0012,000 I could be talking about the amount of pounds in a ton or the amount of students walking in the Halls on any given day at West Chicago high school or I could be talking about the amount of points that jazz trero scored in her career here at West Chicago High School joining us today for Friday fun day is our alltime leading scorer over 2100 clear points by Jasmine tros here in Bishop jym as you look back on your career can you believe that you scored that many points it was definitely one of my goals of mine after suppressing a th000 that was just my next goal when did you go over 1,000 points uh junior year my first game first game junior year M halfway through your senior year you went past 2,000 yes
002so you scored over 1,000 points in like a season and a half yes that's a lot of points only less than 1% of girls in the country playing basketball scored over 2,000 points did you know that not until I scored it do and somebody said it yeah okay so you do other things here too though right you play volleyball mhm you play basketball yep play softball you're going to college to play softball right so basketball is not even your best sport no I like softball you like softball yeah why do you still play three Sports though cuz I like to stay active I like to still be doing something and I met a lot of my best friends during those Seasons through Sports so what are you going to miss most about playing basketball here
003at West Chicago the friendships that I've definitely made the coaches 100% And just playing this game overall I've been playing it since I was like 6 years old so it's been a part of my life the relationships the experiences you want to play one last time here make a few more baskets yeah I challenged you to game a horse so I don't know if you saw last year I swam against the state championship swimmer have you ever raced anybody in a swim shirt before I don't think so this is my first time okay we'll see if it increases my drag at all I've ran with sectional qualifying cross country Runners you ready for tomorrow you got to run again tomorrow yeah yeah every day every day now I'm going to play horse against a 2,000
004Point score finally going to get my victory here I think so I went to the same College as Caitlyn Clark and I can shoot almost as good as her so I just wanted to let you know what you're getting yourself into okay I will let you have the honors to go and shoot first thank you by the way Jasmine has 21100 more career points than I did in high school my last sanctioned game was in eighth grade winner in 93 just all right that's right I'm not a free throw guy okay a little better than I realized this was actually my favorite spot seventh grading as ICS scored 13 points oh oh man thought that was ho that's right lot of game left lot of game left oh there it is still alive let's do
005threes there's no editing here she is she is four for four so far what do you like more you like shooting a three you like scoring a layup uh everything everything yeah I like oh that's off dang closer than I thought didn't feel good coming off is there a reason why you're not playing basketball in college you're going to make some intermal team very happy in college oh what is that h o r h r okay she's better than I realized I'll be honest with you that's it all right stay alive oh that's all all right she's opened the window here we go she shot from all over the place has made everything I'm going to see how her fundamentals are see if she can make a left-handed layup oh all right reverse layup can
006reverse [Music] is this called the elbow I don't when did they start doing that I feel like when I was a kid I never heard that term now they always call it the elow see how you are from the El oh oh tide has turned there we go there we go we're about halfway through the game from at h r jazz you're at nothing nothing she's barely missed she's much better than I realized but I'm not giving up just cuz you're down in a game doesn't mean you quit walk off the court it's my shot I'm going to put a little pressure on here I'm going to make my next one and see what she can do what is say okay I call my shot there it [Music] work we'll go back to free throw
007[Music] touched literally every piece of the r and still went it I'm makeing more than I thought it would I'll be honest with you I proud it it's like the more pressure I put on her the better she does it's impressive from the logo I got the C par shirt on o this is car [Applause] nope okay finally oh H RF there it is like and that sounded like it got hurt I think but don't make this it's over right here yeah nope that a it's way too far why would anybody shoot from me I'm from you know once you get to horse or pick you get a farmer chance half court shot can keep you alive see if I can stay [Applause] alive great was right online just a little short Jazz it was
