001[music] One of the main sports that I'm in is tennis. [music] I started when I was like 10 years old in the summers and then I just kind of progressed from there. I was on varsity for 3 years and then I was a two-year varsity captain. I'm in [music] HOSA where I am a treasurer this year. I'm in BPA also officer for that for four years and I [music] am a student ambassador and I'm part of NHS and I am a committee chair for two years now. The thing I appreciated is like the student teacher time that students [music] and teachers get to have. Teachers really make it a priority for students to like really understand the concepts. So [music] we have like den time, we have study hall periods, we have academic support before

002and after school which is really helpful. It might be a little cliche cuz I know that a lot of people say this but I think it's [music] said for a reason that you want to reach out and branch out and do new things cuz I really regret not doing like Batman earlier or maybe a different club a little bit earlier. Don't be afraid to go do new things like new clubs, [music] new sports. worse comes to worse, you don't like it, you don't have to keep pursuing it. It's a lot easier doing with a friend, so grab a friend and go try something new. I think it helps you broaden your horizons [music] a lot and helps make a lot of new friends. Hopefully, I'm going to go to college somewhere [music] warm. My major

003is psychology and then I want to either double major in Spanish or [music] minor in Spanish. And then hopefully going forward after college would be medical school. I'm Julie Kopo and I'm November Student of the Month. >> [music]
