001[Music] we were asked to write to a student who embodies what it means to be a wild cat we were asked to identify one outstanding student who makes our cats Community special one person that we consider to be um somebody that we're super proud of somebody who has put in a lot of effort and has really just shined as a person to us over the course of their you know their time here at weo one student who makes us glad to come to weo every single day so there's a letter that we wrote to students who we thought deserve this award I wanted to write you this letter because when I think of who that wild cat is I think of you I wrote you a letter to express how awesome I think you are
002so if you'll indulge me can I read it to you yes dear elit dear murf dear Kai dear Robert you Encompass what every student should be in West Chicago I wanted to share with you how much I appreciate having you in class I am so proud of all that you have done and the person that you are ever since you set foot in my classroom I felt your bright and infectious positive energy you are the type of student who provides a daily reminder of the joy of teaching in my experience as your teacher I have never heard you complain about any task and you carry yourself with such positivity watching you grow from a quiet freshman into a remarkable senior has been a privilege and a true highlight of my time here at weo it
003has been so cool to see you grow you have been and are a student who's reliable dedicated motivated hardworking and a human that is compassionate honest grateful and respectful I appreciate your enthusiasm in class especially working with others and and your willingness to always ask questions to clarify information or to learn more if I had a daughter I would want her to be just like you athletic smart kind and 100% dedicated to her friends you're a dream student for us I was continually impressed with your academic abilities when I had you in class but you as a person are so much more than that not only are you an excellent student but you go above and beyond with helping me usually with cleanup though you are definitely quiet by Nature you find ways of showing
004people that you care deeply about them this is an amazing trait you represent the best of weego because it is students like you who make us who we are you are naturally curious which reflects our commitment to learning and your positive disposition kindness and Leadership skills help Foster our sense of community here in weo besides always trying your hardest you are also very kind and understanding towards others your Goodwill makes you someone that other younger underclassmen can look up to LA you welcome challenges and face them headon with a can do attitude and your confidence and dedication is inspiring I know the last year has not been easy for you an understatement still you pulled through and have matured so much in such little time your resilience and grit make me proud to be your
005teacher as I watch you grow even though you may not be achieving the results you want yet I have all the confidence that if you keep putting forth the effort you will get there you challenge Yourself by taking AP macro this year and thought about dropping the course but instead you stuck with it and I am so glad you did you never shy from pushing your own limits and constantly seeking ways to learn and grow I admire your strength your perseverance and your character you work hard at everything you do and it pays off I see your hard work every day and you're an inspiration to me as a teacher and to your fellow students as a teacher all I can ask my students is to become kind compassionate and responsible human beings I'm so
