001We will need a motion to approve the agenda of April 21st, 2026 as presented. Motion. Second. All of those in favor? Aye. Any opposed? Motion carries. Moving to election results, the Wentzville School District has had three candidates file for the three available positions on the Board of Education. Therefore, pursuant to section 115.124 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, no election was held. I am pleased to announce that the following individuals shall assume office as members of the Wentzville R-IV School District Board of Education for three-year terms: Bertha Schultz, Shawn Johnson, and Kirby Wilson. The Board of Education is adjourned sine die. So, I'd like to take a moment to thank Jen Olson, Renee Henke, and David Lewis for their three years of service to the Wentzville School District as board directors. Um thank you Jen,
002David, and Renee for all your hard work, dedication, the countless hours you spent dealing with everything. Um I truly appreciate all the support you guys have given me over my time in the superintendency and wish you best of luck in your next and future endeavors, and please make sure to don't be strangers. So, thanks, guys. I got to ask a question. >> [laughter] >> Yeah, no, I just want to take a moment to to to talk a little bit about what the three past three years have been from an outsider. And it's it's something that if you're not involved in the amount of effort that it takes to maintain a school district, you don't understand the challenges that our administration, teachers, staff face every day. Um there's a combination of of dollars and cents and
003pride and and just figuring out how to do the best things for the kids. And I want to commend the staff that's put together under Brian. I don't want to name names cuz I'll forget somebody and it'll be a bad thing. But I I really appreciate, you know, whenever we ask a question, whether it's exactly on point or off, we always get thorough and complete answers. And that's while still having to maintain the other things going on. And for those that are out in the outside, you're looking for some reason to be mad at what's happening in the school district, you got to remember and think about the time and effort everybody's putting in here. And I I just wanted to commend everybody. Wanted to thank you for the support. And uh I just think
004that it's it's quite a learning lesson and I learned my lesson that I didn't run for re-election. >> [laughter] >> Thanks, all. Thanks, David. Thank you, guys. Okay.
