Let's call this meeting to order. Please stand for the pledge of >> allegiance. I aliance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for it stands one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all. All right, everybody's here tonight. Any guess any announcements or recognition or anything like that? >> Recognitions. >> Yes. >> Well, absolutely. >> My favorite part of my week. Pony Awards this last month in in December. Um, Brooklyn Padrazza, Alli Coar, uh, Grayson Moser, and our bucket fillers, longstanding award program at the elementary, Toby Link, Piper Link, Tanner Bell Jr., and Remy Clark. I would also like to throw out a big shout out to Miss Noel for her wonderful uh, Christmas program she put on. It was great. I love it because if you ever need

access to her parents, that's where you get it because they're all there. So, um, thank you, Noel. It was awesome. Okay. So, our bucket fillers for December, we had Payton Burns, Tristan Eastman, Bella Drexler, Henry Sessions, Jake uh Krebs, where anyway, um Ben Hosner, Chance, Bixby, Kase and Yellow Robe, John Nie, Dax Rita, Aiden Wyoff, and Urban Elliot. And then for um the student of the months was Dax Rita for sixth grade, Aiden Woff for seventh grade, and Urban Elliot for eighth grade. So, but I wanted to say another thing. I know this is for staff, not just students, but um we studied the energy bus at our school this year from John Gordon. You should read it. It's really cool. But um so from there we started doing energy captain awards and so there's

shout outs for the staff and I didn't copy it for everybody but I just wanted to say that it's just really cool to be able to see that. Um it's like a little shout out note and then that the staff gets to pass it around. So in other words I would say a shout out to somebody. For example, I can read like the first one and I can make copies next time to share with you guys. But so this one is for Emily Vincent and someone put on here is for Miss Michelle Peterson. So they take turns passing it around and it says deserves recognition for jumping right in with a positive attitude. Her smile is contagious. She's an encourager of students and staff. And so from there Emily um we put them on the

bulletin board and then people just go ahead and fill them out and I have like five pages and it's just amazing to be able to see the morale and stuff that's being shared. So just really cool um that they continue to do that. So there's lots of shout outs even to tech department. Just lots of people on here for for helping and stuff too. So great stuff also um with our band concert too. Um Rachel Connor put on a great Christmas concert along with Holly lately who assisted too. So lots of good things happened. Thank you. >> And you have our December attendance competition. Um December is always a tough month for um attendance, but uh juniors were at 91.2. 29, sophomores 89.70, seniors 88.27 and freshman 86.64. Um, athletics really takes a hit, especially

once wrestling starts. So, um, December student of the month awards, freshman was Bristol Small, sophomore Maddie Tarret, junior Morgan McManus, senior Danielle William, and our Rose County Public Health Buddy, not a bully winner for November is Ethan Kreps. So, >> perfect. Thank you, All right, moving right along. Uh, 4.1 procedure. This is a point in the meeting for comments on matters not already on the agenda. Comments on agenda items will be accepted when that item comes up during the meeting. Interested persons may also submit use in written form to the clerk or superintendent prior to the meeting and those comments will be brought to the attention of the board during the meeting. Do we have any public participants? Okay. Panel one consent agenda. >> I move the Cure Public Schools Board of Trustees approve the

consent agenda as presented. >> Second. >> A motion second. With that, I'll go over the vote. Uh Francis Hi, >> Sabrina. Hi, >> Angie. Hi, >> Tiff. Hi. Hi. >> It's been a while. I almost forgot your names. All right. 7.1 board agenda and governance calendar. Only thing that changes we just moved anybody wishes the end of the month to the last meeting. Correct. >> Did everybody get that? >> Yeah. I just got this to you. >> Thank you for that. Evan had a small panic attack last week. I didn't get it done. >> Took it out on me. >> I can't call it right now. >> All right. With that, we'll move on to new business 8.01. Wrestling out of state travel. So, our wrestling team would like to travel to Warcraft tournament in

Wyoming. I guess we have done this before. So, I'd like to propose that they're able to go to that tournament. >> I move the Culture Public Schools Board of Trustees approve the CHS wrestling travel to Morcraftoft January 23rd through 24th, 2026. >> Second. >> Okay. Motion to second. Any public comment on this? >> Any further board? >> Francis. >> Hi, >> Sabrina. >> I >> Andrew, >> hi. Hi. >> Hi. >> Let's get in form. >> Yes. >> All right. Uh 8.02. We have some resignations for your information. >> We can skip that one. >> That's right. >> I want to thank Evan for leaving us in a way better spot than he found us. >> Yeah. like I don't know what we did before you and I don't know what we're going to do

after you, but I appreciate everything you've done for us. >> I agree. Thank you. Thanks. >> For the record, I would too. I don't think Evan or his crew have missed in my building >> and just 100% on not once was I cussing, you know, technology. >> I tell you, um >> people like Evan are hard to find. >> Yeah. >> We're going to miss him. Yeah, we are. >> I remember when we hired him, it was let's get it done now. >> Yeah, it was quick before someone steals them. >> Yeah. Well, I appreciate that and I'm working on a plan to help this transition to where it's not just a total shock to the system. Bill and Chris are in good shape and work on some documentation and some helps for the future

tech supervisors so they don't have to spend a full year trying to figure out what's going on. Have a little bit easier time to come into it. >> I appreciate that. Thank you. >> Thank you. >> Uh 8.03. >> Okay, >> Mr. O. We got it. All right. Well, in light of Mr. Kirchner leaving, we um conducted interviews and advertised and like to recommend for the CPS supervisor curriculum instruction, Katie Noure pay would be starting at 78,000 and again that be prrated depending on the start date. Um the district would like to fill elementary position. So there's some little caveats here. um it will be vacated by Katie before she's contracted with supervisor curriculum instruction. So this is just to let her know that once that happens that she'll be hired. Um we're advertising right

now. >> Does that need to be in our motion then that it's pending? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Please. I move the Coastal Public Schools Board of Trustees approves the hire of Katie Noser for the CPS supervisor of curriculum and instruction for the 2526 school year uh pending filling the elementary teacher position that she will be vacating. >> Second. >> Okay. A motion second. Any public comment on this agenda item for the board? I sat in on this interview and I thought uh Katie did a really good job and I'm excited for her to get a chance to do this job. >> She's helped out last year before in our curricula with the testing coordinating and doing that and she's doing it again. Um other things too. She's even last year in her IF position. I

know she worked hand in hand with Mr. Kener and admin people. So, um, yeah, she's got little bit of experience she's bringing in already. So, and some willingness, selfarter, and all those things that we like. So, >> appreciate that. >> Really eager to >> continue learning and growing. And it's good. >> With that, I'll go to the Francis. >> Hi, Kina. >> Hi, >> Andrew. >> Hi, K. >> Hi. 8.04 classified. got one classified. Um that would be the CHS custodian. We're recommending Megan Frink for that position. >> I move the Coaster Public Schools Board of Trustees approves Megan Frink as building custodian for CHS for the 2526 school year. >> Second. >> Okay. Motion second. Any public comment on this? >> Megan's been working as a sub. started walking in right after Christmas and

it was so nice. Um I came up performing surgery. Um building smelled clean walking in like you can smell bleach. >> I think I heard that she used something like 22 cans of some kind of sanitation stuff to clean all the bathrooms. Jen was telling me over Christmas break >> going through this probably was a good thing. So >> just for clarification, is she getting hired as custodian or head >> Custodian. >> Custoracurricular. Take these one at a time, please. Okay, we'll do recommending CHS assistant wrestling coach Zach Valdez. >> I move the Coaster Public Schools Board of Trustees approves Zach Valdez, CHS assistant wrestling coach for the 2526 school year. >> Second. >> Okay, motion and second. Any public comment on this agenda item? >> Any for the board? Luke Jackson's a Coast graduate.

I know Coach Ramsey's looking forward to he's been volunteering, done a good job. Believe our our numbers for wrestling are up and coach Ramsey's looking forward to making a decision to come. >> Okay. Anything else? Francis. >> Hi, >> Sabrina. >> Hi, >> Angie. >> Hi, >> Diff. >> Hi. I uh seconded that. >> I did. >> Thank you. >> All right. Okay. Next. CHS assistant boys recommendation boys basketball coach Rich Spain. >> I move the Coastal Public Schools Board of Trustees approves Rich Spain, CHS assistant boys basketball coach for the 2526 school year. >> Second. >> Okay. Motion second. Any further comment on this? Any further board? >> Mr. Ross found herself where she needs some help and Mr. Spang has stepped up in a big way. He's been every practice. He went red

on. He's done everything. He's been great. Uh he's going to do a phenomenal job. He's a great guy. >> All right. With that, Francis. >> Hi, >> Serena. Hi, >> Angie. Hi, Jeff. >> Hi. Hi. >> All right. Uh 8.06 survey for strategic plan monitoring. >> So just have to approve. >> Yeah, we just got to get that out. >> I move the Coaster Public Schools Board of Trustees approves the survey for strategic plan monitoring as presented. >> Second. >> Okay. Have a motion. Second on that. Any public comment on this? Any further board? Francis. >> Hi. >> Sabrina. >> Hi. >> Angie. >> Hi. >> Tiff. >> Hi. >> Evan. Do we still have that form saved somewhere? >> Yeah. The super. >> This is the strategic plan goal monitoring survey. >> I I

think I got it off of last year's board docs. I brought that hard copy. We put >> he put it into a Google form last year though so that we could type and just submit it. >> Yeah, I I still have that. I have to remember where I saved it. >> Okay. >> You get a chance. You don't need to play, but you get a chance this week. You want to just get that out? >> Yeah, I can. >> Oh, right here. Uh 2425 strategic goal survey. >> Okay. >> I can copy that and put it out. >> Okay. Do >> we need an end date? >> Probably. >> We want to do January February 15th, second month. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Does that work for >> That works for me. >> Just to

clarify, this is for a community survey. Okay. That's what it was. staff, community. >> Yeah. >> Admin, >> this is the MOA for the central warehouse position. Um, after we brought it last time, we had just a couple of revisions done. um this union is not in agreement to um remove it from their collective bargaining agreement at this time, but they are willing to let a co-op student fulfill the job duties. So that is what the MLU is in front of you and then um Connie can speak to if it still needs to go back for a meeting or if they're good to go to sign. >> No, I am willing to sign it if it passes. you guys. >> So, co-op only for this year. >> Okay. >> And we did have agreement that

if I can't if we can't find a co-op kid to uh do it. That is an agreement with um Juel is the one that kind of um makes recommendations on, you know, who's good for what positions. And I've kind of shared with her what my um ideas for the position are that um maybe we can add some for the um principal co-op kids that they already have and kind of utilize them in a certain way and our office so that our office isn't kind of taking the brunt of it all because there's just some days where we just have to say we can't do it today. We're all tied up. So they would be willing at least to help us out and you know deliver some inner office mail or things like that. So we've

had some discussions that way in case we've just kids. So >> thinking one period or two periods. >> We're just thinking that they whatever they're willing to do probably a good at least hour. >> Okay. That could be >> to two hours if they're delivering packages and things like that. If we there's a lot of variables. So, if we don't get one, then that person would maybe just do deliveries of packages one day a week instead of how everyone's used to having them delivered every day. May just be one day a week. So, um we're hoping to get consistent with it, but right now I just feel like there's a lot of up in the air until it's signed by the union and the board and then we can kind of go forward and have

some talks. And I'm sorry because you and I haven't had a chance to visit about this, but so >> if if you hired the co-op position for the central office, then would you guys give them tasks for the other time that they weren't doing mail? >> They'll be doing mail. >> It would be full time every Okay. All right. That's all I needed to know. I just got out of the office every day today or every >> day this week. All week. >> When we do the mail, it's taking about at least an hour and a half. >> Yeah. if we're delivering packages and doing stuff like that. So, I do think that we can keep somebody busy. >> So, I have that. >> Okay. And I did talk with Juel ahead of time, too.

So, I do know who she was recommending to. So, >> I move the Culture Public Schools Board of Trustees approve the central warehouse memorandum of understanding between CPS and CCA for the 2526 school year as presented. Second. >> Okay. Motion second. Any public comment on this? Any further board? >> Francis. >> Hi. >> Serena. >> Hi. >> Andrew. >> Hi. >> Jeff. >> Hi. >> Thank you. >> 8.08. Let me just say it's you. >> All right. So, we have meetings, annual meetings, I guess, Sunday and Monday. Got a list here of seven things to vote on at the meetings. I don't have a chance to look at it if you want me to go through them. Um, I guess I'll go through them by law contest. um talking about co-ops and where the money

goes and it's all messed up. I apologize. Proposal one um member school nonacredited schools accept invitation. So it's talking about part athletic participation for nonacredited schools and a rationale gives it it brings consistency so schools can apparently was against the rules do that. Now, they're going to make it where schools have the option. It said um for track and field specifically because there's not enough track meetings. The second proposal has to do with class C. Apparently, class C plays eightman and sixman and they're going to split those for the playoff payoff for six-man football. Doesn't really apply to us when I get there. I'll find out how everybody feels if indeed we vote on that. Third proposal has to do with uh eligibility I believe in video conferences and they're changing the the fee for

those sitdowns with the association with $250 to $300. Uh I think it has to do with eligibility. If if a player's deemed ineligible then they have the right parents have the right or school has the right to go to association to rebut that try to get their eligibility. They up the fee for that. The fourth one, >> I think that was four. I think three was a hardship. >> He hearings >> eligibility by law to allow for academic hardship. >> The fourth one, hardship rule. Um it says a rationale allowing the executive board to approve waiverss uh provides needed flexibility in exceptional circumstances beyond students control. So that's going to be hardship cases for kids. The fifth proposal uh have been transferred by law home schools or non-public schools. I guess kids from what I

glean from this kids in public schools are coming in eligible and then they're going to home schools so they can kind of be eligible. >> Interesting. And it says the rationale for what they want to do here. It says public school students who transfer without a change of residence without a change of residence to other member schools are ineligible to participate for number of PI days. It says students who transport to a non-public or home school to be ineligible the same number of P days as a district of residents. So that way they can't go from a public institution to a home school and get out of the the ineligibility the days they have to become eligible. Uh proposal six uh amendment approval by law says the change would ensure that training gear workout clothing

disposable items and students have will not count towards the nonmonetary compensation that they can receive. I guess they can receive up to $500 worth of stuff. These would be taken off that list this because the association feels that they're throwaway items. And then the seventh proposal amendment to general penalties bylaw spectator. We're going to change the amount of time that if a spectator is ejected from 3 days to two weeks. Uh the rationale more consistent policy for fan ejection statewide. This change is intended to serve as a deterrent and encourage improved sportsmanship among players there. Also Sunday when we meet as a southern they got some things to go over. They want to know how we thought the divisional volleyball site was how they ran the tournament. I guess talking to the to the volleyball

coach from Huntley Project we ran the tournament different in but other places around the state. She wasn't very happy about that. And then they're coming up with they have a proposal to change how we do the volleyball divisional tournament. It's just a proposal but the winner they they proposing a one-day divisional volleyball tournament where the winners of 3B, 4B and 5B will host. And then they've got for instance here the first place 3B would host the second place from 4B and the third place from 5B. and they play a tournament and the winners of those one day events would go to state. I called Alison to see how she felt. So I have to send it to her >> I'm gonna give uh >> get with her and kind of see how she feels about

these things, how she liked or disliked the tournament, how they ran it in view, you know, what she thinks about this proposal before I >> one day that's share if all of the things had aligned a team could have had to play 25 matches. in one day. >> That's too much. >> Just too much. >> They were exhausted. >> So, >> the only difference between when we hosted it and when hosted it is they had two courts going at once >> and we only had one. So, I think we spread ours out an extra day. >> But it was I thought it was >> I think that's what she said. It used to be more than two days up there. Three days, but they condensed it to two days. Yeah. >> And she was very

happy about it. she >> I know, but it's >> okay. >> I move the Colester Public Schools Board of Trustees approves the recommendation to appoint Rich Slater as our district voting representative. >> Second. Okay, >> motion and a second. Any public comment on this agenda item for the board? Francis. >> Hi, Serena. >> Hi, Angie. >> Hi, Jeff. >> Hi. 3.09 handbook. >> Um, I believe you have the copy of the handbook attached. Correct. So, you approved the change for the transitional algebra and adding that life skills class. So, all we did was went ahead and updated the course description book so it was up to date so it would be online. Um, and then on here it says deleted work release. That actually was deleted um, several years ago and we looked at bringing

it back. Um, what we have is several students who get to that second semester of their senior year and they have the credits that they need to graduate and they want to work extra time whether it's to raise money for college, you know, whether they're going into a trade, whatever. Um, in my discussion with Scott, his concern was work release means we don't get funding for those kids. So, we looked at changing the description in co-op to where they can do one or two periods first semester, second semester with administrative approval, they're on track, have all their credits. Um, they could do up to four periods, but we still receive funding. They're still enrolled. They're still getting credit. So, and they still have to complete all the requirements of co-op like they do now, turn

in their time sheets, all of that, and it would be at the same employer. So, they'd just be extending their time. So, you have any questions on that? I move the Coaster Public Schools Board of Trustees approve the updated CHS course description handbook for the 2526 school year as presented. >> Second. >> Okay. Motion second. Any public comment on this? >> Any further board? >> Francis. >> Hi. >> Serena. >> Hi. >> Angie. >> Hi. >> Tiff. >> Hi. Thank you. >> All right. With that, we'll move into reports. >> You want to do a little >> Yeah. >> Go ahead. >> This is your time to shine. Did >> you see her face? Yeah. She lit up numbers. >> Yeah. >> Well, not only do I get to talk about the bond tonight, but

I got to talk about it last Thursday. So, um, we met on Thursday. It was uh Britney, Scott, Steve and I, and our representatives from DA Davidson and two S&P analysts. And so we gave our presentation and we will have our bond rating back by this Thursday. And then that allows us to prepare to offer the bonds to investors on February 3rd. And then that's where we get the money. Um, but our representatives at DA Davidson and then the S&P analysts, they they think we're we look very favorable financially and with our project. So, we're hoping for good results and we'll just keep you guys updated as we go. >> That does looks very promising. Britney's done a wonderful job with our finances. I didn't have uh a lot of questions. She had me prepared

to answer a lot of questions, but they really didn't have >> three pages worth. >> Yeah. A lot of questions. So, when they don't ask a lot of questions, that's a very good side. So, I think it'll go well. >> All right. With that, we'll move on to administrative reports. I Unless anybody had any questions on these Yeah. >> Can you can someone talk a little bit more about that capturing kids hearts program? >> Yeah. Um we took a team um that had recommended to try to get some teachers on board back earlier this fall and um to Boseman for it's called the flagship and um the teachers got back I think I might have mentioned this before Brandy Watson is one Alicia Seagull Telle and Tara Lion and they are are they're implementing in

their classrooms but that's the program that I had mentioned. Yeah, there's a lot of statistics where they when you implement it, um it's shown to improve test scores, discipline rates go down, retention of teachers goes up. Um what they do is they have you create like one thing is a social contract. You have ongoing um uh dialogue with your with your class on that as far as rules and classroom rules. And um right now we are considering um I'm working with the um the rep to bring proposal to the board um for training for the whole district. Um I talked to her over Christmas break uh for quite a while actually. Um, so what it, you know, I think what it does would help our district with all those different elements that we've talked about,

retention of staff, higher achievement, um, better behavior. And so I learned about it at the state um, superintendent conference in Bosezeman this fall and the presenter um, he was also the presenter that came to us um, for this flagship. So he presented at state superintendents conference Brad McCoy guy from Texas Mr. T McCoy his son is a big NFL football player Cole McCoy. So yeah >> so and he's just a really good coach and so he knows his stuff and good presenter >> but um >> I mean has some other there's quite a few components too besides just that but what do you want to know? I just like I don't know just about the program I guess because how would it increase retention >> just I think because of teachers having less problems with

kids um less discipline problems I can get more into that as I propose it um because I'm going to bring it to you guys next month >> is they're working on a contract for us um I worked with them a little bit we had a meeting with her after we got back um everybody that went and then I um said I've been talking to her a little bit and brought us there's some other area schools that are looking at inputting it and brought us is one of them that they probably go in with us on it so that reduce our costs some more too but that's a good question because I know I saw all those things and it was sort of like well how does this happen you know what why but once I

went to the training because I went with them you kind of you kind of have to get it was two-day training to show us how it works. But it works a lot on relationship building um with the kids too. And and I know Bry's one that told me that she had a student who when they they went home at parent teachers conferences, the parent came in and they said, "Yeah, this I can't remember where the kiddo was, but said, "We need to do this at home, mom." You know, um so I think it's just a really good positive relationship builder. And so I think anytime you have all of those things that we're talking about, higher achievement, better behavior, you're probably going to have happier teachers, too. So I think it's just a ripple effect

of that. So they have a really good website if you want to go to their website and look at that information that's on there. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Say I can also share your story. >> Oh yeah, Jen. Um, so I went as well and they talk like it could be implemented in preschool as well. But um, so they train the team and then the team comes back and um, does observation to see how it's being implemented in the districts while um, Brad McCoy who was our trainer, he said he went to this class or preschool classroom and the preschool he like showed up at the door and hurried up and raised up and was like, "Hi, I'm so and so." like shook his hand because part of it is having that connectedness with the

kids when you come in, whether you're doing a fist bump, a hug, high five, whatever it is, um, with the kids. And so the kid introduced himself and asked how he was. And then he's like, "Hey, you need to come over here." And he's like, "Here's the rules." And they had pictures. And he's like, the one that stood out was, "How do you not bite?" And um, they had like three simple rules for the class, their social expectation. And then he went and got their ink pad and had all of them instead of signing their name because a lot of the preschool kids don't know how to write their name, they actually took their thumb print and put it on the wall onto their paper with their contract. But it was just interesting. He was

like this kid is like making sure good you can stay in our class what he what they said and he thought it was interesting because like each teacher can make it their own and every class has buyin with it as well. So, um, they did explain how you would do the transition of a kid who moves into the district and how would they buy into the classroom as well, um, for it and a way to set up all that. Um, but I think and they said even coaches are using it as well. And >> because of that, they when we were in Bosezeman, Jen and I are the ones that first talked to them at their booth, but they recommended that the activities get involved with it. You can keep going because I want to

tell a story about the football team. >> Oh, well, you're going to still be with her. >> Yeah, tell you tell about her son, right? >> Okay. Tell about her son. >> So, Rose um >> you know she's going to do that. >> Her um son came to the train because I guess he's teaching in Montana and he said that his school um and they were a very very large school. >> They're down in Clar Springs when you high school. >> So, um huge school district. They hadn't won in like three years. Um the kids didn't want to go out for football because they had such a losing record. And then their district implemented capturing kids hearts. They sent the coaches there. The coaches had a buy in and it turned the team around and

their team actually made playoffs which was amazing because they had like three years they hadn't won a single game and turned around. So the kids wanted to go out for the football team and even it dealt with coaches behaviors or the parents behavior for the team and just changed the way that the team saw um each other and building each other up. So I think it is something we could also look at athletics and Mr. Slater went as well to the training but just building a culture that has kids wanting to come and wanting to stay and knowing that people care because really what am I going to do if you don't care about me? Am I going to stay? Probably not. >> That sounds really good. >> Yeah, that team you said the team

you said they stayed in touch to this day and before that they weren't close. They didn't I mean almost like didn't get along. I don't think they even won a game ever. So yeah, might sound familiar, but >> a little too. Okay, wait. >> But I heard the middle school dance was great. It >> was amazing. >> Yeah. >> Yes, it was a lot of fun. Lots of kids this time. So glad we postponed and waited for that winter little winter storm that was supposed to >> take place in December. >> I liked the letter to the parents. >> If your kid cries, we'll ask you to come get them. And then the admission fee was a box of Kleenex. And I told my kids that I was dropping off. I'm like, "See, bring in

your own tissues if you start current." Telling Evan that it was it was a really good turnout. >> All right. Anything else before we move on to superintendent report? >> Scott, it's all you. >> Okay, I'll try to be brief. Um, I will be brief. So, I know some of you guys from just my contacts with you. I know over a break I was working quite a bit on the 4 day week and just getting information out to you. So I think Chris and I finally finished up just the last that some kind of late suggestions come through after break. So we're going to get those out to stakeholders. Um and then the I mentioned in here the the studies in Montana really don't show it's pretty neutral math language arts and it just really

kind of depends on what state you look at if if they go down a little bit or don't go at all. Um but they really said it's three things um that impact like student achievement and just the biggest thing they stressed was how you lose your how you use your time >> you know and then they did talk about consistency with staff and you know trainings and and little turnover and then they did throw in that schools that have seen the most success with achievement use that Friday for interventions somehow. So that's kind of all on the radar there. So get those out. um next I know I told admin I run them by them get them up to the committee and to the the community one last round now and then let's see doing
