001as we begin in spotsylvania county where the school board is meeting right now over a controversial book ban leaders could be forced to reverse their decision tonight it comes one week after the board ordered the removal of quote sexually explicit books from school libraries that was considered unconstitutional by the board's attorney and tonight librarians teachers parents and students condemned the move along with the comments made by two board members that advocated for burning the books seemed as though an attempt not just to remove books because they're morally bad for our children it seemed as an attempt to censor our education simply because they disagree with it and i just couldn't stomach it especially with it being tied to words such as book burning that rhetoric is poisonous that school board meeting is still going on right now a decision on the books hasn't been made yet we'll keep you updated
