001good morning big hallo I wanted to take a moment to say hello and Happy Holidays and I also wanted to talk to you about our fundraiser that you've already started probably participating in hero's got what they call it every hero needs a squad it's our pennies for patients fundraiser and I wanted to kind of talk to you about it I think that there's a lot going on with it I want to make sure that you are successful if you want to participate so the purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money for leukemia and lymphoma cancers which is a blood cancer and unfortunately lots of students even your age have this disease so what we're hoping to do is raise money to help research and find if you're for it and what you can do
002with your family is a letter went home hopefully or will be going home in your backpack and it describes what you can do to earn different prizes one of the things that you can do is work with your mom and dad to set up an online fundraising page if you would like at home and if you do the first prize you will get is a Hero Squad tattoo if you raise $5 using the change box that you've been given you can also come get a Hero Squad it's called a power ring and then if you keep raising money you raise $10 you get a Power Hero Squad bracelet if you raise $25 you get a keychain called a super sidekick and it looks like this and then I'm lying if you raise $50 you get
003a Hero Squad t-shirt or $100 you get a stuffed animal that looks similar to this so what we're hoping to do is through pennies for patients which is the name of the fundraisers we're just hoping to raise as much money as we can as a school and if we do we can win gift cards and free lunches from Olive Garden if you like that restaurant so if you'd like to participate please talk to your mom and dad about what this flyer says at home and then bring back any money that raise in your little box your teacher will add it to your classroom fundraising box and then if your class raises a lot of money you can't win a class prize as far as like a lunch from Olive Garden goes as well so the
