were able to have them do their internship three days a week and substitute two days a week so that we always had somebody present for the children the rising stars information sessions will be on the 2nd of December students in Algebra one as not in algebra 1 as 8th graders have asked to apply not many but there have been some and the rubric is created to support everyone to apply obviously the better you score within the areas the higher you you know you perform you'll be accepted but we definitely have had some teacher recommendations from Union Beach as well for students who may not have had algebra that could qualify so we're going to let them go through the process this year and I'm mrs. Lord is aware of that which is great there are

two PSA announcements that have been included in the morning show at Central School in regards to positive cafeteria behavior I know that they're right out of the gate there so I'm sure that I went one student made a statement about something that you know grammatically we've buttoned up but I have to say I'm very proud of all of those students for just raising expectations of what a Red Raider is and that starts as far as down there at the central squall KHS alum and I will be visit us next week to be a part of our annual College panel so it'll be great to see these students return back to share their trials and tribulations and with the current students that we have so that's great this next statement is an idea for mrs. Dinnigan

and the Central School students are going to be distributing happiness bags in the neighbor and right around the neighborhood of the Central School there's gonna be a variety of different things in the bag just to just to show during this time of the year if you will not exclude it too this time but that you know escorting our students around and giving them these nice happiness bags and maybe brightening somebody's day kind of like paying forward mr. Mallya is hosting a breeders workshop celebration and I wrote writer celebration I apologize on that for narrative units of study on the 27th please let me know if you can visit from 10:30 to 11:00 or 1140 to 12 I did already get Miss Abraham summer my first customer so please reach out to me and let me

know this will be great time for you to see some of the instruction in place and it's a great time of the year there are a variety of different events coming in the near future one of which is mr. Palumbo is going to be visiting the Monmouth County Superintendent on table with me on Friday to do what's called an ignite presentation and ignite presentations is saying something in five minutes which is not always easy for superintendents however he's going to present on alternatives to college so it's really cool and he's very nervous but I'm very proud to have keyboard again out in the public and just getting our names out there so congratulations to him for that and again there's a variety of events going on if you please you know let me know that

you can attend that would be great and thank you very much thank you to Commons 7.04 checker theories report yes I'm just gonna go through some bold items excuse me a 7.2 is Miss Melancon echos resignation I'll be accepting that this evening eight point two point two is something that we approve every year it's the medevac helicopter uses the central school field for some some practices in some emergency medical situations nine-point eight is a donation from mrs. Jackson Miss Jackson was a substitute in the district for many years she's donating $125 in honor of her father who I guess I'm sorry who would have been a hundred he also had worked for key ports schools and there is a small section in the central school library that had had been dedicated a number of years

ago towards him and so this donation is to go to that there is a motion to approve new mail machines of actually gonna save money by getting new mail machines that cost on the old mail machines require a monthly maintenance charge and because of the age of the machines the maintenance fees are higher than if we are getting new machines so we're gonna get some new machines excuse me that is all that I know that I have so I guess would be looking to take action from seven one two nine nine and I just also want to remind the board that prior to our December meeting if we can just get some direction on the 2020 meeting start times remember we talked about possibly 6:30 or 7:00 at the last meeting I just needed some

direction because after our January excuse me after our December 18th meeting the next meeting is our reorg meeting where we'd be approving the calendar thank you all right can I get a motion on seven one two nine nine I'll make it a second any discussion no discussion Gopal the Abrahamson yes mr. Houseman yes mr. Maroni yes mrs. Panzer le yes mr. Staley yes mr. white yep mr. McRoy again yes okay motions pass would you like me to go through a curriculum personnel and policy mr. Hickman yeah thanks no worries okay the bold items that you see is an additional staff member going to responsive classroom then I'm happy to announce that we're going to follow protocol with the Alumni field hockey game and we have an alumni basketball game great to see some people coming

back to the district it's that time of year to was greet to approve our preschool budget for next year through the PE EA funds that the grant I attain several years ago but it continues each year and the workbook is pretty consistent with what it was last year - the playground because we did that this summer other additional field trips and underneath the personnel section are the two interns I spoke to and they're substituting and the approval of Miss Parsons return to work she is going to be out until the end of the school year I'm at the end of the calendar year next year but we will have another intern with substitution in there as well and she may be able to modify that timeline but for now that's where we are and that

doesn't conclude any additions since I jumped the gun before we're gonna get a motion now in 1002 1115 alright I keep going we keep going it policy mr. husband there's nothing additional it's just the second reading so you would go from ten to twelve point one I can I get a motion on ten through twelve point one I'll make it a second this is Abrahamson yes mr. Houseman yes mr. Maroni yes mr. Panzer le yes mr. Staley yes mr. white yep mr. McGregor staying on 10 14 and 11 13 arrest yes okay motions pass thirteen point Oh old business yeah just real briefly I just want to let everybody know that this is gonna be my last meeting I know there's a December meeting but I'm not gonna be here for that I just want

to publicly thank my fellow board members for the times that we've spent together trying to create our learners leader learners today leaders tomorrow it's been a good six years it started off a little challenging but I think that journey lent itself well to where we ultimately ended up and actually had a good call with mr. mountain Konica recently who I want to publicly thank for her services when I wasn't here the last time but we both agree that you know the experiences that we've had together on the board I think helped to shape us and we we all had the same goal and we came here which was to help students and we may have had different methods in which to try to enact some of those things but I think at the end of

the day we all came away with lessons learned so and yeah challenge board to continue building on the good work that we've we've started I think it's exciting times a lot of changes that can and should be made and do what we have done well building what we've done in the past and then tried to change what needs to be changed but I think at the end of the day it's a small town it's a resilient town and I think you know people will be fine you know as these cycles come and go you know it's enduring and it will be fine and none of us are it replaces the end of the day it's it's a good group here I'm still a citizen of the town and certainly I'll probably pop in occasionally is

it's needed when I came here I didn't have any issue necessarily that prompted me to run for the board I just wanted to do some public service as it turned out I kind of gravitated toward special ed because I kind of benefited from being a disadvantaged student my entire life and benefited from the goodwill and the strong leadership and the least among us helping hand that has helped me along the way so I think that's one of the reasons why I've always gravitated towards making sure that we're doing the best we can for special ed I've been a little bit hard on you dr. Savoia but it Galt's them from a good place in terms of special ed so thank you guys for the service for the people who haven't spent as much time with

on this board I I really do think that you guys have brought some very good energy fresh energy to the board and I think there's a lot to be built upon so I'm still here I still pay taxes I'll be around and occasionally I'll pop in but this is my goodbyes so take care [Applause] big weights a little humble and he definitely has challenged me there's not one of us as a board as we grow and we as you say nobody's everybody's replaceable I have to say that some of the lessons learned and the things that I've learned may not have always been what you wanted but I certainly have challenged me to grow as an instructional leader and I think board members I can speak for Elena Mellon Conoco herself as well that's what

we do you it's a very thankless job what you do but thank you very much mr. white because you have challenged the district to grow thank you in a mission you brat in back now any other old business 14-point our new business don't watch all right no new business fifteen-point Oh public participation Joe okay adjournment to executive session we do have a floor session an action will be taking sir in action will be taken and I believe I beat your record and no no close resolved by a creeper for education as per chapter 231 public law in 1975 it is hereby is hereby determined that is necessary to meet an executive session on November 20th 2019 to discuss what are we discussing pupil matters sir in motion oh wait a minute the matters discussed will
