001all right time is 7 00 p.m and we will call the meeting to order kimberly if you do a roll call please present danny hi here andrea corey here greg meyer here scott middleton here thank you very much we have a quorum if you'd all join me in standing for our pledge of allegiance i pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america for which it stands one nation under god indivisible with liberty and justice for all thank you i'd like to welcome the public for attending our wonderful meeting this evening so would everybody get a chance to sign in perfect thank you and do we have any public comments not all at once just well thank you for attending anyway uh correspondents i think that's being passed around right now no correspondence
002okay we're just flying right through this though perfect all right on to our consent agenda agenda yeah um you've got all of your reports as per usual resignations you'll note are mainly transportation i just want to take the opportunity to say anybody with a desire to learn to drive a bus we will teach you anybody with a cdl we could get you that bus endorsement on it should you desire uh we are hiring a cook which is great news we are still one employee down in cooks we would like to have another cook but uh those are pretty much the the main things there with the vacancies we have a part-time custodian that we're going to be looking for the assignment for that would be a floater and then we also would like to post
003for a transportation secretary we uh talked more about this in executive session but uh we did interviews for transportation director this week and um we're gonna look at the secretary and see if we can find a different solution to that so um with the only addition of posting a vacancy for transportation secretary kind of like the transportation director we'll fill it if we find the right person otherwise we'll make do until we find that right person so with that i would recommend we approve the consent agenda as presented questions comments concerns all right i thought i'd entertain a motion to accept the consent agenda as presented i'll make the motion thank you tyson tell your second second thank you lisa kimberly your real call please [Music] yes andrea corey yes yes all right okay so
004we'll go on to uh our communications reports and presentations and first the presentation of the 2021 annual financial report and audit from i'm not even going to pronounce that if you would pronounce the name of the firm please it'd be great okay from jim there we go that one i can do the floor is your sir thank you so thank you for the opportunity to be here i will reflect personally that for years i would come here and make the presentation and as i did i would look out and i would see sister-in-law linda marshall sitting in the audience i look up this year i do not steal in this marshall apparently she wasn't coming for me i'm kind of hurt but um that's the way it goes so i will also tell you that
005in this time of code there are challenges in practicing that we didn't experience before many of them we have under control one of them i do not quite have solved is my glasses keep fogging up when i wear my mask however i've got most of these numbers memorized so we should be just fine so let me first tell you to report to the board the manner in which the audit was conducted and the overall condition of the records so we did the audit we did it in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and governmental auditing standards we applied those specific regulations and standards that apply to illinois school districts specifically we tested the assets liabilities revenues and expenses of the district we also tested separately the federal monies which you received in connection with your
006federal contracts and you were subject to what is called a single audit which is additional testing required based upon the dollar amount of federal monies which you received in the current year and so the dollar amount of revenues which you received exceeded that threshold which is 750 000 and as a consequence we performed additional audit tests specifically as mandated by federal regulation on the federal monies which you received i will tell you that you have no question costs in your federal monies we found no no discrepancies in the expenditures we found that the school district complied with all of the provisions and conditions associated with the federal grants that's really a credit to the financial structure of the administration and specifically as much as i hate saying nice stuff about her in front of her
007julie who does a really nice job and who made sure that all of those federal monies were appropriately accounted for i'm happy to tell you that there are any number of audits that we conduct where we find issues not huge issues but discrepancies relative to the requirements and conditions associated with the receipt and expenditure of federal monies those grants are specific as to all of the requirements associated with that and many many organizations end up with a comment or or several comments you all have none and so that's really a credit to your administration we did find overall the books and records to be neat and orderly we had the complete cooperation of your administration there were no disagreements over accounting issues no disputes over access to accounting and auditing records and documentation no disagreements
008over the financial statement presentation no attempts to unduly dissuade us from our opinions in all ways the audit went really very much textbook as you would want it to be so as a result of that work we come to you with a draft clean opinion subject only to your approval and then we're ready to issue i should also mention the afr which is the filing for the state of illinois is all complete and ready to be filed as well and we simply can't file it until we have a completed audit we don't have a completed audit until you accept it and so here we are and so if we then move past the clean opinion the draft clean opinion to page four of the financial statements i'm going to walk you through the uh financial
009items now at the risk of telling you what you already can see there are 69 pages to this report and at an average of one or two minutes a page we'll be here for about an hour and a half however we're gonna we're gonna do an executive level kind of briefing of this and simply give you the set of highlights page four which is your assets and liabilities on a cash basis of accounting which is the regulatory basis accepted by the state of illinois for school districts it starts with cash and investments of a total of 19 163 000 split between 6 million 132 and 13 million and change in in the investment line item now i will tell you that you all have done an especially proactive job this year in ensuring that your
010monies were invested in interest-bearing securities and you have placed them into a dietrich bank money market account which has actually given you more flexibility and interest than you might have otherwise earned with your cds or other bank kinds of investments so you've done a nice job especially this year in investing those monies now unfortunately the interest rate environment is such that is we'll discuss notwithstanding your best interest your interest income in total is actually down relative to last year but that's rate driven and is despite the fact that you've done a nice job of investing all those monies at the end of the day you can't get water from a stone or interest from your monies so total cash and investments of 19163 that's up just a little over the previous year you then have
011your general fixed assets land building improvements other than buildings and capitalized equipment that number reflects the on significantly reflects two items the ongoing construction activity which you had in 2021 and actually were able to complete in 2021 and place into service and some additional unusual expenditures specifically driven by coven and two school buses so specifically you had roughly 2.9 million in capital expenditures in 2021 of that amount approximately 145 to 150 000 was to buy two school buses you had another not quite two hundred and fifty thousand dollars in chrome books and other computer equipment much of which was covered driven and then you had the expansion of the facilities you had another 2.4 almost 2.5 million dollars spent in the building through train which was completed all of that then went into your fixed
012assets so 2 million not you also had some depreciation of another million six or so that's a non-cash charge that gives you the balances that that are in your equipment total assets then of 60 million 914 000 on a cash basis consisting as we said of 19 million and a little bit in cash in the rest of fixed assets on the liability side the big dollars i mean you have a little bit of activity fund liability obviously but the big dollars are you see 12 million 140 000 in bonds outstanding at june 30 2021 that number is after the payment of 3 million 270 000 in principle as scheduled in the bond indentures for 2021. specifically there were no payments scheduled for the 2014 bonds there was 240 000 scheduled for the 2017 bonds 3
013million and 30 000 in the 2020 bonds all of which was paid on a timely basis uh all of those bond issues that make up the 12 million 140 000 the lion's share of which is the 2020 bonds the 2020 bonds have 9.9 million left in them as of june 30 2021. all three of those bond issues are fully paid in four years so over the next four years with debt service payments they're completely paid and substantially paid after three years you then have fund balances and the fund balances in total come to another 48 million i would point out that every single fund you have has a positive fund balance and before i turn the page i will pause to see if anyone has any questions on page five the statement of revenues and
014expenses specifically because this again is cash or state of illinois regulatory basis these are cash receipts and cash disbursements to the far right you see the total column you see 19 sorry 31 million 973 000 that is somewhat comparable in most cases to last year let's talk about the specifics local sources of 18 million 438 000 that's almost identical in round numbers too the previous year last year was 18 million 440. i'm going to talk about some of the unusual differences embedded in that within a minute you have state sources of 3 million 824 000 again that's comparable last year the federal sources of 1 million 264 that is up as we discussed from 769 000 in the previous year and some 714 000 a year before that so you were actually subject to a
015single audit last year although just barely this year if you're going to be subject to a single audit you'd like to be a little more over the 750 threshold as you are this year you actually turn back to page 60 and 61 just real quickly you can see the federal monies both expended and received and you can see that the department of agriculture for food and such increased from 214 000 to 392 000. you can see that the dollars passed through the state of education so the department of education also increased from 549 000 to 752 000 so a 200 000 or so increase in the food another 200 000 increase in the education fund on the next page you can see that there are new funds for emergency and secondary school relief of another
016188 000. those are new dollars that you hadn't received previously and i went ahead and highlighted that won't be in the final but for draft purposes i highlighted it for you the million 348 000 in expenditures of federal monies this year versus expenditures of 780 000 last year as i said 714 000 in 2019. then if we turn back to page five the state on behalf payments of 8 million 444 that's a little bit theoretical the state doesn't send you that money they simply put it into your retirement funds and so you see it both as a revenue and an expense unusual items for revenues this year relative to other years i already mentioned interest interest income last year was a hundred and eighty thousand issues some seventy thousand on the food service revenue side
017as you might imagine last year your food service revenues were over four hundred thousand roughly four hundred and twenty thousand this year they were at ten thousand dollars so a dramatic decrease in the food revenues in your revenue profile sports fees last year you had 26 000 in collections for people coming to sports events this year you had none um the the other one that jumped out was the tech fee the techno fee that you charged this year for use of chromebooks and such so that was 42 000 in revenues receipts for 21 that was not in 20. so that's an increase relative to the previous year the other item i wanted to just mention is embedded within your revenue specifically in operations and maintenance in the building fund fund 20 julie would call it
018is 187 000 from ameren which represents the payment of the energy incentives which you received as a result of having put in certain energy driven construction items that trane put in place so we did specifically see that 187 000 come in so not only are you ecologically sensitive but you're 187 000 to the good to boot so total revenues are 31 000 sorry 31 million on the expense side if you go again to the total column you see total expenses of 31 million 888 000 let's break that into some pieces because that number is just too big to digest 31 million 888 000 in disbursements of which 2.9 million represented capital expenditures from the building and the buses and the computers as we discussed you had debt service for principal and interest of another 3.4
019million as we discussed earlier for the principal payments and some interest so that's 2.9 for capital 3.4 for debt service embedded in that 31 million is the 8.4 million theoretical in and out from the state of miss of illinois for on behalf payments so if you boil those three numbers out of the 31 million eight you're left with 17 million two in expenditures to talk about if you take that number some four million is all of the other costs of the school district supplies some of which were down quite a bit of the line items were up because the covet as you might imagine and so forth but the big dollars within that remaining 17 and the dollars that are controllable are salaries and benefits benefits this year were roughly one million seven hundred thousand
020dollars in total relatively comparable to the previous year both in total and as a percentage of salaries the salary number this year embedded within your audit is 11 million four hundred thousand dollars roughly which represents an increase of some seven hundred thousand dollars from last year's ten million seven hundred thousand dollars that increase is driven by raises to the various teachers and others in many cases six percent so that's what we saw pretty consistently as well as 11 net full-time employees in the over what was there in the previous year so last year we saw an average of 233 full-time employees when we were doing some of our audit testing this year that number came in at 245 for us and so that increase drove part of that increase in salary as well as the
021raises that then gets you to total financing sources and uses of profit so to speak of 87 000 which is to say you can't come any closer to break even on a cash receipts and disbursements basis on a 32 million dollar budget than to come within 88 000 and so that is phenomenal now i do want to point out because when you look at the individual budget sorry the individual line items for the funds you would see that all of the funds showed a surplus with the exception of operations and maintenance operation and maintenance showed a deficit for the year of one million six hundred and seventy six thousand dollars but it's important to remember these are cash basis and that includes the expenditure of in this case two and a half million dollars two
022million five hundred and sixty thousand which went towards the building construction and some of the computer equipment and such all of that is embedded within the operations and maintenance fund and what has drove that number to negative i have just one more comment and then i will turn the agenda back to you and you can get back to flying through the other item that is a significant liability for the school districts it doesn't show up on these financial statements because of the regulatory basis of the statements that you present in the nature of the liability is your pension fund and over the years we have reported to the board and the board has diligently watched the pension the uh the imrf fund and how it has moved if you look at page 57 let me
023talk about that for just a minute and i actually went through and highlighted a few numbers there to talk about because there's an awful lot of numbers on this page first off i will tell you this schedule in the required this is a required schedule this is actually called the 10-year schedule of funding progress now for those of you who are as good accountants as i am you will look at that and you will tell me that the 10-year schedule has seven years on it and that's because they changed the reporting requirements starting in 2014 and so every year we add a year until we get to 10. so right now we have a seven year spread next year we'll have an eight year spread and so forth so let's look at the 2020 year
024first because that's the most recent available year because of the actuary of competitions and such the third yellow highlighted number under 2020 is where i want to draw your attention first that shows a negative thousand 525 hundred and sixty seven dollars that bracketed number is a very happy number for you all because under this presentation format that is a negative liability that is to say that right now your pension fund at the end at june 30 is over funded relative to the actuarial calculations specifically the actuaries have calculated with the various impacts that number of employees raises that are expected life expectancy and so forth they've calculated that your total pension liability is twelve million eight hundred and twenty five thousand dollars they also have pr you also have assets in place of 13 million
025these are highlighted numbers 13 million three hundred and fifty one thousand so that you have as i said a positive asset balance within your pension fund of five hundred and twenty five thousand now i would not run out and spend that this week if you look back just two years ago two years to the right of that 525 000 is highlighted you can see that you had a liability of 1 million three hundred and eighty seven thousand so this is driven by changes in actuarial assumptions and it's also driven by the results of the marketplace so one of the benefits that you all have received now you and other state of illinois pensions if you go up from the 13 million 330 the third number in that little grouping is and twenty 1 thousand that
026represents the investment earnings allocated to your plan this year and one million nine thirty two last year so those two really outstanding years have helped drive you from the unfunded 1 million 387 that you were in at the end of night at the end of 18 to a positive funding status of 525 000 at the end of 20. now if the market were to crash tomorrow then your report in 22 would be impacted by that negatively so that's why they want to do a 10-year trend to show you what's happening so from a trend perspective to give you a sense of the volatility and the dollars involved in 2014 you began the year so really july 1 2013 you began the year with liabilities of eight million seven hundred and eighty three thousand dollars six
027years later six sorry eight four years later all of fourteen fifty six seven seven four years later that liability of eight million seven eighty three for the school district is now twelve million eight hundred and twenty five so you can see that it's increased your pension liability exposure actuarially has increased by four million forty one thousand dollars in that seven year period of time at the same time you can see that your assets into at the beginning of 2014 are highlighted at 8 million 653 they're now at 13 351. so your assets have increased by 4 million 698 000 in that same period that your liabilities increased by a little more than 4 million which is how it is you come to have a surplus to some 525 000 and then just to again drive
028home the importance of your portfolio in the last two years the 4 million 698 000 increase in assets the 20 and 19 increase in net investment income was 3 million 650 so a significant portion now that's somewhat by design is supposed to be driven by investments i would also point out the school district has if you look and it'll be done the contributions from employer every year are made on time in full as computed by the actuary so you have done everything that the state of illinois actuaries have suggested you should do every single year so you have put in somewhere between a million eight and two million dollars in contributions over the last seven years which also by the way is how you end up with a positive liability which is to say an
029overfunded status of 525 000. it's really a lot more fun to end on that note than to tell you as i had to in some years that you were underfunded by two million dollars so on that i'm going to pause and see if anyone has any questions and if not mr chairman i would only ask that you approve the audit the following year we're at 1.9 so it's a 2.5 million dollar swing what's the reason for negative earnings in the investment income so negative earnings is simply the market crash that year relative to your investments and so as the market went down in that particular year now they do a they the actuaries have a specific calculation so it isn't as simple as pull up the old wall street journal and look at the beginning
030of the year and the end of the year and the difference they do a smoothing of activity over a number of years but if that line item is a hundred percent market driven and so when the when the stock market went down or when interest rates cratered and drove down the value of your bonds that reflects itself in that negative number that's why they want to put a seven to ten year spread because you can't react to any one year notwithstanding i would just said how exciting it is to be overfunded because it's always better to be over funded and underfunded but you've got to look at the seven year trend when you look at that seven year trend by the way six of the seven years were positive any other questions comments does this
031would be an accident uh i believe that what we've always done is approved it at this point in time okay so just to accept it yeah to accept it right any other discussions questions comments would it be like to make a motion to accept the financial report as presented i'll make the motion tammy andrea corey yes greg meyer yes scott middle camp all right lisa schumacher yes tyson search yes adam hampton yes sammy hines yes and thank you jim for your presentation and uh congratulations very much and you know i should say because a couple of my uh staff wanted me to make sure that i specifically mentioned how nice the staff treated them they're not used to that from some of our clients auditors aren't always the most popular folks in the room but
032your staff was especially receptive and so they enjoy coming out and frankly because the records are in such good shape it makes it easy because it's a lot less stressful when you've got to go through and figure out why stuff is mucked up so this is a happy audit i'd like to thank julie for all your work on this i know that's behind the scenes and it's as a board member it's very refreshing to get a report like this so thank you very much all right on to our communication report we have our enrollment report everything that's presented all right administrative reports building report parkview today parkview today all right it's a parkview day so this is why we're working on you see the pinky yes yes that's right dressed impressed um so i'll start
033parkview students participated in our annual fundraiser by selling chocolate bars this year students took home boxes of 60 assorted chocolate bars to sell at one dollar a bar our students sold 812 boxes of chocolate so i'm curious any show of hands anybody get hit up for chocolate bars it'd be hard to believe that not everyone up here did our kids were very excited and i was blown away because we originally had 400 boxes brought in and i was worried that we weren't going to sell 400 boxes and i think within the first three days 400 boxes went out the door so we were scrambling to try to get more chocolate so i was kind of happy to finally end it after 812 boxes um and our students get prizes for selling um a certain number
034of boxes so they're anxiously awaiting them trying to get all our prizes in line we still have to make a few phone calls but some of the prizes that they sold one box there's a cash and candy grab two bar three boxes there's a silly string battle with the principal and then uh pizza and then uh four boxes a limo ride and and lunch and then we have prizes all the way up to nine boxes and uh that's a five five pound chocolate bar so yeah so they were excited about that um tonight teachers right now are wrapping up parent-teacher conferences um they have two more well one more night and then a morning many of our teachers have been here all day long pta was awesome to provide dinner for our teachers it was
035in a teacher's lives and it was delicious so we want to thank them for that speaking of pta tomorrow night is pta movie night at here at parkview the blacktop playground we're going families are encouraged to show up by 6 pm to get situated get your seats with the movie beginning at 6 30. it's i think it's going to be kind of chilly so make sure you dress dress warm the feature is going to be the 2019 animated film the addams family which is rated pg admission is free concessions are being sold there for pta next week we have red ribbon week and i believe all the schools throughout the district are doing this at parkview we're focusing on drug prevention awareness so all of our days are going to be geared around healthy making
036healthy choices monday we're having kids wear red and we're going to say keep your heart and body healthy and teachers will be doing lessons on making healthy choices wednesday another example work out for a stronger you kids can wear workout clothes which i know teachers love that also and we have veterans day approaching and parkview kind of has three things planned but i know every bill in the district is doing something special for veterans day the parkview students will be bringing in the names of family members who have served in our military and then we will create an honor wall with these names in our music hallway and actually once it all gets up it's kind of impressive how many people that these kids have in their family people that have that been part of
037colombia that are have been in the military so it's really kind of an impressive thing mr dugan takes care of reading about the branch's responsibilities and we listened to their anthem i'll tell you my favorite is the navy one during the morning announcements on the week of veterans day one a day then on november 10th we will take all of parkview up to the veterans memorial for the park in the park for the pledge and morning announcements there's also a plaque there mr dugan will talk a little bit about the plaque and then the students and teachers are not in class on veterans day thursday december december november 11th wow and then the parkview is also having an in-person book fair which we're really excited about so the students will go to the book fair
038uh the week of november 15-19 they'll go during their regular scheduled library time however mrs rose will have the book fair open to parents and families wednesday after school from three to eight so she puts in a little extra hours to make sure our families can get to the book fair also on a cea note iea was giving away micro grants for social activities to boost morale with teachers and we were awarded one so on november 4th we're going to gather at the sandbank school which is the one by 11 south and eat drink be merry might be a little competitive corn hole game happening too but i'm not sure about that also the cea walked in the homecoming parade for the first time and we gave out pencils for a parade of viewers and
039walked did a lot of waving and things like that so that was kind of a fun thing too so that's parking in a oh nutshell you very much very nice i appreciate that uh next is our assistant superintendent reporter yeah alyssa smith's with family our thoughts and prayers are with them um she did send out an email to the board regarding the book study that we're doing on ron clark move your boss if you're interested go to the email and you can sign yourself up but uh that's really all we have for that report so can we move into the i'll just keep talking just keep on going just keep on going all right um we were named oh first foias we had three in this last month it was um one of our biggest
040ones now we have had the quarterly smart procure that we're all used to they they do that every every quarter to find out who we sell things to or buy things from local labs was a new one they were asking for covid related data regarding our students and uh faculty and we did not we responded in a timely manner we didn't really keep that data the way that they wanted it and then we had data research partners that sent to sephora looking at names and salaries of the employees and we responded to that in a timely manner so we had three we responded to all of them um now on to the report we were are named in the states mask and isolation suit um i'll update the board more in closed session today but
041november 5th is our court date um whatever they rule on november 5th which is a friday an email will go out over the weekend to inform the parents as to what was the court's decision so that monday on the 8th they know where we stand regarding the temporary restraining order right now um the restraining order is to not require masks so masks would become optional if they award that and also not to isolate students so there'd be no quarantining for close contact um literally you can go through all the permutations they could deny the temporary restraining order they could grant part of it they could and so we won't know until the fifth and on the weekend will notify the parents so that they know what the ruling was and how their kids are coming
042to school on monday the 8th as mentioned last month moving on to the next subject the city's expect experiencing growth which is good you've got the bluff bluff ridge estates you've got the timber rocks estates you've got walnut ridge and country crossings those are in the works and there's other ones that are planned and not yet finalized so we're still looking at that influx of families we need to look at our facilities currently east eagleview is packed the high school is packed i'm not saying that there's plenty of room at the middle school and parkview but they are definitely not as packed as the other two so we're gonna need to do a facility studies um we need to brainstorm object options for this we need to develop a long-term plan um one of the
043nice things is is the auditor pointed out our bonds are going to be paid off in four years so we'd be able to without changing the tax rate sell more bonds for any any construction that might be necessary with that what i recommend and we'll talk more about this uh later but is a committee of the whole structure where pretty much on every month from here on out we're going to have a an action item or a discussion item where we discuss this situation that we have the first thing i'm going to do is put together a historical trend i've got the historical trend of where it's gone what i need to do is overlay what construction has happened in the last 10 years what subdivisions have been added and how did that affect our
044enrollments you know as we look then forward and we project into the future we've got these places that are being built should we see similar enrollment trends and and things of that nature um but there's going to be a lot of work that's going to need to happen over the next year as we really try and figure out how to deal with this thing and so the first test is to break down the steps and plan the work and that's going to be on next month's meeting and start looking at some of the data if there's any questions or concerns or comments regarding that um please give me a phone call but uh that's gonna be a repairing item it's gonna be the the probably the number one thing that we really need to look
045at and with that that is all i have for the superintendent's report all right items for action we have nothing this evening so let's go on to our discussion items first is the is iasb resolutions yeah and this is you've all got them in your in your packets the there are what um so there's 20 some resolutions the best way to go through this is i i've looked over all of them and it ends with each one of them if you support or oppose that's what they're recommending you do i will say that i don't there's none that really popped out to me except for item number 15 under new resolutions child safe gun storage uh it the iasb's committee is recommending that we oppose that one and that sounds interesting mr duggan's eyes just
046go up what do you mean we're not wanting child safe gun storage in that and it does sound odd to be opposing that the rationale for that is is because the the ref the the thing that they're advocating is to control what happens in the home and the illinois association of school boards feel strongly that they should control what happens in schools they should try and legislate what happens in schools and other organizations will deal with what goes on in the home it's not that they don't want to have safety for this but last year we had a community member that spoke about this and wanted us to support this and so i just want to point out that last year we did have a community member that supported it or wanted us to support
047it um i get that we want safe kids safe families iasb says that we you know they're recommending that we oppose it we can vote either way uh tammy's gonna attend the meeting and maybe that's the first good one that we should discuss and then really kind of look at it is there anything else that pops out but uh where do we stand on the child safe gun storage i think that community community member will be at the next meeting okay thinking it would be discussed right before we because usually we discussed it right before we went to the state well i can tell i read through it and i i conclude we should oppose it but i think it's overreach there's already rules for older for young kids and gun safety storage but this
048is just taking another level is there anyone that feels strongly in the other way i'm almost with tammy here on this one though is is this something we can do next month and actually publish this so the public can have an input and find out if there's anything strong the public wants in here or is that yeah i mean we can we can do that we i don't think that there's anything wrong with us scanning this putting it on our website directing parents to it as to what they do and have them contact you if they well i remember in the past we've had people that have shown up to speak on resolutions that they feel strongly about and i feel i represent the community and i kind of would like to have the community
049input on it personally okay what do you guys think i do have a question on that one though because i went through each of these and i marked like yes or no if i was for it or not because i thought we'd maybe go around although we've never done that before where we've gone around and said do we support or oppose it and we probably need to do that because i don't know necessarily how to vote unless you guys tell me yeah well what we've done what we did last year here was we we discussed the child's the the child safe gun storage because that was brought up right and that was the one that we i believe we voted in congruence with isb to to to oppose it but then we just discussed all
050of them as a whole and does anybody differ from what the recommendation from the subcommittee is and i don't think there was any differing from the subcommittees we can go through next month and and go through these really quickly and almost make them oh i think that child safe gun storage was from last year versus this year is the age and at home i think they were trying to increase the age i thought or dropped the age i don't remember anything about the age i'd have to go back and look but do we want to table this for next month i think we do and then have everybody take a look at these things and if they are if they're opposed to the the isb recommendation bring those things up or if there's something that
051that you feel very strongly about like greg said i mean we normally have i know at least one community member that comes in for for any kind of gun safety type of things and then that way um we can give tammy direct um you know direction as far as that goes and said say yeah you know we're going with all of them or or one of them might be hanging out there i know we've in the past in the past years we've always talked about items that may be not in alignment with what iasb is is recommending but right all right with that do you want me to that post this on our website is that possible yeah yeah we could scan it put it on the website i like the transparency of it so
052people get involved if they don't want to they most certainly don't have to but and that would be just a discussion on them again because we're just giving guidance to yeah there's no there's no no vote for us right tammy will vote at the meeting yep all right kick that can down the road all right um next time it's easy for kim to put out there too attorney and pdf yeah everything's easy for campus it's a great job all right individual board mentor comments anybody have anything [Music] no all right well i'm for present program i'm not gonna say anything that if you guys aren't so all right next item is to go into executive session and we're gonna go in for the purposes of appointment employment compensation discipline performance or the dismissal of a
