Good morning, West Chicago. Spring has sprung. There's a lot of green stuff around. I've got a lingering cough. Profane master and I are stressed. That can only mean one thing. It's the end of the school year, and that means it's time to figure out who won some senior superlatives. Let's get after it. >> [music] >> First up, ladies and gentlemen, I believe it's Jesse Myers, most liked by parents. Jesse, what's the secret? I've been told you're most liked by parents. How does one get in good with a mom or a dad? >> Usually my trick [music] is to ask them about their kids or always like say hi to them if I see them at a game or when I leave their house say bye and thank you. >> So, just basic human decency. [music]
Wild strat. Besides being adored by parents, what are your plans for after high school? >> I'm going to the University of Michigan to study mechanical engineering. >> Very cool. Jesse Myers, everybody. Next up, folks, you've seen him on the football field. It's Carter Naranjo, most athletic. Here he comes with one AirPod [music] in. Carter, you're an athlete. What's the secret to being an athlete? >> Probably just [music] genetics, to be honest. I don't know how cuz my parents aren't athletic, so I think I'm just lucky. >> So, you're boasting about something that was totally outside of your control. Shout-outs out to mom and dad even though they're not great at sports. Are you going to be playing sports [music] in college? >> Yes, I will be playing football at Benedictine. I'll be playing slot receiver.
>> Can't wait to see more big things from Carter, our most athletic Wildcat, everybody. The sun just popped through just in time to shine a little light on our best romance. It's Ricardo and Diego. Come on down, gentlemen. Guys, what's the secret to a lasting friendship? >> Being real. >> Honesty, being real, I love to hear that. How long have you guys [music] been in a bromance? >> 7 years now, I think. >> 7 years, goodness gracious. I'm not sure what the anniversary gift is there. Do you have uh plans to continue [music] this bromance into your post-high school lives? >> Yeah, we're going to the same college. >> Same college? Roommates? >> No, we're both [music] commuting there. >> It's wise. It's smart. You just lost your crown for the ninth time. Good job.
We love to see lasting friendship. Wildcats forever. Congrats on a great bromance. Guys, you [music] might remember her cuz she had a big moment in six. She's our next Broadway star. It's Ava Blondair, everybody. Ava, not sure if you've seen the Jim Henson classic Muppets Take Manhattan, but Kermit aspires to be a Broadway star in that film and struggles a little bit before he eventually [music] finds success. What's next for you after high school? Are you going right to New York or what's the plan here? >> So, I'm actually not going into [music] acting full-time. >> Gasp. >> I will be teaching kindergarten, which is acting too, cuz you have to act [music] like >> You're happy. >> Yeah. Just kidding. >> To act like you really enjoy your job all the time. >> Wow,
we're saying some things about education right now. Favorite stage memory from your four years here? >> During our summer show, everyone gets abducted by aliens. Shout out to Alyssa O'Brien, the director. >> It was a great [music] show. I saw it. >> Nobody knew how I was going to die, spoiler alert. So, I got to do different poses every night, nobody knew it was coming, and then one night I like stood on my neck. [music] I don't know, it was weird. It was cool though. >> Can confirm, it was a little weird. Ava, we can't wait to see you not on Broadway, but maybe we'll look through the windows of that kindergarten classroom and catch you acting [music] in there. That sounded so creepy, I'm so sorry. Ava, everybody. Guys, if you're feeling emotional, our
next friend is here to help. It's Sophia [music] Patack, aka the Patack Attack, the best shoulder to cry on. All right, well Chicago, this is [music] definitely not something that we had to reshoot cuz it was too sunny, but next up, it's Sophia Patack, the best shoulder to cry on. Here she comes now at the same time that we filmed all the other ones. Sophia, on this [music] fine morning, can you tell us why you're such a great shoulder to cry on? >> I feel like I'm a very positive person [music] and I'm very cheerful and I try and find like the positive outcome in everything and I feel like that radiates off [music] of me to my friends and I've been told that I say the right thing at the right time. >> Those
are all good reasons to reach out to Sophia if you're going through it. Ballpark guess, how many friends have you been there for in [music] their darkest hours this year? >> All of them? >> That's beautiful. Sophia's a kind of friend we should all aspire to have. Sophia pat everybody. It's the rare wildcat that can lock up two different senior superlatives. Next up, Tong [music] Tong. He's the life of the party and a future influencer. He's on his phone right now. Tong Tong, amazing. Double crowns. So, you're an influencer and you're the life of the party. Do you think these things interrelate? >> Very much. >> What's the secret to the internet success that you've enjoyed as an influencer? >> Going more audience every day by posting more about myself and being more about [music]
fun and being the life. >> All the things. You take some sick photos. I think our community is very thankful for the way that you've captured some big [music] moments this year. Favorite moment as a senior? >> Favorite moments are all the moments because as a senior, every moment should count. >> Beautiful. I'm going to get emotional. Get Sophia back out here. Can we follow you moving forward? What are your socials? >> For now, it's Tong's Gram. >> Tong's Gram. All right, don't miss out. Follow Tong. Say you knew him when. Uh, it's not a senior, but I believe I just heard a yellow-rumped warbler above us. You may have seen her on the court balling out with her friends. You may have seen her in the stands getting rowdy. It's Sneha George with the
most school spirit. >> What's going on? >> Whoa. It's happening in real time. Sneha, you're a hype machine. What's the secret? How can others develop [music] more school spirit? >> Go to games, jump up, be super loud, support everybody no matter [music] what sport, if they're friends with you or not, just be there for them. >> Get rowdy and be there. Full support. Doesn't matter how we're doing. Doesn't matter if you know them. Doesn't matter if the crown stays on your head. Support your friends. >> Yes, sir. >> Sneha George everybody. Guys, next up, she's been helping us all morning film this morning's Friday Funday. It's Miley Peg, teacher's pet. You earned this one this morning. There's [music] advantages to being a teacher's pet. Has it helped you academically? >> I think it actually has
[music] because honestly, when trying to send out letters of recommendations, I got so many because I asked a bunch of teachers because [music] I knew that the entire English department loved me. >> She's beloved, guys. Miley Peg, teacher's pet. Next up, I believe she's our first ever female class MVP, shattering that glass ceiling. It's Valeria Bahena. Here she comes. Valeria, an MVP, most valuable player. We'll call you the most valuable person. What sets you apart? >> I think what sets me [music] apart is how involved I am in very different things like athletic clubs and other organizations here and [music] then maybe my kindness. >> Kindness, we love that. So, you're saying involvement and actually being nice to other [music] people makes you valuable. >> I guess so. >> Valeria Bahena, everybody, our class MVP.
West Chicago, we found one of the seniors that we couldn't crown this morning. [music] On his way to PE, I'm here with Jose Melay, a danger to Cur McGee. [music] Jose, can you walk us through what's happened at Cur to win you this distinction? >> I guess I do a lot of burnouts [music] there and like I just have fun cars. >> Burnouts and fun cars. Have you gotten into any collisions? >> Uh like a minor one. [music] I was like drifting, hit a curb. >> Are you a menace on the streets? Should we watch out for you there as well or just at Cur McGee? >> I'm not a menace. It's just [music] like loud. >> Just a localized loud driver. Watch yourselves. If Jose's around, you might want to proceed with caution. He's
a danger to Cur McGee. >> [music] >> All right, Wildcats, we're inside now. First hour has begun, but we found Fabian Espinoza, our late to class superlative winner. [music] What's the struggle in the morning? Why can't we get here on time? >> Well, I don't wake up on time and I forget to put on my alarm. >> Is it okay if we watch you go [music] to class late for first hour? Okay. >> West Chicago, we found [music] the last of them. And of course, it would be the last one to find. He's out here acting a fool. It's our class clown, Tommy Weber. Tommy, what's the secret to being [music] a good class clown? >> I mean, to be honest, I don't even know like I was going to win this. So, I feel
like if you're like trying to be funny, you're not actually [music] funny. Like, it just has to like come naturally. >> It's a good reminder to a lot of people. If you're trying to be funny, it's not funny. [music] You just got to be authentically funny. He's a clown unaware. Tommy Weber, ladies and gentlemen. >> Oh, here they all come for their group photo. All right, we've lost Miley cuz she's now part of the group photo, but Prove It Maestro, thank you as always for helping us crown our seniors. Ladies and gentlemen, one last time, some of your senior superlative winners. >> Yeah.
