001o'clock will bring this meeting to order. Please stand for the uh pledge of allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. All right. Thank you for everyone to be here. Uh we have no guests tonight. With that, we'll move on to public correspondence. Uh this is the portion of the meeting for comments on matters not already on the agenda. Comments on agenda items will be accepted when that item comes up during the meeting. Interested persons may also submit views in written form to the clerk or superintendent prior to the meeting, and those comments will be brought to the attention of the board during the uh correspondence or public participation. I'd like

002to say have public comment real quick. Um I had some questions regarding uh special meetings. So, just for informational purposes, I wanted to clarify the difference between what a regular board meeting, a special board meeting, and an emergency board meeting are. So, a regular board meeting is held on the second and fourth Monday of each month, and those meetings are at 6:00 p.m. A special board meeting can be called by the chairperson or two trustees, and requires 48 hours notice to the public. However, that 48-hour notice can be waived in an unforeseen emergency as stated in 20-3-322 MCA. Um the only business conducted at a special meeting is what is noticed on the agenda. An emergency meeting involving possible personal injury or property damage, um the board may immediately meet immediately and take official action

003without prior notification. So, all this can be found in our board policy manual. It's policy 1400. Um and on these special board meetings, the time fluctuates. It is whatever time works for the majority of the trustees. So, sometimes it's early morning, sometimes it's over the noon hour, sometimes it's on weekends. It's whatever time works for us. So, boards regular board meetings have to have a set day and a set time. Special and emergency board meetings fluctuate. So, I just wanted that to be clarified in the minutes. Okay, thank you. Thanks. Anything else? Okay. Move on to new business. I am presenting the agreement that was brought to the board for consideration for Robin Nance.
