Amen. >> Thank you, John. I knew the funny thing about me when

I locked all my keys in the office, you had to go over. >> Excellent. Excellent. >> It's the second time. >> We're going to need a lock box on that door. >> I'm going to I was going to tell you a little secret. Maybe there's We'll talk about that later. >> Wants to go around the neck. >> Okay. You ready for a roll call? >> Yes. Can I have a roll call, please? >> Okay. More. >> Yes. Present. >> Pelich. >> Yes. >> Swack. >> Yes. >> Hawkins. >> Yes. Kennedy is absent, excused. And for the record, clerk Lorie Zelnak and Treasurer Katie Kennedy is here. All right. >> Okay. I have a motion to approve the agenda for this evening with one amendment on item five on old business. Going to put in items five auditor >> and there's two things about two different auditors here on this. >> I will make a motion to approve the agenda as amended. >> Support. >> All in favor? I >> I opposed. That motion carries. I have a motion to accept the treasur's report, please. I will make a motion to accept and file in the treasures report for October 2025. >> Support, please. >> Swag. >> Yes. >> Moore, >> yes. >> Hawkins, >> yes. Yes. General $10,920.39 major $8,6668 local $216. and Parks and Mill $1,88163. >> Support. Can I have a roll call, please? >> Hawkins, >> yes. >> Moore, >> yes. >> Swack, >> yes. Pichek, >> yes. >> Okay. Is there any public comment at this time? >> Good. New business. Okay. As you know, Tuesday was election day and I came in here and early and fired up the furnace and somebody decided our furnace was a great place to spend the winter and got in there and got burned up. So, this place was very stinky. >> Bummer. Yeah. So, >> so you need the ducks clean. >> We need the ducks clean.

So, that that's what that's about. And and I can't nobody can give me an answer on when the last time it was done. I don't know if it was ever done, but where I go back there, you could start a garden and some of the D was back there. What I saw, >> you know, so it it really needs to be done. And >> for the week, I kept turning the furnace on for a few hours, letting the heat up and the snow wouldn't dissipate. Wouldn't dissipate. It's not too bad now. >> It's not going to be a cheap one. >> No, but I can't get anybody in here till Tuesday for a boat. Oh, >> I I'll I'll and some of the ones I've tried and it must be awfully busy this time of

year because I can't get a phone to ring down there at some of these places. >> So, but I have a safety cape coming out. >> They're a big one. >> Yeah. So, I figured they're going to be expensive. >> Tell them you need a coupon. >> Is that like a There's one. >> So, that's why that's on truck. >> So, and the the furnace is 20 years old. So I might be looking for somebody to come in and inspect that furnace to see. >> Probably not probably not a bad idea to just get that cleaned as well. >> So let's go on. That's what that's about. So let's go on to old business. Forest Street has been a hot load of activity between me and the lawyer and Kaza Holdings here for the last

two or three weeks. We've been going over a lot of issu because John would email me and I said, "John, when are they going to do this? When are they going to cut the grants? when are they going to shore up this building? Oh, they he'd send me, oh, they did it. They come out and they did it. And a few weeks later, I said, "No, they didn't do anything." And they only cut the front. They don't cut the back part of the lot alongside the neighbor's property, and they're dealing with all the all the permanent stuff that come across from that property over to their property, and it's really bad. Now, >> the house is in more disrepair. >> It's got a couple of windows missing on the backside. They broke one window out

and they just took the window from the upper floor. But yeah, >> so obviously people are inside. >> Yeah. So people have been inside. They the neighbors have had calling the village and they called me and said that they're seeing them. I said, "You're seeing these people at night in the building." He says, "Yeah, we can see the light from their cell phones or flashlights." >> Why don't they just call the cops? >> Well, they did. Oh, okay. >> When the cops came to us, >> what are they going to do? >> It was the building. >> Well, obviously it's a B&E cuz it's not theirs. So why why is the cop calling you? >> Well, that's why I told John, I said, "Look, we got these windows." I just sent him a a bunch

of pictures, new pictures of the condition of the house that it's in right now. And that deck is danger all those posts are leaning towards the outside of the building towards the yard and the yard and and now the deck is being pulled away from the house. It's going to come down. >> It's going to come down. >> Yeah. The stairwells are rotten. You can't I wouldn't even go up there. That's the only way in the house. Of course, there's open windows. You go through there. We have to. Then there's trash. I sent him pictures of trash in the yard that they've never cleaned up. You know, and he said, "Well, they fixed the roof." I said, "No, I took a picture of that. That was just as bad as it ever has been." So,

he got mad and sent him a nasty letter and sent it to me. And, you know, so we're going with that. So, we're we're moving on. So, we need to get a hearing officer. And now he's dancing. We're going for it. This is enough, you know. So, so now there'll be something later on for street too, but it comes under a different heading. So, I'll get back to that. 2324 audit progress. This is a good one. All the promises that have been made to me by our CPA. And I called him this morning and he never answered my phone call. I said, "You know what? I got to go into town, but I'll try him." And I was in the office. I'll try. >> Did it again. and he answered the phone and immediately I

said this can't be good. So I asked him I since we had our second meeting was uh uh state uh treasury people and that was the first thing that came up on our meeting right >> how's the audit coming and I had to tell him what I told him what I had at the point in time we were going to be done he was going to be done by October and uh he I said I don't know how long it takes him to compile all that and file it and get it to you guys I said oh not long not long they were great they were half but then I called him today and he's got a a few more weeks left before they get the audit done. So maybe Christmas. However, in that conversation,

he also told me that after he's done with us, he's done with us. >> He does not want to be associated with the village anymore. I get that booked. >> I was done anyhow. >> Well, I took the pressure on him to get this done. >> Because he already started it. Yes, because he already started it. >> Yeah. Well, it it was at the point where he kept telling me I said, "If I pull it now, it's going to cost us more money than what we're going to pay him for what he's done and then pay somebody else. When Marina comes on board, we >> and as long as the state is fine with it, >> so they yeah, they're understanding, but you know, this is >> this one's really bad. This is really late

this this time, unfortunately." So, that's where we're at in the audit progress. uh forest street reservicing updated financial advisor funding uh slashf funding. There's three different things going on here. So where we're at now is is uh Katie and I had a meeting with state overfunding. Now there's a new funding year open now. So we but I can't fly until they have our audit. So hopefully we don't lose that window. Well, that window's only open for a short time. >> Yeah. >> You know, so but with we had a meeting last Thursday, the six with uh Lisa Mlan's office. It it wasn't really a it was more of a presentation on how to file for for better health in the House Appropriations Committee, which is a different section of the federal government. So, they have

money. She gets 15 requests she can approve for funding. And I talked to her her uh district director and he said and and we like road projects. They almost always get approved. I said, "Hey, that's exactly why I'm calling you." So hopefully, but that's you know that's going to be year 27. >> So that comes up in February, March time frame that we have to apply for that. But that will be for year 27. >> I don't know about 28, but I'll have to call him and talk to him about that. But that so so I don't know if it's going to help us anything with engineering. Matter of fact, I think he told us he that wouldn't help with engineering. This this money >> you cannot reimburse yourself for things you've already paid. But

for dollar for dollar matching, you can use money you've already paid into. So >> we're so lucky to have her. She's smart. >> That's good. >> Thank you. >> Yeah, >> she's thrilled to be here. So, um, on a financial advisor, I'm pretty close to having where I think we're going to go and I think, uh, I'm pretty happy with my talks with Benzinski and sons for the bond agency and, uh, Andy Campbell who has worked with us before as a financial adviser and the I like what he has to say. So, you weren't here, but so for your I came with three quotes. >> Okay. >> For they're all going to be about the same. They all start about $7500 to get to a bond over $11,000. >> So, it's even the fiduciary. Well,

it and they all work on the aspect. If they don't get us to a bond, we don't pay them. They fail. >> Oh, okay. >> So, that works pretty good. >> So, it all depends on how much they've got it to. >> Okay. >> And we need to do that before we expend too much money here. Mhm. >> because we won't be able to recover it. >> Right. >> So, >> right. >> So, I need to get that done. So, that's where I'm working on that. Okay. On to the mill park. Bit of good news in this whole meeting tonight. The mill park. We had another meeting uh on Friday morning Katie and I with uh Oakland County, two representatives, Oak County. It it seems like uh I don't know if you were here when

I was talking about this. Go ahead. We had a hadn't hit a hurdle and a block there that we if we couldn't get over it, we wouldn't be able to move on. But we've got some wiggle room from DNR and it looks like we're going to move forward to the next phase. So, we're going to start putting a program together to go to DNR and give them a a presentation of exactly what we want to do with those grounds. I'll tell you what we can't do. This was came back loud and clear before I even heard about it was they don't like craft shows. craft shows. >> Yeah. Don't like them. That's a no for DNR. So, >> I don't either. >> And and it looks like as long as as long as we keep

some of that area open for public recreation all the time, then we'll be okay. They stress that to always, you know, in other words, they don't like private things going on. But that takes us to the building. The grounds are okay. So, we're we're well situated ground. We're not going to have this meeting with DNR until after the first year. It's going to take us that long to get ready to do that with Oakland County and myself and Katie or anybody else that wants to chime in here and help put this thing together to take it to DNR. So, and I have to get a lot of letters of support. So, like Cooper Standard, Addison, I already well I'm going to coach them and their next meeting is November 17th. I'll be down there asking

for their support project. >> Is it just businesses or is it anybody individuals? So you can >> us. >> Oh, okay. >> I was like, let's just all write a letter. Cindy, write a letter. >> We're the nobodyies in this one. >> Okay. >> So So we're on to the next uh part of of the mill park, getting that that done going. So Brandon, the entrepreneur, is still with us, though I've kept him posted and he's going to be at the next meeting. I'm trying to set up a meeting the first week in December or second week in December. we'll get together and decide how we're going to approach this and what we're going to put together and and do in in the uh early or the later parts of winter February time frame. Okay,

on to the auditor. So now that uh Minister Dere is done with us and in September I brought this gala to you guys. Her name is Raina Emmens. She's the managing director and partner of PSLZ LLC. She's a CPA and we put her on we hired her in uh January of last year to be uh CPA for Notabort >> and she's been she's been CPA for Addison Township for a few years now and they really like her. >> And I found out today Addison Township is paying less for their audit than we're paying for ours. So maybe we'll save a few bucks here. >> Nice. >> And get it on time. >> So, but now that uh this is the sole proposal on this for the night. Um you guys allowed me to hire the

uh financial advisor. We put that on the board last month to go forward with it because there's not a whole lot of difference between the three people I brought >> to the table. But with her, I didn't because I feel she's pretty well vetted and and the people who are using her are very happy. Plus, she she takes on any size municipality and and she takes on smaller municipalities than us. She'll go down to 300 people. That's just a bit smaller than us. So, she's well suited to to working with us. And the sooner I get her working with Katie, the better off we're all going to be. Mhm. >> So, I I'd like a proposal uh to be able to go forward and hire her now that uh Mr. Dere has said he's done

with us. >> He's done with us. That's funny. You said Raina. What's her last name? >> Emmens. I just want to I will make a Okay. I will make a proposal to hire Raina Emmens uh as our auditor for the upcoming years. I don't know what I have to say on that one. >> Well, >> do we do we hide >> someies change every year? >> I was going to ask is that an annual thing or is this a Let me let me hold back on that prop on that uh motion. I >> I don't see it as annual thing if you haven't done it in the past. I It's not really something I'm real familiar with. >> Well, I don't think we did it annually because he took so long to do it. >>

Well, it's supposed to be every two years because we're small. So, but this was supposed to be 23 and 24, but it was supposed to be done in, you know, we gave them the books at the end of fiscal and then it should have been turnaround within a month and it's been years. >> He's been paying the work that he did for 20 years. >> Yeah. So, um, so I suppose we could like you could make the motion maybe like in a 2-year. >> I was going to say technically it' be 25 26 then she would 25 26. >> Correct. because then we would probably just make another one. >> Yeah, just hire her for the 2526. >> Okay. >> I do that first for the next audit run. >> It covers us for now

and then if you know when we need to we >> It's just a motion. >> Um >> and financially it makes more sense too I guess. All right, we'll restart that motion. Scratch the previous one. I will make a motion to hire Raina Emmens. Insert company name uh for the 2025 2026 tax seasons uh as auditor. >> I support. We have a roll call vote, please. >> Bellich, >> yes. >> Hawkins, >> yes. >> Moore, >> yes. >> Swack, yes. DPW update. Last uh month. I was looking at possibly bringing the uh mechanic in which is cost leak. We have a big we had an oil leak on the uh hydraulic leak on the truck, but Andy and I were able to fix that. It's not leaking anymore. So, the only thing I've got going

now with our equipment is make sure it's ready for winter. So, I might have to go and buy some equipment so that we can do it rather than having a mechanic come all the way down here and pay all that money just to check the ranging radiator and see that it won't freeze up. >> We don't have anybody locally that can do that. >> You know, I talked to Kurt, but I've talked to him about the air brakes. He didn't want to do it. He doesn't want anything to do with diesel. >> Okay, fair enough. But, >> but this is different. >> Like, what does Phil Star know somebody or something? Like, I mean, somebody with big trucks, do they know Well, we had to go to uh quite a ways to get this guy

to hire us. Nobody wanted to come. >> Oh, I might know somebody. >> I I'll give you a name. >> Okay. >> So, we've had somebody come directly to our house to work on our tractors and our dump truck. >> Um we don't have to go to him. >> Yeah. Nice. >> So, um >> if he's willing to come to Leonard, then he's willing to come. >> He could do that. Or even maybe Brett would come out and do it. >> So, um anyways, let me um >> diesels either. She doesn't want to help me. >> Yeah. So, let me um Well, our tractors are diesels, so I just have >> This is nice to have different options just I'll get your name. >> What we need for that truck is a 24-hour trickle charger.

>> Oh, >> because we're charging it all the time to start it. And when it gets cold like this, it won't start. >> That's not an expensive purchase, is it? >> I don't know. >> I haven't looked at it yet. >> I guess I've got them. >> They're pretty cheap. >> I thought they were pretty cheap because we've got a couple of people. set the charger on it for an hour and then go back and start it up and do what we got to do. >> Yeah, but like you said, isn't it better for the battery if it's on that triple charger instead? >> Yeah, I might have to replace one of the two batteries. >> Oh, there's two batteries. Two triple >> won't hold the charge. >> Does it have like the coil? Like

a lot of diesels have the coil you plug in and it heats up the coil. It keeps it warm. >> No, not that I'm aware of. >> It doesn't have like a heat block. >> Yeah, a lot you plug it in and it keeps it warm. >> I can't I'm not >> Okay. Do you want to ask for um a motion to for cash for possibly a new battery, a trickle charger while we're here just because it's getting cold? >> Why wait the month? >> Yeah. Otherwise, we got to push to December. >> Sure. >> I have no idea how. I'm looking right now to see what a trickle charger cost. I >> I say 500 would probably be enough for a battery. And >> that the 500 would be enough for charging. >> The

batteries are probably close to that or more cuz they're super big. >> I don't know what Mike paid on the last battery put in three years ago to put it in. So, I'm not what a battery that would cost. It's a It's a 24vt system. >> I'd imagine it be at least like 300. >> 24 volt. >> Is it Is it dual like or is it just one single battery? >> No, it's two batteries. >> Yeah. So, it's probably at least 300. >> Two two. The one battery is much bigger than >> Oh, I see. >> outside battery. >> So, it's Yeah, about 300 bucks. >> I would say I've seen 300 bucks. >> 309 about give or take. It's all over. So, >> just for the battery, >> 200 bucks for a for a

trickle charger is probably about adequate. 500 bucks to do it. >> Yeah, it looks like you get them 600. >> Okay. Um I'll make a motion to approve up to 600 for a new battery and trickle charger for the trucks. >> I'll support a roll call, please. Um, Swack, >> yes. >> Hawkins, >> yes. >> Pelich, >> more. >> Yes. >> I love the power of Google. >> Okay, on to the president's report. I have no nothing on freedom of information. for you, I guess. >> What possessed you to get the road plowed and then to the chloride? >> Well, it wasn't supposed to get chloride. It was only supposed to get plowed. I wanted >> Who told me the chloride? >> I didn't tell him to do that, but I didn't know until the

chloride was already almost done. I came back. I said, "Who did this?" I didn't I didn't tell Craig to do this. >> Craig doesn't do it. >> No, but he calls. Usually I tell him when I tell him we want to chloride the roads like in the summertime I tell him to go ahead >> all summer long nothing and then we get >> he just he just calls him he just called him I just asked him to plow the road I didn't ask him to uh ride but it was done so >> I'll mention that to >> it was already done when when I really the guy was sitting in the parking lot waiting to go home oh gez he's already done >> you went down several times. >> He puts a pretty good quote

on. So, I don't have anything for CDBG report. I don't think we have any. >> Um, we will be getting an update on that one just because some money was finally shifted. Um, and it's going to change our metric from 3.25, which it is right now, which is atrocious. They want it under 1%. Um, so hopefully that'll help with it, but then we're still going to have to move that money that I neglected to move that's left. Um, nothing we can do now though to move it. >> No. Okay. Kind of a done deal. >> Back to ordinance enforcement and that's going to take us back to 4285 Forest Street. >> Lori and I are working on a on a I have all the pictures that I took and uh we're trying to site every

ordinance we can against God holdings for what's going on over there. >> Clearly neglect. >> Yes, we're putting that package together. We're going to be sending that out pretty soon. Who do you send it to? >> That's why it was being held up. >> Well, what I found out was when they went bankrupt, >> they were going to put that house back in the receiver ship. They were just going to abandon it. >> Good. >> And but they didn't. Now they want to pull out of the bankruptcy. Now they're so they're playing this game. And then now this is this is a they've got three attorneys at different attorneys in this point in time. Now they've got another new attorney when they're trying to pull them out of bankruptcy. Now they don't want to be

in bankruptcy. Would it do us any good to find the other houses that they have in the other villages that they're dealing with? >> Oh, we actually have one. They sent one a couple months ago. All the homes and it's thousands. >> Yeah, >> it's throughout all of the states. >> I was going to say there was one I remember. I just remember them a few of them being local though. >> Yeah, you're right. There are there are some other local ones and other um >> I mean is anybody else dealing with the same thing or is there >> I don't know but we've had New Jersey attorneys >> and this is like class action size. >> Yeah, >> it's massive. Yeah, honestly. >> And then we now and then we had uh Maine attorney

and now we're at Pennsylvania attorneys. >> I mean this is honestly this is at the point where it's like the all of the courts to just go, you know what, you're done. Kaja, you're done. Everybody, you own the property free and clear. We're done. >> Right for this is nothing but a waste of money and time. >> It is. >> And like you said, they're just playing a shell game. And this is ridiculous. >> Yeah. This, you know, I told I don't know how many times I told John, I said, "John, I haven't been dealing with this as long as everybody else. I'm already fed up." And it's just getting to be more of a mess. >> And like you said, if people are in it now, they're going to get hurt. Our signs are

still up there that it's a dangerous building and what >> it comes back to the village. Somebody could get hurt. >> It should go straight to Kaja. We don't own the building. >> We're not allowed. >> We're not even really allowed to enter property, >> right? No. >> So, that's the problem is it can't come on us because we were told through their lawyer to our lawyer to us. >> Do we have to remove the sign and put it at the street? >> And what if some kids get in there and decide to start a friend? >> I mean, if we're not technically allowed on the property, should we have >> I guess we'll call the fire department. I know. >> The house next door. >> I know. I know. The house next door is

very close. >> Sure. >> They will. >> They'll do it. >> I mean, that's you know, that's that's unfortunate. So, it's I think it would I would agree with you. It would be >> We've been trying to take action, but we're not allowed to. Our hands are being >> No, I'm saying would we be liable? >> Um I mean, we've told our lawyer over and over again that, you know, we wanted to do something, but they've said that the Kaja Holdings people say we can't. >> I mean, technically, it's KA. It's them, not us. And I think once we get involved, we could possibly involve ourselves in it. And so perhaps it's best if we do what our lawyer advised us to is to stay out. >> Yeah. >> Mhm. >> Since they seem to

feel like they're handling it, >> which clearly they're not. >> So, uh, let's go on to the choice committee. >> Yep. Y >> kids. Kids are stupid. They're going after >> I think, uh, Bry's all done now with everything. Although she hasn't called me yet to say all the paperwork and everything. She was waiting on it to go through the bank is done. She said that would be two months and that's about where we're at. >> It's a four months. >> It's been since July. Since July. >> I didn't Well, >> well, she probably didn't file the she later than that >> about it and she said she was waiting uh until she had all the pigs. She was going to give it a couple months. >> There are people who hold on to checks

for a really long time. You got to give them their 90 days to cash their check >> to meet with time frame and then settle the books what they were going to do with all the junk they had left over. >> I emailed her after the last meeting and she just ignored me >> when they came in to set up people wanted a banner and somebody wanted >> those people had to move. >> Oh, okay. >> I emailed her after the last meeting and she had answer. >> Gotcha. Okay. >> Oh, hula hoops can go to the school. >> Yes, they had to go to school. Yeah, I asked her to get it out before the election and she because they had to move it physically move it to hear it >> on to the

cable commission. John cable commission they didn't meet last month but they should meet I think the end of December. >> Do you have anything from the decorating? >> No, I just just wondered if you're you guys are going to put up the decorations. >> You're not going to like hit me or anything if it doesn't get up. >> I could probably do that. Okay. November 15th, right? They got the date >> as long as it's before Thanksgiving. >> Otherwise, it's not worth putting it up. >> Okay. >> Because they're going to take it down again in in January. >> Okay. >> Mike said he help you. >> He's now I've talked to him about that this weekend. >> So, he supposed to be a little bit better this weekend. Like today was >> Is this

flags? >> No, it's the um it's the star of the uh memorial. >> Yep. the wreath over the over the window here and then the uh lanterns on the mill. >> Gotcha. >> We're changing flags. >> You don't want to do >> There's no reason to change flags. We had we had snowflakes up till June last year. >> Got it. >> So, you might as well just leave the American flags up there for me to shine up those poles anymore. >> You could shimmy you. You We'll come out push you up there. Well, I even offered help and they told me I wasn't tall enough. Like, he needed something. Like, it has to be Mike McDonald. Like, literally. >> Well, Mike's got they got the we got the we got the safety cage, but Andrew

hasn't used it yet. So, >> no, that's just it. >> He's going to help us put up the decorations and Andy will then know how to use the cage and we'll be able to go out there. >> But even last year with Don, I asked him, I said, "Don, I'll help you. I'll I'll whatever you need, I'll help." And he's like, "You're not tall enough." >> Even on the K, you have to be Mike McDonald. when Ivon she when she notified me of one of the banners down by Kurt's place >> Curt's banners >> I can't do it today and the weather hasn't cooperated since that day >> now I don't know if it I don't know how it's even up there it's just like hanging by >> one thing I just would hate to

see it fall into the >> so I guess we're just leaving okay >> it hurt somebody's car and all that >> I really uh don't have much from the uh North Oak open transportation authority they replaced one of the members of the board uh from Lake Orient here last week, last meeting, excuse me. That is everything else is we're putting together. You weren't here, but we had to do another consent agreement. >> Um, it has to do with assets. >> We don't have any assets invested in it. >> So, for us, it's still the same. Nothing has changed. So, >> we we signed ours and submitted it. So, that's that's pretty much what's going on there. I don't. Do you have anything from planning commission? >> Actually, that girl over there will tell you. She's

the liazison. >> I don't think we do. We haven't met in a while. >> I think we've got our meetings in, don't we? Or do we not? >> Have to look at my usually trying to circle. We had we had the Rosie brother or the Rosie Drive property that had come through and was denied. >> Mhm. Um that was a variance was requested for >> that's the Arendale property. >> Yeah, it was the Arendale property. So that was not a >> September or October. >> I think that was our last meeting, right? >> We need four for the year. >> We may we might need one more. That would probably be about it if if we do. But we can do that in like February though, right? >> Mhm. >> Yeah. So I think I'll

have to take a look at how many we've had. >> Yeah. I think we could go ahead and cancel. >> I I would cancel. So I will >> this is a busy month for everybody. It's not a great month to have a meeting >> and if there's nothing on the agenda to do nothing, >> right? >> So I will make a motion to cancel December planning commission meeting >> support. >> Uh let me let me back up. I will make a motion to cancel the November meeting. >> Oh my gosh. Thank you. My brain is moving ahead. >> Mhm. >> Support. >> Yep. Mine was too >> was made and supported to cancel the November meeting. >> The November. Yeah. This it feels like December when I look at the snow. >> Do we do

it all in favor for that one? >> All in favor of cancing the planning commission meeting >> for November. I >> There we go. >> Opposed? >> Hearing none. >> Carried. So on the Polyand Trail Management Council, um the biggest thing for us is because we have to turn in our community service credits because it's the end of the year for the trail management council. So I had to get that put together and uh with the help of Katie, we got it all put together and submitted to them all our community service credits for the year. So that uh that went quite well. They're happy. >> What is that? >> That's how we pay our dukes. It's our inkind >> in >> kind services. >> Okay. >> Yeah, pretty much. Yeah, we keep track of

all the hours we work. >> So, you're just you're cutting trees, you're removing stuff, you're >> everything we do. Got it. >> On the trail. >> Got it. >> Sometimes she comes and she requests stuff. We do that. Like we we did a lot of paving work for her today. Oh, today. This year. Okay. >> This one. >> Got it. >> And there's still more to go than that paving. >> Oh, and I'll tell you one thing that came up. They're looking at paving with asphalt from Forest Street up to the mill. >> Oh, >> so that will be asphalt >> in the near future here. >> They just want to do little chunks at a time. >> No, I think they'll do all thing the whole thing at once. >> No, I mean like

along the poly end because that's cuz then it just turns back to dirt again. >> Yeah. What's the point? >> The nation trial is not becoming a nation triangle. I am but one vote on the whole council. >> So >> I think there's spots that get really torn up. >> Oh. >> Just because they're really well traveled. Um and then there are people who aren't supposed to be using like electrical bikes. >> Electric bikes and other things on it. It just shreds it. >> It's not so much >> Yeah. in certain spots. And I'm wondering if that's maybe why she's trying to mitigate some problems >> where she's even talking that it's >> well well let me speak to this for a minute. It's not so much the the pedal bikes the electric bikes with

the with the electric assist because they don't go fast. >> But you have other electric bikes now that are motorcycle. They're foot pegs. They don't have pedals. >> They go up to 45 miles an hour. They're getting on the trail. >> Oh. >> In different spots. >> It's dangerous. We had our first incident about a month ago. >> Okay. >> Back here and Andrew was out and he stopped them and told them get off the trail. But they did not have uh ebike bicycles. They had motorbikes. Those are the ones that are tearing up the trail. They're causing a lot of trouble between Oxford and Lake. >> They have trouble with that all the time. Now we're having it out here. I I can see it as a as a continuing problem. >> I wasn't

sure if it was like a water over the road too that that they're constantly grading or something. Yeah, but he >> a little bit of everything. >> We've not seen him back since. >> Okay. >> But it's cold. It's cold. >> So that takes good. Village Park. Everything is in the lawyer's hands for the make the proposal. I asked for to have it for this meeting. I didn't get it. So we're going to have to go one more meeting. >> Really? You think so? Huh? >> I hope so. >> We're about done with that. >> He should be done. >> Oh, that's for you guys. So, >> um, >> this was just putting >> all you do is ask. I mean, I'd like if I wanted to have this done this meeting and it didn't,

uh, didn't show up in our >> This was a property description, right? >> We can't do that. >> Survey had property description. >> I don't know what their problem is. >> Oh, well, it was Row Engineering was the problem. This guy is tenacious. He was literally calling them every other day and hounding them and they just >> Was there nobody else then? Well, the way it works when you get under contract with somebody and you've paid all that money, it isn't like you can just go, "Oh, I'm over it. I'm just going to walk away because we've already given them like $7,000 or something." So, you got to stick with it, you know, go find somebody else and they're going to charge another $7,000. It's just that they really I can honestly say >> I

did catch Fred outside. I >> He did call I talk to Fred that >> that everything was at the Lord. The the uh certified deeds are are now recorded. We have heard this so many times now. How long has this been going on? >> Well, there comes a point when we're done with it. So, >> just letting you know >> that that's that's the best I can give you, guy. You know, I've been keeping you as informed as I can off my nose until we black it off. >> Okay. >> Skin off your nose. >> It's probably just such a small project that they forget about it. >> Probably is. >> Yeah. But it but it matters. >> No, absolutely. You've been fine. I think that's the whole thing is that he has been making

a massive effort. I mean like you know don't get don't get mad at him. He's trying really hard. >> I can get mad at him if I want. >> No, but you know it I want it done so I can move on to the next phase. >> Right. >> So I can have that and the irons are there. The new irons are there for for the property. That's all done. Everything's done. It's just now waiting on our lawyer. >> It was just actually filing it and finishing it. >> Yes. So I community development I have nothing >> nothing >> no report. Oh, okay. 7:38. 7:39. >> That is uh we'll adjourn the meeting at 7:38. All in favor? >> I I wait. >> Who who made the motion and who support it? Phil did. I'll

support it. >> Okay. And then Okay.
