Just the general education funded,000,000 transportation, in black. three main operations for a total deficit of 154,000 with.347,000 you're talking about deficit about6% large number however it is a number and as you all know rarely at the end of the year do we hit the budget. This is a conservative estimate. So um those are the key points that I would bring out. >> Perfect. Um I will also say that the deficit of the capital projects of 29 million is because of the bonds and the bonds don't come into the revenue. So you see a big deficit there because uh that revenue is in a different place in their in the form. And then TOR, which is a $200,000 deficit, and Health Life

Safety, which is a $429,000 deficit, are both things that are going toward the construction project. So, um, the big deficits are because of the construction. >> Perfect. Any questions from the board, the budget? We have no public here, so I'm gonna call for public comments. Anyone? Nope. Okay. Thanks. No public comments. Last thing is a motion to adjurnn. I'll make the motion. >> Thank you. Second. >> I'll second. >> Go for it. I think Lisa beat you to it. All right. Roll call, please. >> Norin Friedrich, absent. >> Andrea Corey, >> yes. >> Adam Himkin, >> yes. >> Kelly Moyer, >> yes. >> Tyson Search, >> yes. >> Lisa Schumacher, >> yes. >> Greg Meyer, >> yes. >> That concludes our budget hearing. Time is 50:03 p.m. And we're going to go ahead and write

and call the regular scheduled meeting to order. again. 5:03 p.m. We're gonna roll call. Make sure nobody snuck out. Last 10 seconds. >> Greg Meyer >> here. >> Lisa Schumacher >> here. >> Tyson Search >> here. >> Kelly Moyer >> here. >> Andrea Corey >> here. >> Adam Himkin >> here. >> Norin Friedrich absent. >> All right. We still have a quorum. We still have no visitors. We're going to check that off. So public comments. Since no visitors, we have no public comments. >> No correspondence. >> We no correspondence. >> No correspondence. Um, we do have an item for the consent agenda. We uh would like to recommend under employed employee certified personnel. Jennifer Van Bruskan pending state certification. She is uh currently certified in Missouri. She's got to get that certification up and then

once that's back up, she'll transfer it over. But uh Jennifer Van Bruskin would be our new English teacher at the high school. Um she comes with a master's in English and she uh has worked with the gifted and talented students in Missouri schools. So perfect. >> Will she be a sub in the meantime? >> She was a sub today. She'll be after this board pending your vote. She will be a full-time employee >> even though her certification. >> Yeah, it'll be pending her certification and we'll just have to work that out. The ROE is fine with it. um she will have a subcertificate but we'll hire her as an employee. So she'll have the IEN that goes with her classes and stuff and then that number will change when the certification comes over. It's just

a bureaucratic hoop. >> So she meets all the criteria. We don't have any concerns with her not getting her >> I have no concerns with her not getting her Illinois certificate. >> Is she qualified to teach AP English as well? um she is extremely qualified to teach the English. The AP doesn't really need a qualification. Um you have you you you can take a class over the summer. She's not had that class, but uh I believe that she will be a very good u AP teacher for the kids to be able to do their best on that AP test. >> So with her coming in, do the kids still have an opportunity to get their credits? They do. >> Okay. Yes. >> They will take a test at the end of the class. >> Okay.

>> And this I mean we're offering her a contract. >> Yes. >> Okay. It's not just to finish out the school year. Okay. >> She would be a first year teacher. >> Is that what we're hiring her as? First year teacher. >> Uh yeah, she's actually on the pay scale because she's got experience from previous places and she's got her M's plus. And so on the pay scale, she's but she'd be our first year teacher. Other questions, discussions, comments? All right. Hearing n would like to approve the consent agenda as presented. >> I'll make the motion. Thank you, Tyson. Second. >> I'll second. >> Thank you, Andrea. Roll call, please. >> Norin Friedrich, absent. Adam Himkin, >> yes. >> Andrea Corey, >> yes. >> Kelly Moyer, >> yes. >> Greg Meyer, >> yes. >> Lisa

Schumacher, >> yes. >> Tyson Search, >> yes. Perfect. All right. >> And we have now an enrollment report that has been passed around that's in front of you. Any question on that? Let me know. We have one item for action. That is to approve our 202526 school budget. >> Given the fact that there were no questions, concerns or comments regarding the school budget. Administration recommends that you approve it. And then before you leave here today, you all have to sign whether or not you voted A or nay. Okay. All right. Any discussion regarding school budget?
