001So I will call the meeting to order and we will stand for the pledges. >> I pledge algiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, liberty and justice for all. Just look at the flag. >> Yeah, there's some >> I will entertain a motion for the approval of the agenda. If there are no changes, I will make that agenda as [laughter] motion by Mrs. Co. Do I have a second? >> I'll second the motion. >> Seconded by Dela O. All in favor? >> I. >> Any opposed? >> That motion carries. We will move on to three approval of minutes. First for the regular meeting of February 9th, 2026. We have a motion to approve the minute for February 9th. Motion
002by Mrs. Esra. Do I have a second? Second. Seconded by Mrs. Cole. All in favor? >> I. Any opposed? Okay, that motion carries. We'll move on to the emergency meeting minutes of March 5th, 2026. I'll make a motion to approve the emergency meeting minutes for March 4th. Motion by Mrs. Es. Do I have a second? >> I'll second the motion. >> Second by Mr. Dela. All in favor? I. >> Any oppose? That motion carries. We'll move on to item number four, reports. >> Any questions for operations report um this quot just keeps on going up. I know. [laughter] Well, you can't. >> Yeah, we don't have the actual bit yet. We're just a cact, but they estimate about 2.5 million to do the gym the way it was additional. >> Yeah. To make the gym.
003That's just a estimate to not pay anything. >> I'm thinking just sitting >> this one should go down because the quote actual quote we're hoping was for the doing it like the existing >> first. Yeah. getting it >> one time. Maybe it will >> be cheaper, but I guess you know. >> No, >> I'm really grateful that the doors are finally working at the high school. >> Yes, >> we're still working today, right? >> As of right now. >> Awesome. >> James said [laughter] questions, comments, >> sorry. Go ahead. >> On transportation, I had seen this bus out for about a week um during spring break. Is that kind of something that we do? An activity bus. And it was an activity bus. >> Yeah. One of the bus I think it was after the
004girls went to playoffs. It was at a residence house for about a week. I guess wherever they had it last >> it's probably from the Washington trip. They took the kids and the the white bus. Was it the white bus? >> Yeah. But I think it was after spring break. [clears throat] >> I think that bus was at Katrina. >> That that's the one I think they used for wash. inside. >> Yeah. >> Well, it was there for a week or so. >> Yeah. It was just parked there. >> It was China. >> China to be sure. Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Okay. >> So, it was just that the the trip they left like at from here at 2:30 in the morning on Monday night and then she had to go and pick them up
005at 10:00 that night and they got back on Thursday night and they got back like at 2:30 in the morning or so. >> That was prior to that. >> That was prior to >> prior to that. I think it was after the boys they did the girls. We used the smaller one, the >> half. Not not the little one. One >> in between the micro and the bigger one. >> Okay. >> I just wanted to make sure on it. I just wanted another one, but I don't know on that one. Okay, that's okay. >> And I was happy to see that um the city is assisting the law. Yes. It's it's still kind of we don't know because I check with the architects and they're saying they ran TDC all the way up to >>
006second street very >> he says >> DC >> the next step is to test there at the location special Hopefully that'll help us determine if it's coming from the city or if it's coming somewhere from our >> side of our architect. It shouldn't be from >> these are brand new but that's >> so from the city >> the big part water [laughter] you guys trying to work together with the city. >> Any other questions or problems? remember anything? [laughter] So, I'm just going to be honest. Um, we had RA spend the whole day today doing observations because we want to do like begin vertical alignment, but after assessing our needs, I think we're going to move in a different direction and do more of a explicit instruction in our our school. and I just happened
007to go to a literacy um in Alabama which was really awesome and they worked on explicit instruction. So hopefully what we bring back is really going to help everybody at our school and we're just hopefully moving forward and super getting ready to finish the year and be ready for next year. Just improving what we're doing. >> Awesome. >> Thank you. >> Any questions? forgiving speakers [laughter] >> since your view. Yeah. >> Um well fame I kept on it will pop into my mind actually that there's a board meeting and then I will forget about it and I'm like so anyway just a couple of things the the kids did go to Washington. Um it was very the the reports were really good. The the kids they u made a lot of connections. you know, the
008especially with like um the Vietnam memorial and seeing Ben Dugan's name there and you know to them it's it's kind of like they don't know you know so they don't then they don't know anything you even though we tell them about it you know it it's they don't have that personal connection to it so with them going and then seeing those names there and putting the carnations there it really made that emotional connection connection to him. And um the the tour tour guide um his name was Kevin and he really went and researched a lot about the two of them and gave a lot of information that even the adults didn't know about. And so it was really um they they really got a lot out of that. Also um I don't know if you
009all know but Mr. Cloverson so that the students can memorize the preamble of the constitution. He has them sing and I won't sing but because I might >> first everything here but um so they they stood in front of the cap and they sang it there in front of the cap and and so it was it was really nice and so and I think it was put on a Facebook page but it was really nice. Um so they they really it was an awesome experience for them. Um and some of them were like even um next year can go again because they they enjoyed it so much. Um and then um the other thing and I forgot the other thing that I was going to mention uh the film is this week their competition themed.
010Um there [clears throat] was something else and I don't remember what it was. Um >> that's ini. Yeah. Um cheerleaders are are um also competing up there and we have some cheerleaders that their films are also in there. So there's going to be an exchange when they finish with with the cure competition. they're going to be handed over to the film um staff so that they can participate in both. Um and then the other thing is we're in the process of trying to finalize everything for the middle school track team. Um we're um we have we just need to get we'll miss our first meet for sure because the first meet is next Thursday I believe and I can't remember if it's in I think it's in TRC maybe um but we'll miss the first
011one. We hope to have everything ready to go for the second one which will be the following week. Um the we just need to get everything is ready to go with the uniforms except for the sizes but all the stuff to put on there. Um we just need to get that and we'll get that tomorrow. Um and get the the weights um for the discus and the shop put are a little bit different than what the high school. So we'll order all that uh just to have everything in place. And um we're in the process of of um I'm just waiting for coach Fedo to give the recommendations for the the coaches for the middle school track team. And so so we'll we'll be starting that. Um we had a total of like 30 kids
0126th through 8th grade that are interested in it. Of course, some of those eighth graders um have went ahead and competed with the high school um chosen to do that. So, we'll see how many come up. I think um fifth, sixth and seventh graders, I think there was about 14 or so. >> So, and talking with DJ, he said that maybe there have been about 10 that have come out of those the other ones of the eighth graders. So, whatever is left will probably join just our eighth grade team. So, anyway, so that's that's what's going on. Other than that, you know, we're just um we're down to the to the nitty-gritty as far as testing is concerned. We'll be testing um science next week. On uh Tuesday, we'll have one test. There's a total
013of three tests. on Wednesday, we'll have the other two so that it doesn't um so that we don't interfere with their the the baseball games and the softball games and that that are on those on Tuesday and Thursday. Um and then we'll do the the math and ELA testing the week of April 13th. Um, and again try to work around the schedules of uh also what's what's what's better for the the kids also because I think on some of those like on this one for sure I think we the away game the Tuesday away game is one that's a little bit further away. It's not just pogri or damine or you know it's a little bit further knowing that the kids are going to it's baseball they're going to get back later. So, we don't
014want to start testing at 8:00 in the morning because we know the kids are going to be tired. >> So, you know, we're going to try and test them like a little bit later, give them a chance for that. So, but um you know, we're just going through and like I said, getting getting prepped for that testing and finishing the school year. Simple. Thank you. Thank you. >> Thank you, Jason. Good evening everyone. So, um, start back about a month ago, our National Honor Society had an induction ceremony and we inducted nine members, which is pretty awesome. I think that's maybe a record, huh? Pretty pretty high for us lately. >> Lately, yeah, in recent history anyway. So, that was nice. Um, NHS has also been reorganizing our library and keeping track of it and,
015you know, putting books back and things like that. So, that's been nice to have. Thanks to Mrs. Fong just happens to be here, right? Um, we also uh February 17th, we had a anti-bully bullying presentation by a group called Stanford Asylum and uh they they travel all over the world actually doing anti-bullying movements. of our kids seem to get a pretty good reaction to it. That was nice. Um, our National History Day team led by Mrs. Coerson had 36 students compete in Los Cusus on the 24th. Um, we had one group of Olivia Bernol, Jason Mansfield, and Azariah Haynes who got first place on the reign of terror. So, they'll get be going to the state competition at Albuquerque. Another group of ours, Isaac Dwerte and Amaya Arviso and Juisa Rodriguez, they got third place
016for their exhibit board, which was so they'll be going to Albuquerque as well, which is nice. And there are a couple, they did punk rock, which was a really fun board. And there are a bunch of other kids who did great stuff and we'll uh but just didn't happen to make the cut. Um, next up, we had Teen Maze right before spring break. This year we held out the special event center because we had basketball practice and it would have been a mess for basketball practice that week. Um all our kids in the high school were able to attend. Um they walk through like kind of a life simulation when they do that and certain things happen to them and they see just figuring out how choices good choices bad choices can make you a
017difference in your life and great you know great results. Kids had a good time seemed to be pretty good. We will also be doing testing this next Tuesday for the SAT for our juniors. And then we'll do the science state test next I think Tuesday and Wednesday. >> It's the following week. >> It's the following Tuesday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday. I'm not I can look back on there and tell you who knows. Um and yeah, we'll we're well within the window. We'll have that taken care of. We'll have lots of baseball and softball trips this next week. Um softball will have a tournament in Artisia. and Saturday. Baseball is going up north. They play a bunch of smaller schools about our size. They'll be leaving Wednesday night. I plan I think three or
018four different teams up there. And again, state cheer will be Saturday, which is a big one for sure. And if you guys are around Thursday, our cheer team will do a little uh a presentation at 6:30, I believe, at the central gym. So, if y'all can come to that, that would be great. >> Oh, any questions? Let me know anything on that. We So troopers been out just we were doing some things. We didn't get an athlete from Portland, but you have any >> um other than track traveled last week, last Friday and Saturday. Um softball's had a game already. Baseball had it. I think they've just had one game so far. Things are going well. You know, things rolling along. >> Yep. It's It's just going to be crazy until >> Oh, on that.
019I thought there was a category before. I'm sorry. Um, how do we determine who gets signed as type of football? I know there's I don't know. I think there's three coaches pay for football. >> I think so. >> Okay. So, how do we determine >> who coach says the other the others are volunteers? So they they don't happen >> like for track for example since we have so many kids now like are we >> we'll have probably a head coach and assistant at that >> uh no I'm thinking about high school um so what I'm saying is I'm sorry for football we have three coaches that are get paid >> basketball we have two like you know like with DTMS as well I don't know how junior high works if if it's the same Three
020coaches for >> no junior high coach >> for junior high. Is it three pay coaches or is it two pay coaches? >> It's two. >> Right now it will be two. >> So when do we look at numbers? Cuz we decreased right because that's where we dropped down to you know now we're at what eight or seven. >> Eight men and before we're 11. So when did we do we eliminate a coach pay there because we de decreased? >> Um we would just have to look at it and see. >> I was just looking because I'm just curious with track being so many kids. >> How many kids are incorrect? Do you know that? You know how many kids are in crack? I don't know. I was just saying, well, maybe we should have a
021boy head coach, a girl head coach, and then there's two assistants >> in track because of being so many kids. And then, of course, a junior high gets paid or an assistant, a head coach and assistant both, right? So, it's like, how do we determine I know it's determined by the kids. So, like we >> and the head coaches by what they need. I mean then you know when they asked for more if we could do it we did >> cuz volleyball it was crazy too cuz volleyball >> Yeah. >> we had a C team JV and the varsity and they're trying to make >> Yeah. >> So I'm like okay we're how do we determine or see yeah equal sports >> all the way around. >> Yeah. Because if we're only having 15 kids
022in football and we could pay three coaches and then volleyball has 30 some girls see team Jay-Z and varsity and we're only paying for two coaches. It's like where I don't know. I'm just >> Yeah. >> I'm just so curious and >> yeah look at it. I mean it's always you know the coaches say they need and then if we can we do it and >> Yeah. cuz I I'm pretty sure that we have probably 50 something kids at the track field like Miss Montel says like there's 30 something >> out there. It's like okay, >> you know, >> for the junior. >> Yeah, but that's a lot for the junior high, which I'm happy to have the numbers out there, but that's a lot for having >> two two coaches out there. It's like
023>> how >> just so we our kids are being taken care of properly and >> stuff that's hope is okay answer my question. [clears throat] >> Anything else? >> No. Yeah. Um on Trinity, um this high school, yeah, high school had a total of 38 contacts, 19 personal and 19 letters mailed as well. And then 44 contacts on that RP. So still better than last year, but that's still a lot. >> And of course, the weather extreme pain. >> Yes. >> Yeah. Any questions on that? >> And then on the superintendence board, I know it's long, but really it's just about the ICV software, which we've discussed before, just more in detail on it. Um, so it was only $1,000 more so than what we were paying for just the business. So, we got their
024full suite of software. So kids need an elective or need a place. It's all via, you know, they have to go to computer lab to do it, but it is another option that they can take several different types of classes online strictly for CP type classes, especially if they're not interested in welding or auto pick or a business class. If if I may, how do we get the word out like with these like do >> Well, that'll have to come from Yeah, >> from the counselor. >> Yeah, it has to come from the counselor like a message >> when they Right. whenever and whenever they we we need to get it in for the course catalog just to let them know. [clears throat] >> Yeah. >> Any other questions? That's all it >> Yeah. to
025the website >> see it too because sometimes these kids don't take the information home and sometimes the parents don't read the curriculum book. >> Yeah. >> Maybe >> Yeah. We put a link to the website, >> you know. >> Yeah. Be on the lookout. These are new options that your our students will have from the next school year >> and that way it's >> right >> and we and we don't want to hurt any existing program >> you know so >> but for those that are interested >> right those that are not that is their option there's an elective right >> yeah it's e glass it's like they're interested in egg business more in depth business. [clears throat] >> Yes. >> Nothing for public forum. >> No. >> So we'll move on to item six,
026board of education issues. >> Right. So the first one is a plaque for >> Mr. Pom. Yes. Um so we'll get it to him. Um and maybe we'll say well probably wasn't able to >> working this week. >> Yeah. Um and then just a reminder Tuesday, not tomorrow, but the next Tuesday we have ours region 8. Um and we still have the plaque, you know, because we were supposed to split it with silver. We got it. We never [laughter] >> We'll let him look at it. >> Um and then the law conference in Albuquerque is June 4th through 6. [clears throat] >> Um the leadership retreats pal July 16th through 18th. And then I looking forward to next year. The annual convention is December 3rd through the 5th. And then I you have a list
027of basically the top 10 students. Um so email me your choices and then we'll and then I'll email you. >> Right. We don't do one. It's not like Yeah. that that's due to Mexico School Board Association come week. >> Okay. And then we have a Von. >> Hey, are you on? >> Good evening, President and Superintendent, members of the board. Sorry for that brief um pause there. I couldn't find my unmute button. >> Right. So, you know, without further ado, I'll just go ahead and jump into it. I do have a brief bond sale update for you guys. Um, I will try to share my screen here so I can show my presentation. Oh, I can I sent a request to be able to share. Um, oh, I think it went through. >> Perfect. >>
028All right. All right, so just jumping right into it. We sold $1,625,000 with the New Mexico Finance Authority one week ago on March 9th. Closing is scheduled for about 1 month from now on April 17th. Uh the maturities of the bonds range from 2026 through 2039. Um there is a 10-year call date. So starting in April of 2036, these bonds will become callable. But at a true interest cost of barely over 2%, you know, the chance of refinancing these bonds for any interest cost savings in the future would be would be quite difficult. The total interest came in at just $169,000. So that the total debt service on this $1,625,000 bond will be $1,794,000. Now on this slide, we just have the overall debt service schedule. Um, as I had mentioned, the first uh principal
029payment is scheduled for 2026. So, in about 7 months now, we'll have our first principal payment and we'll pay off $520,000 of this bond sale. Um, that large principal payment uh upfront is by design. We do that both for tax rate setting uh purposes to absorb any excess collections you may have in your debt service fund and we also do that to create interest cost savings throughout the life of the loan too. [snorts] You know, additionally too, for this issuance, the district did qualify for the New Mexico Finance Authorities disadvantage program that essentially allowed us to price uh 10% of this issuance at uh 0%. And so that's reflected in the final maturity in 2039. That coup or that maturity was priced with a 0% coupon. And then additionally, $77,000 of the 2038 maturity was
030priced um at a blended maturity of uh 0.299%. 299%. So that 0% coupon is reflected both in the 2038 uh coupon and the 2039. You know, history of bond sales. Um we came in just below your last bond sale back in 2023. You know, as I'd mentioned, the true interest cost came in at 2.02, beating uh the last bond sales TIC of 2.06. You know, to be frank, if we price this bond, these bonds today, we would not have beat, you know, 2023's TIC. Um, you know, with all the the tensions going on in Iran, we have seen upward pressure in interest rates. If we price this bond today, we calculated that it would be about 0.15% more expensive, and that would have equated to about $10,000 more than uh more in interest costs. So,
031you know, with this in mind, we're very happy with how this result came. we feel that we were able to get into the market before a lot of those um upward pressures on rates really came into fruition. [snorts] There is a market update in the back, but I I kind of already talked a little bit about what we're seeing. Um again, we're seeing some upward uh pressure with rates. The Federal Reserve does meet this week. It is very likely that they're just going to hold rates and and they're not going to cut them. Um, it really just kind of depends on if the Fed wants to prioritize, you know, the job market or if they continue to be concerned about inflation. But at the moment, the markets are pricing in that there won't be a
032rate cut and there likely won't be, you know, until maybe the late summer if that. [snorts] Ultimately, I I stand if there's any questions um for the district regarding the bond sale. >> No, ma'am. >> No. >> Okay. Again, congratulations on the successful bond sale. Um, in front of you is a tax rate resolution. Um, I'm I'm happy to go over that unless you'd like me to wait until we get to that action item at the end of the agenda, whichever you'd prefer. >> You could go over it now and then we'll just get to it on the agenda for the vote when we get to it. >> Sounds like a plan. So, I have the resolution um up in front of us now. Really, all this resolution is stating is that, you know, for
033our current year, tax year 2025, the district levied a $6.71 cent debt service tax rate and that it is the board's goal and intention for the tax rate to be $6.71. Again, um I just want to clarify that, you know, this resolution does not guarantee what the tax rate will be next year. Um there's factors within that such as you know your collections and also your tax base that you know will ultimately impact that tax rate. But really what this resolution is doing is it's just stating our game plan and our our goal for what that tax rate should be. [snorts] >> Any other questions? >> Well, thank you. >> Thank you. Um I'm happy to stay on the line um through the rest of the meeting in case you guys have any questions um
034about the approval of the tax rate resolution. >> Um you're welcome to. I think you covered it all and then It'll just be a vote. We'll get down there. But you're welcome. >> You know, if you guys are in good shape, then I'll I'll go ahead and hop off, but myself, I'll be I'll still be working. Just give me a call if you've got any questions. >> Okay. >> Thank you, ma'am. >> Thank you. And have a great rest of your meeting. >> You [clears throat] That's it from the board's education. Okay. So we will move on to item seven consent agenda approval of accounts payable and payable liability. >> Any questions on any of the tracks? >> I don't have any questions. Yeah, I will entertain a motion. John has any questions. >> If
035>> I will make a motion to um accept the account available on payroll liability transaction motion by M. Do I have a second? >> I'll second the motion. >> Seconded by Mr. Dela O. All in favor? I I >> Any opposed? And that motion carries. We will look at the field of budget adjustment requests. >> So, we have quite a few. Um, and it's really it's it's good for us, but all but the last two are increased bars and they're all from cash carryover adjusted to last year's budget. Um so total there from carryover from last year we're adding about 1.7 million back to our um so the first one's basically um the debt services for the deal bond it's uh so and basically what the increase the cash carryover is they under projected you
036know they they projected that we would have less not even what we had. So when we had a lot more money than what the business office projected geo bond it's an increase of 115,751 on the next one and it's all kinds of different but it's basically operational. That's an increase of 1 million $128,798. Uh that the next one is instructional materials for a dollar more print that out. >> Yes. >> Um >> yeah. And the next one's uh from instruction general supplies materials for $2,800 or $600. Next one's another instructional materials. Um, $8,975. >> Next one's from the road service, New Mexico Highway Department, $33,346. [clears throat] The the next one was from um an award we got in 2023 and everything was spent except for $1943 that's been carried over every year. So, we'll
037probably put that back into operational, >> but it's $1943. And then the next one is another bond building the geo bomb uh $40,519 SP9 capital improvements uh additional $221,3545 another state match on SB9 167,984 board. Next one's non-instructional support increase or carryover was 16857. Another supply material for this is a level up reading challenge for RT was $1,000. So this is not far $1,000 for R&D. for general supplies in field. And the next one is uh title one. Our final reward is $40,4059. That is all. We will enter a motion for a budget adjustment request unless the board has any questions. >> I'm going to make a motion to accept the budget adjustment request as presented. Motion by Mrs. Cole. Do I have a second? Second that motion. Seconded by Mrs. Eswell. All in favor?
038>> I. Any opposed? We have a motion carries. We'll move on to eight discussion items on projects, >> right? And we've talked a little bit about, you know, the cap area. And so that is the priority we want to focus on with this initial outlay. >> Okay. And then we'll see how once we get actual estimate, we'll know how much extra we'll have. Then we'll come back see what we want to do next. cuz I know I'm well I can't say I know but I'm pretty sure that there it'll come in way >> under the 2.5 >> well yeah it won't be that the 2.5 is for the c well the cafeteria going to the gym >> that was convert the gym and everything and make the cafeteria >> so that one's not part it's
039just >> just the gym that extension of the gym as well >> no there's no cafeteria and the gym. Remember last month you talked about so that 2.5 million would just make that conversion make the workable cafeteria type aesthetic. So best bet will be to stick with the original cafeteria and do the expansion there. We're hoping because I think they initially what was it like 1.4? >> Yeah. Closer to Yes. the RVT bathrooms. It was just a a renovation, not a complete. >> That's what they recommended was just kind of renovation because like the the faucets, sinks, all that, you know, during CO was >> that got all updated. >> So that's that's a face. >> Yeah. And we have we're still the same company getting the estimate on that, too. Yeah. >> And this
040company is because of the state, right? >> Yeah. CES. Yeah. Yeah. There CES >> and we can't go out the bids like bids or anything. >> We can we can um >> I don't know how accurate would then we'd have to go through probably architect to get that and then the construction. And then one reason this company's kind of unique in that they have their own in-house architects, their own construction, their own. >> So they kind of it's like a one-stop shop. >> Yeah. >> C, >> right? And it's all >> right. So we would pay CES or CES, you know, >> be had to pay. >> Yeah. It's the same I did the new >> Any other questions? >> No. >> Item number nine, action items, discussion on possible action on resolution apart from
041employee participation in the US vote. >> Right. And we do this every year and it's [clears throat] just so our parttime employees can get health insurance. >> So we have to do it every year. >> And how many employees is that? >> We really don't have We just do and it pays but yeah we really don't have any. >> I was like why would they want insurance? We're taking more out of their insurance than getting a paycheck. Yeah. >> But some do get want the insurance. >> Right. And the state they part the state pays a lot more. Although there's one I think pass law next year be 20 for everybody. So that'll be time to be but like right now it's it's the less you make more the state. >> Yeah. It's how much
042we have the district. or make a motion to accept the parttime um resolution for 2026 2027. Motion by Mrs. Cole. Do I have a second? >> I'll second the motion. >> Second by Mr. Delo. All in favor? >> I. >> Any oppose? Okay, that motion carries. We'll move on to discussion and possible action on resolution for LMS to join the Southwest New Mexico Council of Governance. >> Right. And that's we've talked about before by the time we got the proposal and everything. They require resolution from the board. So I couldn't just sign up. Um we couldn't make it in time to last meeting. So to sign it, I think they prorated it $1,200 for our cost >> for the remainder of the year. >> The remainder of the school. Yeah, >> we'll make that motion.
043>> Okay. >> No, I'm going to say we need a This is not the one I need a roll call on. It's the >> the last one. Yeah, I we need a roll call. >> I'll make that motion to go into an agreement with Southwest Council government by Mr. Esville. Do I have a second? I'll second. >> Seconded by Mrs. Cole. All in favor? >> I. Any opposed? That motion carries. We'll move on to C the possible approval of the 2026 2027 school calendar. >> Right. So the market it comes with the little graphs there. Uh overwhelmingly it looks like graph calendar is the one that was chosen. Um, >> but were these all the comments? >> Yeah, that was all. >> So, I think it's just >> we give them >> and they still
044have like two like the staff. >> Yeah. >> And then the parents. >> Yeah. We try to accommodate everybody, but we can. >> But yeah, there's no way to accommodate. >> Yeah. >> We're trying to work with you guys. >> I I Well, I told why you need to do a surgery. That's just past what we did this year. >> Yeah. >> We like to give people >> Yeah, it's good. But but still like >> Yeah. >> Come on. [laughter] Next year we want zero points for just kidding. >> Yeah. So, but calendar two was over. So, that's one. >> And that's Can we ask administration if they liked it? >> Yeah, I think calendar two was predominantly because they were part of the staff. >> Yeah. Push pretty heavy for calendar two. I think
045it makes more sense for to end the nine weeks >> and then have a break so you don't have a week of >> a week. Yeah. In between the nine the end of the nine weeks. It doesn't make any sense. So, >> and the first one was kind of keeping us in line with the black silver schools and several schools in the area. There's breaks at that time. >> Has two weeks of spring break, >> didn't they? >> Yeah. >> Wow. >> I got a little boy at the movie theater yesterday. [laughter] Yeah, >> I'm like, "Okay, so when do you guys move in? When do you guys get out?" Like, >> they have to do the same number of days. >> Yeah. But they don't mind. So, >> well, and Silver is going the
046week after Memorial Day, >> right? >> And we're ending before >> and a lot of people have not >> and my kid doesn't need to be home an extra week. >> Yeah. [laughter] >> Pretty much going like all year round. So calendar two makes more sense in terms of the nine weeks. Yes. >> And then that's that was predominantly everyone's favorite. >> So I mean that's the one I would recommend that we go with. >> I'll make a motion to accept calendar by do I have a second? >> I'll second the motion on the calendar. by Mr. Dela O. All in favor I carries on the consideration of and approval of the resolution on intent to maintain no less. >> Right. And that's what you went over in the resolution there by your side. We
047do need a roll call on it and it is basically just saying we can keep our tax rate the same as what it was last year >> and that's something >> unless something changes. It's not and this is not mandatory and you don't have to do it with they just the state to do this. So >> yes prop the capital spin off I think on your >> yes I'll make a motion to accept the mill levy as presented with the tax rate and she stated that tax rates not set in stone it could be flexible >> motion by poll. Do I have a second? >> I >> seconded by Mr. Del O. I will call the board member. >> I if you accept it. >> I I accept. >> Secretary, >> Vice President I and
048myself I. So that motion carries >> and that covers all of our business. So I will adjourn at 6:50. >> Thank you. >> Yeah. Aune.
