005Jr he had 327 votes that came in a hundred percent for district 2 Maurice Beau Brown he had 657 votes with 98 percent and he there were 11 write-ins at one percent for district four we have Janine Galbraith she had 186 votes at and 47.9 percent and we had Alejandro Alex Gallegos I said it right uh 202 votes and 52 percent and for District Five we had Jamie zeit stumbers and she had 279 votes and that was 100 of the votes I'm looking should we have the oath of office before we elect the pro President Pro Temp yeah okay okay so this is the proper order yeah okay okay so and then do we need a roll call vote on that or just get a motion and voice approval okay can I uh get a

011that in front of them I'll read them first and then we'll get a motion um this was we created this two years ago and I think it worked well and we can adopt it for this meeting the purposes of this meeting nominations each board member May nominate one person for each office upon being nominated the nominee will be given the opportunity to accept or decline the nomination voting there's only one nominee for an office the vote will proceed with an up or down vote a or nay if there are two or more nominees for an office each board member will vote by stating the nominee's name election procedures there's only one nominee the nominee must receive a majority of the members voting abstentions do not count as a vote if there are two or more

013I think it's good for this board to elect new officers to provide continuity for the board to sustain itself over time I've had a long discussion with Mr Brown I feel he's committed to working to bring all four of our communities together in this role and we've talked a lot about um leadership and what it means to be board president and um you know oftentimes that means being a listener and kind of summarizing what you hear the other board members saying and sometimes keep reserving your own opinions or your own ideas for the betterment of the board and finally there will be times when you come down to the deciding vote and I would just hope that Mr Brown when he's in that situation votes first and foremost with what's in the best interest of
