charge. Without further ado, I will turn things over to Mrs. D. Marcelo, who will introduce our student wax figurines. Good evening. Thank you for having my fourth grade gifted and talented students here tonight to present their living wax museum project. These exceptional students have worked very hard on this project and I'm glad they get to showcase their efforts tonight. This was the culminating project for our self-exloration unit called what is an achiever where students learned about the characteristics that promote and hinder achievement and how to bring out the achiever in themselves. For the Living Wax Museum project, students chose a person in history or in present day who they believe was or is an achiever and they prepared a monologue presentation telling about this person's life from the challenges that they face to the accolades
they've accomplished. Today we have Dominic Cruz, Sabrina Gonzalez, Jazelle Ber, Christopher Miller, and Bryce Vito presenting their living wax museum project. Pull it down. >> How about How about if I hold it and you can >> We do have this stool. I just always get nervous. >> No, no. >> Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be in the World >> Cup? I have 957 goals and
I played in 1,298 soccer matches. I impact the world so much that I inspire little kids like you to play soccer and to never give up. I hope you listen to me, Cristiano. So yes, that's my lecture and never say never. do some fancy. >> Have you ever wondered how it would feel to be up on stage while everyone is watching? Well, I love it. I'm Sabrina Carpenter and I'm a famous artist and singer. Singing isn't how it really started. There's more to that. I was born on May 11th, 1999 in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. I had an early talent of singing and dancing. I was homeschooled and I posted videos to support my dad making my studio. I finished third in Miley Cyrus's online singing contest in 2009. My fame really started where I got the
lead role in Girl Meets the World as Maya Heart. I've won multiple awards such as a Grammy for my best pop vocals and another Grammy for the best pop solos. I've also got a Radio Disney award for the best crush song in 2015. I think I will I will definitely be known for my pop music titles and my lyrics to my songs. I also have been on Disney, so people might remember that. Many people know me for just my music, but I am way more than just being up on stage. I have awards, Disney titles, and many more things. Have you ever wondered how to do a double twisting double back flip this off the balance beam? I have. I'm And my name is Simone Fox. I'm a gymnast. I'm 28 years old and I'm
also 4'8. I was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1997. I started gymnastics when I was six. Even though I was born in Columbus, I was raised in Spring, Texas. In 2013, I became the first black woman to win a world allaround title. In total, I have 30 medals, 23 goals. I have many skills named after me. I hold records for the for the most world medals by any gymnast. I constantly push the sports boundaries, including landing one of the hardest tricks. So whenever you watch a baseball game and the Yankees win, remember the challenges you conquered. >> So I do want to thank the students for
their participation tonight. And I thought what was most impressive was they put on the living wax museum for the second graders. the second graders got to come into the art room and move around as units to visit with each wax figurine and they were able to answer questions on demand which really told us that they really had put a lot of research and time into their character. So, I want to applaud him and thank everybody. >> Thank you. You did a great job. Thank you. Great job. You did a great job. You did a great job. Best day ever. Great show, right? >> Oh, yeah.
