PRIDE POINT: EMBRACE THE CHALLENGE

001hi wildcats i'm brianne ferrero i'm the honors biology and ap biology teacher here at west chicago community high school i'm also a mom i have three boys at home so i'm definitely outnumbered as a mom i'm always trying to share wisdom with my boys to help them grow into confident young adults one of the things that i always try to teach them is if it doesn't challenge you it won't change you if you ever lifted weights before i'm sure you know what i'm talking about sure you can go to the gym night after night lifting the bar but if you're not actually adding weights to it are you gonna see any gains most of us feel like 2020 has thrown all the weights on the bar that we're trying to lift whether we're prepared or not the key is to see these challenges as an opportunity an opportunity for real growth and it all starts with a perspective shift is life pretty challenging right now absolutely but hidden in these experiences is an opportunity for us to change to grow and to come out on the other side stronger so embrace the challenge wildcats because it's the only thing strong enough that will change you you
