Uh our student rep is not here tonight. Uh I just want to thank

004the community for the food drive. It was a huge success. uh the amount of food that we brought in. Uh we were able to fill up one of the career technical rooms with at least eight to nine tables of uh food for our families. We've had a steady flow of families coming since Wednesday picking up food. Uh we still have some more to give out this week. Whatever's left on Friday, we will send to the food pantry. But uh it was really a great job. It was amazing how much food that everyone gave. So kudos to everyone. Bixby gym is officially open. Uh it was a long two months for Miss Ortiz and her staff, but they did a great job of getting through it. And now we have our auditorium and our lunchroom back.

005So that is great for those students and just in time for the colder months. Uh the auditorium in the high school is days away from completion. They're just working on some technical things, but we will have our fall drama there uh in this newly renovated space. It is very nice. It will be a great space for future plays. Definitely movie nights. It's it has a movie theater vibe. Uh it's very relaxing and soothing. So that'll be opened uh within the next week or two. But definitely for our play which will be Peter Pan on 125 and 126. So uh that will be exciting. Also we will begin the media center in the next couple of weeks with a completion date in April. Uh so that will be the big projects in our referendum that will

006be done and all the spaces are doing well and thriving and everyone has been very positive. The uh culinary is cooking now. They were making muffins and scones and the kids are loving it. More and more kids are seeing the buildings and they're excited about it uh that they want to take classes there in the future. So very exciting stuff. Lastly, I do have an addendum to walk in. we were able to find a leave replacement for paternity leave starting in December. So, I did have to walk that in because it took me a couple of days to uh negotiate and get that uh settled finally. So, uh there will be an addendum tonight.
