Yeah, this is uh something as uh if you've been on the board for uh past one year, this is something we do every spring at this time of year. Um, state requires that this is done by April 15th. And the uh the staff that you're seeing on this honorable dismissal list are staff who are part-time uh who have been hired uh after the first day of work. Uh many of them like mid-year hires as needed. Um or there people who are hired on a one-year contract. Uh perhaps they were covering a leave or something of that nature. And so when all these staff members were hired, they were told that this would be a part of the process um

I just one thing I wanted to uh remind the board and perhaps anyone who is uh paying attention to this board meeting is the uh in 4.2 2, the resolution for honorable dismissal of teachers. One thing I failed to share was that often times
005we hire uh many of those staff back uh particularly staff um maybe who uh have a one-year contract and then they've done very well and the person or the leave is no longer effect and there's an opening. Um there's off there's several uh part-time staff on there that we also bring back on kind of an annual basis and it's kind of a common understanding between us. So I just wanted to be clear about that. for 4.3. This is simply a resolution um to authorize notice of a non-renewal for a probationary teacher, which essentially means a non-tenure teacher.
