Can everyone please stand for the pledge? >> I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America >> and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. All right, we're going to skip around in the agenda tonight while people still file in for their awards. Does anybody have anything to add to the agenda? >> Can I please have a motion to approve the agenda? >> Motion. >> Vivian and Tiffany. >> Peter. >> Yes. >> Board member code of conduct review. Uh it's exhibit six for uh next year. Sorry. Um I'm going to just review real quick. You'll see that we are recommending a reduction of uh the number of core teachers in second and third grade down to eight instead of nine. Uh keeps our class sizes though right around

00320. Uh with our current enrollment, we've seen a drop in enrollment in recent years. So that's uh that's a recommendation for next year for the core classroom teachers. And then on the next page of exhibit six, you'll see uh we've made we've trimmed the staff in a few areas uh that are outlined. You'll see the list of 202526 employees and the list of 2627 employees. It results in an overall drop of four staff members for certified staff uh for the staffing plan for next year. >> All right. Anybody have any questions on the final staffing plan for 2627? >> No. >> Can I please have a motion to approve the final staffing plan for 2026 2027? >> Motion. Second. >> Vivian and Tiffany. >> Yes. >> All right. Item B is just the uh information

about the our 2026 summer school program and you have a flyer on your desk or right in front of you that outlines the program. Uh the the one change as I've mentioned to you before um we don't we no longer have a grant that can fund this program for us. So we are going to have to charge our families for the summer enrichment classes this year. Um we're trying to make it a uh you know a a break even as close to break even as we can on this. Um but uh so you'll see the fees in there. We're going to send this out to parents this week. I think tomorrow. So this is nothing you have to approve. I just wanted to get in front of you. They've done a team's done a good

very good job of putting this all together and getting the courses. Uh we got some exciting offerings for kids if they want to take advantage of it. So we'll be pushing that information out soon. Any questions on that? And then my last item is just the end of the year calendar reminders. uh eighth grade graduation Tuesday, May 26th. As system Do you want someone to take a picture for you? >> Well, you sure you got Okay. >> You sure? >> Okay. Thank you all very much. Congratulations parents. I don't I think this goes without saying, but you should be extremely proud. There's 180 kids in each grade and they selected one this month in each grade and your child's represented. So she's very proud

of that. Thank you. >> All right. Again, congratulations. You guys are more than welcome to stay for the rest of the board meeting, but um it's super exciting. But if you want to leave, feel free to do so. >> Thanks again for coming and congratulations to all the students. >> See you guys. Thank you. >> First time we've had kids scared. >> Oh, okay. All right. Does anybody have any questions on the February employment recommendations? >> Sorry. >> Because there is none. That would have been funny if someone said, "Yeah, >> I know, right?" >> He was testing you out. >> The administrative assignments for 2627 are Dr. Biancalana, elementary school principal, Miss Jess KTO Scott, EL coordinator, Mr. Josh Cornwell, middle school principal. Mr. Matthew McCully, assistant superintendent of business and operations. Miss Rachel Mullen, primary school principal. Dr. Aaron Pitman, assistant superintendent of student services and human resources. Miss Nicole Stroop, teaching and learning coordinator. Uh we have reduced the admin positions by one for the 20 for next school year. Uh school fees exhibit 8. >> I think you need a motion. >> Oh, we have to approve it. >> Yeah, we have a motion. >> All right. Uh can I please have a motion to approve the administrative assignment for 26 27? >> Motion. Second. >> Tiffany and Vivian. All in favor? I >> I >> voice vote. >> It's not roll call. >> Oh, voice. >> Any oppose? >> Eyes have it. >>

I'm way more on top of stuff than I >> know. I know. >> It's so rare. >> All right. School fees 26 27. Anybody have any questions? >> I we did not have a finance committee meeting on this, but I I was just recommend we just couldn't get one scheduled, but I was just recommending keeping the fees the same for next year. Um, and so yeah, it's up for discussion though. >> For PE uniforms, yes. Are we making sure >> we're taking note of who's actually getting one and who's not or are we charging all students? >> We're not charging. >> I don't believe we're charging all students. Did you do you is it okay? I need to check that then because >> I didn't know if it's an automatic fee on there because you're

probably paying before you register. So I don't know. Okay, I will check on that, Ash, because I I don't 100% know on that, but yeah, we shouldn't be because they're not all getting them. So, okay. >> Is that on the registration form? >> Yes. >> Would you like a >> I don't know how it looks? Uh Matt, do you know on the on the registration form when do they do they select PE uniforms? Is how do you know how that works? >> Okay. Just Okay. We have to find out is if she puts it on everybody's. I don't know for sure because not all kids get it. >> What do we do with >> It's optional. Now, >> so is there some kind of way to question? >> There is. >> Okay. Okay. We'll make

sure we get that right. What what happens to the kids that don't pay it >> for the uh PE uniforms? >> Registration fee. >> Oh. Huh. So, we are well, if they don't pay the registration fee, they can't play athletics. That's the one thing we can hold over them is extracurriculars. Um, but I will tell you, we have we have a number still. And what we're doing right now is as soon as the eighth grade year is done because we try to give them time to pay, but as soon as eighth grade year is done, we send them to collections. >> So we're we send them a notice. This is your last chance to pay and after this is going to collections. So we we do that. >> Now how I guess how does it

work with them getting a Chromebook? Because I think the last time we talked about this like Chromebooks weren't for everybody didn't have their own because now we have that technology insurance fee. >> They have to pay for that if they they have to pay for the technology insurance fee if something breaks. Uh they have to pay for that. So they all do have a Chromebook, but I can't we can't withhold it. I mean really our hands are tied with some of the legislations in place now. We can't >> Okay. >> We can't withhold it. But we can with the with the chrome brakes. Uh they have to have they have to pay the there's a fee that's part of that for free and reduced. Matt, do you know what the number is? 15 bucks. $15.

They got to pay that if the Chromebook breaks and they otherwise we have to charge them the full amount for the break. And uh um be I'll be honest with you that even the state uh the laws that are in place make it difficult for us for that too. But we do charge that fee. All right. >> Yeah. >> Anybody else have questions? >> Can I please have a motion to approve the school fees for 2627? >> Motion. >> Second. >> Doug and Ash. >> Yes. >> All right. Uh, does anybody have a question on the resolution authorizing the dismissal of a fourth year probationary teacher for reasons other than reduction in force? >> Can I please have a motion to approve a resolution authoring the dismissal of a fourth year probationary teacher for reasons

other than reduction enforced? Do I have to read this resolution? >> No motion. >> Second. >> Ash and Vivian. >> Yes. Yes. >> Yes. >> Any questions on the honorable dismissal dismissal for a teacher? >> Uh, can I please have a motion to approve a resolution authorizing the honorable dis dismissal of a teacher for the reason of discre decreasing the number of teachers employed? >> Motion. >> Second. >> Doug and Tiffany. >> Yes.
