001[Music] at West Chicago. I've been on the tennis team for four years as the uh varsity captain, which has been a really fun experience, and I've made a lot of friends through that. Also, in my junior year, I joined AV club, which was a really fun way to get closer with a lot of my friends and also just take some pictures. And this year, I did end up doing the uh robotics club as well. That was pretty fun as well. I think something I've really appreciated is the amount of classes we have available. Like all the different choices that students can have. It's nice to be able to pick whatever class and do whatever you like. Especially with like TCD because that's a really fun way to spend the second half of my day as

002I go to the game design class there and it's really [Music] fun. I think I'd probably say always try your hardest in school. sometimes, especially in my freshman year, I did not do too well in a lot of my classes because I kind of ignored like all of the homework, but then after that, I realized that I should probably actually be trying. So, it took me a little while, but I think actually putting forth your like your full effort is really important. After I graduate from West Chicago, I'm going to plan on going to COOD for one year because with my AP credits I have stacked up, I'll be able to skip a year of college. And then after I graduate out of COOD, I will be majoring in computer science. Hopefully getting a job

003in game design or programming someday, but we'll see how that goes. I'm Gillian Hosta and I'm the April student of the month. [Music]
