001hey everyone my name is miss gentile and after graduating in 2010 i came back and i've been teaching culinary and fashion here at wego for about five years now whether it's something as simple as a hot dog or something more complicated like a five course meal all food preparation starts with the main ingredients think about it would you want to eat a chocolate chip cookie that was prepared by someone who just casually substituted raw onions for chocolate chips probably not but here's the tricky thing sometimes you just have to make the best of the ingredients that you have on hand if you've ever seen an episode of chopped then you know what i'm talking about we're all in a situation right now where we feel like we don't have the best ingredients available i'm sure

002spending your afternoons at your dining room table isn't anyone's preferred way to do school and having conversations face to face in person is a lot more enjoyable than through zoom these ingredients certainly don't feel like our best options right now but the good news is they're pretty minor we've still got almost all of the most important ingredients to work with your teachers are still here supporting you every step of the way working hard to enable your success and then there's you the student no one ingredient is more important than you and what you bring to the table your goals your drive your ambition those are all of the essential ingredients making a meal you're ultimately proud of comes down to your perspective and determination the good news is the table is set if you work

003with what you've got you'll still be able to put something together that showcases who you are and all you're hoping to achieve
