001hi my name is Michaela Miller and I'm the December student of the month so I do a lot of stuff here one of my biggest things is the band I am a part of the drum line so marching band pep band but then also concert band I play all the percussion instruments I have been a drum line Captain for two years and this year I was nominated as the band president which is super fun so I get to help out with board meetings I'm also a roar director and a snowball director I'm a student ambassador the publicity chair for NHS I was in art club for freshman sophomore year I've been a four-year member of Wego Global I also play badminton this will be my fourth year on the badminton team too I I just
002like trying out all the things and I found a lot of stuff that I really like kind of generic answer but I really appreciate the community I've loved the people through all the clubs and sports and organizations I'm in I've gotten to meet a lot of great people students and teachers and they've encouraged me to be the best version of myself which has been super great and I've definitely done a lot of growing because of the people I'm friends with and I've definitely made a lot of friends because of the clubs I've been in so I I just appreciated that a lot it's really important to step out of your comfort zone to like Branch out and find some of the things that you've never tried before because you never know how much you'll like
003something till you've tried it and it's just it's really important to try lots of new things because you might find the best thing ever like the best thing that you've never done do new things try new things don't get too comfortable exactly where you are I'm going to before your University and then hopefully finding higher education after that so either a master's or a doctorate with whatever profession I end up picking I want it to be something that'll be able to benefit a large group of people I also know that I want to continue learning Spanish into college and hopefully either double major or have a minor in it just so that I can have that uh Second Language ability which would be really cool I'm just going to keep doing what I know I
