001No one. >> It is 6:33 and I'm going to call a business meeting of the St. Louis Park School Board um to order. Um before we get started, I will read the land acknowledgement. We are gathered on the land of the Dakota and Ojiway peoples. I ask you to join me in acknowledging the Dakota and Ojiway community, their elders, both past and present, as well as future generations. St. Louis Park Public Schools recognizes um St. Also acknowledges that it was founded upon exclusions and erasers of many indigenous peoples, including those on whose land the school district is located. This acknowledgement demonstrates a commitment to dismantling the ongoing legacies of colonial power and the district's desire to support the ongoing work of local indigenous communities to thrive in our schools. Um, next thing on the agenda

002is approval of the agenda with the items that we have, we have just two items, some action items. These are carryover things from last year that we need to take care of um before we welcome our new board members to the to the board here. So, um, uh, there's, uh, minutes, uh, that we need to approve and a resolution authorizing issue of certificates of elections. So, it is recommended that the school board approve the agenda for January 13, 2026 as presented. Do I have a motion to do so? >> So, moved by Celia. Do I have a second? >> Second. Um, by Virginia. Then, uh, any discussion? All those in favor say I. I. Any opposed? Passes 5-0. Okay. Okay, the first item, it is recommended that the school board approve the minutes for November

00312th, 2025 as presented. Those minutes are in board book and uh hopefully you've had a chance to take a look at that. Do I have a motion to approve those minutes? >> Moved by Taylor. Do I have a second? >> Second by Sarah. Any further discussion about the minutes? Then all those in favor say I. I. Any oppose? Passes 5-0. Um that brings us to 4B, the resolution authorizing issuance of certificates of elections. Um we have a uh resolution authorizing the issue of certificates of general election and directing the school district clerk to perform other election related duties. After the time for contesting the election has passed, 7 days after canvasing dates and the candidates's final campaign financial reports have been submitted, the clerk of the school board is directed to deliver said certificates to

004the persons entitled thereto and issue a form of acceptance of office and oath of office. Whoa. Um so, uh do I have a motion to bring this forward? >> So moved. >> Moved by Virginia. I will second it. All right. Any discussion about this? Again, this is a uh procedural thing that we need to take care of so that we can add our new board members here. So, any discussion about that? Okay. Then all those in favor say I. I. Any opposed? >> Passes 5-0. At this time, we will adjourn this meeting and reset ourselves for our next meeting, which will be our organizational meeting in just maybe three or four minutes. We'll see here. But I will adjourn us here at 6:36.
