Okay. Good evening. I'd like to call this meeting to order. >> This is a regular session of the township board of education held for the purpose of projecting appropriate board business in compliance with chapter 231 laws of 1975. The notice of this meeting was advertised in the Mars County daily record. Copies of the agenda of this meeting were appropriately posted and made available to the public. >> Mrs. Barta >> here. >> Mr. Brander here. Mrs. Cabana >> here. >> Mr. Chen here. >> Mrs. Hermy >> here. Mr. Johnson >> here. >> Mrs. Mcry >> here. >> Mr. Mills >> here. >> Mr. Nikki >> here. >> Also present. Mr. Pini, superintendent principal. And I see our brand new student representative, Sugina Brandner. You have a quorum. >> Thank you. And please stand for the pledge

of >> allegiance to the flag of the United States of America to the stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> Thank you all for coming tonight. First thing we have on our agenda is recognizing our the group one Morris County girls soccer championship. [applause] Pass, Mr. Well, once again, congratulations to our girls soccer team for winning the Morris County Championships. [applause and cheering] Little fact here, maybe it's a it's a known fact. The last time RBS won the banner was eight years ago and it's very very welcome here. Once again, um there's a whole bunch written up in our agenda on the last page, but I want to save that until the end and I'm going to pass it over to Coach Gaffne to say a few words. Right.

Um I'm Coach Daffy and this is Coach Cotto. We had a remarkable season of uh you know spending time with first girls throughout the soccer season. We start about you know the first week of September and we finish at the end of October. And I had to write something because I didn't want to get nervous and be like dear student what I wanted to say. So having it down on paper helps me. You couldn't be more proud of this team. You are a remarkable, remarkable group of girls, hardworking, talented, and determined athletes, making you stronger and more confident with every practice and every game. Mrs. Toto and I truly enjoyed working with you each day. Your commitment, your enthusiasm, and the way you supported one another made the season something special. The last battle won

by girls soccer was 2017, eight years ago. Winning a badger is no easy task, but this year we witnessed so much growth, so much heart, and so much belief in you. Not only did you make it to the final, but you defeated a team that had beaten us twice during the season. We always knew you had it in you, and you proved it when we mattered when it mattered most. You won because you put everything together in our final game, marking up, being first to the ball, forming triangles, communicating, and playing uh for each other and with me. Your hard work and discipline, your passion for the sport, elevated your play to a championship level. And truly, we cannot think of a team that deserved first place more than this one. I came back to

coach soccer when our eighth graders were just sixth graders. So, I've had the eighth grade group for three years. For the past two seasons, we chased the banner with everything we had, and both times fell just short. This year, with this incredibly athletic and determined group of eighth graders leading the way, we finally reached our goal. You helped lead this team to victory and all of you should be very proud of what you've accomplished. I hope you will always remember the excitement we felt when that final whisper blew and that you think back on girls soccer 2025 with pride, joy, and a true sense of accomplishment. Congratulations girls on an amazing season season and a well- earned victory. Let's keep the celebration going with our banner hangings ceremony which will schedule as soon as the

banner arrives. >> [applause] >> INTRODUCING UM the team because they deserve to be recognized. Our 2025 girls soccer county championships for group one championship team includes sixth grader Lea Barnes. Just raise your hand. [applause] Ali Par 15 and our seventh grade group Eva Catch [applause] President Now, [applause] please our eighth years, our goal, I think, is for the three years that you're on the team for at least one of those years you have to. So, >> um Ann Bush >> [applause] >> Luke Generary. [applause] So, in the final game, we actually we played um uh Lincoln Park uh that we had beaten during season well in the in the um the semi the the game before the semi-final. So, in the uh first round of the tournament, we played Lincoln Park. We beat them 6

nothing. We played at such a high level against um like what we call the mystery team. Every year it seems like we face a team that we've never seen before that we didn't see during the season that just nobody knows anything about. [clears throat] Um I went and scouted them and we found that number 10 who actually had a cast on. she was, you know, really roughousing our girls. But, um, we found them to be really, really competitive and we knew it was going to be a tough game. And these girls rose to the high level of play that they they knew that they could have and played one of their best games. And after that game, we just knew they were going to win. and said if they play that strong this is at

this battle and they they proved that in the game against um against um I'm sorry forest planes in the final um and we had lost to them uh one- nothing and two to one during the season. So we knew we could beat them. it just we just had to put it all together and achieve that level of play that we achieved when we were playing um in the semmit in the uh first round. So this video this is really funny um the game went the game was uh Luchi scored for us and then they scored. So we had um it was one to one in the regular game in the two 30 minute periods. Then we had two fiveminute overtimes nobody scored. Then we went to the penalty kits and if you can only imagine

it was like I was like a rabbit and I think you were too where my heart was just and these girls were so calm and they they really handled things well. >> We practiced this every single practice I think two weeks. >> We were like we're going to penalty keeps everybody's going to penalty. So we practiced um you know every practice and you know the line was kind of not we were a little off with the line but in it was like we were back here one practice back over there but they could put it anywhere really. They were they really got good at this and so our it was um three to three. Annie made a great save. Um and we kicked second. So, I remember the girls all had their arms around each

other and I remember Caitlyn Seminario saying, "No pressure, but if Luchi makes this, we win." >> So, anyway, this is the video about [clears throat] >> [applause] >> Did we win? >> And then the team runs out. [laughter] >> It was a really exciting moment for us. was crying and huffing and it was just >> and he was so happy. I'll never FORGET [applause] it was it was really um I'm really proud to be here tonight. Both of us are really proud. Um, we can't say enough about the fun we had with this group and the amount of improvements that you made and um, how sad I'm going to be with the eighth grade. So, um, but anyway, thank you so much for recognizing us tonight and um, we're we're getting the banner. It's not

yet and we're going to do another special ceremony for that. You don't want this to ever forget this. We're going to celebrate all of you. So, thank you very much. >> Thank you. THANK YOU. [applause] WE LIKE TO THANK OUR coaches and [applause] we also like to thank the girls for all their hard work. I'm really proud of you. Thank you very much. [applause] A lot of you know this many teachers whether they're coaches or not or whe they're involved in athletics or not, they show up to the games. I really want to thank the teacher. support is really fantastic and it was a very emotional event. I think I was in the background behind the prize as well. [laughter] >> No, it was it's very very exciting. So, thank you very much for all

your hard work. Um, real quick, what we'd like to do is get a quick picture with all the me board members facing that way, staying in your seats, and we'll get all the girls over here with the coaches in the background. So just >> anyone mind? >> Oh everything. >> I am snuggling it with every knife. >> I trust you. All right. Winners. >> Winner. Winner winner. >> [applause] >> Oh, uh, if someone would like to take a picture of the cake, actually. >> Oh, wow. >> They'll pick it up. They'll pick it up. [laughter] the kid. >> Yeah, I got that. >> [laughter] >> girls over there. We need more. Let me see. See? Hey, it is it is 8:00 p.m. We are uh completed our our short recess and welcome back. And at

this time, I'd like to introduce our new representative from Mountain Place, our student representative, Regina Breaker. Welcome. Hi. Um um in the recent weeks, uh fall sports have um ended and unfortunately no state titles unlike um the girls soccer team. Um but um football and both our girls soccer team made it to the semi-finals during the state tournament. Um volleyball and field hockey um ended in the quarterfinals and boys soccer ended in the first round. Um with market period 2 starting, winter sports are back in action. And both basketball and swim have already begun their winter season. Uh clubs like that, our business club and key club are gearing up for the holiday season and with um both a toy and food drive to give back to the community. Banding choir are also getting into

the holiday spirit with um their concerts coming up. Band has their concert on December 11th and choir on the 16th. Early December also is um getting the incoming freshman class of 2030 ready for their futures at MHS with the eighth grade open house. >> Oh, thank you very much. Thank Thank you. Great great great first report [laughter] and and as we offer to all of our student representatives, if you have someplace you need to go like studying for tests or whatever, we will not be offended if you leave. If you want to stay, you're welcome to. But we always make that offer. We will not be offended if you have to go. >> Yeah. >> Thank you. Don't forget your cake. >> Thank you. >> Now I know that I have things to attend. >>

Dance concert. >> Are you going to walk? Are you going to walk home? >> Maybe. [laughter] >> Wait. Maybe she won't. [laughter] It's a long walk. I'll be right back. I'll bring her home. >> Mom's outside waiting. [laughter] >> And that brings us to board business motion one through three. May I have a motion, please? >> Is there a second? >> Second. >> Any questions, comments, or discussion? If not, questions on the adoption of board. This is motions one through three. All those in favor say I. I. Post say no. Any abstensions? I >> use Thank you. That brings us to close session. May I have a motion to enter into executive session to discuss issues of war confidentiality as permitted in the open public meetings act chapter 231 laws of the laws of 1975.

These matters may or may not be made public when the board reconvenes. They will be made public when the confidential the subject is no longer warranted. The topic for discussion is school security. And may I have a motion, please? >> Second. Is there a >> second? All those in favor say I. I. Thank you. Um, let me try one >> for our member of the five minutes. >> Okay. Thank you. Okay. It is 8:26 p.m. We returned from our close session. At this time, we have our administrator report starting with the business administrator board secretary's work, Mr. Murray. >> Thank you, Mr. Brander. Okay. Um, at the time of the printing of my report, the the election results were unofficial. They have made them official. However, they never uh list all of the rated in

stuff. What I'm going to record on is you had voter turnout uh which was pretty good for the the township 64%. Mr. Brandner had 1195 votes. There were a number of right in candidates uh Mr. Paul Rosenberg had 112 votes. Francis Hittinger had 108 votes and there were approximately 318 votes cast for other writing various writing candidates. But again, they're not listed. they're not tallied in in the results. So, they'll certify the results and they basically say that these are the candidates, no other information. Um, and then there were the high the next highest vote getter was probably about 50 votes. So, both candidates were contacted by the Mars County Clerk's Office and have accepted positions. All three board members will be sworn in at the January 7th reorganization meeting. of fall reports which I

reported at a previous meeting. The DRTS, the district report of transport reported resident students was filed by the November 14th deadline and that's used to calculate this the district's transportation aid and the deadline to file the ASSA which is the application for state school aid. That's the enrollment. They're both the October 15th snapshot. Uh that's due December 17th and I anticipate that will be filed early as well. Facility committee met um I'll let Mr. Fitini and Mr. McBride elaborate more but we met on November 17th with the district's architect to review geotechnical engineering proposals to perform preliminary testing for the pre-referendum due diligence. A resolution to approve a professional services contract will be included on the December 17th uh agenda. Additional information will be reported tonight by the facilities committee report and then the preliminary

budget continues to be worked on meeting with staff, administration and so forth. The uh teachers and staff submit their budgets to me by December 19th before the break. And that's all I have to report. >> Great. Thank you. And that brings us to the superintendent's report. Mr. Patini, [clears throat] >> thank you very much. Uh on November 4th, we all know that the district is closed in conjunction with election day. even though we don't have election polls here, Mount Lakes does, but we used it as a time to capitalize on the PD time. So, we came together in ed camp style of professional development day where uh the sessions were led by teachers. It was a wonderful event. I'd also like to thank the HSA and our um our teachers union for uh offsetting the

cost to the coffee truck that was there. Uh Dr. Steagle and his administrative team and their uh teachers union also chipped in to offset the cost. It was a wonderful day and all the teachers came back with excitement and enthusiasm about the next steps that we take in terms of articulation with curriculum. >> If I could just say something on that mountain lakes meeting they said one [clears throat] of the best PD days they've ever had. So give >> I got the same feedback from someone at Mountain Lakes. >> Great. That's awesome. Um I ran a session Dr. single ran a session [clears throat] ran a session bunch of teacher ran a session it was absolutely incredible it was great if you've never been involved in a net camp piece it's a choice based type

of professional development and it was outstanding um but thanks for the feedback >> um [clears throat] oh some parents have asked about how their child receives support so we put on the website I think it was a while ago we put that up there but I made sure that there was something uh changed and added to it so that parents know where support services come from and how you get those support services, namely the response to intervention or the RTI model and special education. So, if you want to take a look on our website, it's pretty much front and center. Uh Mrs. Mort and our data team have been reviewing all the data we have from multiple assessments and different types of assessments to pinpoint areas that students are in need. We're directing uh teachers

for instruction and to do small groups. So, we're analyzing the uh the assessments to identify specific content areas and those skills so that teachers can have targeted instruction for those individual students that need it. Um, in theory, people think that this is a great idea, but when you actually look at the data and actually shows you some of these pieces, it really affirms what you're trying to do in terms of small group instruction, being in class support model, and things of that nature. Uh several of our teachers will be receiving Orin Gill Orin Gillingham training which is OG training which is a multi-ensor teaching reading which is decoding and writing which is encoding. We're also going I talked about having uh township kind of be like a lighthouse district. So we're sponsoring this training. We're

inviting other districts. I've sent out messages to other superintendents. [clears throat] We're gonna have those people sign up for OG training and then they're going to have the training right here as a whole cohort with some of our teachers that's going to start in January. We've talked about OG training in the past but now we had our teachers trained last year. Now we're moving it up a little bit having the cohort and also thanks to a teacher who's al um not teacher sorry a parent who is also an OG trainer. She's helping us out with that as well. Uh, oh, we had no the November Veterans Day concert. I think this is one of my favorite events. It's unbelievable. All the parents, all the veterans coming in, giving presentations in the classroom, children singing. It

was absolutely incredible. So, I'd like to say thank you to Mr. Bartell. She does such a great job with this organization, the execution of the plan, decorations. Thanks to Mrs. Plus also, but I I was here late at night, usually am, and I see her outside planting flags along the along the lawn and everything like that. She's just she's next level. She's more of the exception than the rule as far as educators are concerned. Uh, and I also like to say congratulations to the kids for doing a wonderful job and not only in addition to them singing, them putting up all different types of posters and all their artwork for to honor our veterans. So, congratulations to them. Um, we just had parent teacher conferences. So, thanks to the teachers for the hard work and

preparing for that. And this is going back now just a few weeks or two, three weeks. It was Halloween. The kids had such a great time. We went outside for the parade. Everybody was really excited about it. And we also had the trunk or treat, which is a really wonderful community event. So, thanks to the HSA for sponsoring those things uh for the support. I've met with the Ed Foundation about all the other uh grants that they offer to our teachers and uh the four kids program. I love the enrichment program. It's coming to the end. So, I'd like to also thank the head foundation for helping those kids seek out some of the more particulars in terms of their their passion in life. Some of these um you know, robotics and things of that

nature that they may be involved in or golf. These are the some of the outlets our kids love to do and they come out they come in after they stay after school. Those activities are brought in. So it's an extension of the school day in my estimation and it can only happen with the help of the Ed Foundation. So thank you very much for helping our kids achieve those additional goals in their lives about what they have a passion for. And last and uh certainly not least, I am crafting a survey as we speak to get um some community members input for a possible referendum. I'm also forming and I have some people on this uh committee already an ad hoc committee to discuss the needs of the district and explore the possibilities of a

referendum. And that's it. >> Great. Thank you. Thank you very much. And that brings us to accommodations. Mr. Kini, >> nice to meet you again. There's a lot of them here. Um, congratulations to our RBS Falcons that were that were caught soaring for the month of October. Congratulations to our girls [clears throat] and boys soccer team, as we've uh celebrated before, as well as our cross country teams on fantastic season. Each team has shown incredible teamwork, determination, and school spirit. And thanks to our coaches, family, and fans for their continued support throughout the season. A few highlights, and there'll be some details obviously on the agenda I've mentioned before. A few highlights are for our cross country team. Our boys and girls cross country teams recently concluded their amazing cross country seasons. And in the Morris County great races, Tegan Bonitez, Charlie Bonitez, Lilian Dioro, and Johnny Ponty each earned a ribbon as a top 20 runner in their respective grade levels. Johnny finished

second overall out of all 847 runners who ran in the county race. Both teams competed valiantly in the team's races the following week. And the girls tremendous performance earned fourth place out of 11 teams. Their team average time average mile time of 7 minutes and 18 seconds is listen to this. RBS's fastest pace since 2018, much akin to our girls soccer getting um the banner this year. Uh let's move on to the boys soccer team. A couple highlights there. Again, more detailed in the agenda. Our boys soccer team went undefeated in the regular season and had 64 goals and won second place overall. And as we all celebrated before, the 2025 girls soccer team won the Morris County Championship. More details can be uh can be found in the board agenda. And that concludes my

report. >> Thank you. [clears throat] That just correspondence. if you have a chance to read. And that brings us to open session number one. There is no one in the audience. So I will not read the public statement and I see no one [clears throat] recognized. We'll move on to these on reports starting with the Netflix board of education. >> So we've had two meetings uh one [clears throat] in October, one in November uh since we last met. Uh there was a literacy update by Dr. Gravity Goldberg. um she talked a lot about um how um 23% of American adults identified as non-rators and how we can start through school to help break that chain. Um so it was it was a great session, very long session. There's a lot of notes on that. So

I'll I'll give you the highlights or I just I gave you the big highlights. Um we went through the HIP school self assessment. Um, we there was an update on from the Morrison County Prosecutor's Office discussing ebikes, which is a big deal at high school. I don't know if they're publicly seeing it here. Technically, everything over 28 miles per hour is considered illegal. Um, so they went through that update. Um, we had the board of ed retreat on October 9th, which we talked a little bit about at this meeting as well. We went through board governments and practices. Um and then that's that that was that meeting and then Monday's meeting uh they talked about the NJSLA scores. Overall their scores were very good. Um they had some notable achievements improvement and relatively relative stability

of levels four and five for grades three and eight. 90% ELA level four and grades six, seven and eight. Um, grade nine students performed well in reading, science, um, and technical subjects. Math, grades three through seven, they saw improvement in stability in levels four through five. So, grade three moved 8% into four or five, grade four moved 3% in four or five, and grade seven moved 10% in four or five, and they had 0% not meeting. So, they had they had very good scores overall. We also had Mr. Sles give an update on AP results. Those were also very good. Um, all but three AP exams were above the uh New Jersey global average. It's a global test, so they actually look at it globally across the globe. Um, I think the only three that

that struggled to meet the NJ uh average was calculus AB, French, and one other I actually forgot to write down those three. They had an 82% particip participation rate in AP exams, which is very high. It's up from 67% three years ago, which was their goal to get more participation in AP exam. >> Yeah. And that's it. The 82% are taking one and they take multiple. So the the number of exams far outpaces the number of students we have because some students may take three, four or five. Yeah. But 82% of the student body, they had only 67% >> three years ago. So that's been ticking up the last. >> Yep. Um they're looking to begin a new long range planning process. They're going to kick that off with the community in January 2027 and

they want completion of it by June 2027 because their five-year plan is coming to an end. So after this year, that's the last year of their plan and then looking into kicking one off in 2017. Um and then Dr. Riley gave an update on who's our business administrator on the turf field. Um they have some change orders coming through with some different pipes they didn't know were running into there. But overall I think uh progress has started and they expect it to be done sometime uh before the spring. >> That is it. >> Great. Thank you. And that brings us to the New Jersey School Boards Association. Um I was only going to say uh several words from the NJA convention. Maybe one or two of them could speak to what they did there. that.

>> Sure. So, I was there almost the whole time. Um, I'll start with only negative, which is we were shut out of a lot of workshops that we signed up for. Pretty traditional there. I I found the last time I went as well. But the two most meaningful workshops we went to, I did distribute to everybody on the Google Drive. And I have a hard copy of the referendum workshop we went to. And then I'm finishing a governance uh workshop that we did. I don't know that Chris did it with me, but it was all high level what you do to onboard new members of the board and criteria and handbook. So, I'm almost done with that document and I'll distribute that. So, those were my two favorites. I did some special ed ones, cultural

competencies. You and I, we tried to get into a bunch of supervisory type one like on how to run effective board meetings and change that. We got locked out. It was like super packed. >> Is it because there's just not enough seats? You only got like 10 or 15 minutes to run between sessions and I mean you have to like run to be there almost be there before the >> start and we like there was a bunch of people that wanted to get in too. >> It was great. We had a good opportunity to talk to the architects, meet other vendors, you know, gather polls on what other districts have done and were successful. So >> the notes and I apologize I didn't get to the notes yet, but the notes I'm sure we we

bolt a copious note on the referendum. That was the one. It was excellent. They had very good feedback and suggestions on reference. >> What town was that? Another example. >> That was Clinton Township, I believe. >> Clinton. >> No, no, no, no. Mercer County, Lawrence Township. >> Yes. Okay. >> Lawrence, >> Clinton is the one that did a whole governance presentation and I'm going to post that and just edit it to our town. But this is what I emailed you guys this week. They did a massive work down >> and they just did a lot of grassroots. Everybody was involved. It was it was wellrun. You can see it. Well, people in the audience were impressed. >> I think we should discuss this. >> Thank you, Mr. And that brings us to the Bars County

Schoolworks Association. >> Yes. Um we looked at once again the next meeting is local and again um last one was in Wen. This next one is in Montville Township High School. So very very lucky. It's on December 2nd. The topic is empowering education community voices for enhanced AI learning. Very um >> topical >> very topical. So hopefully on >> the same night as the back to school with the winter sports >> night going on >> December Tuesdays actually right after Tuesday night >> but yeah thank you >> thank you very much that brings us to the educational services commission of Morris County. I attended a meeting last Wednesday November 12th. Um actually one of the I guess noteworthy things that they did do with that meeting is they authorized the closure of Central Park school

when they first became involved uh with them a bunch of years ago they used to run two special education schools and I guess through declining enrollment because a lot of districts are bringing kids back into their districts. They've had declining enrollment. They closed down I guess Park Lake school in Rockway uh several years back and and now you know they're looking to close their other school. I've had the pleasure of actually visiting going to some of the events that are over the years like their graduations and the you know they do it they have done amazing amazing job at old schools that were running and that it's well sort of a sad to see in some ways because I they had some good operations going there and otherwise otherwise routine business and that brings us

to the boot township special education parent advisory group. >> All right. Uh this past Monday see held a presentation on ADHD and A similar session is planned for the coming months. Additionally, a Zen night and another parenting night is in the works or in the works and dates and details for all those events will be shared with the community. Yes. >> Find your piece in the while navigating the special education processes. [clears throat] >> Thank you. And that brings us to the Google Championship Education Foundation. I missed the last meeting. So there was a good >> She did check. >> Okay. So Lee's gonna help me here. [clears throat] >> Their meetings tomorrow. >> Um the um approved number drummer for fourth and fifth grade in school in school field trip for April. 7th grade

outsiders trip is booked for January 22nd and approved to start the aviation club with Brier Cliff or 67th and 88. Thank you. [laughter] And that brings us to the Ruckley Valley Home and School Association. >> Okie dokie. So, we talked about some different cultural arts events we're planning. We approved an outdoor tent and purchased an outdoor tent for different events outside. We booed the teachers lounge and the front offices with Mr. Patini and I'm the vice president. We are working on using our existing membership toolkit platform to utilize it to pay for snacks prepay and prepay for events sponsored by the HSA NN Foundation can use it. So that's something we're going to try to pilot in the new year and working on behind the scenes. Uh let's see. I just want to give thank

yous to the people who did coordinate trunk retreat. There were over 30 cars which was a very big turnout. Our DJ was two hours late but we made the most of it and a lot. >> And let's see. You know the the lunch has had some hiccups this year. So I just wanted to give shout outs to all of those people coordinating and volunteering. It's selfless. It's a dirty job. [laughter] So thank you to those people. And then we had the most successful book fair to date. >> Wow. >> $8,000. a lot of like like big things going on. The >> best time for cross country undefeated for the boys to win the girls soccer won the championship. This is like the best in a long time. It's all great stuff, right? So, just to

piggy back off of Alicia [clears throat] to the ADHD event. I People have asked me for the slides. We're going to post them on social media and probably this if I can get them on the school website, we'll talk offline. But uh it's a series. So this was like the entry level ADHD what it is diagnostic criteria and then the second session will be intervention and tools for parents and staff whoever to utilize. We're having an HSA sponsored craft night at my house December 5th. We are trying to work on a play date with Mountain Lakes whether it's in the winter or the spring. Uh we are doing an event with them May 1st. Dunk you and Dr. Seagull in dunk tank and have a play date. So that's been coordinated and set up. >>

Are you going to be dunked? >> Yeah. They said they claimed it was just the principal and not the superintendent. They're the same person. It's all good. >> Supposed to be a surprise. I apologize if it was. So December, just for your, you know, parents in the room and in the community, December 8th, 9th, and 10th is our holiday shop. December 15th to 19th is holiday school spirit week. And then one of the most exciting things we're planning is December 21st. This will piggy back off of your report a little bit, Christine, is Santa comes to town on the fire truck. And then we're doing a holiday decoration of your home sign up with scavenger hunt associated. And then at Leonard Park, there's going to be a petting zoo, hopefully fire pits. We're working to

get that arranged. and a tree light up >> on Sunday, December 21st, 6 p.m. Flyers will be out this week and then a survey where you can sign up and there's going to be a philanthropic component where [clears throat] you can sign up for gift cards for different agencies that are in need right now and that'll be out in the next few weeks. So, strictly for Township. Okay, any questions? I think I hit it all. >> Just one more, I think. One second. >> That is when Santa comes around. Correct. >> The same day. Yeah, we did it on purpose. >> So, we can bring him back. >> I think that's it. Yep. >> Great. Thank you very much. And that brings us to the township of >> Okay. Um, the only thing I'd like

to report is the township has begun the transition from the trailers into the new building. As soon as the contractor secures a certificate of occupancy, the new building can be open to the public and the front site work can be completed. >> That's my reporting. >> Is it true they're going to leave the trailers there? No, just >> thank you very much. That brings us to the Booten Township Green Team. So, it's quiet this time of year for um the green team, but we're we're getting ready to do uh with the new garden beds. And I think I've mentioned this already before. And um sustainable jersey is postponed. So, what we were going to expire our bronze on the end of 2026, it'll now be 2027. So, we have an extra year to work on

um attaining the points versus team jersey. And um we're working on the water story. So there's a um a survey about um water and what people's questions are about what they would like to know about what whether it's groundwater or well testing. Like you can um fill out the survey and the uh the new weekly newsletter. There's a link to it on e- news that comes out and um yeah. >> Oh, great. Thank you. >> Okay. And that brings us to the facilities and transportation committee. Nothing very important. Just kidding. >> Um as I think it's been mentioned a couple of times, meeting on Monday at 4:30 um to continue our referendum planning discussions. This particular meeting focused on three proposals that I mentioned at our last board meeting that were outstanding at that point.

These proposals were for soil testing and ground penetrating radar. These are the geo tech proposals. Um, of the three uh proposals, the architect was kind enough to put them together into a spreadsheet that kind of compared them one to another. um they are very very um close as far as the scope of work in each one. Um what is different is the cost associated with each proposal. It ranged from 135 for one uh company one firm to 16K and then the highest was 185. Um over the next few days John Murray Mr. Murray will have a discussion with the architect. They will align on some of the more finer details of these proposals and discuss what's a best fit for RBS and the community. There will be one selected that will then um go to

our attorney for attorney review. It is fully anticipated that a motion will be on our next board agenda on the December 17th agenda for approval of one of these three. Okay. All the information is in the folder, so if you um have trouble sleeping tonight, feel free to open it up and review away. Um in addition to that, we discussed a few other items. Tomorrow, which is the 20th, there's going to be a pre-application meeting with the Department of Environmental Protection, um members of this district, Mr. You're involved, correct? Mr. and then the architects and they're just trying to clarify um the overall next steps and path forward regarding the wetlands assessment if you remember that we approved back in May. The committee also discussed uh potential referendum election dates. Uh we were kind of

leaning towards September. We also discussed November on um on Monday and it's the recommendation of the committee that we're leaning towards a November election date at this point in time for a number of reasons most of which is cost. Um >> and also did allow more time to on board the new board. >> I'll get to that. Yeah. >> The committee then discussed Thank you Lee because that leads right into my next bullet. The committee discussed onboarding those new as we just had our new board members. We made a recommendation that they should be onboarded December hopefully before the end of the school year before um for before break. And we have aligned with the architect that they will come be part of that and we will give a referendum overview as far as to

date what has been discussed regarding planning. Um so they are all the architects are all on board with that. That would probably be a long discussion just so Mr. Mr. Murray um heads up. Uh the committee also discussed next steps. Mr. Patini has talked about some of these dates. I'm just going to run through them again one more time. The architect will be here on November 24th which is Monday. uh meeting with teachers and then having some uh touch points with students in grades six to eight to get feedback again um from not only a facilities but an educational um perspective educational need. Um again there's a survey that'll be sent out by the end of the week to solicit members for an ad hoc committee. Again, um the committee will be um helping us

to gain additional feedback on specifics related to referendum planning. The tenative meeting with that ad ad hoc committee will be December 1st at 5:00 p.m. So hopefully it's late enough that members of the community can join. Mr. continue will continue his community connection meetings and his roundt discussions and they are slated through the end of December. >> Yeah. And by the end of December or mid December I'll have a new meeting times for January and February two two month increase or three month increase. and we aligned that um we will be meeting again December 8th at 4:30. So I think that's about a week plus before question. So we November election or I guess September one like what's the lead time we have to have plans finalized and extend >> September there would be a

March deadline and November it would be May deadline. It sounds like two months apart but it's really probably not quite two months because of dates and all and things of that nature. Um, but it is slightly >> not have to run a special election. >> One of the important things that that was pointed out is that they're so sparse down at the uh at the state level that you want to get those plans down there early. There aren't that many reviewers and some of the senior people are are retiring. They actually brought them back and they're all leaving. So, there aren't too many people down there to review. So, um that target date seems realistic. >> Yeah. Yeah, the main >> well no the the lead the lead time that they're presenting based on their

experience because they they they're working on a number of referenda now ones that were passed >> recently >> and the advantage of their advantage and disadvantage the advantage of the November you can on board the election is at the general election the last election when we did it on our own 15,000 you have to pay for the attorneys but that that'll happen anyway but they have to pay for the election workers and the machines and so forth where it all gets absorbed into the general budget. So there advantages and disadvantages >> and there's advantages and disadvantages for September versus November. kicking around a little bit in committee. We have um aligned that we are favoring the November election. >> The parent survey that I'm sending out is also going to include some information that I

will get from them >> as well as their opportunity to join that or to be part of that. >> That's great. you want um I'm happy I don't know I won't sign Lauren up but if you want to meet separately so we can download what verbally what what this other town did >> and we can >> be honest >> yeah I started to download this I got about two documents in I haven't I haven't reviewed it but maybe before the December 8th >> meeting we can set up some time >> yeah let me know if you want to sit down we can go through it there's some really good stuff they got I also think that because we registered the whole board or >> you can get your materials that were present too >> if

you download the app. I think >> it all I have I have it downloaded. >> Is it on the website or just Oh, you have to go through the app. >> It's on the can. >> Any any questions on facilities. >> So the testing we're doing will use it sounds like it's kind of precisely necessary in terms of what actual specific projects we >> want to explain. >> Yeah, it's it's the radar and then like test just real quick is that you know there there's some scenarios that were thrown out there different areas different things on educational need. So you really have to do the ground penetrating to know where the utilities are, the sewers are, the well is you know and the D and so forth and it may not even be practical to

address one of those scenarios. So that'll help otherwise stop before you start if you can't go into >> any other questions. Great. And we still have insomnia after reading it. any other recommendations. [laughter] >> There's lots in there. >> Thank you. And finance the committee not meeting but we should meet between now and next week. >> We have one spiritually. >> Yeah, we have we have on schedule. >> Yeah. No, we have on schedule right >> for next month. I >> think we should >> we need to we need to definitely you know so so if you're on the finance committee please stay after the meeting in a group of four and we will try to >> calendar >> yeah I don't think I don't think we finance I was meeting >> okay yeah you're

right we haven't Okay. Not a recurring. So if you give me that would be great. >> And with that may have a motion for finance questions one through six. >> Is there a second? >> Any questions, comments, or discussion? If not, the questions on the adoption of finance motions one through six. It's all in favor say I. I. >> No. Any extensions? That leads us to personnel. We met about a week ago and the main things um just so you guys know if you don't see notes, Mr. Fertini does put an agenda with all the bullet points of what we go over since a lot of what happens in personnel can't go on the drive right with names. So the main things on the agenda tonight are approving two subs and then we talked about

the two leave replace I'm sorry not leave replacements but FMLA Mrs. Naritic and then and Mrs. Fate extending her. That's it. >> Thank you. That any questions? If not, um I have a motion for personal motions one through three. >> Is there a second? >> Second. >> Any other questions, comments, or discussion? If not, any questions on the adoption personal motions one through three? This is a roll call. Mrs. Ba, >> yes. >> Mr. Brandon, >> yes. >> Mrs. Cavan, >> yes. >> Mr. Chen, >> yes. >> Mrs. Mrs. Herman, >> yes. >> Mr. Johnson, >> yes. >> Mrs. McBride, >> yes. >> Mr. Mills, >> yes. >> And Mrs. Miller, >> yes. >> Thank you. That brings us to program that I believe we had Friday. I want to say Thursday or Friday. We

met last Friday. Uh we did have robust robust robust discussion and to review the specifics in terms of what makes up the curriculum. We used the most recent math a curriculum as a model and discussed the cycle of reviewing a single content curriculum across all grade levels and it this made sense to see the progression from one grade level to the next and we will begin with that. Thank you for your I appreciate that. You're >> welcome. [laughter] >> And with that may I have motion for program motions one and two. >> Second. >> Any questions, comments or discussion? If not questions on the adoption of program motions one and zero. All those in favor say I. >> I. >> Anyone post say no. Any extensions? And that brings us to policy. >> Yes. Um

the policy on we discussed at our last meeting. Um the main difference in this policy was the addition of sunscreen. Um we have not met uh we did not meet this month. We are scheduled to meet on December 8th, but facility is meeting at the same time. So, we need to change our meeting day. Um, so I'll be sending out a new time for that new day. and more. If you want to meet as a group of four, [clears throat] >> yeah, >> a group of four and after the group of finance committee of four meets, feel free to [laughter] >> feel free to do that after the meeting as well and see if you can compare calendars or or wait for your email, whichever. And with that, we have a motion for policy motion

number one. >> I'll move. >> Is there a second? >> Second. >> Any questions, comments, or discussion? And if not the questions on the adoption of policy motion number one. All those in favor say I. >> I. >> Anyone post say no. Thank you. That brings us to governance. Our friend governance. Governance has to meet. Um we attempted to get some meetings going and we were having a tough time then the workshop came up and just you know trying to squeeze squeeze in again but we would absolutely like to try to meet between now and the next meeting so we could actually discuss on boarding our two new board members which would be [clears throat] a good a good thing for us to do as a primary focus. Um, I'm just wondering >> you are

so one more. >> Is that the correct one? >> I hope so. Hey Jeff, please Mr. Chen, Mrs. Herman, and Mrs. Yes, >> but perhaps if you don't mind also meeting in a group of four after the meetings is maybe sure of a date if uh one proposal was tomorrow at 4:30 if it works but if not we can also meet and discuss trying to get another other dates in we have to start with Mr. calendar and then your calendar see if we can make something work. So we have three >> we have three groups of people to meet after the meeting separately groups >> talk about the composition of that >> because if we're talking about on boarding >> but they can but they can give us their um >> that's interview no guiding

your still your guidance on on boarding boards. And now you know you know what we have anything you know else you know you can suggest they're all new board members. [laughter] So so that that'll be great. So we have three groups of people to meet. We could compare our calendars and with that there is no motions. That brings us to open session number two. No one has arrived since open session number one. So I will not read the open session statement. I should just to give you the appearance that there's a lot of people there. Uh is there any old business to come before the board? Is there any new business to come before the board? I haven't some of the that we are doing here. I know we had a discussion last month about

NJSI scores. Do you guys compare like no approaches results on testing is that sort of >> not just yet. Right now we're really focusing on doing a gradual and progressive approach. Our first half day for a faculty meeting. Our our times or our days don't align perfectly. We get out a little earlier. So then we went over there. We had a little meet and greet. Some teachers already know each other obviously, but we're setting that foundation. And then we had our head camp which was just strictly PD people learning from each other. It was full day. It was wonderful. Our next meeting is going to be more curricular focused and I guess you could say like articulation about assessments programs and things of that nature. My anticipation is that we're going to be moving forward

with more of that stuff as far as like assessments and instructional models are concerned. And then I could foresee us going in the direction like I reached out to Mount L. they want to join us in our cohort for OMG. They've had most of their teachers trained, but new teachers come in. So, we'll continue to do those to do to do those things. We'll share some ideas and professional development and even some services. And moving forward, I think we're going analyzing some more of those things in terms of the data which will then help kind of like have more of like a cohesive program. I guess you can say we've already had those discussions with math, so we're in a good position to have that happen across content areas, but it's going to be a

pro a process. Yes. >> About this process and us being like the lighthouse for outgoing like just so is [clears throat] there a cost associated with it like that we need to anything like >> as far as as far as >> running the training sessions or anything >> not running it? uh there's a cost associated with us having our teachers bring home trained and you know partaking in in the press but not for the elders if anything if we do some of things like that and we and we host those I would hope that at one point we'll be able to maybe gain some funds through that but right now that's not where we're at. So, do each district who is sending people all pay the teachers? >> They they pay the program or the

company institute in >> I really like that you're bringing districts together to >> Oh, thank you. That that's happened a few times last year where I sent teachers over to Milburn and it was a free program for literacy leaders. They had a phenomenal time over there. Obviously, we're having other districts coming together for the professional development for OG partnering up with Lakes. So, there's a lot more for that of that content. It is very exciting. And even the even the guest speakers for the podcast, that's also kind of like moving in the right direction where I wanted to go. My next one is going to be an author, poet, consultant who is going to be doing something along the lines of poetry or reading um writing and things like that, >> helping children do that

at home for their college essays for their writing classes and even for parents. >> So, how does that get out? I feel like I haven't I've seen one, but like >> as far as the podcast, >> yeah, how does that get >> uh I just I have them posted on underneath my tab. Okay. >> So, I think um this she called Brad there's a folder and it's Rockway Valley Radio. So, I should just tag them or link them in there or something like that. >> It'd be fun to have a link like that in the weekly newsletter that goes out to the community. >> Yeah. Uh the the Rockway evaluator usually happens about once a month. And as far as the the visiting author, that's going to be something that I'm trying to get to

happen. >> Yeah. 100%. So if you're looking for the author, it's not on yet. >> I have uh new business as a board. Speaking of PD, we buff on and I feel like we haven't had trending. I think >> I just wanted to >> I know the new person that came on board to his replacement. We have to >> reestablish and then be good to get a training session. >> Yeah. >> Not sure what's available. >> Maybe it's good to reach out. >> We do have a referendum. Yeah, we could do that. We could do that online from another district. >> That would be great. >> It would be good to have the live version. >> Yeah, get something for the new board members too. Just learn, you know, something you know to learn help

learn the ropes as it were. That would be a good one too. >> Yeah. >> Maybe maybe next year's calendar and you know, reserve. >> No, you know, sooner than later as I would say as soon as you especially Yeah, absolutely. >> Good January. >> Yes, absolutely. Especially the new board members. >> Yeah. >> In terms of next newsletter, since you brought it up, um when would you guys like to see that and contribute to that? >> The last one was at the end of September, early October >> early month. >> Yeah. that are now. >> Yeah. Januaryish. >> Maybe not the reorgan. >> Yeah. Welcoming the new members who they are. >> Yeah. >> Well, yeah. So, for so rather than sending a survey out of like, hey, take one of these rank these

training programs. Do you think >> referendum and something new? Something that would really help the new board members, you know, learn the ropes. Larson might get >> Yes, we do. I want to let that last >> if they can focus it too since we go through one successful >> and with that lens if they can kind of tailor it to our needs. >> Yeah, that would be great. >> Sean, how do the credits work from Atlantic City for those of us who went to workshops? What do they they don't count for anything like that? >> Unless you went to one of the ones that account for the four that you required. There are other board academy points that you can get. Yeah, there's different levels >> different levels within a a board member individual and

>> but those are the mandated ones and then the other ones are towards achieving >> yeah there's different level you know different different levels of certified board member you know types of things like that >> versus certifiable that's another whole story >> one more thing added to the PD in addition to having guest speakers and having our teachers get together with with educators from other districts my ambassadors program is having students get together. So, I'm partnering up with another school in Patterson is a K8 school and they're going to be doing some service projects together, community service. They're going to be doing the World Congress on. So, I just got those students that um applied for the ambassador program and um we're looking forward to doing stuff minimally during the school days because I don't

want to interrupt instruction, but we're going to do it after school or on the weekends, >> nursing homes and things like that. and even just social things to have the kids have that type of experience working with other kids from different backgrounds. >> That's great. >> It's gonna be really cool. >> And is there any other new businesses coming before the board? >> I have actually old business. I apologize. >> We can go back. >> Okay. Is everybody done with new business? >> Um old business regarding the feasibility study and is that moving forward? Yeah, I will contact the attorney to find out because you know when they when they came through the last time let's see where they are. >> Yeah, we talked about I thought like January, February, February. >> We could still

>> We're not talking about anything. >> Yeah, >> with it going on. But January is probably not a good time. >> Let me let me reach out. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, >> I think referring Trump that discussion another agenda have a meeting to talk about. >> Absolutely. >> Yeah. Thank you. Is there any other old or new business to come before the board? >> I don't know if this qualifies as new new business, but I'd like to bring it up as as a whole. So, each each committee meets um on certain day usually >> and we have certain times. I mentioned this to various members of the board that my position as the principal I'm I'm really bogged down during the day and if I'm extracted from going into the classrooms and doing lot of

lessons meeting teachers during routine time and things of that nature then I'm supposed to be the instructional leader during the day with the teachers being hands-on being immersed into the classrooms in the hallways meeting the students and every moment that I do back um or do the superintendent during the day, it lessens my impact to the kids and the teachers. And then uh conversely uh if I'm hearing you all correctly for the past year or so that I need to have a balance. I'm here late almost every single night. So what I need to do is I need to restructure my time and the committee's time. So, for example, if we're going to have a policy meeting or committee meeting and a program committee meeting, I need to have them backed up next to each

other on a Monday night, for instance. I need to be very present during the day with the with the referendum and things like that, talking. We had contract negotiations earlier. It was a send risk agreement and the negotiations, those were late nights, but some of the stuff has to happen during the day, but really have to be immersed in school during the day. So, I need that time for for the committees to happen after school and I need them to happen kind of back to back. So at the very least I'm not out four or five nights and sometimes even on the weekends now I need to I need to have one or two nights during the week where I don't have any meetings because I'm doing the parent presentations. I'm doing joint PDs. I'm

doing joint presentations with Dr. single community connections, property dollar round table, all those things. So, I need to have those days like I usually would do like Tuesdays, Thursdays or Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays. Those are the days that I work late and then like Wednesday would be my day where I get to work out or go home or whatever it is, do something for myself because I don't have that work life balance and that's that's been very difficult for me. So, as the new board members come on board, I need to restructure how we're spending our time together. That's for the benefit not only of me and for my health, but for the health of the school and me doing a dual position here. I think it's beneficial as well for the board to have to

know that first Monday at five o'clock, you know, it's easier on. >> There is that piece where you have a job during the day and to take off work that's tough, but you also have children and you have to take off work at night. So whether we have the meetings during the day or at night there's you know the cost benefit or the pros and cons but for me personally I would prefer to have let's say the first Monday or the second Monday that's program policy finance or finance always before our Wednesday meeting so people are here I need that to happen for me so again when we have to do on boarding for the new committee members and board members I'd like for us to take that into consideration >> that practical a little.

>> So after after the school day, >> we'll try when we set up our meetings for next school year. We'll >> you thinking like all of them back to back one night or like two and two? >> Both of you have at least two committees. So like let's just say on Monday that'll be a back toback. Yeah. And then we could do it on a Thursday back to back. >> All right. >> Because that again minimize the number of nights that I'll >> Yeah. That sounds good. [clears throat] >> Thank you. >> At worst if we can't all do that separately, we can you know you know old older new business at a board meeting. you can sit here with their calendars together. Yeah, make it work, you know, to do that. >> And there

could be a possibility of combining some comment or do we have too many committees? Uh do they meet too frequently and when we meet are they the agendas are not effective and efficient because sometimes I like sometimes meetings are an hour. I think we could do 20 minutes >> to be polite on right. So I think that could probably help as well. frequency maybe the overlap of committees and just efficiency. >> Well, the frequency is generally good. It's usually once a month. So, I don't think I'd want to reduce that maybe on certain committees extension, but yeah, I've been open to combined committees and there were some in the past that were combined that were separated. >> Why do you need to combine them? Could you just do 30 minutes? 30 minutes. you [clears throat]

you could or or if you had the same um composition like you sit you like you sit on the two committees in order you know what I mean like there's the four people who sit on pro and polic do it together so example like >> facilities and transportation and finance perhaps that could be one >> maybe it's the same competition of four people that are on that >> combination they were almost combined and then they were separated >> combined in January. >> Um yeah, I mean look we we create the committees at the reorganization meeting and then after we create the committees then they're populated at that point. So actually right now is a great time to talk about this >> you know about the committees like this I don't have any thoughts about committees

that combine or >> to I feel like I'm a status bias person. >> Sorry I'm I'm a status quo biased person. I feel like the committees are working well and it's too condensed now. take six weeks and try to shuffle all them, you know, into I don't even know if they'll be in there. >> Well, I don't think six weeks. I think like for example, John was saying like facilities and transportation and there I don't think there's any reason why there can't be one committee. Sorry. Well, there's probably >> finance and facilities here were together and they were >> that's a stretch to say they go hand in hand. >> Facilities is running two hours right now. I don't want to be here for three years. >> You're going to be at the budget committee

>> because once the budget starts gearing up then then >> well or after the referendum you can reevaluate >> because right now that's kind of a special top >> because after that the facilities committee will be the case that makes sense in the long term. So, so for the next year probably keep those separate but after if if we are successful with the referendum >> for the next 20 years after that we could >> Yes. >> And I would argue that policy and program could be together because policy should be driving program >> so that's just my strong opinion. >> I think that's a great idea about having the same committee members and they're back to back. It's almost like >> or just if and if they are the same members might just >> you

have to. >> Yeah. committee if that's not being the case. But yeah, I guess I there's opposing cons. I I get the the efficiency of time. The other thing a con [clears throat] could be you know you know like like for the representative you have facilities you have a group of people there you know clients so you get exposure more exposure of the topic to the board versus not but depending on the topic but that's just a uniquely referendum right now. >> Yeah. You know, >> mostly the f like finance on it. It's pretty >> it's pretty routine. It kind of gets to a submission of the budget, but then most of the overlap now is because of referendum. The more of the meaty stuff is going to be >> Yeah. >> facility referendum related

finance. Otherwise, it's pretty routine up to submission >> governance if I mean we've probably met once in the past year, but it should be maybe quarterly. Does it need to be >> monthly? Sure. Well, I also I I also hear what Ben is saying about, you know, you don't want it to be too long, you know. >> Yes. >> Between sessions. Some some districts actually be the committee meet twice a month, you know, or board meetings there twice a month. So, >> we don't we don't want to rearrange things so that >> it's rushed and we don't get as much done as we need to get done. That's not my intent. My intent was to try to like I guess streamline it so that it it's not such a heavy lift for me every week.

I don't mind keeping them separate, but if we do combine or do we do back whatever it is, it just needs to be compartmentalized. I guess >> that is true. They do they bunch up like they seem to bunch up in a a particular week. makes it a lot but it helps is spread you know like the committees don't have to meet the week before like there might be stuff that can be like you know maybe if it's one once a week it's this committee or that or try to bunch them up if we can >> I guess >> going to be back to back >> yeah like you know >> it's just the distance between the committee meeting and this here you don't want it to be three weeks >> yeah like priority meeting

time >> yeah like one week it could be Monday at these two committees are this Monday and then the following Monday there's a loyalty committee so that way there's like one day committ >> traditional finance like would always meet before a board meeting like getting ready just to prep you know go over the presentations or something >> you're already here >> I feel like half hour the Wednesday >> routine that you know >> to Ben's point I'm good with I guess status quo right now there's a lot going on so just leaving the committees as they are and then to to Mr.'s point we we just meeting right after an hour or an hour >> but I do want to say that in the long term I do see weak people >> yeah I think

I would want to have like our NGSP get one or some you know I wouldn't want to do it. I think just combining them because well you know we always use this way or >> no I'm not saying that I'm saying I see synergies with combining the committees that they don't have. I mean there are some towns that have a special ed committee that M lace has one like they have all kinds of committees and then there are other towns that have like three or four committees that's it that matters. So like >> I just think too >> there's no standard rule too. It's whatever we deal with. >> I think it's efficiency for what Jeff said. And I know just in facilities everybody's trying to talk. We really should just like one person talks

at a time. You don't need to reiterate the same point. If we're all in agreement and move on just very basic meeting management, I think even our two-hour meeting the other night, we have >> parking lot items and >> key updates, decisions that need to be made. >> Yeah. Put it on a list. you need to bring it back the next meeting and discuss it. >> Well, I don't also don't mean you to get me wrong. I'm not criticizing how our meetings are going or anything like that. >> We're being of ourselves. I mean it it's also it's also the other thing that I like to do at night like those meetings or >> going to the town hall or I want or attending mountain lakes or meetings you know I want to be available

to do those things would help me during the day and also my presentations and attending things that I think we can accomplish like a good a good efficient schedule so it is you know your your time you know you know like nights out because they're they are scattered all over. So we could absolutely combine combine them and I think like you know like you the example facilities and could be merged when there's not a referendum going on. >> Yeah. >> There's really not much you know facilities is dormant typically if there's nothing major like that going on and that could be long long expanses of time. So in a year doing something like that those could be one committee many for sure and we would know that the beginning of the year what we're doing

the upcoming school year. It's like this year like you say. Yeah. Yeah, maybe not a good idea, but a year from now, absolutely. Mine >> like negotiations with norm. >> Yeah. >> You still need the committee, but then you just don't have action to take. >> Yeah. >> And maybe as we're meeting as our commit, you know, continue to meet as our committees. Let's talk about like overlaps and possibilities of combining, you know, as as we go along. See, pick get stuff around in the committees and see what you think. I I don't know if others are but I'm not opposed to can't just push that say that this is just not palatable like if you're saying we need to arrange I don't want to speak other but I feel like that's what he said

I'm sorry >> that we'll take your need if you're like this is too scattered we can is there a way to do it just tell us because I don't like when I meet I was like we can be able to do it but if you have like it's not palatable for your schedule just tell us >> yeah I want to start with your available and then then try to you know give get some dates and then go out to you at all to make it work. >> Thanks for listening. >> And we can test that out after the meeting when we have three groups of four meeting separate and to uh yeah open your calendars and see if we can schedule those meetings we scheduled and but excellent you know thank you for bringing it

up because this is perfect place to talk about that. Uh is there any other old or new business? And if not, there is no other board action uh before we adjourn. But you know, thank you all. Like have a great Thanksgiving. You know, congratulations to our sports teams again and have a motion to adjourn. >> Is there a second? All those in favor say I. I. >> All right. Have a great Thanksgiving.
