January 2023 Student of the Month - Gianna DeConcilis

001I'm Gianna D cancilis and I'm the January student of the month [Music] I'm pretty involved here at West Chicago I was on the volleyball team all four years and last year as a junior I was the captain for the JV team I am a part of the foreign language Honor Society student ambassador I am part of National Honor Society where recently I was a committee chair for the breakfast with Santa this year I joined PEP Club and was given the opportunity to be a pep leader to help out with the assemblies and plan the events I also recently just joined Trek I really enjoyed being able to attend most of the sporting events whether it be basketball football or soccer games and getting the chance to experience for myself how exciting it is to be a part of a community that is so supportive of one another I also was grateful that I was a part of the squad at the state soccer game and I will cherish that moment forever [Music] I would advise future Wildcat students to just have fun and make the most of your high school experience getting involved is the easiest way to meet new people and people who share similar interests don't be scared to try new things and find something you're really passionate about I plan to attend the University of Arizona to major in nursing [Music]
