001in the previous couple of videos we've taken a look at uploading media files such as images or audio for use on your site in this video we'll take a look at the media library and how you can upload other file types such as PDF or even Word documents using the media uploader menu you can drag and drop in media for use or from the dashboard head to the media section and go to the media library to see all of the media that has been added to your site from here you can edit delete or view the media files you can also upload new media files here as well you can view your media files in a list view or in a grid view or even filter the media files go ahead and click add new
002and we'll be uploading a PDF file to our media library now our file is ready for use on any of our wordpress posts or pages on this media library page we can see what posts our media files have been attached to we can also attach the files to post from here as well by clicking attach and then choosing the page or post to attach the file to then head to the editor for that post and go to the add media menu from here we can choose media library to see only the files attached to this specific post I'll attach this PDF into this post you'll see WordPress has created a link for a user to click to download the file back to the media library you have the ability to edit the various types of
