No, >> micro. There we go. Now the microphone is working. >> I've got you. >> Okay. We just did the pledge and we have a quorum. Phil is going to be late. So, um, so we don't need to take minutes because it's being done automatic. Okay, >> we're recording the video so we go back. >> Great. Introduction to visitors. This is Dan McGee, our owner's representative. Um, is there any public comment? I don't have any public comment or communication. So we'll go to number four which is action items which was the board consider and possible action to approve the selection and hire of a general contractor as recommended by the board's facility committee for the BCHS ASIT building repair project. And that committee was um myself and Roxanne and Cole. And we met with Dan

McGee and Josh and interviewed the three contractors that had sent in their what are they called? RSPs. >> RS. >> RQ and P. Okay. Anybody Anyway, would someone from the committee like to make a recommendation, please? Hello, Phil. I I would make a motion to uh approve the selection and hire Langless for our general contractor. >> Is there a second? >> Okay, it's been moved and seconded to hire Langless as our general contractor for the repairs on the ASIT building that we call it. Um is there any discussion? >> Go ahead. I mean we can say we so we interviewed Jackson um Langless and Swank they were all good. I mean I think Lang was just a little bit you know but we did a point total and had a little pitch for us some

questions and different criteria and at the end Langless was just a little bit ahead on the point. But all three of them did a bangup job and um >> been happy with >> we could have been happy with any of the three of them. They all brought really intelligent people that gave good scenarios is what our project needs and what needs to be done. And like Cole said, just language just came out a little bit on top when we did our rating system. So, >> we were very fortunate to have such good options to choose from. >> Yes, we were all highly recommended work all over the state. Right. >> They've all worked on school projects and done different things and um you know, they've all done work in Dylan. Um Langless has worked on

Rocky Mountain Supply and McDonald's and they have the vigilante contract right now. Um Swank has done a tremendous amount of work at the university and which one did the >> Jackson was at the hospital. >> Jackson the hospital just the latest hospital. >> Yep. And I think Swank did the middle school, didn't they? >> So I mean all three of them were familiar and they just were really really good. So anyway, you hate to tell two no to tell one yes. [clears throat] >> Is there any other discussion? talk about backups. >> I don't think so, do we? >> We don't need to. We can talk through the process committee. >> Yep. >> Is there any other discussion? If not, all those in favor of hiring Langless to be our general contractor for the ASET

repairs say I. >> I. >> Those opposed passes unanimously. Um the only other agenda item that we have is we had talked about having the um January board meeting on the 19th on a Monday. We had talked and thought maybe we should have it on Tuesday the 20th. Monday the 19th is a Martin Luther King federal holiday and the Georgia Bulldogs might be playing for the national championship Monday night the 19th. So if it was okay with everybody, we thought we'd change the meeting from Monday the 19th to Tuesday the 20th. Does that seem equal? >> Be okay if we had it on the 20th. >> Yeah, I was here late. You're right. >> I actually now have to be out of town on the 20th. So if there's two of us that are gone,

is that an issue? Possibly >> I could potentially zoom though. I could zoom. I could get where I need to be and I get on a Zoom because it's at what it would be at 7. >> Yes, I could zoom. I could zoom. >> Would you be available, Lori, on the 20th? >> Yep. Yep, that works for me. >> Chris and Cole, would that work for you guys? >> I could be. >> That's okay. >> All right. All right, if that's okay with everybody, we'll change our meeting from January 19th to January 20th at 7. Is there any other business to come before the board? Dan, I'd like to thank you for everything and all the work you put into this coming down and Josh for coming in and getting this all organized for us.

So, that being said, I'll adjourn the meeting. Everybody have a happy new year and I trust everybody had a good Christmas. All those in favor of adjournment say I. I. >> Thank you, Lori. Yep. Thank you, guys. See you. See you next month. Happy New Year.
