This is the swearing in of trustees from our election. The public portions of the board meeting are being recorded recorded in accordance with district policy 1420 and section 2-2214 MCA. By remaining in this meeting, all participants and attendees acknowledge they may appear on the recording which will be placed on the school district website for a minimum of one year from the date of the meeting. Um, anyone wishing to speak on anything during this meeting, please fill out the pink sheet and submit it to Mary Kay, the secretary for the board, as soon as possible. First item on our agenda is the canvas

002votes for May 5th, 2026 election. Mr. Patrick, Madam Chair, members of the board, um the county sent me the official final results that uh we can approve. Um we had for the butai technology fund levy the total ballots mailed was 20,043 ballots cast was 7,059 with a voter turnout of 35%. We had 4,188 people uh voted for. We had 2,742 people that voted against three over votes and 126 over under votes. And then for the elementary general fund levy, we had um 18,447 votes cast or mailed 6,519 cast and that was 35%. And then for the levy, we had 4,24. and against 2468 two over votes and 25 under votes. >> Sorry, we just have a motion from trustees to approve the official final results. >> Move to approve. >> Is there a second? >>

Um to all of you, I thank you for your public service. You know, being a public servant can be very challenging at times and the pay is not very good. Um, but it's a critical and important role in our community. I believe our communities are only as good as our schools. And I feel we have some of the best. I I feel we do have the best.
