is good evening Dr Cog you like that sound Congratulations by the way oh good evening uh Dr coges uh to our Board of Education to our administrators to our staff to our families and student who out are listening um I am opening uh up for our public hearing this year for a waiver uh for one of the days on our school calendar we will be making the recommendation to the board to adopt the school calendar um at next week's regular meeting and so when we started off this school year we started with we are all one we realized that we are part of a uh Unified District and that we serve students from prek to 12 uh one of the things that we uh talked about as we were developing this year's calendar is making
sure that uh everyone had voice and that we're engaging Empower and impacting as one team and so we have four levels that we need to look at ELC has its needs our elementary has its needs on a calendar uh our uh middle school and high school also have needs um on the school calendar and so the calendar committee is made up majority by contract of uh cmea members but we also ask Acme members to join us and then we have representation uh from Administration as well this year we met on the school calendar um two times and um we'll talk about what those discussions uh look like uh but again each school has a representative that uh is on the school calendar so in our overview of our discussion we try to balance out trimesters
and uh semesters at the elementary level Middle School level are on trimesters and then our high school is on quarter and uh semester uh we talk about things like like final construction we talk about new orientation ELC once we um get the calendar approved then they take our days and they build their calendar uh we made some adjustments over the years where uh grades 1 through n um start and then we bring in K and 10 through 12 again based on the feedback uh from the staff and what those needs of those entering grades are uh we have a in our waiver uh that we're asking for is a PD Day in February which is a full School Improvement day I'll talk more about that uh we try to finish along with other high schools
for students that are transferring in and out we've made some adjustments over the years uh where that now Falls all the time before we uh break for winter recess uh we look at the uh needs of our uh myp and our IB program and we make considerations around our driver driver's ad and then we always add at some point once the high school and middle school uh decide on graduation dates we add those to the calendar so that families that have members coming in from out of town it's one place for everyone to take a look at our calendar committee has always been committed to um taking um state holidays uh and then last year if you remember we asked instead of taking Lincoln's birthday again when we know better we do better we needed
a waiver to ask for it to be President's Day this year we have added eight um four early dismissal days um and then we have our days that are School Improvement days and Records day I know one of the questions that has come up is like what happens on school Improvement days well those are training days those are professional development days those are days where we build the Capac capity of our staff and so while we've added for early dismissal days again what we know from researches that being in extended time um in professional development it helps supports the needs of our teachers who and our staff who can then support the needs of our students our students um post pandemic have come in with some very different needs and so we answered those questions
through our strategic plan uh and then we're trying to address that need those needs as we build the capacity of our staff uh and again we have all stakeholders come to the table and um give their voice to the reason um and how we're going to use our school Improvement days so some of the membership discussions and some things that we had to work through was that uh building of that balance calendar making sure uh per our cont contract that we get our records day in for our staff um and then we were able to resolve that we were missing um a quarter three TR change um the coloring of it was wrong little minor things that we had to do ending our trimesters on time um and originally what we had taken to the
team was being on um having early dismissal days on all Wednesdays and what we realized is that uh some classes would be missed all the time on Wednesday so we made some adjustments and put those days VAR those days throughout the calendar and made some alternative days and we've asked the principles uh at the elementary level to uh make some adjustments so that AM and PM schedules can be um changed around so that those students who are off on like a Wednesday afternoon don't always miss their Wednesday special or that those teachers don't always miss their planning time and so we went to our principls and said can you consider this and they have agreed to make those adjustments to their schedules uh and then the Middle School um would like all of their students
to start at the same time on the same day and so the requirement for the public hearing of why we um are uh doing the public hearing is about having a full day school Improvement day on February 13th when we have a full day um we have Institute days which are the two days at the beginning of the year that we use for professional development we use a day in um for parent teacher conferences as a um as a Institute day and then we've added one uh that we used this past January we just implemented that uh this year was our first time doing that uh where students are not present but uh staff is present and again that is a full day of profession development for our staff uh on February 13th of 2026
uh we get to bank day so every minute over 300 instructional minutes we get to set aside that time and say hey we want to have a full day what we know from research is that the more time the staff is able to spend in professional development um it helps them to build their capacity um right now um our staff is asking to build their capacity uh there could be a time when we could lower those number of days but again based on our strategic plan and based on the needs of our students uh we need to capture uh those extended periods of time when they can collaborate and build this culture around um developing professionally uh I would like also like to add that for years we have been trying to create a calendar
where all employees and not just our cmea group receives rigorous professional development and this is an answer to that as well and our feedback that we have had from staff is that they have um received rigorous training that has helped support um the needs of the students and so that February 13th date counts as a day of attendance and so you know if you you think about over the years some things that we've talked about is a e-learning day and does it have to be made up um this day counts as a day of attendance because we've banked enough instructional hours to say we would we need that full day um for professional development and so we've met the requirements that we um posted on the district website uh that we posted in the Tribune
and then um we are coming as the public hearing um for today and we have sent that notification or we did send that notification both to Acme and to cmea and so this is our full day of 176 days of required um days of counted attendance um for students uh that we would be asking and recommending to the board to approve for next week questions the only question I have if you go back to the originals the first one more okay can you just explain there's been a little little bit of chatter on and social media that so the early dismissal days and that days off number one staff members cmea Acme and um uh your team yes are together making these decisions you guys are you guys are having a committee making the decisions
on the calendar yes so this is the committee members that make the decisions on the calendar then the the Acme executive board goes they go to their team and they come back with any changes or any other directions and guidance that they want us to take a the majority of IT staff members that are working in the district is good so on the early dismissal days just for understanding I understand why they have it but the kids go home but the the staff members don't no staff members stay full day right they stay here and they're working on their plans and they're working on their time and they're working on how to develop uh better ways to serve the students correct yeah because there is misunderstanding that they just thinking that you know I understand
the days and they added four more but there is a purpose and a reason behind all of that yes there is um and it is training and it is extended amount of time for training we bring in external trainers we bring in our internal trainers our coaches just today was a a school Improvement day and um our coaches were out in every in each building building capacity on I'm going to say explicit instruction but that was a a three-hour period that they got to spend together that we got to break up into groups and um they got to learn together which is extremely important absolutely for them and how they're going to proceed teaching yes and then the other part is I think what we did is when we approved the health and wellness and
we talked about that I thought that coming out a break was fantastic because you know you get out a break and everybody's still in that you got to get into that but that's the idea is making sure our staff and everybody included right everybody included is that we're conscious about Health and Welfare of them yes it's it's the well-being and staff staff want to feel like they are being heard and their voices being taken seriously about what it is that their needs are we conduct annual surveys asking them what training they want what do they need we ask them to be vulnerable and say what do you need help in and they give us those answers and this is a direct link to their response right okay great Dr Hall is your hand up no
ma'am no okay all right are there days are there days for parent teacher conferences for the high school yes so we have um our one uh parent teacher conference they're all they're they're held on the same day okay where is and then we offer virtual and uh in person um for a parent teacher conference is that October 9th for the okay yes I I just thought maybe the parent teacher conferences for high school would be after the end of the first trimester um what we discovered and what we changed last year was that when we brought parents in before that we had discussions about work that was missing all those homework assignments all that missing work and what we did see in the feedback that we receive is that students were able to turn that
around before the end of the trimester and the end of the um semester and get that work in and so it was our tool to help students again um be able to perform and get what they need and A little nudge from the parents as well makes sense I have a question yes ma'am so on the Aesthetics when I look at the calendar it does appear every month you know the students are out for two and a half days per month so what kind of communication do we tell the parents like to have so that they have pieces about that what like is there something that is published do we say anything is there any explanations given to parents so they understand um we we do give them the school calendar we have meetings and
then um principles send out their communication to parents around it and we try to give them the calendar as early as possible possible one day I'm not saying which year and um Mr O so you can help me with this when we get out of our construction days we'll be able to do like a two-year calendar that is the hope of the committee um uh that we'll be able to give a two-year calendar but right now we've kind of been doing yearby year because of construction and we don't always know when we'll be able to start or how early or late we'll be able to start or end but we do communicate this to families like I said as early as possible I have one question here yes sir uh when is Mother's Day is
that the 10th of May it may be I'm not sure but nonetheless do you know when Prime senior Prime is uh the high school once we once the calendar is approved the high school um and they may have already chosen um what day that is we don't normally put that on the school calendar that'll go on the high school calendar um the day that we do put on here or will add to this is the graduation date okay um if all possible I because there were some issues in the past with seniors having their senior prom on that Saturday before Mother's Day and usually on that Sunday the next day they go out and go to Great America the seniors do and they cannot enjoy the Mother's Day celebration so that was brought to the
board several times in the past so if that can be looked at if you can't help it if you talk to the principal or something see when that is if if you can't help it that's you know nothing we can do I will put in this week's FYI if it's already been reserved and my guess is that it probably has been reserved because they've had they've had to make the booking and put the deposit on it um but I will ask them in the future to always make that consideration for our mothers and it it it really depends on the venue yeah and what they have and how much it cost and from a cost standpoint but um I know that people generally try to have it around just from being a charge of that
before you try to have it around mother so it won't be on it but if you can't don't have a good place or location or then you just kind of but I mean you said if all possible so if all possible yeah absolutely and again I'm sure it depends on how far out in advance we book it and what's available okay excellent okay any more questions thank you Dr Perkins thank you all right I like a motion to close the public he any public comment that's that's coming up no no for this this there is oh I see oh sorry yes that's okay and then Dr Perkins you may have might be able to respond to this okay our public comments is going to be read by our magnificent cuz I love reading right Dr
okay Dr C so this um letter came in today from Mary oler she's one of our parents and staff members here says Dear d uh dear uh caragan and cm201u board members I'm writing this letter today in regards to the proposed calendar for the 2526 school year I question how much time my kids are actually in school for a full week versus early dismissal days that have continued to increase over the years after looking back at Old agendas I have found these numbers while looking at Old draft calendars of the creep mon school district for example in 1819 we had 14 early dismissal days 2122 we had on three 16 13 days but then amended the calendar on 1012 21 to add an additional days when we brought up 29 early dismissal days in the
0242223 school year we had 18 23 24 16 the school current calendar we have 18 early dismissal days in the upcoming school year on the proposed calendar for the 25 26 school year and we are looking at 23 early dismissal days when I look at the proposed calendar tonight's agenda I couldn't help but notice my children will only have eight full weeks of school Yes you heard that right eight weeks 40 days out of the 180 school days that are straight School weeks with no interruptions of a national school holiday or early release day this year we will have 14 full weeks of school I guess my concerns are that we are adding more early dismissal days for the 25 26 school calendar and having a decrease in full weeks of school also there is
a reason also is there a reason why in the 2223 school year we stopped having Creet money School District 2011 U District all start on the same day thank you okay I think there was a couple questions in there if you could address those yes and and I certainly will um address um how we send it out to that specific person on answering all of those questions I think post pandemic we did make some adjustments to to the calendar um we are certainly looking at adding um those targeted support uh that are needed for our students that we saw coming out of the pandemic and again listening to um the needs of our staff and giving uh deep opportunities for again our entire staff to receive uh the training that is needed uh to make
the shifts that we need to academically and also I I know that one of the things that we've heard um from our field of teachers is that our students um need a lot more social emotional support and we're working with all of our teams in order to develop those rigorous training opportunities thank you okay thank you thank you Dr Perkin again thank you Dr kise as well saving my headlights I can see another day all right now can I have a motion to close public hearing on the 2025 2026 school calendar moved second move by Bill second by Dr Hall any comments questions if not roll call please Mr Albert I Mr gagos say an i Mr swales hi Miss zit um I miss wol Fork I Dr Hall I and president Brown I motion

really well planned and well uh attended uh I also attended the high school's um elective night where um students um kind of sell the electives that they're interested in to other students and uh I talked to a lot of students that are very passionate about the classes that they're in the teachers that they have um the groups that they're a part of and it was a really uh eye-opening uh experience it was it was a really good conversations with uh the students and and some teachers that were there um what else I think that's it that was a busy night yeah hallways were backed I I stopped in on that for a little bit yeah I got I got there just at the at the tail end uh so they had a little bit more
time to uh uh talk uh and sell me on uh on some classes uh I want to take some of these classes though so so let's see if we can get that just kidding parent University yeah right um I actually had someone reach out to me on January 10th there was a safety Symposium somewhere can can you maybe help me out with that and one of the members of our district presented there all right um Jason maybe you can help me out with this I think this would ouring pause actually that uh I let Brian Johnson speak to that he was in attendance with Russell okay oh Russell okay excuse me well that's okay I just wanted to give kudos because I was contacted because they saw photos when you put up the the thing
at the end and they're like oh that's you guys and there was M thunderous Applause for the work you guys are doing and they're very excited about that yeah it was a it was a great event thank you yeah Will County just so you know it was Will County volunteer management Emergency Management that truly loved what you folks were doing okay that's it thank you yeah yeah very good W any other um good stuff good stuff for lack of a better phrase um good yeah I think I'm just talking little soft here but Dr cogy and I was reading what she about the event if every any board member can make it out so I'm glad Dr Hall and and Alex made that out to that Wellness event and Jamie did Jamie made it I
did J Jamie okay Jamie thank you thank you I was that close to making it I told I told uh Dr car I was on the phone I said okay I left my doctor's appointment I'll be there in a little bit unfortunately unfortunately I went to another Wellness Vineyard that was urgent care for me so I wish I could have made it to the wellness event so I did have an episode so keep me keep me in your prayers um things is is seem to be coming along in the right direction for me but I heard that was a good event I did read the release immediate press release that was in our FYI so good good that was good things and you did get interviewed I saw your comments in there very good keep
it going and the safe Symposium keep that going as well Dr Dr M over there with the safety you was in charge of that the safety andos who was that they attended that office event okay so that was good so keep it up we always got good news and good board up days so thank you board members for participating and and thank you for all you do appreciate it I I wanted to do one more thing um that they had sweet bites um I think it was was it December that they had the coffee with a cop we went out I went out to that and J as well went out today it was really nice um Creek Police Department was there they had the I think they had the K9 and they had a
couple of uh officials uh dignitaries there um the sweet bites they did coffee with a cop and that was really nice it was it was nice to get to talk to some of the the police officers and the Chiefs and um some of the local Creed off isales and yeah it was really nice coffee with a cof are you sure you just drink coffee right that's all I didn't even drink coffee I don't drink coffee uh just your participation great I did have a donut okay one or two huh or two or two oh thank you that's that's really good reaching out being involved with the community and you can't say can't say anything more than our board members are out there participating so I really appreciate that great okay administrative updates all right I
have I was going to share the uh the wellness day but I think we've covered that adequately the other thing I wanted to point out on each of your desks I want you to take a look at this now this is what I was telling you about I meet with the creit group it's a PR group and all the tax body folks come together and we've been sharing ways to articulate kind of an intergovernmental connection with our community so we've ended up coming up with this this was the uh intergovernmental agreement that we signed a couple couple months ago or whatever but I wanted to show you this came out in the mail for those of you that live in the area this should have been in your mailbox so I just wanted you to
make sure if you do not did not receive this that you just kind of take a look and uh scan through it um this is an opportunity to really start showing how all of the entities are actually working together and doing really good things for our residents so um anyway I just wanted to highlight I believe we're going to be doing this uh I think three to four times a year I'll be meeting with them again on Friday and we'll be uh starting to talk about our next next uh activities so just wanted to reference that and uh speaking of um we are set to have our District's annual safety Symposium in February uh 4th coming up we did this last year for the first time and we had an overwhelming response by those that
uh are administrators uh safety security in other districts coming to hear what we are doing so we have about oh probably eight to 10 presentations and they're all being done by our staff uh healing pause will be there and if any of you can come I really would encourage you to come at least stop by I'll give you a reminder again um Lori um Mueller is with the Donovan group I've asked her to even come and do a little piece too on how to communicate with crises as well so anyway we're really looking forward to that um we've already been sending out information to save the date and we've got about 25 coming in already so we're excited about that so I will go on to the next one which is the Press 117 um
if you've seen in your board packet as usual we've got some updates again the these are all kind of cursory updates not much uh substantive there's 22 of them you know obviously feel free to just kind of Grease through them so you can see which ones we're reviewing again but again um we really appreciate the Press plus because it keeps our district On Target everything's up to date in our press policy and just so you know that when we are done with the board adopts them we put them on a doc you signed and then we send these out to our administrators so they sign off that they've read all of these as well and that's a compliance issue so we're doing that as well what's the difference between the red highlight and the green
highlight in the some um I I can answer that yeah yeah so so the red is what we've what they're taking out of the policy and then the green is what is going into the policy okay yeah red is AD green is delete basically M so anyway so you'll see that next um month next week excuse me for your approval and that's all I've got today thank you Dr cogman any questions on I have a question um was the staff did they do like an evaluation after the wellness day did and maybe next week will'll be hear some of the feedback yes they did send something out and yes we'll get some feedback on that because we want to really talk a little bit more about it and I think how it aligns with our
district vision and our strategic plan wasn't just a fun day it had purpose so yeah no it did that's why I tried to say it was great good question I would love to have something like this for all communities I know mon just put out their paper their newsletter something like that and they have a lot of things in that to partnership with them just's look for the opportunity if you can Partners I do I was invited to participate so this wasn't anything ice bear headed and um Katrina seir um who is a um trustee on this is great this is great help heads the yeah that's great so yeah without additional stress if you could you know maybe look into that I know again I don't know what park for sent out and I'm
not sure what University Parks I know mon sends out a nice letter I don't know if that's quarterly bill is that quarterly what's that the newsletter yeah it's Cory really nice and all right know you can get in when can fit in something like that without adding undue stress to you thank you yeah this is this is really good good and thank you Dr Cog for all you do all righty so do we have any open um let me see here oh that's under you doc yeah yeah that's to you absolutely I'll uh bring up uh Miss Carmen Thompson who's our supervisor of PBIS to go over the district discipline Improvement plan uh this is just something that we have to do annually since we are identified by ISB um it is for discussion this
uh today tonight and then we'll be brought to your approval um as we have to have it submitted to isby before the end of the month no it's just that's why we've got mple you thank you all for the opportunity to to present tonight um tonight I'll be sharing the district's discipline Improvement plan which serves as an important framework for addressing student behavior and fostering positive Equitable outcomes across the district um this is just a briefing to to Prelude to the district's discipline presentation which will be shared in details during the February board meeting um so the beginning part is the overview of what we started last year um we wanted to focus on rebuilding the district discipline Improvement team identifying new seal curriculums for grades 6 through 12 and establishing a tier 2 um
ppis Team for the high school and I'm pleased to share that we successfully accomplished our goals um with these foundational elements now in place we have developed a new plan to guide to our next stage of improvement tonight's presentation will provide an overview of the plan and how it built our previous work and further enhances our discipline practices so first we're going to focus on training as we move forward our Focus remains on fostering Equitable and inclusive practices across the district to support this we'll Implement yearly training on cultural awareness and implicit bias to build capacity upon the staff in in addition all administrators will participate in restorative practice training following this administrators will collaborate with their teams to review and implements restorative practices promoting promoting a restorative approach to discipline and relationship building schoolwide
this is not the only training we're planning we also aim to provide deescalation training for staff and explore additional training needs and to ensure that we're equipping everyone to deal and effectively support our students and maintain a positive School culture the next part is teaming as we continue to enhance our efforts to support positive behavior and Equitable discipline practices we're exploring developing a district PBIS team this team would collaborate with the district's discipline Improvement team to analyze data and recommend targeted interventions that address identifying needs effectively additionally our PBIS coaches are partnering to share successful strategies and explore Innovative interventions that can enhance their practices and outcomes this collaboration approach will help ensure a consistency and the sharing of best practices across all schools these initiatives are part of our commitment to create a cohesive
and datadriven approach to supporting our students and fostering a positive School climate next is our data I will begin joining admin ministrative meetings on a quarterly basis after our district discipline Improvement team meetings these meetings will provide an opportunity to dis to discuss the updates review the data and make recommendations to guide our Collective efforts additionally administrators will play a key role in facilitating ongoing discussions within their buildings about discipline practices thanks thanks these discussions will ensure alignment with District goals and addressing the unique needs of each school last but not least is systems as a part of our ongoing commitment to equity and accountability our district discipline Improvement team will continue to review the data to ensure that all disciplinary actions are free of discrimination based on color nationality gender race disability or any
other protective statuses this review pract process is essential to fostering Fair Ness and inclusivity in our practices furthermore we are prioritizing consistency and accuracy in our Skyward data entry by developing standardized um procedures these measures will help us maintain reliable data which is critical for informing decision-making and developing effective interventions so that's our plan moving forward and next month I'll share with you all of the data for the last couple of years for our district any question questions awesome thank you thank you for that report that was awesome I just want to just ask the question I know the discipline committee I I know there were some conflicts with for uh Nelson participated in that committee Jamie you was involv with that I've been resp via email and getting up on everything the meetings do
fall at times where it's hard for me to make but I get everything and the communication from the team is phenomenal okay great if there's any board can I ask the question any board member would like to if Jamie cannot participate in the discipline committee is there one that would what day and time what day time I don't know just to help just Wednesday around: at okay you don't have the answer now just send me an email if you can just you know fall back and just be back pocket for for Jamie okay appreciate thank you Jen appreciate it's my pleasure thank you so much you have any old business uh yeah I I had an uh a question um do you guys remember when we were talking about uh changing the names of the
school yeah and we we wanted to get like feedback from uh the staff and the students from those schools did we ever get anything back uh I don't think so and I'm glad you brought that up if you don't mind did you have any more than than that um I I talked to Dr K about this a couple weeks ago and I would definitely like to move [Music] forward because I think if we try to solicit names at this point it's going to take a while but we can go back and revisit that but in the interim that I would just like to get Park force in one of the schools in Moni to just add the word I don't know like Park Forest Park Forest to their name to tala tala Park Forest Elementary
School and either kedit Scott King University Park Scott King Elementary School or the Middle School Moy Middle School uh University Park Moy Middle School for the time being leaving everything else the same so that was that was the thing I was thinking about because I think if we if we go out and try to solicit I think it's just going to be it's going to be a task to say the least to do that and get the public to try to name the schools so I think my whole thing was about having every municipality with their schools having a piece of the pie to have the to have the privilege I say the priv the honor to have cre Moni or Monique cre Moni or their name I'm sorry their name their name of the
village Encompass in the name of the school so I don't know how the board feel about that at this point so we're just talking about two schools Park Forest either uh tala naming tala Park Forest tala maybe Elementary and Bo school being Keda Sky King uh University Park Keda Sky King Elementary or the Middle School University Park School I agree with the with the elementaries yeah for sure especially I think it's simple tala and I definitely agree with kot King changing that or adding that for sure the middle school is kind of like the high school we're trying to keep that seamless going from one to the next we're kind of building that brand now athletic wise I think right Dr Hall are building that as one so that they go from one to the
other but I definitely think as I think you and I talked before CSK can should be it should be definitely part of university park and tala should probably be part of Park Forest right cuz Moy has M Moy element Creed has two elementaries one says Creed Elementary um I don't think he change B moral because you already have a Creed Elementary but and that's not in a technically in a village per se borrow yeah but I think the other two definitely warrant something of being there yeah I just want to kind of keep it simple keep it simple and with the with the middle school and the high school you know Creek mon are the townships that we serve that's correct you know and we it's not to be a slight to any Village sure
because they are all part of either cre or Moy Township right now now I was say this um or ask this question that there's in every Township there is a plot of land designated just for a school typically it's a high school is that the high school or the middle school because if it's the high school then I could see keeping creep mon um High School I I'm okay with changing the middle school if but I I don't NE I per I mean I go whatever we vote for but I don't personally like going ketta Scott Kane University Park like that just no and I think I think you're right I think the wording has to be right to make the change yes we Mr uh Brown and I talked about that one time the
wording has to be right otherwise you don't change it toala I just say change it to park Force something of that it just has to fit right who is the name I'm I'm I'm sorry for my ignorance I think it's honoring is that a person the street it's the street is on I mean ketta Scott King has some like I don't know if we rename well that's why you don't change kis Scott King you you just Implement you have to compliment it somehow University Park we have to compliment it some that's perfect and I just wanted to make sure Halala wasn't like honoring someone and then we're like no cuz credit Scott King is there for a purpose so you don't want to change that but you do want to you do want to add
I just want to add value that much more value and I understand Township because the township mon Creek Township Mony Township and those townships was there before the village and University Park was there right right so and remember the elementaries are little sections right right where the the junior high and the high school bringing everybody together so that's why I think when we're trying to take those two individual entities and we're not making them one but we're really trying to get them to streamline so the kids whether they're in junior high or they're in high school they're really trying to be together right I mean we're trying to create that and and I you know again getting input from the public but to just kind of do the Simplicity of naming the two schools I
I I think from the board level that's that's in our policy that the board can do that so and again not trying to leave the public out I think maybe the next strategic plan the whole naming of all the schools if that needs to be the case that can be brought up at that point that's not for another five years I know it can be some that's just throwing it up you know not trying to Sol it right now like I said I think the park for one's pretty simple King you definitely have to choose the words right carefully it' be almost like a subtitle on the letter head cuz you might say of University part correct you want to include that but you don't want to take anything away from the name that could
be doubt something simple like I said I don't want things complicated at this time but my whole thing again was to uh just show Unity that's what we're about create 2011 you unity and every opportunity we could take advantage of it and I saw naming those two schools uh of part just being Unity I I'm all for it so yeah in my opinion moving forward I'm I'm yeah this so then do I have the direction of the board then to start the um proceedings to start figuring out it wouldn't be till next year because we have to change it with the entity with the state and things like that I'll start talking to the building principles and letting them know that this would be coming nothing here take is quick so yeah I would probably
start the ball rolling okay so I've got Elementary School and CIS Scott King un okay that makes sense to me thank you wow everybody's okay with look at that wow amazing man do it makes sense Happy New Year I wish the the rest of the year start off like this I'm good 2026 I started off well well I just got healed I just want let you guys know I I just gotal y thanks Alex for bringing this up I definitely was on my radar any other o business I got I got one go ahead um and and this is very old business I mean I mean very very old tell me something were you on the board at the time huh were you on the board no it's so was I on the board I
