001that you can see that we you'll see the way that it's figured up for high school on this side. Well, what makes it so special, especially according to my students who I pulled before this meeting, is [music] that the teachers treat them like family and they really care about them. And then of course our students make it special. They work really hard money the past couple years semester. >> Thank you very much. We have a high achieving just culture overall culture here whether it's academics or athletics [music] that's what really makes us special. third year band director. They're one of the smallest bands there. >> We had a great football season this year with the football team made history. Uh our baseball team did really well last year and went all the way to state.
002And then on top of that, our ACT scores [music] just keep going up and our accountability scores. We just have it's just a great place to be. >> [music] >> Uh today we had the opportunity [music] to view Clarkdale, both zones here at Clarkdale. Uh academic excellence, uh great leadership, great teachers, [music] great students. uh opportunity for us to go out to look at those things that have been improved on campuses, but also have an opportunity to look at those things that that need to be uh improved. >> We always have limited resources. We have to prioritize where those dollars go. Um but physically coming here looking at what needs to be done kind of helps the prioritization to figure out what's the next step. I really enjoy coming and seeing the school today. Um
003it's good to get out outside of the boardroom and kind of connect the boardroom discussions to what's actually needed on the campus. I'm really proud of what the administrators, the teachers, and the students have done at Clarkdale and hope to continue to support them and whatever they need to continue to grow and and uh do the best that they can for our district and um continue to get better in life. >> Yeah. Uh just another great visit out here with Clarkdale administration of our high school and our elementary and uh the great things that they've got going on here. It's uh definitely a family atmosphere, a community school zone that uh has high expectations [music] and the community here has high expectations and uh you know, we're just just glad to see that they're achieving
004achieving at a high level and uh continuing to look to get better each and every day. [applause]
