this contract and the other contract have spent um some significant time on this so this is a three-year contract um beginning July 1 2024 going through the 27th as you'll note in here there's a lot of language changes to uh incorporate a 12month employee into this group um
and so we've taken care of that um there's adjustment on the sick leave language that we uh added in here and there's an adjustment on the salary schedule with increases of the hourly rate for each of the upcoming three years so that's reflective of this um I do know that um certainly the district appreciates the work that um these folks do I think the comment I heard and I know when I was a building principal they asked who really ran the building and I said well my ad administrative assistant so um but these people are uh they do great work so I'm excited to bring this uh contract to you for approval this evening mark what was the ratification vote for this contract unanimous I believe it was unanimous I believe it was yeah I
think they were really excited about it I don't have the actual number but there was when they said we approve it that's I got any questions or comments and trust me d off at this point since you might have a you definitely have more experience in this do we need to change our wording on this because of the Foster or in the contract before we v i no I think as long as you say um we can just say as as we amended it you know to add the Foster okay you know I mean it's up to you if you want to resend and do again that's fine too that's you normally have been doing so okay so what I think I'll do is we'll resent and then afterwards I'll just say as we amend
it so that way that'll take care I second that she does okay um okay so TR D and trusty winless resend I'm going to repeat this be resolved that the Board of Education accepts and approves the 2024 2027 agreement as amended between the Board of Education and the educational administrative assistance contract as presented motion trusty windless support supported by trusty D and the amendment of course was bringing in the term foster children article and cl and correct many's name yes correct from many to thank you any other questions comment concerns roll call please trusty Bel yes trusty Nasser yes trusty windless yes trusty dyro yes trusty sterin trusty Gator yes trusty wall yes motion carries and uh for this next one you're going to hear the same der High School District number Board of Education

another list of training somewhere else yeah so we do the welcome back training for the start of the school year um and this is for cross training so that we can connect um because typically with these positions um if especially if there's movement there'll be an individual that is completed that job so we wanted to connect with them and set up a day where they could Shadow and go through training so that's what this is reflective of okay so this is not saying that all we do is give them one day of training that first week correct okay thank you that's all I wanted to make sure questions comments oh yes speci Finance okay again another contract that we're happy to get to you folks um this was a tough negotiation because this group was
rugged I'm just kidding so this a great group to work with they do an awful lot um that was brutal an awful lot uh for our our certainly our students um three-year contract same thing July 1st through June 30th or over the three years um clean up here there was a lot of language changes in here just clarifying and cleaning up languages especially in the area of vacancy and uh transfer we did add the uh professional development for the cross training we just spoke about we clarified the use of sick time we adjusted option pays that that we had uh discussed so it gives the members options cleans up uh the bement language and this was interesting they wanted to a step program so we work together and develop that on the pay schedule and
you'll see that reflected in here and there is a pay increase for each of the three years over the life of the contract and again um these groups as you guys know and certainly in our discussions bring an awful lot to our school district and um want to thank their bargaining team and the work that the board did in prepping to uh finalize this contract thank you any question comments roll call please trusty D yes trusty sterin yes trusty Nasser yes trusty win yes trusty belowski yes trusty Gator yes trusty wall yes motion carries we're moving to unfinished business is there any unfinished business to come to the board hearing or seeing none we're going to go to new business any new business to come in front of the board at this point we're going
to go to District point of prid Mr clein hands oh yes so um first and foremost I want to thank all staff members and all volunteers um for all of the end of the year activities so I've been out I've been trying to take pictures and um get these in my reports um but just a lot of people doing a lot of different things things to make the end of the year memorable for our students I know there's been there's the Bedford book giveaway the class trips the field days that have gone on um the awards events um just amazing the way that our staff goes above and beyond and I also wanted to mention how very proud I am of the class graduating class of 2024 for their accomplishments as I set at graduation
they earned um over $2 million in scholarship um opportunities for the students the and I I thank the board for um the graduation ceremony attending the graduation ceremony being part of that it was a wonderful event um I was just very pleased with the way and I want to certainly thank the high school administration and that whole team for putting on that event um it just is it's for a superintendent graduation really is like the Hallmark of the school year and I just was so proud of those kids and it was awesome especially afterwards to see the hugs and the high fives and just really something special so I do want to do that we do have a busy summer ahead of us finalizing the smart boot installation that'll be completed this summer so that
when staff comes back um you know that'll be we'll go through PD and that'll be ready to go again a huge kudos to this board for supporting that initiative and really um helping us become a safer school as we move forward also um students walk out on Friday and on Monday the construction companies walk in for the univent projects at the elementary so that was something that was approved long before I arrived but uh that work is coming to fruition all three elementaries will be getting um new univ vents um Bedford will all will be receiving air conditioning in those un events and the board um has directed through the through its committee work to and we have these out on the streets bids for um air for pul and party classrooms as well as
um HVAC for the uh Auditorium so um kind of moving all those projects together it's going to be a busy summer working on that we're also um working on finalizing the Bedford site Improvement project so we're working on that and I certainly want to wish all the staff students and parents a relaxing enjoying and a safe summer and we'll be working hard to get ready to welcome everyone back next fall so Friday is our last day of of school and uh I know the students and everyone's excited for that um if you could have seen the pictures of on the kids today at the at uh Bedford field day you would have been amazed last year apparently it was freezing this year today it was beautiful and they were having a riot so just a
wonderful time of the year so um just want to wish everybody the best and thank everybody for all their support so and I know that Scott has a couple of comments thank you Mr Clank hens in my new role with HR I'm proud to report that we are getting some very high quality applicants to the district an arbor schools for one has gone through a rough time recently uh with some budget discrepancies and staff are leaving and I've been reaching out and uh trying to get them on board here and I'm happy to report that one of the social workers that brought on board is from Ann Arbor she comes with the wealth of experience she's going to be a great asset to our district and I was also notified by Mr Mallette that a
number of previous D7 employees have reached out to the district wishing to return because they hear of the good things that are happening here so we are developing momentum I'm very proud of what we're accomplishing thank you can I do a I'll never object to happy a happy note um so I want to give a shout out point of Pride to Bobby hajet he was a D7 student and he currently works at Wayne Resa he's been asked to join the National cyber director Harry Coker at the White House along with other US Federal cyber security Representatives and they'll be discussing ongoing threats to the K12 education sector and to provide feedback on some of the Technology Solutions provided at the state and federal levels available to schools he's another fine example for of a D7

the following two virtual host servers and three video servers at a cost of 159,000 Elementary um School 900 Chromebooks 900 Chromebook licenses 900 Chromebook Imaging and preparation 208 Chromebook carts cost of 370,000 approximate and then Grant funded money we had um for ows 120 Chromebooks 120 Chromebook licenses four carts two interactive flat channels cost paid of 5259 again those that money is coming from Grant the other money about 530 again is General funds we're hoping for going forward we're going to have some grant money to use for other it stuff that we need but this was pertinent that we get it done for the upcoming school year we couldn't wait so that's why we decided to move the money like we did step two of the process is about what a year from now and
that is to update I believe the uh teachers getting them on board and everything updated for them so they will be the next phase and let's see meeting adjourned at 5:116 next meeting to be determined any questions comments thank you master I'm so glad that we had these updates together because they go hand inand she talked about technology the entire time um no it was perfect actually so we had our meeting Monday um May 20th at 3M um and I was chosen to be the committee chair but I guess that doesn't matter because um shortly after we kind of all came to an agreement like myself Mandy um Mr kleinan some teachers that were um involved that um this this committee was established because of our bond dollars our Tech Bond dollars and as you
all know I reported last year last summer around this time that we didn't have any more money um and so it kind of just didn't make sense for us the whole the whole point of the committee was the bond and and the money that we had and so you take that out of the equation you know me and Mandy are sitting here like oh yeah we should get these Chrome yeah we should do this when we don't know the first thing about anything in technology related um so we decided that we would want to bring a resolution forward to the full board to dissolve this committee um moving forward and then any Tech purchases any um Big Ticket items can go through the finance committee and then uh essentially through the whole uh board um
as as per usual um and so proba will look at a resolution sometime maybe at the next agenda um if you guys are all okay with that um and I don't have to be a committee chair so go me I'm just kidding I'm gonna join something else don't worry so yeah if anyone has any questions let us know I have one question yeah was that the real reason just so you would be care course not are you kidding me uh does anybody have any questions or oh Mr C yes sorry comment so uh actually it worked out quite well because um what um at that meeting so you know you kind of fall back on the way that you operate and so um at that meeting um after we concluded the bond tech meeting then
we kind of held an impromptu just District tech meeting we're going to revise that committee bring them back together work next um year together to bring the plan to you this time of year for the purchases that you spoke about on phase two to get a ready for the windows 11 migration and that's the staff and what they truly need so we've got our work ahead of us but it worked out great because um we're going to we're going to reinvigorate that committee and we're going to work together to develop the plan so that uh we're good to go for this time next year okay uh any question comments on that um and um so are we kind of looking like put uh resolution in maybe at the next meeting to okay just wanted to
kind of get some heads okay uh one last thing I have for other business is um just want to mention uh that uh I have received a letter of resignation for um School Board member Leslie winless to be effective the date of June 30th 2024 just to uh let anybody else know that and then I'm going to look into to see whether it would be going through the appointment for that or is there a chance for it to go onto the ballot I don't think there is but I think it's be really close but I'm just going to double check on it and I'll let everybody know so I don't know for sure I haven't been in this position for that so any other business before the board yes trusty gator one other thing about
policy committee I had asked board members and all those on the committee would July 17th work for the next policy committee meeting and I wanted to get some feedback from policy committee members if that indeed might work I can't I apologize I'm sorry no go ahead I apologize okay I I will be okay and with Leslie's resignation for June the 30th that means I would be the only board member at the time to serve on that committee on which date I'm sorry July 7 oh she said she oh sorry I'm jumping ahead you just can't attend that right I can't attend that okay well I wouldn't want to be the only board member attending a meeting so I guess I'll continue the canvas for in date okay thank you I had another other business matter
as well yes um so I emailed Derek um a question that I asked him to forward to the full board which he did so thank you for that it was regarding the educational Equity policy that we've been reviewing as a policy committee um and again the purpose of that email was to generate ideas from the board um to see if we thought it would be a good idea to host a town hall and here's why um it's a relatively new policy it will be new to the district if adopted by the board and I didn't want us one to do the work to be able to meet with Neola to be able to draft something if this is not something that Community doesn't even understand what it means and so I thought maybe from an
educational and informational standpoint that maybe we can have something like an open Forum to be able to educate the board if we indeed do not know what it means and what it could imply if adopted and the community about what this policy could mean um and so again I just wanted to publicly speak about that because again I wouldn't want the community to feel that the board is being non-transparent and moving along with its work without getting feedback from the community trusty Bowski um I'm just wondering why we would need why this policy we've had other policies come before us that we've gone over that maybe the community doesn't understand uh we just you know approved one for the opioid yeah the opioids um we didn't have a town hall about that we passed um
the readings you know the second readings of the other policies whole plethora of them you know at the last meeting why didn't we have a town hall about that why do we why do you feel there is such a need to have a town hall about this policy because it hasn't it's not mandated by the state the others have been or either recommended by Administration as well as this is something that's would be new like not coming from Neola something that is D7 specific and so because it's something totally new um to our district again I just thought having that education explained might be helpful to the board who doesn't even understand what it might mean or even to the district just the point of education and transparency any other questions and comments or concerns
and again because we're working on it actively and I wouldn't want the policy committee to continue working on it if this is something that is a move Point let's say um I'm % in favor of it I know we're not here to vote on it um barely here to talk about it today I didn't expect to have like a lengthy discussion my personal opinion but again I wanted to speak about me sending that email to Derek and asking it to be sent to the board Mr CL do you have anything that you on I just asking okay all right um yeah I kind of understand trusty about kski of you know it's like when we're you know even when the policy is working which of course that's an open you know for the public to
attend the policy meeting that's an option plus when we have our first reading that is also another a second option for the public to come in um I just don't know how well um Town Halls have been effective in the past well we haven't had one at our and it could be something that Wayne Risa um or someone from the comes to educate the public on again I just we've been talking about this and I believe to some people it's a completely new topic and I wouldn't want to continue working on that from a place um where people don't know exactly what it means and what it could imply yes trusty n um I would just like to add something you know does this necessarily even like can this be an initiative of the policy
committee itself you know I know policy committee meetings and all of our meetings are public um but even if we are able to frame it as a you know tanal you know sometimes we post it is anyone really even going to show up do they know like what the Forum is you know anything like that and can it even be engaging besides public comment so if we could even just frame a just a policy meeting as a town hall or whatever it needs to be that way it it's a little bit more inviting than just our regular posting that we have um and it's then it is the initiative of the policy meeting and whether other board members who may not understand it or um community members whatever it may be um it it's more
of a like um invitation it's more of a like it's not just like general you know public comment it's more like interactive that kind of thing um that way you know who comes comes who needs the information needs the information we are putting it out there because like exactly what you said I agree with this that um it is a D7 initiative um and it it may not necessarily be mandated as other ones have been so um yeah yeah I don't know why my mind went to town hall I just wanted to be more open so people know what we're doing as we're rolling through the process of reviewing it I'll just say um I think we should have had a town hall on the policy that allow teachers to take students to get abortions
um I don't know where Rocky you have to be under to not know what diversity equity and inclusion stands for um or why we need it in this District after the last at least four years that we've had but that would be my opinion I agree with that opinion and I'm afraid that I agree with that opinion I would hope that at this point people know what Dei means I don't I wonder if the community knows what educational policy would include and what it would mean operationally if adopted by the board and so again I think it's just an extra level of transparency um to get community feedback about it try darra I'm not opposed but you just said it um if people would know what this would mean operationally for D7 students and staff
I think that is it would be something that people would want to know and who's the one that gets to say that one you we don't have the policy yet two um you have a town hall and we have to be very thought out on how who's doing what and what the topic is and is it you know not just an explanation of Dei um but what does it mean for our district what would this policy look like and um what you know are you going to be asking people what would they like this policy to look like to get feedback for the policy that you're wanting to put together you you know I'm I I think I'm just not real clear not opposed but I'm just not real clear on what the objectives are
on the town hall other than to get you know what kinds of questions are you going to be asking what's the end game besides just giving them knowledge on what d is which you know that's it knowledge on but what does it mean for our district what would this policy that isn't even written yet mean for the district and that's why we could bring in someone to explain it uh chy belowski um I'm going to go back with what Derek said you have a policy committee meeting those are open meetings people can attend that meeting and get the information from the policy committee meeting not even said that and I agree with you both and I think the biggest thing would be just that they're aware at that meeting what you're going to that I
think thing someone just says policy they be like yeah okay that's fine but they say if policy about somethingone in particular that they're passionate about then they might be more up to attend so I think that would be the key thing of getting that advertisement out there I like that and then maybe when you post it make it not just a posting make it an invitation please please come and share your thoughts or whatever you're asking people to do come and learn I like and definitely uh maybe so that like it's in here so when we do our meeting we can actually also announce it during one of our meetings so there's a really a lot of head time notice for it too that was my only Point y y well I just want to
add that um singling out one policy and pushing it out to everybody is not transparency so if this is something we're really concerned about uh policy transparency with the public then we should be considering this for all policies not one specific policy we should be doing it for any new policy that comes in going forward um we should talk about any of the new policies we created in the past and just pushed on teachers and staff um I don't know what makes this policy so special compared to those new policies that were implemented in the past without the same kind of feedback or attention um or anything that would be coming forward in the future without the same time of attention once again our respect that we're drafting this this is not something that's coming
from Neola this is something that we're drafting as an that's why I said for anything we drafted in the past and anything we've drafted in the future we should give them the same Equity of treatment I can appreciate that but again we have not drafted a new policy from scratch the way just want to interrupt um that I'm going to say that I think what would be good is that for all the policy future committee meetings you know when we say there's going to be a policy meeting maybe also just mentioned what is going to be the general subject of that policy committee so that way nothing is being left out there's a chance of them hearing things so okay I feel like this is getting way blown out of portion I feel like you're
trying to be inclusive I understand what you're saying about all the policies I just you know if it was me I'd just be done with it I I mean I don't see that we're going to get to do it for every policy we're not going to get an answer right now it's open to the public but again I thought it was important to bring up that this one is being completely newly drafted by us with support of NE and I understand that I understand that piece and I understand you're wanting the inclusion that you're wanting yeah I I do I understand that right I get what you're saying but I have to go with lless I'm sorry s lless like if you're going to do it for one and I know this is new then
you do it for everything moving like you you you need to discuss everything like we should go through every policy then and say Here's what we've done this should be something that goes through this policy committee that's the whole point of it we shouldn't have to have a special invite because we're doing this one policy no if you're going to do that you're going to do that for every single thing she pointed out the abortion one we didn't discuss that like it should have been talked about so if we want to be transparent then you're going to talk about every single one but not that's a good practice moving forward possibly I have no opposition to that um trusty D before I get to you I just going to mention one thing even though you
put a policy in if you find out NOP that's not going to work we still have the ability to be able to change the policy correct so that's another thing too so I don't you know just want to let mention that so trusty D we also as board have two opportunities to review the policies and discuss them here so on all past policies we all had those opportunities to do that and your vote counts and if it and if it was you know if it's not the majority it's not the majority but I am not in favor of going back and saying these are all the policies that we did because you'd be going back to the beginning of the policy time if you want to say you want to move forward and that you
know there'll be more advertising on what the policies are then I'd be in favor of that you know if that's what everyone else is if that's what the majority of the board wants to do but I do think it's on us to remember we have two opportunities to review those policies before you walk through the door and state your claim when you get there okay so I'm seeing a kind of a fair amount of just you know moving forward just making sure that it's known what the policies are going to be um and that that's so I have a special separate policy meeting carefully okay all right any other business to come to the board okay at this time I'm going to open the floor to public comment number two if you have something you'd
like to bring up please just state your name if there's something well actually it's different now so we'll try to answer your questions if we can but please understand that we may not be able to at this moment is it on oh it is Heather standards 1440 m Street um Derrick's really lucky because I don't have any questions um I just wanted to say I was sad to hear that Leslie was resigning but I hope what she's resigning for is greater things and happier times and I just wanted to thank you for all the work that you have done on our board and off it that's it thank you welcome Karen laow parent staff member parah Union secretary on behalf of the um parah union leaders and all the district haris thank you for approving
