all online you can watch them um we also ask questions we speak for students in our buildings for iGo and iGo East we advocate for our students and we also have productive conversations at all these board meetings and we prepare students and basically speak behalf of our students and essentially we're just a student adviser and we speak up for our students so to get started we wanted to do just a little Icebreaker so everyone's very comfortable with with each other and able to ask questions and participate so we'll get started soon oh we're get started now okay okay so the rules is we'll get into a group of three and four an image will pop up on the screen making out a word or an image and the first person to say allow we essentially
win a point um for now we can just stay in our table so say hi to each other okay so a hym is don't stay limited to one thing pay attention to the spelling Lou pay attention to the spelling location symbols and shapes and possible answers can be phrases animals food or maybe just one word okay okay each table a team yeah so team team team team team team team team um they can just stand up and shout the answer out loud oh it is okay or first person to stand up would be better okay yeah okay sit down this next okay listen up real quick listen up real quick please please please please listen so this is an example so if anyone if anyone can take a guess you right here yes y yes

is collecting and analyzing data and making a plan that a better community in the future so that goes into our school Improvement plan which goes directly with our three foundational practices so our goal for both schools iGo and iGo East High School is by June 25 to have basically 85% of students have a student identify one or more trusted adults at either buildings and so what we've done to kind of figure out what is a trusted adult is we've collaborated with ssac to figure out how can we Define a trusted adult what goes into those characteristics what makes a student feel like they have someone that they can trust so what we've done with ssac is collect our ideas and basically come up with our um definition our trusted adult def definition which took a
lot of time for us to do we had to refine it take out things put some things in and so this is what we came up with so if anyone is brave enough and would like to read this please use your hand you got it oh I'll come over someone who is generally in invest s in students growth and establishing a foundation of Mal mutual respect this adult actively seek by making themselves related relatable and a approach approachable ensuring that the student feels valid and ex valued and AC accepted they commute high expectations of Achi achievements guidance and accountability while maintaining a supportive non-judgmental environment that also that allows students to learn from mistakes this person listens deeply follows up and follows through and often helps advice above all they advocate for students on raving
in their support and strive to be reliable present students on count give her give [Applause] up okay so from this discussion we and people from the ssac endlessly put in countless hours to help us build this from these seven topics we had Brave leaders come up and present them to you which we're going to be doing in about a few minutes so hope it's going to take when I say your name please please stand up and wave Sky [Music] Weaver Raj [Music] [Applause] Maro Carson Point Dexter joeli Sanchez Cali Parnell Maddie Collier and hope rier okay so from these tables so 40 table top topics we found might hurt it so these are table topics as follow phones and their impact on St student teachers relationships respect and communication and the impact students skipping certain
classes and the impact on their success cultural and relational responsiveness and responsiveness and the impact on student teacher relationships censorship and the ability to be comfortable academics and the extracurricular and the impact and mental health and the impact on student teacher relationships so I'll give off our directions our topics are on the side so please choose three topics that interest you our topics are to the right and then write down great and necessary to take notes remember to listen to be respectful but to also give your honest feedback and your honest opinion that's very needed and we'll have 20 minutes at each table and then we'll rotate with a two-minute transition does anyone have any questions comments anything to say NOP perfect okay let's get started so get to your first topic of your choice
