001The Fargo Board of Education is made up of nine residents in the Fargo Public Schools attendance area. It is the boards role to interpret the needs of the Fargo community. How do I contact a School Board member to provide feedback? The board welcomes receiving feedback and suggestions from the public. Community members have a variety of ways of contacting board members including phone and email. Contact information is available on the boards website. There is also a 'Contact Boards Members' form on the website that emails all board members along with members of administration. Residents are also welcome to provide comments to the board in person at the beginning of every regular school board meeting regarding items on that meetings or the preceding meetings agenda. The Fargo Board of Education is committed to discussing issues in an open and public manner that complies with state law. While interested in you comments board members may or may not respond to or debate this issue using email or the contact board members form as a response from all members may constitute a meeting of the board and violate North Dakota's open meeting laws. If your message is directly associated with school operations you may receive a response from administration. At times only the board president may respond on behalf of the board. The board values feedback and interest in our schools. Together as a community we can fulfill our mission of education and empowering all students to succeed.
