Okay, >> you guys want to sign up and introduce yourselves? >> Sure. Who are you? >> Um, I'm Declan Mitchell. I'm Canon Welch. Um, we're here to talk about Expedition. I think it's a great experience for us just because it's a great way to get back into the school environment without having your classes or your grades being affected. Like, it's just a great way to get back with your peers in like after the summer break. I also think it's good to like collaborate, especially if you get new classmates. I think that's a good way to like kind of like see friends you haven't seen over the summer and like get like better relationships with your fellow classmates. And I also thought like activities we did were really fun and I thought that they like helped

our class work together, like get a stronger bond with each other. >> Were you guys really excited coming into freshman year? Like, hey, we're going to go on expedition this year. >> Yeah, I heard this year last year. Yeah. >> And it seemed super fun. So, I was really excited. Yeah. >> Cool. Awesome. Can you just talk about where you went? >> Went to Ren Campground. We can't for camp by the river. What was the best activity? I kind of liked hiking up to the cave or I guess going to West. That was really fun. Yeah, I think the rafting was and like the zipline. It was super funny. The whole experience is really good. Yeah. >> Thanks, Jess. >> Thank you. software. Um, my name's Elijah and I think expedition is really important because

you can obviously you can reconnect like they said with your peers and we already live in the outdoors and like I think it's a great way to connect with the outdoors just before school starts and yeah um yeah I think it's a really good experience because a lot of people that are like new to school get to um get to like be around the classmates before just jumping into school and like try new activities and it's yeah just like fishing and walking around in the woods is is fun. >> And you guys find the beat, right? >> Yeah. Yeah. At the top. >> Yeah. Yeah. It was pretty that was a good experience. >> Yeah. Really fun. >> Yeah. >> Where did your experience take place? Um >> we were at Highlight at the Reservoir.

Yeah. It's great. >> Thank you. >> Thanks, guys. >> My name's Taylor. My expedition experience was really fun this year. It taught me a lot about how to deal with rain when camping trying to top my entire time. And then it was a really fun experience going down to Paradise Valley cuz all I've done is drive through and I didn't even know you could go Summit Tikes and camp up there. over cool campgrounds. But it is really important for move with the new classmates because it makes it so they're not strangers to the group >> cuz that first day of school they're just kind of isolated and you go on expedition the class is suddenly one class again. >> Nice. >> Having gone expedition all >> Oh, sorry. Guys, um we're sinners and we went

up to uh lake and we did a backpacking trip and I'm Elie story. >> But having gone on an expedition all four years, I've really seen our class just grow together and mature through this because we've gone through a lot of just hard things together. Obviously, as freshman year, it's not as hard, but sleeping in the rain for four nights is a little rougher. But just going through all of that with these people, I grew to really trust them and it kind of taught me that they would have my back no matter what. And it creates a better environment in the cloud. >> Great. >> Yeah. Um, just bouncing off what Alis said, I also think you're you get really good at being like independent and self-sufficient when you don't have like your parents for

a couple nights and like especially when you're like in the top of the mountain pouring rain all your stuff wet. I don't know. It's like a great >> It's Did you guys enjoy like if you look back at it like starting out as freshman, sophomores, what you progressed into. Do you see a lot that you over those years at those different types of expeditions? >> Yes. Um definitely the first year just kind of playing games the whole time and then this the our final year we were actually attempting to survive in the woods. But it was it really a lot of progression was made and I think that like the steady just change of experience is also really helpful because it just kind of shows you that change is slow but it's really good just

the process of it. So >> excellent. >> Yeah. >> And do you like over the four years because some people would think like I I would think you know oh well you you live here like everybody does that all the time. Did you have classmates who kind of this was their first time out in the outdoors despite the fact that they live um in something in an environment like this? >> Yes, I was the first person I was the only person who was first time going on a backpacking trip and but then most of the people have spent time outdoors um just be because of where we live but the actual hiking up into the mountains carrying all your things I was the only person whose first time was that. Go ahead. Well, that mud

coming out was pretty cool, too. >> Yeah. >> Oh, you were there, too. You want to talk about your >> I was make sure they were covering everything. >> Yeah, we were covered in >> Yes, >> it was overall great experience. >> Yeah. Awesome. >> Okay, >> great. >> Thank you. Thank you. >> Thanks for coming. >> Yeah, thanks for showing up you guys on time. Look at this. >> Thanks, Dr. Isaac. Getting all that rounded up. Appreciate it. >> Glad they all remember. >> Yeah. We'll move on. >> How long has the school been doing that? >> I think since 2009, actually. Barbara could probably answer that. Barbara, did you guys do expedition the first year of the high school? >> Yes. >> Well, somebody said yes. So, I didn't have I mean, it

depends on what you count as the first year of the high school because we had the interim high school for those years. >> Freshman But the first year of the high school, we did have it. >> Every year, I think >> you were there, didn't >> I? I was on a Google call. I was waiting on a Google call. So, I'm sorry I missed it. >> They do that. >> I I had the wrong link. >> We didn't split up, though. We didn't, did we? Well, there was there was there were two seniors that graduated the first year, but uh it was because the whole in creating a new high school, the they wanted to ground uh they wanted the sense of place grounded in our curriculum. So, uh all the teachers and staff did

null training. >> That's right. Yeah, I was going to say that >> they could lead. Um, and then from there it's it it sort of took on its own >> meaning. But it but they did that was intentional. >> Yeah. >> Is there anybody that was on staff that did that null's training that's still taking these trips? I wonder. >> No. >> I don't think so. >> No. Patty came with it. >> So I would say since 2009 it's been going on. Did we do it 2020? >> When we came back hybrid >> we did not. No we Oh no. That's the only year to it was when we came back hybrid. >> We didn't do it that year but we we did it the year before and we did it was >> 15 years.

So even was a ninth grade. How many kids opt out every year? >> Across the board, I would say to >> actually I think I've seen the it seems like the numbers have decreased for opting out. It's become particularly we used to have senior classes to be a little bit smaller. Fewer would go. Um but now it's like got almost everyone, but there's always a handful that want to do college visits, you know, or just >> take advantage of that. >> Yeah, >> it seemed like there were a lot this year. There wasn't first seniors. Yeah. That this year. >> Yeah. I think every year it's kind of the senior class has been more and more that have gone >> might be one or two kids per grade maybe. >> That's what I would say

per grade. Certainly no more than a dozen across the across the bandwidth. >> Great. That was again, thanks. >> Any other questions here? >> I'll move on to the superintendent. >> Yeah. So, I sent this out, but I'll I'll quickly go over it. I just gave a snapshot of our enrollment is 363 today. It was 363. So, we're going to get budgeted at 361. That was a week ago. Um there's two out of district students that are coming in. Um they're on the agenda today, actually. Um so, we'll we'll have a complete breakdown of that next week. Be interesting to see what we count in February um when the ski program starts, you know, when people move in for the winter. Um and then just a quick update on House Bill 408. We had six

we have 634,000 available to us in those tax credits. I have the entire amount pledged um as of yesterday >> from four different donors that are broken down and obviously I don't share the names because it's confidential tax information. >> Um two donations at 200 one at once before. So now Corky and I and Libby and Jarrett will focus on just getting those claimed as quickly as possible. Um the housing project I put the uh preliminary drawings in there for you guys to see. I think I I've mentioned this before. we kind of had to move away from the original idea because the HOA was less than thrilled about what we were building and and so we're going to do the same initial idea uh but just two triplexes that will meet that will meet

the square footage requirement of the HOA. So essentially the same thing but just in one unit but again six I don't want to call them tiny but six smaller places um that are going to be perfect size for one individual you know for individuals or even a couple um and then the budget I wanted to break down the budget for you guys too just to to keep everybody up to up to date on what the budget was if you remembered we were looking at about 1.5 mil for the entire thing. Um, we still have remaining uh 375 from YCCF. They're just waiting for us to to get that to take that. Um, we paid that levy for 175 to help finish this project. We have 350 from our bond proceeds. You remember we were gathering

interest and we >> we weren't supposed to do that from the bond dollars and the the auditors are continually saying get rid of spend this please. Um and and then we've already allocated 435,000. Um the units are going to be about 800,000 and ballparking infrastructure at about a half a million. But I think we're going to come in on the 1.5 95 more than that. 98% sure we will not have to take any debt >> um to have those occupiable. Actually, >> that's good. >> That price is for all three units, not per unit or it's per for three per triplex. >> Yeah, they're three whatever that is 39 whatever 389 I think. So that's that's for Yeah. delivered and then I mean there's going to be a little bit of ancillary cost like they

don't come with washer and dryer so we have to get that um those kinds of things >> and then we're doing that um rent based on the same scale we have next. >> So we we'll we'll discuss all of that when they get ready and we'll just add it to our current structure and however we want to uh rent those out. My my guess is they should come in slightly cheaper because they're smaller, >> right? and they're um meeting him on in Great Falls. >> Yeah, >> that's nice. >> They've been great to to work with. So, one thing we're working on now, so we had to we have to resubmit this building for lease or rent, which is is simple pro procedurally, but we're kind of so we're really waiting to hear back from

the HOA just to get a real an initial like, yeah, this this seems like it will work because we're in a kind of race till December 10th to get in front of Yellowstone Park with the builds. >> What's going on in the park? >> They're building. So, if they're using the same company for new housing, and if not, it'll only put us back by like six or eight weeks, but I'd like to get in there before them. So, if you remember Christy Tate, who did all of our building around here, um, she's also our builder's rep on this, so she's really pushing on the HOA. So, fingers crossed. >> And were those each independent septic systems? Are they tying into our existing? >> They're independent. >> They are. Okay. >> Perfect. the the old housing

wasn't overdesigned, >> right? >> So, >> It's okay. Yeah. >> Perfect. >> Yeah. They're nice, aren't they? >> Yeah. I mean, just to have that option for someone coming in as first year teacher or whatever it may be. I'm happy that we've added this. >> Yeah. Yeah. I think they're going to work great >> additionally is great. So, >> great. All right. Thanks, Dustin. the high school that many >> which is nice >> which was fantastic by the way >> it was great >> really have the community support and the student council's organization and execution um it's always fun to support artists right and so there's a lot of people to thank so the PTA the booster club Spanish peaks and Carrie Chapen she they really worked hard to put on a beautiful dance for

the kids the montage with all that great food. Um the sheriff's department, BSCO, Town Center for Big Sky, Big Sky and YC Fire Departments for all their efforts. You know, it's really important that we have a fun week, but a safe week. And it really takes everybody partnering together for that. So, thanks to everyone. And then with that, now that that's over, we move on to the Halloween dance in a week and a half for the middle school. So, October 24th, uh which will complement the uh the the Broadway production shortly thereafter. um for academics. We're back to learning this week. We're not uh wearing crazy clothes or having crazy hair anymore. So, math testing's done and those reports went home and then based on the results, we're offering additional support for students that need

more support in math and reading in our middle school. Um and Dr. Brooks sent that email out explaining that to the parents. We have the PSAT next week and this is the time where 11th graders can qualify for National Merit Scholars as National Merit Scholars or Prospects. um and it'll be online. And then we've begun our college counseling um pretty intensely for the grade 12. Miss Martinez is working with students, particularly those that have early decisions that they're doing um or applying ED. And then um for professional development tomorrow, um the staff is getting together and looking at all of our MAP data and then our student voice data um the survey that we sent out to feel to get a sense of how students are feeling and then from there we'll make our smart

goals. um as a group and then as departments and down our non-tender evaluations in the middle and high and we look forward to our training with Jessica May on Thursday and Britney can help me. It's the behavior code. Is that the name of her book? So she's a big wig coming in to teach us how to support kids. >> Awesome. >> So thank you. >> And that's all here on campus, right? >> It'll be here. Yeah, Thursday. >> That's great. Yeah. >> Excellent. >> Thank you. And thanks to the elementary school for participating so much on our our homecoming week. >> Yeah. And you're on my thank you list. Good segue. >> Well, thank you. >> Oh, yeah. >> You guys hear me? Okay. >> Team worked hard, too. Thank you. >> Go ahead. >>

Okay. You hear me? Okay. >> Y >> Okay. So, I did want to thank Marlo and the student body of the high school for including the elementary school in all the homecoming. um activities. It's a great community builder. Um we had lots of crossover with older kids in the building and um I don't know, lots of warm and fuzzies. Um thank you to Hannis for supporting um our students with middle school students um teaching them volleyball and flag football and soccer. Um thank you for the Big Sky Fire Department. Last week was um fire prevention week and so they were on campus several times talking to our students about safety and then they brought their burn trailer which is always fun and this year they let it burn a little bit longer and really created

some extra excitement. Um thank you to Spanish Peaks. They hosted our fifth graders um for a field trip which is a first time and like provided everything and funded everything for us and that was a really nice community connection. Thanks to our PTO for a great walk to school day and a carnival. Um, and like Marlo said, we're back to learning, teaching and learning. Um, our beginning of the year testing is all complete and we have plans in place for student success. And then a final piece of recognition in the PYP, a really big piece is students taking their learning and putting it into action. And so we had second graders in the building um at the end of their unit of inquiry learning about invasive species. taught everyone else about um invasive plants and

then we did a campuswide weed pole with um Grow Wild. So that was really fun. >> Great. >> Thanks Britney. >> Yeah. Thank you. >> Move on. Do you have activities? >> Yeah. Uh so the soccer teams are trucking towards playoffs this weekend. Girls in Stevensville, boys in Columbia Falls. Um leaving Friday. Football is wrapping up the season. We have final home game. Senior night is Friday versus Sheridan. Then we're on the road to Laneier. Um and looking playoffs is looking optimistic, but uh yeah, so we're wrapping up the season five and two right now. Uh volleyball is two weeks I think out from the district tournament. >> Yes. I don't know that they're going to compete though because numbers. >> Oh, gotcha. >> Yeah. Um, some people had some trips planned I think. >>

So that's what I have heard to thus far. Can they compete as a JV team? >> Yeah. >> So just Yeah. As a reminder, we played a JV volleyball schedule this year due to kids going out for the sport. >> That said, um the middle school volleyball program is really quite strong >> from a participating participation perspective. So, we look for that to kind of start turning around. Middle school sports, I think middle school boys basketball starts >> week and a half >> in a week and a half. >> Um, so and then high school, I think the first day for high school boys basketball is November whatever that Monday before Thanksgiving, >> like 17. So we're trucking right between >> I know it seems like there's no downtime really for much anymore >> in

general. So great. Thanks for that. Um business manager report would be >> okay. Um payroll is moving along smoothly. We had our second full payroll on the 3. So that is fine. We had a busy week last week. Um the auditors were here on the 6th and the 7th and um all went smoothly. We received an initial draft of their report, but there's a part that we have to add and everything before we get that complete report. Um Dustin touched on it, but we also had the count day on the 6th and um we had 361 students. Um, it's not an official count yet because of uh the OPI reporting system is just having a little trouble actually getting the 4K students in there correctly. So, we just don't have an official, but that was

one. >> That's great. >> Awesome. >> Thank you. Moving on. Uh, no committee reports. We'll just keep writing to discuss action, please. [Music] I move to approve the maternity leave without pay for Julie Bremer for the dates of November 13th, 2025 through April 13, 2026. I second the motion. >> Thank you. There's not a lot to talk about. Julie's request for this is in the packet. I mean one thing is that date it's the 14th and I think when I wrote the recommended motion was I just said kind of in my mind minus one day from that. So knowing right whatever we're really just kind of approving the the leave without pay if if something happens you know on the 11th we're not going to have an expectation she's here >> till the third >>

yeah student as >> yeah any other discussion we'll call for a vote all those in favor >> I I >> Any opposed pass unanimously >> I move to approve the resignation of Bill Burns, >> my second dad. >> And I think I I emailed all the trustees. >> So bummer. >> Yeah, it seemed like he was working out really well. The kids liked him. Unfortunate, but how's Andrew doing? >> Yeah, he's fine. We have a candidate, too. >> Any other discussion? Call for vote. All those in favor? >> I. >> Any opposed? passes unanimously. >> I move to approve the US equestrian association uh the Scholastic Clay Target Program, Olympic Development Program and Big Sky Ski Education Foundation as a non-sanctioned activities as non sanctioned activities in the Big Sky School District. >> I second

a motion. It's a lot lot. I don't even know that that's the end of it. So, >> we do have policy that governs this that was drafted I want to say in 2017. Um, and these are for activities that aren't related to the school, but a lot of our students participate and essentially they involve a lot of training and traveling. So really is what this does is the organization agrees to give us our roster. They follow the same rules that we would with our own student athletes or anybody participating in an extracurricular or co-curricular program with regards to grades and attendance and and all these other things. Um >> it it's it seems like a lot but like a couple of these only have one like the US equestrian association has one student that participates

but it is a lot. Yeah, I mean this particular student misses quite a bit of school. The same class target program that there's only one student, but it's, you know, it's something that they're doing at a pretty high level, I think, in both of those things. Um, and then the OGP is is is Olympic development program, soccer, and then everybody is quite aware of what BSS >> is. Um, I mean, I think Matt, you were on the board when we first >> Yeah. did this. >> Yeah. And and really it was for the ski team, I think, primarily back then >> because we were missing we had a lot of racers, things like that. Yeah. I remember bringing that >> to the board and presenting and doing stuff like that which was which was great.

>> Does this change the way we treat any of those entities >> as far as >> like permission to get out of school? >> Yeah. I'm going to pull my day early because we have to drive like because they don't really set the guidelines of. >> So that >> necessarily >> that's one >> gray area in that the short answer is yes. Um and then you'll have it's a moving target, right? >> You know, some people will want to go, well, we have a ski competition in Jackson that starts on Friday. We're going to leave on Tuesday to walk the course. Prek ski it. Pres it. Post ski it. Right. And you know, at the end of the day, we just treat the absence like an absence. You know, >> by and large though, most

people are pretty conscientious of it. And I mean, the the high school, we have a high school teacher, the high school principal can maybe speak a little more to it in detail, but it's really about they miss a lot of time. >> They they need a lot of time for training. >> Yeah. >> That's a big portion of it. They leave at noon on Wednesdays generally and >> Fridays. >> And Fridays >> if they're skiers. Yeah. >> If they're skiers. >> Yeah. Because we have a Wednesday. Yeah. We have a midweek program. >> Yeah. >> Weekend program. >> Yeah. And then when they do go away for competitions and and some go to, you know, they might go to different areas or different spots in the country for for races. Yeah. And again, by and

large, it's been my experience that most parents are pretty responsible around how much they they are out of school. And we haven't had a lot of issues with having to call them and say, "Hey, your students aren't doing well." And when we do, or when we have in the past, they respect that. >> Okay. >> Is this kind of standard at other schools? >> We worked No. Um, and we worked with Whitefish was kind of the closest we could find back when we brought the policy into place. >> Wasn't back then yet. So, I bet they have a different policy now. >> White Fish. >> Well, Bridger. >> Oh, probably has something similar >> because their program is really big right now. So, >> um, but Whitefish was, you know, a smaller school, lots of

stuff going on. you know, they have a pretty serious youth hockey program and youth figure skating program. So, the they were very helpful at that time. Um, but I would say like, you know, if we were to look at the like football teams that we play, for example, um, I mean, they might have something like this for harvest time. >> Yeah. So they so they'll give you their itineraries and then any extra days beyond what's on there are just absences. >> No, that they don't we don't even get that detail. >> Okay. Just the list of >> they just give us the roster. >> Yeah. Okay. Oh, just >> and then the parents get in touch and >> Yeah. cuz I they they don't generally at least the skiing um participate like everybody doesn't always

go to >> some might go to something that's in >> B. I'm right aren't I? >> We should have just had her in >> it is a lot. So yeah, but it's good to have that comm. I mean, as long as the parents keep up with the communication, that's huge, obviously. And yeah, okay, >> it's working. >> Seems to be working. >> Yeah, >> right. Yeah, graduating classes. >> Excuse me. Some of our most accomplished students were skiers. >> Yeah. >> Full students, right? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> And you know they they just get after it. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. Never. >> Yeah. I mean I think a lot especially racers and things like that they have a lot of time and they do spend a lot on that academically while they're gone too.

>> So I mean from what I've heard from the coaches things. So >> and I say I just think co actually just paved the way for us to be able to do this right systems in place for >> kids when they're not here. Right. Right now >> exactly. Yep. And we've refined our leave absence form a little bit too just to be more clear in communicating with the kids and their parents about what the expectations are under. >> Yeah, it's >> we have a lot of in school, but we also exactly flexibility. >> Yeah, >> that's the beauty of living here. >> Yeah. >> Any other discussion? Okay, >> we'll call for a vote. All those in favor? I >> I >> Any opposed? Pass unanimously. >> Uh I move to approve Jeremy Harter as

an activities driver. Second. >> I mean we only have one driver for sports game. >> Um and just see I mean it's possible. This is this is a possible scenario with playoff soccer and football in the season. Yeah, >> and playoff travel. We might have drivers. >> We might have to go different places. >> Um, and he's a soccer coach, too. I don't know what the plan is for this weekend because Wayne might be driving that. I'm not sure what uh >> um you're home this weekend. >> Uh no, actually, yeah, but still we still need two. We need two people. Um, so that's just the beginning because if something, you know, if if they continue, right, >> then next week we're in L, you know, just >> Yeah, exactly. >> Wow. >> It's ongoing

problem really got rid of >> unfortunately. Uh, any other discussion? Call for a vote. All those in favor? >> I. Any opposed? Barbara, you're on mute. You're muted. >> Sorry. >> I was just gonna say, what's the progress on self-driving um school buses? >> Yeah, >> good point. >> It's It's not very good progress, but the restaurant thing that's happening now is people because they realize that we have this massive um bus driver shortage. So, I've been receiving these emails from folks. They have a new school bus that's painted like a school bus and it takes like 13 kids and they're like, "You should get these because you don't need a CDL." And I'm like, "Okay, but we would need >> Yeah. And still have to have someone drive it. >> 10 drivers, too. Okay,

we want to get please. >> Uh, I move to approve CARST as a transportation provider and to rent a vehicle from cars. I second the motion. >> Great. This is just a piggyback from number four. Um, we've done this in the past as well. Use them as a driver works well and we've also just read a bus bump. John's been in touch with them. Um, and either one of these scenarios is is going to be okay for us should we need to do that. >> They're ready. They have people. >> Yeah. I don't know that >> if you know they're chomping at the bit for, but they said they could make it work. Okay. >> Um, depending on what we need to do. If nothing else, we can get a vehicle from them. >> Yeah.

Because well, even with if boys and girls both lose soccer, are they done? >> We're in good shape. >> Then they're that's it. One and done. Okay. >> They're going to win. But yes, >> a question about what is our so I people have mentioned Michael I get my CDL and drive what what are what do we offer them >> if they wanted to become a driver. >> Yeah. >> Like for training. >> Yeah. >> So how it's worked in the past and it would work now too. You have to pass the written test. There's not a lot we can do for that other than give them the study manual. So once they get the manual and they pass that written test and Wayne will do everything with them about how to be a bus

driver, okay? You know, we give them the bus to practice in. He shows them how to check all the tires and the brakes and all that kind, you know, everything you need to do to be a bus driver and then we'll provide the bus for them to take the test to to be. >> So does it cost them money to become a bus driver? >> I mean, they would just be out of pocket for that upfront test which and it's like nothing. >> Okay. because I the information that I got was different. >> I mean, we would even pay him to >> Yeah. >> That's what I thought. >> Yeah. I mean, and yeah, we could give them back to the test or just, you know, you we pay like Jeremy Mitchell, we trained him.

Andrew Blessing, we trained him. He dropped his license. But, you know, we also paid while they were practicing. >> Yeah. >> Training. >> And isn't there a bonus? Didn't we bonus? >> Yep. We have a splitted bonuses from when you start to finish. It's 1,500 for a semester >> for drivers, right? Yeah, for >> but activities drivers that's a >> that's an okay gig >> if you like sports and sitting >> and that's an hourly even >> to deal with activities right yeah is that all information on our our website >> I mean the fact that you were looking and what >> it's posted on there I'm just going to refer to because there there was like a lot of information. Yeah, the information just Yeah, I was like I'm pretty sure >> they just

call me directly too. >> It's not a lot of time on a basketball trip. >> Yeah. >> I mean, is that the whole time you're gone? >> Yeah. >> I mean, yeah, it is pretty good. more than the teacher thing like on an hourly >> like but if your kid is on time >> but the time you spend watching the games is yeah >> we're going to be there anyways drive together like too much Great. Any other discussion? Seeing none, call for a vote. All in favor? >> I. >> Any opposed? Unanimously. >> I move to approve outofstate travel for the eighth grade expedition Yellowstone trip. We're going to be staying at Mammoth, which I did a couple years ago. Um but we did it in the spring. both of the longtime rangers that have run the program retired last year. Um, so last year there there were like five different rangers we worked with because they were training new people and the people they've hired were >> great, but like there were things that we did last year that Harvard's like we've never I've never played that game or done that thing. So that's kind of, you know, you get new people and new activities and perspectives, which is which is good. >>

Yeah. >> Great. Um, I'll call for a vote. All those in favor? >> I. >> Any opposed? Pass unanimously. I move to or I recommend or I make a motion to accept the consent agenda as presented. I second the motion. >> Any discussion on anything there, coaches, teachers, nothing vote. All those in favor? >> I. >> Any opposed? Pass unanimously. I was supposed to put this as part of my report, but I can add it on the end because I wanted um you have two more years on your term. You have one more after this >> after this >> year is finished. >> You have one more after this year is finished. And Trustee Dodd is up for there's one seat up for election in the spring. Okay. I mean I think >> I thought you were >> let the new board get seated. Okay. Um or the current board let the election happen and then I think we can have a more rich conversation about what that might look like from a timeline perspective. Um what you would like >> I thought that was your >> Yeah. Yeah. It's just not that very

well could be okay. I just don't I just didn't want to like I just don't even two years. >> Yeah. You have two years. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And then Yeah, we'll see. >> Well, I know it just you can't do it in >> everybody's been talking over each other. What was the conclusion there? >> We've got two more years. We have time. Time is becoming a factor yet there's plenty of time. >> Okay. >> Got it. >> Yeah. So, we'll have >> wait until after spring election to reassess. >> Yeah. >> Slowly at first and then all at once. >> Definitely. Yeah. Thanks, Daniel. Good. One more person in. We'll see. >> Sorry, but I thought I thought it was okay. I agree, Danielle. I think that's good to it's good to discuss

No candidates would be available in August. Yeah. >> Um but as

soon as the new board gets seated then I think put together. >> The new board you mean by the new board you mean next spring >> correct? I just sorry. Okay. So, you're saying in next June is when we would next have this discussion. >> Yeah, I think that's probably a good time. Know, I wasn't I wasn't involved. Well, when you had the actual >> Oh, the interview was like the the candidate phase was Yeah. Mayish. >> Yeah, that's what I thought because we were still
