001[Music] come [Music] welcome back into the aces wild pregame show presented by Aces Wild video game in parlor sorry for those technical difficulties there we lost the stream for a second and Jared if you remember correctly I don't even remind me this is where we decided hey we're not doing video anymore because of the uh the Wi-Fi so we relocated the cell phone on The Hot Spot hopefully we won't lose you anymore it kind of scares me we got a little red box down here and I'm not sure what that means but hopefully that means keep going I don't know we're going to keep going for it good uh national anthem there was not done by the band it was done by the choir and did a very good rendition there teams are on the
002field the captains for the Eagles tonight are going to be number 70 for the Eagles and that's going to be Ben Simmons number 14 uh belan number one Payton Andrews and number four Sam Denny for the wild cats I have them somewhere else on a different roster there they are right there Jared who do you got looks like number nine Samuel green 15 Connor Tennyson number 41 and 71 Caleb Smith and number 55 Brennan Richardson we are going live now as Keegan Thompson sends it from right to left it's going to be caught at the 5 yd line got a pretty good good little wedge there for the wild cats before the Eagles are able to swarm and make the tackle at the 27 yd line wild cats are going to be in their green
003helmets green jerseys green pants a little bit darker green and with uh White numbers red on the shoulder pads red down the sides of the legs a little bit darker red as well Eagles are going to have their white helmets white jerseys with the blue numbers blue pants with a white stripe down the side and they are going with the pink socks tonight as the month of October is all about breast cancer awareness Ball's going to be in the middle of the field starting at the 27 yd line here for the wild cats they're going to spread it out it's going to be doubles to each side nope they're going to have doubles to the right side going to drop into a tight end is going to be number 80 running back to the left
004side of the quarterback slow snap it's going to be a read out of the quarterback he's going to pull it try to go up the middle going to have a couple of yards maybe three brought down by Keegan Thompson like Hudson Bryant was the first one in the back field there hopefully we say his name a lot tonight he's going to be playing that DN spot um he might not be the the smallest or the biggest guy on the field but um's going to stick his nose in there and try to get a couple tackles tonight second down in six still in the middle of the field four down linemen for the Eagles as they're going up against this massive offensive line going to be a Jet Sweep to the outside again good job forcing
005it back in or the Eagles and he's going to be traced down for a loss on the play I believe that's going to be Mason in on the tackle who was the one that forced it back in was that Hudson again like Hudson again there getting up field and forcing that guy back in Mason did a great job flying to the football for a loss of about three or four there make it third and about eight third and eight trips to the left side ball on the right hash now look at those splits out of the linemen there is nothing there they're pretty much Heel To Toe on the offensive side of the football looking to the backside going to be caught at the 35 and going to be brought down at the 40 going
006to be good for a first down I think that was pton Andrews on this side had a little bit soft coverage there and the quarterback he went right to pton Andrews on this side right away yeah was simple hitch route quarterback like what he saw over here with single coverage and decided just to run a simple hit route get the first down the chains quarterback being the coach of son believe you said earlier in the game a lot of knowledge there ball and the right hash are going to in motion and I've been seeing this a couple times here they're calling go everyone's moving and then the snap's coming back so little slow on the snap going to be a five yard fall start penalty brings up a first and 15 that number 80 this
007is a 64 215 tight end taller than yeah he's taller than every lineman out there biggest guy on the field it looks like right now looks like Jimmy Graham out there right hash doubles to the left side tight end right running back right going to be a fake handoff quarterbacks going keeping himself going to be brought down nothing going on maybe a yard good job out of the Eagles defense like cam Jan put the hit stick on the quarterback there great read by that defensive line to not go with that running back and stick with the quarterback great play by Hudson Bryant got up field that it was a fake did a spin move got himself right back into the play and it was a quick spin there too you look at Hudson he's not
008the biggest guy out there coming in at 5'9 155 he's not afraid to put his hand in the grass motion man once again going to be a little bubble right at us Columbia didn't get fooled at all good job Josiah Miller maybe a yard third and long for the wild cats yeah that was just a simple screener out there running right right back towards the quarterback and it looked like our lineman and sniffed it out pretty well all season long anytime that opposing team is for them so great job there only gain about a yard trips to the left side ball on the right hash running back number 23 goes to the left side as well still a lot of room over here Payton Andrews single receiver to the bottom side he's 13 yards off
009the ball quarterback's looking that way he's got him on a post goes at number 15 who goes up jump ball keeps his feet he's got enough for a first down about 25 yds you have 13 yds of coverage there if you're payon Andrews and you still give up the ball in front of you going to have to get that figured out here before too long as that takes the ball into the Eagles territory at the 30 yd line same formation trips to the left side ball on the right hash Wildcats up to the line of scrimmage right away still 10 yards off is Payton Andrews quarterback's going to fake the handoff again he's going to keep it himself he's going to get to the outside he's going to have to make pton Miss Pon pton
010pushes him out of bounds gain of nine second and one there's a lot going on in a hurry right there yeah we've seen pton Andrews kind of have that 10 yard cushion all season long um not sure why but trips to the right side into the boundary quarterback's going to fake it he's looking for the tight end thrives to throw it over the top he gets it just over the hand of Keegan Thompson good Pursuit there by Sam Denny gets him brought down gain of a call it 11 gets into the 10 yd line and it'll be first and goal good ball there by the quarterback just a lofted over two linebackers it looked like and that wide receiver just filled the filled the spot and picked up first down first and goal doubles to
011the right side tight end right running back's going to run behind his TI tight end two guys polling doesn't maybe gets to the five so call it a gain of three Josiah here is his name called once again good start on this first drive for Josiah makes the tackle second goal from the five four if I was Salem I would run the ball three times in a row right here they ran it once here's the second time with number 23 he's got the outside he's got to keep his feet moving and he does when he gets into the end zone for the Wildcats [Applause] wild Salem going to start as P cat I guess I'm not really sure we'll call it a pull cat and then they come back over for the Pat I watched
012her kick her in pregame probably went one for 90 he looks good on his steps back number seven's going to be the holder High snap it's a fake fooled me and there is nothing going didn't fool any of the Eagles cam Janet gets him slung down he fumbles on the play but I guess that is a dead ball when they fumble I thought that was just a terrible snap but that went right to the kicker it was just like it was supposed to and that's where they're going to take the Salem wild cats on that Mandy McGuire group scoreboard Salem six and the Eagles zero Salem had the ball for 4 minutes and 58 seconds as there are 7 minutes and 2 seconds remaining in this first quarter they did not do the light thing
013here yeah when they score a touchdown I thought they were supposed to but they got guess not LED lights here at Salem the field is completely white just like it would normally be and if you look over on the sides here in this Grand stands it is six to nothing there Josh and the sidelines are all green they have a green LED coming down on the side so kind of a neat little little flare here all right offense let's see what we got after last week George Weber Chevrolet was able to donate up to $1,000 now with 10 total touchdowns on the season Salem played a game of phone tag right there yelling to each other what was going to happen and the ball is going to be picked up just barely at the 23
014yd line Dalton rainwater made a decision to pick that ball up and it's a good thing he did now my question is is cuz it was over on the sideline if he puts his foot out of bounds I don't know cuz in the NFL that is considered it as out of bounds yeah is that in the high school level who knows we don't know the rules yeah we don't know any of them anymore they change them all every year Eagles offense coming out led by quarterback Mason vagley who comes out 40 of 85 passing for 511 yards rushing 47 attempts 204 yards on the ground four yards a carry it's going to be Jay Nelson in a little Wildcat here he's going to take the snap he's going to run to the right side going
015to put his foot in the ground get behind a couple linemen makes a couple men Miss and he's going to gain four new wrinkle there that we haven't seen out of Coach Horner yeah I like that I know last week we saw that big kid for East Alwood River their tight end he was about 65 260 they put him at Wildcat back there and I swear he was getting four five yards a carry if they would have put him in the back back field all game I think we would had our hands full but Jace on the year 42 attempts 121 yards three yards a carry going to be the same formation once again he's going to try to go up the middle bounces to the outside maybe got to the original line of scrimmage
016and it's going to bring up a third down and five from the 27 yd line Mason makes his way on the field I don't even know if he was used as a wide receiver there I don't think he was cuz we have a full rotation coming in now you got beltman rling and Sim Denny coming down closest to us ball on the right hash trips left running back left I believe that's going to be rainwater out by himself on the top side of the formation going to fake the hand off it's going to be a little screen it goes to rling he's got blockers in front of him he's got to get vertical and he does he gets enough for a first down after about a 10 yard gain first down Eagles simple screen pass
017there what uh we saw Salem run on that first drive great job by that o line to get up field be lead blockers for reing Lucas Lucas first year 12 receptions 161 yards two touchdowns so for a first time ever playing having himself a pretty good year this year doubles to the right side sniffer back right running back is Hicks to the left he's going to run to the right puts his foot in the ground looked like it was just a Zone we'll see what they give him maybe the line of scrimmage sun and down for sure nothing going looks like we just had the same formation there basically just flipped decid to run a little outside Zone there with Hicks tried to put his foot foot in the ground right around the hash marks
018on that right side but really couldn't find a a lane second and 10 doubles into the boundary sniff s back left three down lineman one blitzing linebacker right up the middle it's going to be Hicks good stalk blocking by rainwater he's got himself 15 yards and another Columbia Eagles first down into Salem Wildcat territory and that time he really didn't have to put his foot in the ground he had all this great stock block like you said by rainwater now they're going to flip field again Denny and rebling going to come on this side looks like pton Andrew has that sniffer back on the right side with rainwater as that right side receiver four down lineman three linebackers it's going to be Hicks once again he gets a little push from Mason he's going to
019get to the outside and go backwards just like Jared said you don't want to do that hicks on the season 24 rushes 113 yards 4 and a half yards per carry coach horer said in the Holton meets coaches show we talked about it in the aces wild pregame show we need to get out and use our speed and that's what the Eagles are trying to do do right now second and 10 clock stopped as Hicks went out of bounds Blitzen showing on the bottom of the formation here ribbings the motion man there Comes The Blitz with number 15 he gets his hand on him doesn't let go there was nothing going with that guy blitzing out of the bottom there he never got touched and I don't think rebling knew that he was supposed to
020go in motion Mason put his leg up two or three times oh reblin actually realized he had to go in motion and that can kind of mess up the flow of the play loss of one going to go trips left here now most likely going to roll Mason out to this left side would be my guess good to show though whenever reibling went into motion they blit Blitz that man that was over the top of them so then you got a safety at 10 yards they fake the little quick route they're going to throw to buman down the right sideline he's got a man over there he makes a good catch he gets himself into the end zone touch touchdown Eagles I thought that was built to in it was rainwater sorry about that Dalton
021great catch bud great throw too by Mason yeah not really much separation maybe a yard or two separation there by rainwater on that uh on that sideline but perfect Ball by Mason and dton kind of went up and got that ball right around on the 10 five yd line and was able to walk right in tie this ball game up maybe take the lead with this Pat on for the kick Keegan Thompson hasn't missed a pat yet this year hi that's incredible that is incredible well it was a high snap threw everything off and it was a Miss Pat I just the announcer Jinx man I screwed that all up doton gets his first touchdown of the season I give it to Jackson and then Keegan misses the first P you did you tried it
022so with that that takes the George Weber Chevrolet touchdown tracker up to 11 $1,100 coming from George Weber Chevrolet and that Mandy McGuire group scoreboard now reads Columbia 6 Salem six man that was that was a rough rough little time right there for me yeah I thought for sure that was Jackson over there nonetheless good drive there by the Eagles offense I think what set it up third and Longs just great over throw down field the rainwater Keegan going to be doing the kicking once again I believe the wind he's going to be blowing from the Columbia sideline over here to the Salem sideline it's going to be a low kick bounces at the 21 picked up at the 10 going to try to run down the right side go up the field Jackson makes
023one t tackle missed there by buman and brought down officially by Hudson Ste Hudson Bryant Cooper W Cameron steel all three of them got in on the tackle Eagles going to try to make a stop here other than the third and 13 completion had a pretty good little drive on that first first drive you look out here you got pton Andrews 511 G 64 Noah Knicks at number 80 tight end keep an eye on that quarterback going to handed the ball off nothing going cam Janet great play getting up there making the tackle not having anything going gain of half a yard 245 left in this first quarter 66 Salem has had one drive for a touchdown Columbia has had one drive for touchdown both teams had it for about four minutes there going to
024hand the ball off once again right up the middle it's going to be brought down for Eagles making the tackle going to be number 52 for the Eagles getting back there a muscot along with Keegan Thompson and Josiah Miller Furlow I believe coming on it is fow coming on now third and seven watch the football know you're down in distance still 10 yards over here with pyton almost a quad's look on that right side empty backfield quarterback's rolling backwards to that left side he's going to find a man open he's going to get to the 25 I think he's going to need the 27 though good job by the Eagles flowing over there and it is going to be short third down and two from the 25 and what do you do here you got
025the offense you think you can go for it yeah on that old line you usually have faith if you got those big boys looks like they're going to drout out a new team here maybe punt it and see what formation they get in looks like 32 is going to drop back look like to punt this one but you got got to be ready for a for a fake here Josiah comes off rling com let it bounce and it gives a great great Salem bounce I think it hit about the 45 and it's going to be down at the 25 little extracurricular there was that Keegan over there think it was Keegan and cam came and calmed everyone down so the Eagles are going to take over now at the 25 A2 yd line offense just
026got off the field great job there by the defense maybe a minute worth of time two minutes max see if coach Herer wants to keep running the ball a little bit take that shot like he did to Dalton rainwater on that first drive and start out in doubles here play action going to go to beling goes through his hands and nearly intercepted that was a great job by Mason having that timing that ball was on Jackson like the timing should have been but it was just a little high I think Jackson wasn't ready for it quite yet and about a foot or two over the top buam in was the intended receiver there he had a drop like that I think last week it was just a simple bubble route kind of went over his
027head a little bit so two weeks in a row with a a high ball over his head trips to the right side running back right four down linemen three linebackers looks to be man-to-man coverage on the top going to be roll out to the right good job sealing the edge of the lineman and it's going to be caught there by the Eagles Denny are they going to say he was out of bounds nope kept his feet in bounds good play gain of seven brings down a manageable third and three and that's it or a linebacker rather can be in the Box just hitches once again Mason looked to the right side nothing going he's going to have to make something happen throws it down the field and it falls incomplete and the Eagles offense is
028going to stop there I said a great job by the defense getting off the field Eagles offense was on the field there for all of 30 seconds we're going to have to punt here I imagine fourth down and three man through the first three weeks that was something we got weren weren't too good at uh first and second down would lead to Third and about 17 now this this week has been a lot better I know the last two three weeks have been um even even better so um good job of getting into those third Downs that you can almost get Mason's going to keep it he's going to get enough for a first down and get out of bounds that rugby style punt it worked out right there and it's a first down for
029the Eagles has Mason just very good patience waited for them to clear out took the first down and I think if you go back probably since you're a quarterback every quarterback has been a punter were you the punter on the on the team for half a quarter and we had Brenan depoy but he could throw it then we had Evan D he could do everything too so doubles motion man this is belman they're going to fake it to him go up the Middle with Cam Janik he keeps his feet moving keeps his feet moving they're still moving he's still going forward before getting brought down by a slew of wild cats and a five yard carry good job by cam what is a is it a pod of wild cats what do you call it
030P yeah I don't know if anybody has that answer we'd be interested on it I know ours is a flock of eagles flock of eagles yep ball on the right hash 30 seconds now in the first quarter doubles the left side sniffer back left hand the ball off up the middle to Hicks who gets to the line of scrimmage and I believe that'll be the end of the first quarter so a quick one Eagles gave up a touchdown on their first drive on the defensive side they go down on offense they get themselves a touchdown and they tie it 66 after the Miss Pat when we return we will have a flock of eagles and a clouder of wildcats returning on week seven football here from Salem we will be back on kchs right after
031[Music] this [Music] n [Music] every [Music] welcome back to the second quarter third and five doubles throw it out here to rling he's going to get near the 45 he needed the 47 I think you're going to go for it here Jared I was just kidding I think I'd punt going to bring out the punt team that's a little teaching moment there on a guy who his first year in reibling you know most of the time when you're running that route you need to make it five yards he made it three so something where you just wish you had an extra couple years with the kid and teach him there Salem is not going to send anybody back as it's in good faking territory Mason was forced to kick it in a hurry goes off
032the side of his foot and it is going to be walked up by Doug Stein mitz we've seen that a couple times this year Mason rolling out to that right and kicking it go straight out of bounds not really flipping the field there so from the 47 to the 43 so that would be a 10 yard punt right yep that is still not as shortest one though four four yards was the shortest one so was that the water game at Water I'm not sure who was that or M day I think I think it was mod day cuz I think it landed on our bench oh yeah you're right Wildcats offense comes out 11:47 here in the second quarter trips to the right side three down lineman for the Eagles three linebackers are going to
033go to this single slot receiver over here closest to us he's going to gain maybe four good job there so we've talked about pton whenever he's on that single side he's got some good cover or some leverage and a lot of yards between him he lets the play come to him I think that was a good job there by Jackson belman he went up and made the play and attack the play there and that's why it was only a gain of three instead of a gain of seven yeah and as a corner it's it's not really easy making a making a tackle and open field especially with those uh quick wide receivers out there so yeah great job by buil him in the pitter P his feet play action it's going to be a pass
034out to the outside good job there by pton keeping it to the inside great job by the eagles flying to the football there's Mason Hicks Bryant Josiah's over there as a lineman I mean there's all sorts of eagles over there to make the tackle gain of one and you had Payton kind of just waiting he he could have went in and tried to made a tackle there but force him back inside get more white hats fly into the ball straight down the line scrimmage like you said there was five or six maybe seven guys over there that flew to the ball now you got third and long which is what you want every time four down linemen now for the Eagles single receivers of the outside tight end and a sniffer back they hand the
035ball off this time nothing going good job Columbia Eagles making the tackle on the back field lost on the play cam Jan look like Logan Hicks there probably got put on a blitz there I'd say by coach stumping coach Germain on that third down you saw the quarterback kind of put his arms up in the air after he handed it off he already had those two guys right there in his face number 32 back to do the punts Lucas is standing about 50 yards back wind has pretty much died down just a little bit of a flutter out of the flags end over and punt going to bounce at the 20 and then Lucas looked like he wanted to go get it so from the 20 to the N9 and A2 yd line Eagles are
036going to have 90 yards ahead of them 10 minutes 7 seconds so good job again by the defense minute 40 coming off the clock it's kind of nice me and you were looking at two different scoreboards too they got two scoreboards here Salem we need to get the Eagles to get a video board have a video board at one end and a scoreboard at the other I think that'd be it'd be sweet especially on the Wilderness side I feel like that side just a little dull a little bit so we need to add we'll have to talk to coach H the school district see what can what can happen there doubles to the right side ball on the right hash built in your motion man they're going to float it up to him he's going
037to try to get to the outside great job blocking downfield by all of the Eagles good job there led by number 22 Jace Nelson and who is the wide receiver out there rainwater again great job Dalton rainwater he had his guy 10 12 yards down field probably he's probably been the best St stalk blocker this season um anytime that we run the ball outside uh toward toward him he does a great job of just sealing his guy off just just enough time just for those running backs to to make a move ball on the left has stps right running back right four down linemen for the wild cats see what the Eagles are going to do going to be a quick now route it's caught by belman good job blocking once again makes one man
038miss face mask not called that's all right even Ben Simmons is asking for the face mask call out of the white hat I mean you watch the guy's head SL slide back see his neck his whole head turned to the side for a split second gain of one there's a lot going on on that play for only a yard yeah you made two guys miss just to get back to that line of scrimmage lucky enough to fall forward flip the formation now ball on the right hash trips left single receiver down here is Dalton rainwater running back right four down linemen three linebackers Mason's looking deep he's got all sorts of time now it's starting to collapse and once it collapsed it collaps in a hurry going to be a loss of four on the
039play sacked he tried to step up in the pocket and it just all collapsed real quick yeah and starting that whole thing was number 70 in the mid middle Chandler s running at 58 so you know Brandon Jackson out this week we had to put new center in this week which I believe is KAS muscot might be Brody fur it is Brody furo KAS moved to a guard position so now we got third and 11 Dalton's way out of the formation over there going to be another Jacksonville route caught up in the back field is rebling he's trying to dance around tried watching that play to make something happen and nothing was going going to be a loss again fourth down and 12 11 or 12 there was really no spot for him to cut
040it up field so he kept running that sideline lost a yard at the beginning of it but able to get back to that line of scrimmage for a no gain to bring out the punt team here Mason's going to try to punt this one away could be some good field position for Salem Mason gets it off good job good spiral on this one bounces at the 50 where it's going to be downed by the Eagles at the 40 Hudson Bryant getting down the field good job by Logan asedo I believe that's how you say his last name for the Eagles got trucked got right back up and got there to down the ball 30 that's how old you are it isday all day tomorrow I won't be 30 no more 30 in a day I
041got one in about four or five days I don't even know what is so number 80 it's set up on the right side they shifted and once he shifted over our line defensive lineman shifted which startled the wild cats to a fall start how big is number 70 or 75 75 dude's a unit 61 275 doubles to the right side ball on the left hash tight end left big boys polling good job there though number 88 hayen heard theut he took it on and made the tackle sometimes as a d lineman all you got to do is just wait sometimes your guys are are pulling and all you have to do is sit there and wait wait for the ball to get ran right towards you great job trips to the right side now single
042receiver down here with buman high snap quarterback brings it down good job bringing it down he's got a slant makes one man miss good job there by the Eagles there's 10 guys around the football making the tackle brought down by Andrews was third and 16 is now third and six Ball's going to be on the right hash here so Salem most likely going to want to use this wide side of the field going to put a single receiver out here to the left doubles to the right quarterback's going to take the snap he's going to roll out to this way there's pressure in his face just going to throw it down field great catch going to be enough for a first down look like three Mason Bagley was there on the coverage but wide receiver
043number three L black went up and made a great catch to move the chains for another Salem first down Mason actually had his arm pinned in with the ball and the receiver so he was right there just little slow doubles to the right side tight end right quarterback's looking to the left side he's got a deep man down with built in on coverage he's in good spot but it's going to be a better play out of the wide receiver touchdown Wildcats good for about 40 something [Music] [Applause] yards yeah right when Jackson who was that corner there he snapped his head around the ball was already almost getting caught by that receiver he was in the right spot just split split second too slow not really able to react on the ball in a great
044ball great catch touchdown for the wild cats on for the p number 32 gets it up and it is good so he's two for 90 on the night that takes the score on the Mandy Maguire group scoreboard Salem 13 Columbia 6 we're going to head to a break and when we return we will bring you the final 520 before that Life Community Church halftime show we will be back on kchs right after this [Music] n [Music] welcome back to KCs Eagles trailing the wild cats 13 to6 in week seven action of the Kia conference got some card B going on yeah it's not country at least this is the edited version I don't know if there's any song that cardi B can sing that's clean for the high school football they found one though kickoff
045is going to be fumbled by rainwater at the 15 he's got all sorts of blockers in front of him now he's got the 30 yd line makes one man miss spins around and he's going to be brought down at the 30 little breathing room there after the muffed catch if this offense can get something going they did good on that first drive second Drive nothing going I think that third Drive really nothing going as well so got to get something going they will get the ball to start the second half yeah if you can waste at least three four minutes here punch One In The End Zone tie this ball game up go into halftime get that ball back blitzing number 15 Jace Nelson not a good job there on that play Jace was going
046to be the Wildcat quarterback cam made the initial contact on the Block but after the initial contact was lost there was nothing going for the Eagles like we were going to maybe stay in that formation but Mason troton back out now along with rebling and Denny along with Bel Janet GNA come off with Jason Nelson doubles for the Eagles now running back to the right side Blitzen backer is going to be number seven he's picked up by Hicks good job throws a low throw Falls incomplete penalty flag on the play in the vicinity of where holding typically happens looks like it will be a hold going to be declined third and 425 left now and I have third and long and I think here you don't really want to lose yardage if you can get
047anywhere from six to seven yards and punt this ball away and Pen him beep that'd be uh that'd be the best move here but see if coach Warner's got something up his sleeve if he wants to take a shot to get a first down right here trips to the left side four down linemen three linebackers all the defense up at about 10 yards nobody after that bagley's got time he's going to step up throws the ball down the middle of the field he's got built a minutes going to be intercepted number 17 comes across intercepts it at the 50 he's to the 40 35 going to be brought down by Denny and Hicks I don't know where number 17 Cooper lck came from timed it perfectly though and it's going to be picked off and
048really nothing going for the Eagles offense once again again yeah that was just simple verticals there and that's something I I don't know if I'm a fan of that play there um it's if anything get as many yards as you can and waste some more clock and then PT the ball and try to pin him deep now you give them the ball on our side of the field and um they can go up two scores here and waste as much clock as they want 350 in the first half remaining ball on the Eagles 34 yd line trips right ball on the right hash running back right they give it to him he's running to the left side buman forces it back in can't lose the edge buman and janic in on the tackle going to
049be a gain of nine second and one like Keegan Thompson might have been bling up the middle there case musop was the one that had to set the edge on this uh on this left side um and that running back was just able to pick up nine easy yards without even getting touched ball in the left hash doubles to the left side quarterback's looking to the left side gets it to about the 21 good for a first down but Sam Denny was there right away to make the tackle I got a wall in my way Jared it's ears yeah Denny there had about 10 yards of Separation was able to run up on the ball real fast good enough for a first down but great play by Denny going to go doubles into the boundary
050here tight end left got to watch out for 80 here on this left side quarterback's going to get the snap fake the hand off going to keep it up the middle three missed tackles still going to get positive yards going to be a gain of five should have been no gain on the play had Hera look like Bryant and Hicks in the back field there that high snap really threw off the timing on that play I think everyone was moving in a hurry and that's what got the defense back there and just got got them too quick clock still ticking now 225 left now in this first half Salem leading 136 with the ball and driving going to have a split receiver way out to the right quarterback's going to keep it again just run
051straight up the Middle with a couple lead blockers looks like he's going to be close to the first down needed to get to the 11 looks like he got to that 11 it's going to be a first down not first and goal yet down at the 11 yd line so can still pick up a first down before first and goal they have a split receiver out to the right tight end right running back to the left of the quarterback and hand it off to the running back and he get stuff right up the middle Cameron not only tackled the ball carrier and the blocker he took both of them out right there great read There by cam Janik definitely probably had him on a on a blitz where they were probably pulling uh pulling one
052of the gargard tackles and he blew it right up loss of about three second and 13 from the 14 yd line two tight end set here going to go same formation with that split receiver GNA give it to the quarterback again missed tackle on the back field he's going to dance around he's going to be close to the first down marker look like 65 Josiah was in the back field had a had a paw on him just couldn't quite bring him down that was just bad he just wanted to go for the arm tackle there didn't really chop his feet I think if he settles himself right there he might make that tackle but he just came like a bowl in the china shop and came up empty this is where the Eagles could really
053use a big stop here you have third down thir they're going to go 45 seconds left they're just going to hand it off right the middle looks like he's going to have the first down clock is going to stop I think time out Salem didn't really Mark if he had a first down yet I don't think he is and he going to be a yard short going to mark it fourth down cam janic in the back of the end zone talk him with a referee now walking off the field whenever you need to yeah listen to coach see what he has to say 38 seconds left fourth and one from about the two yard line good job there cam was blitzing on that play he got picked up but Keegan did a great job making
054contact and hanging on for dear life there forces that to be short fourth and one from the two what do you got going on here Jared you doing ad drono or I think you almost have to with the amount of siid they got up front they've kind of inside the 10 yard line they've been able to get whatever they want running the ball so if I'm Sal them I'm probably keeping the ball with a quarterback and have my running back lead me right up the middle you can still pick up first down and get maybe three or four plays right before half I think they still have two timeouts using their first one there but with 38 seconds left they're going to have to use their clock management at their very best while they're winning
05513-6 see what they got going here they got the big boys in looks like they're going to yep double tight sniffer back to the left two tight end sets wide receiver all the way out to the right side quarterback's going to keep it right up the middle he's going to have a wide open Lane doesn't even get touch touchdown wild [Music] cats three yd touchdown run for Samuel [Applause] green like I said there was a wide open hole running back cleared the way for him looks like they're going to kick this one to make it 20 to six 35 seconds left here in this first half I don't think anybody touched a quarterback right there it was wide open nobody 32 on who attemp attempt the extra point it is up and it is good
056that brings the score 20-6 on the Mandy Maguire group scoreboard with 35 seconds left here in this first half Columbia will be receiving the second half kickoff and on that drive there that's a that's a killer there now you're down two scores uh we had the ball with five minutes left only down one score 13- six third and 14 decided to throw uh vertical down the middle of the field got picked off all the way down to the 40 35 we'll say and with those two and a half minutes Salem goes on a drive punches a three- yard touchdown run to bring this score 20 to6 now in favor of Salem when we get to the Life Community Church halftime show we will try to find new scores of that roxan and Central game see
057what that is that's the Kia Conference Championship right there and until hopefully Columbia maybe play spoiler next week we will talk the first half we will talk about different things going on in Columbia Athletics as well so make sure you stick around with us for that Holton or I'm sorry that Life Community Church halftime show Central Salem is going to send it deep Central and roxan are in a tight one right now going to be picked up by 22 Nelson he's going to go to the outside he's going to try to run up the middle and he's going to be brought down at the 37 yd line we'll see what coach Herer decides to do here I had to guess it's probably he's got all three timeouts 27 seconds 60 yards we ran 60 yards
058and 13 seconds last week it could happen Jas Nelson's going to be the running back doubles ball in the left hash vaguely and Nelson in the back field just going to be a simple handoff to the left side where it's going to be a gain of three and I think that'll take us to the halftime show good first drive out of the Eagles offense they might try TR to run one more play they're hurrying around like they want to doubles once again running back to their right side are you kidding me that ball was snapped way before the horn sounded that was a quick whistle there I don't know what Mason was waiting on everything was set yeah coach Horner not real happy there think he wanted to get just one final playoff maybe just
059a Hail Mary you never know if you get a pass interference call uh can't end it on a on a flag so going in the half not really a good look there no I think Mason waited too long I think it was a quick whistle I think it was all messed up from the start right there so with all that being said quick first half there uh we will head to a break and when we return we will have the Life Community Church halftime show and our breakdown right after this on kchs [Music] yes [Music] I [Music] oh [Music] he [Music] oh [Music] you
